Visiting a Sibling at his School

(Time Section 2)

At the middle school in Karakura, a boy whom many knew as Paul Herman. Although he was foreign compared to the average, he was a regular because of his older sister. But what made him curious as to why his grandfather and his father were killed and why his sister took him and his mother to Karakura City. His grades are good and he was doing his homework while his mother was well cared for by his older sister, who often kept many secrets from him. He felt mistrusted by his sister and wanted to know why or at least know why his sister was taking so much precaution while often times disappeared during his half-days of school.

It was on recess that Paul was outside with his friends. Unknowingly to him, his sister has just entered through a portal onto the roof that overlooks the playground. She was not alone as always, Tina watched her little brother with his friends. With her mask on, it is hard to tell that she was here to watch over him or to find out that her little brother was doing something wrong. The breathing was calm, but her aura was scornful. In the past, she received a letter from the principal that her little brother was doing magic tricks during recess and even he was surprised of his talent. To Tina, it was a violation to a secret rule; never to show any hint of magic related to the Tal’Vohla Family. Typically, there are other forms of magic, so Tina cannot just intervene over pulling a rabbit out of a hat.

(Tina) “Mi’Lady, that boy over there. Pale skin, pale blond hair, easy to spot of all the dark hairs. He is my little brother. Paul Tal’Vohla. If I was thought right, Paul should be showing evidence of using a reiatsu signature precisely similar to my own. That will be the use of the Tal’Vohlan Seal Summoning. If we detected it, we have to intervene and you will have to put the observers to sleep and ‘mend’ their memories. Got it?”

Kinoen stepped out of the senkaimon, cracking his neck slightly as he walked casually towards the High School. He didn't really like Karakura, and that was apparent on his face as he breathed in the air. He knew what he was here for, but a quick detour to watch the school for signs of spiritual pressure wasn't technically against his current objective, just a bit of a detour.

His gigai's jeans were unnaturally tight, just like his gigai. It only makes sense that the twelfth division would've given him one too small, if only for their own amusement.

He stretched his black tank top slightly, checking to make sure no one was watching before quickly shunpoing onto the roof, surprised to see that other people were there!

"Who are you, what is your business here. Names, Races, and Ranks. If you don't mind." Kinoen said with eyes squinted, in a rather demanding tone.

Tina heard someone landed on the roof behind her. Knowing that she is alone, she would not have a chance in a straight fight. Judging by the feeling of the spiritual energy, it is a spirit but...

(Kinoen) "Who are you, what is your business here. Names, Races, and Ranks. If you don't mind."

Definitely a shinigami. Tina stood there overlooking the playground. She hates Shinigami for their responsibility in killing her grandfather, the one who survived the third extinction of the Tal'Vohla Family. With Lady Miko watching over her and her family, Tina has bitter enmity against those sword jocks.

(Tina) "For a pawn like you, I will not answer for your barbaric mind will serve no purpose in what you inquired. Shinigami are alike as they save souls and kill their allies. Dismiss now since your one-yen service is not needed."

Kinoen scowled at the woman, "Pawn? Coming here was my choice, I'm supposed to be doing something." He looked around suspiciously, "I'll have you know.." He didn't get to finish for that was when the second figure showed up, making Kinoen jump a little.

He grinned as the new girl spoke to him, "Information? My name is Kinoen Luesen, Vice-captain of 9th division." Kinoen smiled as he spoke, "What will it be? Well it looks like you're getting ready to fight, so let's go with that." Kinoen smirked widely, "This is going to be fun." he thought.

(Kinoen) “Pawn? Coming here was my choice, I’m supposed to be doing something.”

Tina not fazed by the response and even in front of Lady Miko, he persisted to remain when Tina clearly stated that he is not needed.

(Miko) “It’s alright....I’ll handle this...you go and find your brother...”

(Tina) “I can see him clearly, I came here to assure that he is not doing something that he would regret later on.”

(Kinoen) “Information? My name is Kinoen Luesen, Vice-captain of 9th division. What will it be? What will it be? Well it looks like you’re getting ready to fight, so let’s go with that.”

(Tina) “As for you, Barbarian. Your approach is meaningless as we hardly have any reason to resort to endangering the children around here. I believed you are trying to sound tough when you are just weak on the inside. As a Shinigami, you are disallowed to harm a human being, yet...you are willing to attack when we’re standing on a roof of a public school...on a school day. Unsheathed your zanpakuto and you gave us warrants to respond and arrest you for endangering the lives of hundreds. Want that responsibility pressed upon your division? Mi’Lady. If he persisted, we will have no choice, but to notify the clan about this violation.”

