Meditation
Wed Jan 21, 2015 6:01 am
Silence. The entire manor of the Vicara Plane queen was shrouded in it. Only slight creaks of the wooden style structure echoing throughout the hallways. At this point, the house was empty. The training area was split into portions, out the back of the large manor remained open ground, off about five hundred meters a tree-line where it thickened into forest. Sitting directly in the center of this training ground, Nami Asthavon, the Queen of the Vicara nation and sister to the Demon Queen, continued her silence through a form of meditation. Her outfit was that of a rather average black dress, stopping at her upper thighs. Her arms were free and exposed whilst her legs were covered in a pitch black, long reaching pair of stockings that had crosses of white lace at their top. She had no shoes on, thus the bottom of the stockings also covered her feet in pitch black fabric. Her legs were crossed as she sat upon a raised portion of the ground, sitting upon the circular like lump rather calmly, hands placed on either leg, resting them. Her mind was being cleansed as she sat there, she was letting her emotions loose, letting anything she felt and the tension in her body free from it's confinement.
Twisting her hands elegantly, her right would stretch up to a diagonally and then come back in, fluently flowing her arms to either side and stretching out her bones. The way she moved, and the emotionless face that she held during these motions proved that she was mostly acting on instinct and letting her body flow with what it wanted. Her bright yellow eyes were hidden behind the lids of her eyes, keeping the golden gaze hidden. A lot of things traveled through her mind as a result of this meditation, but it almost seemed like a haze that was being swept clean. For the most part, she had changed significantly since she was last present in some form of big event. During the Australian war of 2413, she had lost a portion of herself because of how much "damage" she took. It wasn't because she was, or rather she didn't want to accept, that she had been defeated and a portion of her being was taken away as a result, making her extremely unstable.
She had grown weaker upon her own will, as if her power remained strong without that "seal" placed upon her hand, she would be dead within moments. Thus it was something she needed to seal, it nearly drove her to death when this was first in effect. Atop of this, she lost Kana Asthavon. This portion of her power, also known as her God Of The Dragon Slayer, was abolished to make room for her stability. Kana, essentially, now didn't exist. Tsubasa Unabara had given her a rather amazing fight that drove her to this point, weakened and having to be torn away from the fight by Khala Asthavon. Never the less, Nami believed in herself. Changing her moniker from Dragon Slayer to her original name of Nami was a big step for her. For hundreds of thousands of years, she had the title of Dragon Slayer and many people feared her because of this title. And now, it was thrown to the curb. Destroyed and ridiculed by herself as a former being not worth of existence.
Since coming back to Demon World, the past year had been spent doing largely what she was doing currently. Her personality generally remained the same, she still found peace in silence and despised those whom would take that silence away. Focusing on her breathing rather heavily, she took a deep breathe in and held it for a moment, then blew out the air before opening her eyes - revealing her golden shine to the world around her.
With the flicker of a golden light, she stood up rather slowly, looked at her surroundings as a golden edged sword appeared in her right hand. Without even swinging the blade, her eyes focused on a group of trees in the distance. Within a moments notice, thin blue wires slang out and twirled through the air, wrapping around a few trees and slicing into them, quickly slicing them up and carving shapes. The shapes that were carved into the core of the trees were in three forms - that of a horse, one of a house and the other completely removed. Even looking around at the trees in the distance, one could see many other shapes also carved into them - showing she had done this quite a bit, looking at trees being carved into to create sculptures. She had grown rather patient with herself over the past year, and she looked to understand herself as not a demon or an Asthavon, but as a living creature.
Shifting her gaze over her shoulder, her light dress blew with the breeze slightly - her pitch black hair blowing in unison with it. "I think I'll use the hot spring." She had a lot of thoughts going through her mind, and due to the fact that rarely anyone came up to this house, it was a good place for to relax. She wouldn't have minded if someone came up, as she wanted to learn how to be comfortable around people, she was a changing person. It just depending what others wanted. She hadn't seen her family in a while which actually made her nervous, she knew Mana wouldn't mind; but she couldn't speak for the rest of the family. They were handling a lot of things - the way they kept in contact was usually through business. At this point, to Nami, it didn't feel like a family. Just a organization working together under the same name. Sighing, she saw the wooden-designed manor and let out a small smile. This was home. She didn't have a worry in the world here. She was rather calm here, at peace, more or less.
