The Poet's Investigation: Eldrazi [SOLO]
Thu Oct 23, 2014 8:02 pm
"....A dystopia..."
The words left the lips of the male, the breath letting off in what used to be cold European air as he beheld the terrific landmass hanging high in the air. He beheld it, that capital, and for the briefest of moments considered immediate penetration. However, his cloak instead billowed as his back turned to that land mass, his footsteps beginning to take him as he began to walk away from his final spot on this journey...
And so his feet carried him to his first destination. "..." He was silent as he viewed the buildings before him. His eyes narrowed, and his left began to slowly close while his right began to open. And what he saw...? "...What...?" Was the only word that came from his lips as he opened his right eye all the way, his left following as both comfortably looked outwards from himself, the pupils narrowing. "...An... ocean...? What..? Where's...?" And the voice slowly died in his throat, before suddenly a strange energy appeared on his right shoulder, before violently slamming into the right side of his face...
And he was thrown to the ground, looking like a beggar who had collapsed from exhaustion. "...That... is dangerous..." The male muttered to himself as he rubbed the right eye once more, before standing up straight. "I'll... Check somewhere... else..." The male turned back around once more, and his body vanished in another flowing spill of blue particles, leaving from that place...
"Gah..." The male let out, facing down on the ground once more. "What is... this...?" He muttered, before finally binding a kneckerchief around his right eye, acting as if it had been removed before he went to the exits of the country, its....borders.......?
"...This is.... A prison... cell..."
The male let out, as he fell to his knees for a brief moment. The terminal was working, yes... but there was no traffic. Absolutely none. ...Where's the dissent? Where's the need for others...? Where... where is the purpose... of so many... people...? These thoughts and others swam through the Poet's mind, the ocean of his thoughts slowly dripping from his consciousness.
"...Well.. I found somewhere to rest, at least..." The male muttered as he fell back against a bench, gripping both sides of his head. "...That... is that Utopia...? A place where no one suffers, where all dreams... come true...? Where all people... can be perfect, if they just want to...? Where conflict...?" And as he began speaking those words, he heard a strange splatting noise... and looked down... to see blood coming down from his right arm.
"... You want that, hmm...? My emotiosn... They're proper. Invoking... the Poet's Index." The male muttered, before his hands reached out in front of himself... and a script began appearing in the air.
The Prison
The neighbor laughs,
but does not cry.
He knows what crying is;
cut into mind... like rye.
Never to raise a fist...
No cold from the heath;
No cold grasp of death.
The prisoners in their cage...
Do not even know their rage.
Divorced from hate;
They suffocate.
They complicate
And bifurcate
Their own wants
So what once
Was love
And hate
Know not the other
Each man... without brother.
And so he continued to stare at the ground, before pulling the cloth from his head, discarding it. "...Their souls... are like a swath... lukewarm... purpose all the same. There is no difference. There is no ability to appreciate what they have. There is no love... and without love, what is missing cannot be seen. Ugh..." He gripped his head with a hand, as if having a migraine, before his thoughts returned once more. Without love, it can't be seen? Then are you sure you see everything about Khala correctly? The voice asked him... to which he could only groan frustration at in reply.
"...Even in K-World... they wanted to be in war. They were lookign forwards... Here... satisfaction is necessary to survival. I cannot... even think what would happen... to someone who was not satisfied. They... would be eradicated due to dividing that one differing opinion by infinity... into nothingness... Or I'm rambling. But regardless, this place does not... sit well with me. I think... I'd rather die, then spend an eternity in a place where I need to have difficulty and happiness explained to me."
Finally, his thoughts ended once more, and the archive entry with his thoughts was absorbed into that right arm of his, glowing blue for a moment as it held within it the exact thoughts he held towards this place. "...Guess I have to find her, after all... That founder... Nozomi... ... why would you want to make utopia...? Did you do it... simply because you felt that you could...? What's the point... of gaining a society... if you lose... humanity...?"

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.
