Separation of the Twins
At a young age, Circa was never one to be close to people. Her only close interaction was with her twin sister. The identical twins who were a spitting image, playful angels of Germany. Lovely ale blonde hair, fair skin and blue eyes which made everyone who interacted with the young girls think they were little angels. They lived happily with their elder brother, their mother and father. Such peace and tranquility was their family. Joy and delight always coming from the family. The mother worked at a nurse at a local clinic and their father a doctor. This is how they met, after all, through the yearning and desire to help humans even if they weren't.
However, years passed and at the age of 10, there was a dispute between the two parents. It wasn't understood by young CIrca at the time as she heard her mother shout and call her father filthy, disgusting. There were a few phrases which caught her off guard and thus got her attention to go speak to her sister. It was after a long conversation and her sister breaking down in tears was it confirmed of their father's sexual misconduct with Maika. The distraught twins remained tense and huddled together for some time until there was a loud clang, followed by a thud. Their mother could be heard crying before she came running into the twins' room. Her hands stained crimson and black which set them all into a state of confusion. Their mother hugged the twins and explained she called the Police and she wasn't going to be around for some time. The girls, so innocent, had never seen such a thing nor had they believed such a thing could ever happen in their home. How could so much go wrong.
Their mother went and washed her hands before returning and began packing two bags for the girls, one bag each, with their personal belongings. Cascading down the stairs towards the front porch, the girls saw what they expected but didn't want to believe. Their eyes glued to the puddle of black and red which surrounded their father. All Circa could ask herself was what the black was. After a short time, their mother pulled the girls out to the front of the house where they sat, curled together as close together as possible. This was the last time they would see their mother, they knew such, and thus every moment mattered. As the sound of sirens entered the air, the mother tightened her grip on her daughters before telling them one simple phrase.
"Remember... Blood is Thicker than Water. Take care of one another."
Once the Police had arrived, they picked up the girls and their bags, bringing them to a separate cop car from their mother. The last that Circa could recall was her mother begging the police to let her ride with her girls just until the station or at least keep them together always. Unfortunately, neither would become possible. The girls watched through the back window of their escort's vehicle and watched their mother be placed into the back of the police vehicle before driven in a different direction. Maika began crying, waling in the back seat, with her sister holding her tightly. This continued until reaching the adoption center. The two remained with one another for all of two months before Circa was adopted and dragged from her sister. Her left eye turning pink as she argued, resembling that of her father's but it was only for a split moment. No one seemed to notice or think it was real for the short time being before Circa was escorted out, looking back at her sobbing sister, to give her a final smile.
Six months after Circa's adoption, she remained in the house, doing her school work before dinner would be served. Her eyes watching diligently on her work before getting tense at the name "Maika" being said on the news. Her entire being turned to the television and quickly slipped off her chair to get closer. A live news feed telling of a girl named Maika Erobern who committed suicide and was discovered only moments earlier, hanging from her bed-room ceiling fan. In disbelief, she kept staring and watching the screen as they showed an image of Maika to confirm her being. Shouts of anger and sorrow rung from Circa before she pulled on the television and forced it to the ground, letting the screen smash, shouting and blaming her parents for not adopting her sister as well or letting her stay at he orphanage.
Two years of Solitude
After such tragedy befalling Circa's loved ones. She remained away from others. She didn't want to get close to anyone. She didn't wish to speak to anyone. Sleep, Eat, School, Home, Chores, Solitude, Repeat. This was a constant state for the young woman. No matter how her mother tried to cheer her up or offer to bring the young girl out to a concert or asked her to go hang out with her friends, Circa always replied with something passive aggressive or extremely blunt. This includes things like "Why sit in a room full of people that I don't like?" or "What friends? People are useless."
These thoughts continued and festered for two years. All the girl knew was the anger from the day she lost her sister. Her mother mentioning from time to time that her eye seemed to turn pink when her wrath was invoked, but the girl didn't get phased by it and brushed it off. The wonder of if her parents knew what sort of child hey had beginning to dig a her but she couldn't allow such to bother her too often.
