Personality: Although some demons can be quite good, Fenrir definately isn't. Although he isn't pure evil, he is far from being the Byronic hero written about in legends and poems. Fenrir is a selfish, purely sadistic being whom wants simply to exist well, and anyone who stands in his way of that will get a face full of metal. This, of course, is a general overview. Fenrir is a complex being, as are all those that are sentient, and he has layers in his personality. The only difference is, Fenrir chooses to ignore them. He doesn't want the world to see he is a good person. He was warped by his past, and as such, he should be a demonic entity of pure hate and pain. As much as Fenrir hates it, he isn't. He is a decent person, when he lets his gets gaurd down, anyway.

Normally, however, Fenrir acts exactly as you would expect him to ask. He is cold, ruthless, and blunt. The perfect combination for someone that only wishes to prove themselves through combat. Because of his past, Fenrir has a pure hatred for confinement, and anybody who so much as tries to trap him in so much as a legal contract will find themselves dead. Like any demon, Fenrir has a high Vice-Virtue contrast, his main vice being Pride and his main Virtue being Compassion (even though it is for combat). In fact, his pride is so great he once got himself trapped for 400 years in a massive pit filled with ice.

During his time on earth, Fenrir became an incredibly suave, sophisticated being. At least, around the females. He found it quite simple to seduce them or rape them, depending on his mood. In fact, around the university campus he stayed at one time (out of pure boredom/the want to experiment with his seduction skills) he was known as "The Rod" for his sexy persona. Despite this, Fenrir is actually capable of Loving, and in fact, even has fallen in love with an Iramasha named Kyrie.

History When Fenrir was born, The Seer (a demon in the area he was born in with Precognative abilities) predicted that he would be the death of their chief. He was kept under close surveillance for the first 100 years of his life, until that became not enough. As such, The demon chief trapped him in a deep pit. Well, that wasn't quite the extent of what had happened. First, they played on his pride to trick him into donning a special suit of armor (called the Gleipner). This resulted in another demon, a notable swordsman, lose his arm through a deal made with Fenrir (which would be useful to him later on). This armor was the only thing in the Demon's posession that could hold him, for his strength and abilities were so potent that he broke free. Nearly as soon as he dawned the incredibly heavy armor, he was trapped in place, his body melded to the structure. He would never be free. After this, they dropped him into a massive pit in the very depths of Hell, before filling it with Ice. Cyrogenically frozen, there was no hope for he.

It was during the 400 years he was trapped that he gained his abilities. Fenrir was a very particular demon, born with no abilities (which was ironic, given his prophecy). As he grew older, however, he adapted to his surroundings. He became accustomed to the armor, his strength rising to ungodly levels. Or at least, that's what it felt like. His strength didn't really increase, he just unlocked his first ability. The manipulation of metal telekinetically. After 200 years of being trapped in the pit, he was able to move his fingers. After the 400 he was trapped, he was fully functional. This was, however, only the first of what had to be done. The second was the amount of ice that was stopping him from breaking free. The metal, however, was not the only thing he adapted to. He also adapted to the cold to levels where it would yield him yet other abilities, Thermokinesis. Fenrir was slowly learning to control the temperature.

The reason he could even move at all remained a mystery to him until he became fully aware of his second ability. He was able to manipulate the temperature of the metal he controlled, melting it and hardening it at his leisure. By doing this, he was able to melt the ice around him, evaporate the water, and create a bubble that allowed him to move. The evaporated water disappeared into the natural air pockets and cracks in the tunnel around him, and although it didn't help him then, that knowledge would be his key to escaping. Or at least, that was his prediction. What actually happened was one day, while he plotted his escape, the ice simply disappeared. He had noticed a strange aura pulsating through it, but it wasn't until the ice completely vanished that he understood. The demon king and lord of all hell had arrived. Touketsu stood before him, offering him salvation.

At first, Fenrir didn't believe it. He simply thought it was his time to die. Readying himself, Fenrir asked the most important question. Was he ready to die? The answer was no. Telling Touketsu that he would prefer to do things his own way, The Demon Master smirked. It was a horrible smirk that would haunt Fenrir forever. Although he wouldn't work for him, he respected him. He wished he was as powerful as Touketsu, at least he wouldn't be trapped for no reason (it was never explained to Fenrir why he was sealed). With that, Touketsu left Fenrir to his own devices. Deep in the pit, Fenrir had to learn how to escape on his own. Concentrating hard for six days straight, he found he could not only control metal and it's temperature, but generate it as well. After three straight days of sleep, he awoke fully refreshed on Hell's energy, and the leftover energy from Touketsu, which had seeped into the tunnel walls around him. Feeding off of it through touch (an ability granted by manipulation of his armor), he was at full power for the first time in four centuries.

