Reasons For Upgrading: HIghly active as Romulus is, now apart of more then a half dozen on going threads and quickly rising in stature while continuing to contribute to consistent RP on this site, his current conflict (With moonie) has brought him to an interesting turn point, and a new level is needed to progress up the mountain.
What Are You Upgrading: Unlocking Bankai. His Bankai abilities would list as follows.

he Appearance of the sword does not change much, save for the base of the blade nearest the hilt now featuring 3-Large Spheres engraved into it.

» Bankai Abilities:In it's Bankai state the sword's Absorption Rate spikes exponentionally and it's in a constant state of Electromagnetic Dynamism. This is represented by the 1st-Red Sphere which glows at a constant. Furthermore, Romulus' body undergoes a change as well. His skin, Skeleton and muscles all become extremly dense, and metallic, in truth---he takes BECOMES his Zanpaktou. With his entire body now boasting extreme musculature, while harnessing the increasing energy created by converting ambient matter, his Attributes spike significantly. His speed, strength, endurance, durability and powers all incline as a result.

The Second Sphere represents the Bankai'-States limited control over gravity. It's Yellow In coloration, and when active, represents Romulus' current influence over the fundamental force be it to increase it, or lessen it in his immediate area. More specifically, Romulus will increase or decrease the Gravitational prominence within his area to HASTEN or SLOW the approach of objects on his being, OR, hasten or slow his own movements as needed. He can also utilize these abilities in direction. He can pull objects toward him, or send objects away from him at pace. HE can also drastically increase the force of his blows by increasing the gravitational pull on his weapon while swinging it. By Touching an object he can also increase the gravitational pull on an object or person making it hard to move if not outright immovable.

The Third and Final Sphere represents "Force". This sphere represents the Bankai State to exert immense shock-waves. Be it by swinging his sword or physical attacks, Romulus can exert immense shockwaves of pure force, the likes of which having substantial power and intensity behind them. By touching the ground he can exert enough force to create a localized Seismic event (On part with a 9.0 Earthquake or greater, In the World of the Living, Romulus has seperated entire tectonic plates with this power.), or by punching the air in front of him, create an outstanding pressure wave sufficient enough to topple buildings or mountains even at it's greatest effect. By placing his hands ON a person he can impart enough raw force to break every bone in their body and send them flying for miles on end.

[Drawbacks] - Only 1 of the Spheres can be active at a time, with a 1 turn cool down between switching from one sphere to another and using that spheres ability.]

Denied

None of the threads you are currently part of have been finished, in conjunction there's been no real thread dedicated to bonding with the Zanpakutō or anything of the sort. Ichigo, the fastest Bankai in history canonically, still had a three day "Fight his Zanpakutō" thing. I haven't seen anything like that, it's not like going Super Saiyan.

So Denied for now.