Tina has a keen knowledge about what is needed to know before her appointment as the Hybrid Iramasha Assistant for Lady Miko. Ever since the appointment, Tina was preoccupied with experiments with her summoning capability and studying useful subjects like the laws set by General Yamamoto. Personally, she felt that Lady Miko was her only sister as they frequently meet each other, although half of the time, Felix or Flit are the ones who bumped into her while on an errand.

Right there before her eyes, Tina noticed her little brother, Paul was in trouble with a bully and he was pushed down to the ground. The bully lunged to beat on him for messing with his girl, whom she has no involvement with that bully. However, Paul held out his hand and shouted, “REPEL!” That incantation alone ringed into Tina’s ears as she witnessed the bully being pushed away a few feet before laying on the ground, stunned by magic.

(Tina) “Mi’Lady. I’ll be going to get the boy, be sure to have the others perform a memory cleanse so the other children did not know what happened. Barbarian, do not get in the way or we will file a complaint to your commanding captain about your unwarranted interference in our affairs.”

Tina walked to the other end of the roof where Paul could be the closest. She pulled out her baton and access her sixth seal summoning diagram above her head before a portal appears before her outstretched free-hand. She lowered her baton and reached into the portal. Like a kidnapping, Tina pulled Paul through the portal and tugged him along with her.

(Tina) “What in Grandfather’s Grave are you thinking!? Huh!?”

(Paul) “Sister Tina!”

Tina tossed Paul to the floor aggressively. Paul whimpered at the pain he received from his only sister.

(Tina) “Fool! We have a damn kinslayer here and you’re going to freely expose our relations!? Not only that, you exposed yourself as one of the family! What did I say about using powers!?”

(Paul) “N-Not to use them! I-I know! It was on accident! I panicked!”

Tina grabbed Paul by his collar and lifted onto his feet. Paul was close to crying.

(Tina) “I was lucky to have the power to protect and yet you are not making it easy for me! If that repel was any stronger, any enemy will detect it and come here!”

(Paul) “I’M SORRY!”

"...." Miko, watched as Tina went to go over to her little brother, Paul. She looked back at Kinoen. "Fight...? you seem to have me mistaken, i do not wish to fight with you, for one thing, it would be pointless...Not only that the gap between our power's are two totally different stages..." She said, her eyes were cold and they didn't show any emotion, they stay locked on the Shinigami. "However...if you do want to fight me...then know this..." she walked towards him a bit. Her Reaitsu was beginning to flare up, with red and black outlines. "I will break your soul asunder, and destroy your life...with no second thought..." her cold look turned into a glare. "Now...do you wanna go through that? i'm civil, and i do enjoy the shinigami, however i won't let them meddle in affairs, that don't need to be meddled with.." she gripped the air a bit and moved her hand around. "Now...Choose your path..." she said as she looked at him, while awaiting or Tina to handle her own business.

Kinoen glared down the woman in front of him, his orange reiatsu flowing strong around him, "My path was chosen from the moment I entered this area." He growled, his cat-like teeth showing plainly, "I fight. And as for the gap in our power, or you destroying me, it's not happening." Kinoen grins confidently, flexing his hands in claw-like motions before pulling back into a battle stance, cracking his neck and smirking, "Your move."

(Tina) "Mi'Lady. We're done here. Guard me, I have a better plan for the likes of him. Are you interested in matter that requires your caliber of proficiency? There is a woman who ran away from her father and her father wanted her back. However, I have known that an average bounty hunter would fail at their best, but for a powerful Shinigami in the matter, you can change that fortune without an issue."

Tina twirled her baton in the summoned diagram. Even if Kinoen happen to disagree, Tina held her baton in Miko's path, preventing her from fighting. To any warrior, that is a gesture of a better plan being made.

(Tina) "I want you to look after the dog boy and a human woman located on top of the rooftop ahead of your drop zone. Treat the woman as someone you have to protect while treating the dog boy as an ally. When you see Hollows, lead them to Osaka to a mansion called the Shikijou Mansion. Once you meet the butler, sigh with relief and you'll be freed from that responsibility. The Shikijou Mansion is the safest place that the woman can be in, no matter her objections. Know this, take this portal and there will be no turning back once the first Hollow appears. Tell the dog boy that scary lady is helping him with his bounty hunter problem. I'll give you more instructions later on from then. Now go and enjoy your vacation. I'll send words to your superiors that you're in Iramasha-related affairs and should not interfere. Mi'Lady, be gentle when guiding our new friend onto the right path."

The portal appears behind Kinoen as Tina lowered her baton to allow Miko to force him into the portal if Kinoen refuses.

(Kinoen Only) Onto the nearby building's rooftop that the portal drops Kinoen on. Onto a new path.
