In the outskirts of the congregation of humans, there was a little shop that turned cool things into other cool things, and gave away cool things in exchange for strange slips of paper. Or at least, that was what the child known as Desalmado knew. He came to this store after he heard a rumour that this place could turn inedible things like rocks into candy! So, he was here today with a light sack of pebbles and shells he found on some place with an endless span of sand paired with an endless span of sea met, called a beach by most humans. Of course, how would someone like him know of such a thing? He came from the land of endless sand, no water, and eternal night. There was no way a child like him would understand this human world's way of life.

Because this was the outskirts, the shop was strangely metallic and shiny against the rubble around it. He took the time to circle the shop out of curiosity, looking for some way in so that he could ask for this sack of pebbles to turn into a sack of candy. He jumped to try and reach windows, attempting to peer in even though it didn't quite work that way. He couldn't see anything magical about it, it even seemed somewhat dusty and empty. He quietly continued to lurk around, his curious silver eyes poking to try and find whatever holes could be found.

Finally, however, he was quick to discover a small crack. In surprise, the young arrancar tried to peek through the crack, through it did not work quite as well as he wanted it to. He tried to push at the crack, but that didn't work either. Staring up at a piece of metal jutting out from the rectanguar-shaped crack, he had a stunning idea. Maybe it was a button? He pushed it a few times with no avail. Sighing and getting somewhat frustrated, he grabbed the metal object and pulled, thinking that if he pulled hard enough perhaps the door could come off. Instead, it swung open and revealed an opening. He quickly scampered in before the door shut behind him.

This place did not seem so magical. The little arrancar clutched at his bag of stones with sleeved hands, looking around for a sign of life. Surely someone had to be here. He began to look around at the strange objects here. There were things kept in bottles, things kept on racks, things covered in dust... He reached over to try and touch one, albeit before he managed to do so he sneezed due to the dust. Since he didn't watch where he was going, he tripped over a stool as he tried to turn away and fell with a gentle 'oof!' to the floor, which cycled up more dust and therefore more sneezing.

"Well, aren't you useless?" Nikilo Flamme asked from behind the counter. Pushing away his cake (half-eaten on a dusty plate), he stood up from behind the counter. Walking out from behind the wooden exchange center, his bare feet padded along the wooden surface layered with dust. Weaving in and out of the many piles of seeming junk, he stood over the boy. "You're lucky you didn't touch that. It would have exploded, sending much shrapnel into your lungs." His german accent was quite thick, and very distinguished. Wiping his crumb and frosting stained lips with the back of his hand, he sighed. Shoving his hands deep into the pockets of his pants, he scratched the back of his left leg with the toe-nails on his right.

"What do you have there?" He asked, pointing to the bag clutched in the boy's hand. "Look kid, if you aren't going to buy stuff...get out." Sure, he was mean, but... He was Nikilo Flamme, one of the most accomplished Null, and arguably the best transmutationist and potion master. If he felt the need, he could turn this boy's bones into hydrogen. Who wanted that?

Desalmado looked up from the floor and quickly got up, dusting off his clothing and grinning at the man, his eyes gaining an almost disturbingly happy smile, albeit without malice nor evil intentions. Just a child who enjoyed life a little too much. "What sh..sh..shraapnnnel?" He asked, trying to articulate the unfamiliar word, asking what it meant (albeit understanding him was a totally different manner). He still smiled at the man's words. He didn't understand what 'buy' meant, but he assumed it meant to turn things into other things. Of course, he himself couldn't do it but he was very willing to ask this man to!

He flashed his all-too-wide grin again before picking up his fallen pouch of pebbles and shells, thrusting it in front of the man. "Candy?" He asked happily, dropping it on the counter before sitting back down on the dirt and hugging closely his own blade with sleeves too long, covering his hands with what was once medical white cloth. He smiled contentedly up at the man, wondering if he would do it... well of course he would! That was what his job was! or... at least, that was what he knew a job was- to do something for many hours and many days and he didn't think the adults received anything in return; he had never seen an adult getting anything out of their 'job' so he assumed it was always for fun!

Oh, where were his manners. He spoke again in his excited and expectant manner. "Candy Pel... pl... pr..." He took a moment to speak the unfamiliar word, the concept of needing manners was still new to him, learned only after he has seen adults doing the same for so many years. "Pel... pel...pr..." He stumbled for a moment, then he let out a snort of giving up. "Candy thank you!" He spoke. After all, please and thank you were the same things, right?