A New World
After so long of not talking to anyone, the young girl is asked by some of he classmates to hang out with them after class. Now, if it has been just one or two, she would have said no in a heartbeat. However when a group of individuals approach, it seemed smarter to just agree. She had always watched these individuals in her class. They always seemed to be close and protect one another. They functioned as a unit which brought the girl great joy to see. However, she knew they were all humans. Thus meaning the likelihood of them remaining her friends was much shorter than she expected. However, enjoying the moments they had would have only positive outcomes for the 13 year old girl.
Each of the individuals she encountered in such a group were crazier than she expected.
Zack: The 'Big Brother' of the group. Normally joked and poked at by Circa by being called Zacky-Kins, only to get a reaction from him. He tended to be very kind and loyal. A few mood swing here and there when it came to women he'd date, but none the less, Circa remained to help him and such would never change.
Oreo: The quietest individual in the entire group. More often than not, people thought this young man was very creepy. It didn't help in the slightest that he stared blankly at people, more often than not. Oreo is just a nickname which he was known for no matter where he went, however his actual name was Josh.
Revan: The passionate geek of the group. More often than not, him and Zack would butt heads and get into arguments over very silly, if not entirely stupid, things. Normally Mai and Circa would sit back and watch while Haruno tried to get them both to stop. None the less, Revan was always a fun person when he wasn't being too headstrong about his favorite books or movies.
Sebastian: The pretty boy and class president. More often than not, Sebastian would be voted class president because of his natural charisma and over-all charming ways with people. He was always a very smooth individual who enjoyed bringing smiles to peoples faces. This also greatly included Circa, once he finally spoke to her. After all, asking her to hang out with them was all his idea.
Nina: The loud mouth. In every friend group, there is always one. They're loud, aggressive, tend to be very over-dramatic about things. She was the princess of the group but that didn't make her any less terrifying when angry. Her fuse was shorter than Circa's, and that was saying something in those times.
Haruno: The exchange student that stayed. When Circa met Haruno, she only had one year left before transferring back to her school in Japan. However, instead, she convinced her parents to let her study in Germany just a bit longer. As they saw her scores in schooling, they decided to get a home in Germany for the girl to live in and let her continue her schooling choice. The innocent girl was able to stay and be the voice of reason among the chaotic cluster they called friends.
Mai: The baby sister. Mai was always the cute and fragile one. She didn't like talking to others too much, unless they were in their small collection of crazy. More often than not, however, she could be found chewing out Revan for being rude to someone over his opinions. Rudeness was one thing she never let slide.
Dante: The Attempting Badass. All this young man ever wanted was to be cool. And with his friends being jut as crazy as him, he decided to show such quite often. Circa believed for years that he was in a state of mind where he was absolutely delusional. Saying things like "I'm a badass for a reason. They've made games of my accomplishments." Which always made Circa laugh as the young man began scaling the side of the school building, climbing up the wall carefully until reaching the top. Only to be caught and suspended from the next day of school.
Quickly, Circa became like a mother figure in this group but was also taken care of by Zack, Oreo and Revan as their sister. This continued throughout middle school as they all continued to go to school with one another and even into highschool. This bunch was not likely to separate.
Traveling Souls
Their lives were peaceful, besides the usual teenage angst and shenanigans of "He said, She said" or anything of the sort that came with Highschool and adolescents. However, they knew that this would all have to end soon enough. All of their times together would just be faded memories which they lived so briefly and then had to continue on with their lives like every other growing individual. Nothing forced this realization more than the dreadful word 'Graduation'. It was their final year all in the same school, same neighborhood. It was time for them to all separate and move on from what they had known so well and come so used to. Surely nothing could stop them from continuing and enjoying their times together, right? Alas, fate had more plans for the young Circa that no one expected.
Because of her deep desire for nothing more than to be the best she could, Circa was taught to adapt to her surroundings, especially in the more dangerous parts of town she had to go through for work, and thus she began getting close to a more dangerous group. Did she realize such at the young age of 18? Absolutely not. Was she going to stop? Not likely. Or at least she didn't think she would have to until things were too late.
