Valentine's Aftermath (Naia and James ONLY)

2413 - February 15^th

James had always hated Valentine's day. It was one of the many holidays he found to be utterly useless. That aside, he still found himself wandering through bramble and brush to apologize to her. Not to say he loved her, though he may have found himself to be a tad fond of her... But you see, these were things James was not quite ready to confront. Even that aside, Naia's house was a long walk for James, though he did always enjoy himself when he was there. Naia always had some crazy new plant she could make tea out of, and speaking of which, that was exactly why she had invited him over today. James smiled at the thought of seeing his close friend. His only friend, really. He had trouble making friends with others. Perhaps he just didn't see the use. James rounded a rather large tree as he made his way slowly up the slightly muddy hill path he'd trodden to her house so many times. Finally arriving at her doorstep, he knocked, not realizing that when Naia opened this door, she'd probably be highly pissed at him for skipping out on her for the past week. His face drained of color.