Creating a panel of metal, he used it to float to the top of the pit. It was then he saw the mob. Every demon from the area was surrounding the pit, all with their full abilities ready to strike down Fenrir. It was finally time to unleash the ability he had gained from biting off and swallowing The Swordsman arm. Holding out his hands, twin blades appeared in them, and they would be used well. Fighting with a flurry of metal, fire, ice, and blood, Fenrir finished off each and every demon around him. Once dead, he used his armor to absorb their spiritual energy, growing stronger. Unfortunately, this was only temporary. After he had slain every demon in the area (including the leader, whom he had struck down accidentally), he fled. Unbestknown to him, he left one survivor. This survivor followed him, and in the dead of the night, when Fenrir was asleep, he sealed off his abilities. This was all he could do, knowing he would not be able to kill the monster that was Fenrir. Fenrir was simply too strong for the young demon to handle.

Or at least, what he thought were his abilities. When Fenrir awoke, he found he could no longer manipulate metal in any form. Thankfully, he still had his swords created, and could manipulate their temperature still (though he didn't know it). While he travelled through Hell, he gained more control slowly over his thermokinetic abilities, his right sword focusing on Cold while his left focused on Hot. After 200 years, he had full control of the ability seperate from metal, giving it a new place in his repitoire of skill. The full extent of his abilities were now known as HellFrost and HellFlare. It was only when he fully mastered this that the same demon whom had sealed his abilities revealed itself to Fenrir, and also revealed that he had been stalking him for the last two centuries, watching him rise in power. The demon in question was named Vidar, and he was his cousin.


Vidar was now strong enough to fight Fenrir. In fact, he was strong enough to fight Fenrir full on, so he removed the seal. Fenrir thought this was quite noble, but stupid. Fenrir knew Vidar stood no chance, and the battle only took three hours before Vidar was completely at the mercy of Fenrir. On a whim, he allowed Vidar to live, before leaving. He had grown tired of Hell, and saw no reason in staying. Allowing himself to be summoned by a reckless Mage, he killed the poor bastard with a simple blade conjugated with a deft flick of his wrist, a throwing knife in motion before it existed. Not even bothering to absorb his energy, he instead used his abilities to force his Armor and swords into a very low state, giving him the basic appearance of a human. From then on, he spent six centuries touring Earth, watching it evolve and change. He particularly disliked Iramasha, for he found they were copycats. One iramasha, however, slowly wove her way into Fenrir's heart, and he soon fell in love with her. She is a different story for a different time, however. A fast learner, Fenrir didn't take long to adapt to every species and what they did. Unfortunately, he still hasn't found a good sparring partner, and he feared he never would.

Powers:

Molybdkinesis: Fenrir's most basic ability is the ability to manipulate and generate metal in all of it's forms. He is able to create very complex to very simple designs, and his crafting is his most powerful ability. It is very refined, even to the point he is able to manipulate the original purpose of the metal (such as an enchantment).

~Gleipner: This is the suit of Armor Fenrir wears. It is very durable, and able to be repaired if need be. It has a special enchantment on it that was originally intended to sap Fenrir's energy, but he has manipulated it so he can now absorb other energies and store it for later use.

Thermokinesis: Fenrir's secondary ability is the power to manipulate Temperature. His original and most common method of doing this is by manipulating the state of matter his metal happens to be in (melting it to be liquid, freezing it to be solid), however due to extensive training he can now manipulate the temperature around him in a 5 meter diameter around his body.

~HellFire: The highest form of concentrating Heat, Fenrir is able to create flames around his armor and swords that are so hot only the prefix 'Hell' is able to fully describe it.

~HellFrost: The highest form of concentrating Cold, Fenrir is able to create Frost around his armor and swords that are so cold only the prefix 'Hell' is able to fully describe it. He is able to cause Frostbite with a simple touch, and prolonged usage will deaden the 'touched' forever.

Swordsmanship: Fenrir's Tertiery ability is his intense skill in zanjutsu. He is able to manipulate his two blades as expertly as possible.

Strength: The quartiery ability that Fenrir has is his massive level of strength. It was what first caused him to be sealed away in a Hellpit anyway. An approximation of his strength is the comparison between an Elephant and a mouse, humans being the mice and him being the elephant.