The day before graduation, Circa and the entire group decide that celebrating together would be a great idea. By this time, Circa had just begun dating the male which no one expected her to even be attracted to or vice-versa, Sebastian. Zack, as usual, watching closely on the two, ready to knock Sebastian in the head if he even dared to harm Circa. None the less, the walk together to the local pizza place was exactly what the group thought they needed before the big day. As they walked together, Circa and Sebastian hand in hand as the group moved, they could hear blaring music of a car approaching quickly. It was a sharp turn for a car, for sure, and such speeds would be dangerous. However, that didn't seem to matter to the driver.
The car came up beside them and a man peaked his head out the window, wearing a face-mask. He shouted out for Circa, getting the group's attention. As her lips part to speak, the man pulls out a gun and aims it at the girl. The ringing of gun-shots getting the attention of locals and neighbors before the plate-less vehicle sped off. Circa's body hit the ground hard but she wasn't sure why. Was she hit? Was she shot by these vigilantes? She didn't feel any pain of any kind and slowly sat up to check herself. Not a single would could be found on her being. However, her eyes did land upon something she never thought she'd see.
Sitting down, his hand against his abdominal, holding down and adding pressure to stop the blood. Sebastian coughed and winced with pain as her looked over at Circa with a faint grin. All he did was ask if she was alright and as she answered, he coughed once more. Crimson trickling over his soft pale skin and making its way slowly down his chin. His grin never fading as Circa scurried to his side and held him. Realization finally hitting her as she looked at her other friends who were still from shock, shouting at them to get help as Sebastian bled. Her hand placing over his own, adding her own pressure to try to stop the wound.
Sebastian leaned into Circa and tilted his head towards her, speaking so softly that it drove her insane with how hard she had to listen to him to catch his words.
"Sing for me like the free bird I know you'll be."
Instantly Circa nodded and began singing a song which the man knew well and always loved hearing her sing to him. Her hand holding tighter as she fought the tears, knowing that her singing was his last wish to her. He just wished to be held by her and hear her sing like the multiple times they did during their schooling years. She didn't stop singing even as paramedics arrived, but she could tell from how limp Sebastian had become that he was dead. She couldn't feel him breathing anymore and he wasn't speaking. He died in her arms just like that.
No Rest
After such an occurrence, the young woman found the scene plaguing her memories, thoughts, dreams and everyday life. Interactions with others becoming stiff as individuals began calling her nothing more than a low-life, a murderer. Reminding her that Sebastian had died in her arms, that the bullet would not have hit him if she hadn't caused the wrong crowd to wish her dead. She could not go a day without seeing the same kind of vehicle and beginning to cry, hearing the song which she sang for him and feeling her body want to shut down. Let alone, look at her own hands without seeing blood staining them.
This was a constant plague upon her mind and there was no sign of such stopping. The possibility of it stopping at all was low for the young woman but she tried her hardest to push past the negativity of her own mind and nightmares. However, such continued to haunt her mind to the point of chronic nightmares forming in her head. It wasn't until this time that she began hearing the laughter in the back of her head. The constant growling which faded into maniacal laughter. This didn't stop once, and continue to cause the young woman to go into a slow state of insanity. This continued for a long period of time before being physically slapped out of it.
Salvation
With a firm slap across her face, Zack and Revan forced Circa back to thinking clearly. She was forced to hear the words "He's dead! Get the fuck over it" on a daily basis until finally being able to accept that the man she knew and the one who died for her was no longer around to hold her. He could no longer save her and thus she had to begin saving herself. With a thank to her dear friends, two out of the old group who dared to stay, she began meditation and practicing mixed martial arts all over again from the basics. She had no qualm with re-teaching herself things she had learned when much younger for it only improved her.
Through discipline and perseverance, Circa continued forth for what she did the best, survived. However, as she slept the sounds of the laughter never left. Every night she heard the laughter dancing in her mind until feeling like her throat was being closed of, crushed under the hands of another and shooting awake. This occurred every night, waking her before sun-rise. Eventually, now being a young adult at the age of 18, the woman too comfort by moving in with Revan. As they lived together in their one bedroom apartment, he often woke to her gasps and screams. Taking the time in his day to show his care for her, Revan and Circa become closer than before. Eventually, Circa convinced herself that such was possibly the path she was meant to take.
Growing Attachment
With her attachments for Revan growing quickly, she eventually found herself becoming uncomfortable. Was such really something that Sebastian would have wanted? For her to move forward? Or did he want her to just find peace? Unfortunately the latter of the two was seen as impossible for the young woman. She didn't want to think about it and quickly pushed such thoughts into the back of her head and attempted her hardest to make things work with Revan.
As things between them continued, all seemed well. Things were too well, to say the least, as Circa continued the relationship and schooling, living with this man as he cheated. Time after time, as he came home late from hos long day of 'work', Circa remained a kind woman and asked "How was your day?" and catered to her boyfriend, though she had worked her hardest throughout the day at school and work. However, after stating she was going out with some friends, Circa returned home early due to a fight breaking out int he old pub. Stepping into the house and taking note of the candles which had been lit around the house, the woman smiled expecting her boyfriend to have done something cute and romantic. She walked into the house, dropping her bag and taking off her heels before making her way into the bedroom. Once she did, she heard a scramble before a hard thud and quickly flicked on the light. A sharp growl leaving her at the sight of the woman before her wrapped in sheets which Circa had bought and laying with the man she worked hard for.
Without a word, the naked woman ran for the door only to be tripped by Circa. The moment the female hit the hard wooden floor, Circa turned and kicked the woman in the ribs with all the might she could get in her strong legs. Shouting commenced from there as the woman cried and left, grabbing her things and leaving in just a sheet. Circa's attention turned to Revan as she stepped forward and swung straight for his face. The man took the strike, knowing his own rule as well as hers. She'd never strike a person without a reason and he knew he gave her a perfect on. One swing was all she needed to demonstrate her anger before pushing past the man and packing her things. Like that, she left.
To the Roads
No longer caring where she went, the young woman began her travels to find what she needed more than anything, peace. Years passed her by without the woman noticing much. Her life became a game and such was evident to those around her as excitement became her way of life. To explore, manipulate and conquer the world around her. As she traveled,s he learned more about who she was... And What she is. As the young demoness grew, she got herself in more situations of harm than one would expect. Such including a car accident.
With a head-on collision, Circa and her companions were warped into a new sense of insecurity as the new individuals which called her their 'friends' found themselves in a flaming wreck. The back seat unable to get out as two females remained trapped. Circa, as the passenger, got out without so much as a scratch, which shocked her and her companions who escaped. The driver was able to crawl out of the wreckage as well as one person from the back seat. The last female in the back was unable to get out as the car exploded from an oil leak and the catching flames, ending the girl's life in one burst of flashing light. The young woman seemed un-phased by such and quickly gained the nickname Monstrua.
Questioning herself ever since as to why she walked away from the accident without much of a scratch, the young woman behind trying more and more dangerous stunts to see how far she could go. One day she decided to climb to the top of a construction sight at night. The structure so far had been four stories up, but to her it didn't seem like much. With the laughter in her mind subsiding every time she pulled such a stunt, it only made her more anxious to try some more. This time, the female jumped with the aim to land on top of a tall pile of dirt on sight. She knew it would cushion her landing, however it did not do nearly as much as she had hopes and quickly found her legs being broken with the bones jutting out of her legs. With a scream of agony the young girl rolled down the pile of dirt and felt her body slip into shock. Her gaze watching herself and quickly took notice, that she had not once seen herself bleed until now. A thick blackened substance was leaking from her legs, or at least seeming to.
Her eyes watching in astonishment and horror as the black muck made its way back towards her and into her. Even the substance which should have been soaked into the pile of dirt had returned and quickly the pain subsided. Her eyes looking down at the bones and slowly she pushed them back into place, watching her body slowly rebuild itself. She sat in this spot for four hours after her fall, letting her body adjust until she finally gained the courage to stand up. Once up, she felt as though nothing had happened. Wasting no time, she ran over to one of her new 'friend's' house and began backing upon his door until he door opened. His gaze fell upon her with annoyance and being incredibly tired due to her banging at four in the morning, only for her to say she needed someone to talk to.
Not too long prior to her experimentation, the young man, Ravana, had asked Circa if she believed in demons and angels. If she believed there were more on the planet than just humans and at the time she argued that such was not possible for the girl had no idea of what she was. Ravana making some coffee and beginning to talk to his younger friend, heard out her story. At first he didn't believe her at all and she looked around his kitchen. Standing up she walked over to the counter where she grabbed a large knife and came back to the table. Without hesitation, she slammed the blade down on the center of her hand, cutting her palm in two and severing multiple bones. Such a thing would never be mend-able as a human. However, the man's eyes widened as he took note of the black fluid which dripped from her. His eyes looked up at her then back down as she pressed her hand's two halves together and it slowly healed, the blackened muck slowly seeping into the wound before fully healing. The young woman then wiggled her fingers to show she was completely fine. Rava's eyes remained on her before he stoof up and uttered a single word.
"Icker"
After a moment they spoke about what he meant as he explained it was a play on the Greek word of Ichor which was the blood of the gods. However, Icker was the defiled blood showing that one was sent from Hades himself. In other words a being of the under-realm and thus translated in other cultures as Demons. The girl only sat there and spoke to him for a long while until Ravana mentioned who he worked for. She had always wondered why he had so much money at such a young age and it was because he too was a demonic being. Or at least that is what he believed. He then explained to her about the saving they did for others who didn't deserve to be guinea pigs. Finally he invited her to join him for an expedition. She wasn't sure what it meant but she was more than happy to join his cause.
Being brought into Ravana's work place, the girl walked alongside him and began gaining her training to better understand at least partially what she did. However, when attempting to get a blood sample, the substance, the Icker, would eat away at any containment and return to Circa. Any attempt at harm to her was quickly healed but left some sort of scaring as though to remind her of what had happened. The girl didn't understand it at all until she found herself in a lab, strapped to a table. Ravana had fought for all he could too get the girl removed from the fascility but he couldn't as they attempted to test the girl's body. However,t his only turned out more wrong as she finally snapped from the surges of pain they had been putting her through. Eventually the black substance left from the girl's body in thick waves and began eating away at object and individuals alike. Once it ate away at everything that would stop her, she found herself in a panic she ran out of the room. Ravana had found her and was shocked at the sight before him.
The girl of blonde hair and blue eyes which he had known no longer had such and instead had green eyes and purple hair. Her skin had tanned over from the over-exposure to the corrupting force. She had wanted to be someone else during the entire experience of the room and that's what she got. She looked around and looked at Ravana with panic as he grabbed her hands and told her to breath, to think and calm down. To try to return to herself. She tried and tried and slowly such happened. Upon her desire, Circa began returning to her golden haired self. Soon she was back to normal and her once tattered clothes seemed to have cleaned themselves up. She looked up at the man and smiled before he hugged her and kissed her forehead. After a moment of them finally relaxing, sirens began to go off in the facility and Ravana turned to the young girl, telling her to try to change back to the other girl she had become. To hide herself in plain sight. There was no argument from Circa as she nodded in agreement and began concentrating on changing back into the tanned woman she was. It took a moment before she could but eventually she did. Ravana grabbed her hand and they both ran out of the area to be found by guards. Ravana lied to them and explained that the girl had escaped and he had no idea where she had been. When asked for her name, Circa quickly replied with the nickname she had been given. "Monstrua."
No longer having interest, after years, on what Circa was able to do. She pretended to be someone else and worked with the company which Ravana worked with. Why? For safety and amazing pay while saving those like herself. Lost and confused. The powers she held, according to record, was shape shifting and fast regeneration and thus bringing her to be one of the better agents they had. Such continued for many years to come. Since the girl barely aged, such didn't matter to her as others in the company didn't either, including Ravana. Eventually the pair of them, now much more mature at 50 years had passed, bringing circa to being 72 years of age, had become two of the most well trained being in the company and were handed a record to be part of the infiltration for a location called "Wonderland Asylum."