Nikilo sighed. A simpleton. How drole. Well, if he was in the shop, he must have a need for Nikilo Flamme. As the boy stumbled around with words, and shoved the dirty bag before him, he grabbed it. Studying it closely and piecing together what the boy wanted, he sighed once more. Ignoring the question as to what shrapnel was, he looked the boy in the eye as he answered. "It is true that I can change certain minerals into other minerals, and the sodium in these rocks can easily be changed into sucrose. However, it still requires payment." Getting only a blank look from the boy again, he decided to explain further. "Which means in order for me to turn this into candy, I require something in exchange."

His voice echoed in the nearly-empty shop, bouncing off hunks of steel and various bookshelves. "So then, do you have something you can give to me in exchange for...candy?" He asked, the dark rings under his eyes giving his smile a ... malicious quality to it. If this boy really wanted candy, maybe he could use him to gather minerals or something that was too dangerous for Jamie and himself to do...

The boy stared in confusion. Oh, maybe that was why adults always did things. Perhaps it was like an exchange for the man definitely wasn't going to give him any candy if she didn't do something. He patted at his clothing, wondering what he could offer. It could be like a game! He wondered quietly. Well he needed his shirt, his blade, his pants... he really had nothing else to offer. With a small pout on his face, he finally offered one word. "Work?" He asked contentedly, knowing that some adults used it as a kind of exchange for things like food. He smiled contentedly.

"Work ok?" He asked, not knowing quite what he would do since he was a child and from heuco mundo- the young arrancar simply didn't know how to deal with the concept of paying for simple treats like candy. No one ever paid for sunlight, color, and the warmth of this world. Why would anyone pay for simple pleasures such as candy? He shook his head in slight disbelief but remained resolute. After all, whatever the man decided surely couldn't be that bad. A bit of running around and he'd have his candy in no time, right?

Nikilo was first and foremost a scientist. He enjoyed studying every species. He enjoyed studying their very cells. Perhaps this boy could be useful. He felt an immense Reiatsu from him, regardless of his demeanor. That could be trouble. Lazily strolling behind his desk, Nikilo smiled at Des while grabbing a vial of a sickly green liquid that was on the shelf under the cash register. Popping open the cork stopper with a thumb-nail, the scent of mint filled the air as green smoke wafted from the tube. Strolling back over to Des, he handed it to the boy.
"Drink this, and then we can begin your work."

((Please Note, this is the Inhibitor Potion Mark III. After you drink it, you will lose the ability to use your powers completely for one hour. This is your choice to drink, and yours only.))

Desalmado very happily took the drink and dumped it into his system contentedly, after all, what would a mint-smelling drink do? Except, a sickly feeling washed over him and he fell to his knees as the potion did its work on the cells of his body. He let out a soft groan at the unexpected and suddenly nauseous feeling that overcame him. He felt bile rise up into his throat and he closed his eyes, shaking his head. He could not keep this strange concoction down, it was doing something to his body and his body reacted violently in return. He shuddered harshly, his body screaming against this horrific drink.

Not surprisingly, he threw up onto the floor of the shop and collapsed to the side of the puddle of green he had made. He then carefully sat up once he felt feeling in his limbs again, noticing something strange. He felt... relatively human again. Curious, he opened his palm and moved his fingers around. He had no sense of blood in his veins, which was strange for him, a blood user. He tried to concentrate reiatsu, causing an apple sized ball of dark red to appear in his hand before fizzling out. He was confused and stared at the stranger with a look of clear confusion.

"Why? Drink did this?" He asked, curious and somewhat scared. What kinda work took away his abilities, things that had been imbued into his very spirit and he had accepted as just a part of reality? To the child, it was like everything he knew in the world had been stolen in one horrific moment.

Nikilo smiled slightly, before telling Des to wait there. Walking to the closet and grabbing a mop, he wiped away the puke. Now was the fun part. Grabbing Des' hand, he dragged him to the back of the shop. The usually locked door was unlocked quickly by a set of keys tied to Nikilo's wrist, and the door swung open. Pushing Des inside, he too entered the room. Shutting the door and locking it once more, he flicked the lights on. Bright, fluorescent lights revealed a very contrasting shop compared to his original shop. Sleek, black steel work-tables and chairs covered the expanse, as did many benches filled with odd looking tools. Dragging Des by the hand along the black tiled floor, he told him to sit in a very uncomfortable looking chair.

"Now then, boy.. I am going to be removing your fingernails and implanting special titanium ones. These fingernails will have several abilities that I think will be to your liking. Now then, give me your hand." For when he sat down across the table, of course he let go of the hand. Grabbing a pair of pliers, he waited patiently for Des to stretch over his hand.

It only took a moment for the potion's other effects to pop up as well, unfortunately for Desalmado, it not only took away his abilities but it forced him into a state of his full power. As he was dragged along, it only took a moment with a small explosion of reiatsu, a man stood with his once-too-large clothing now fitting him perfectly. A very confused man was dragged into the back of the shop, staring at the man with silver eyes that showed nothing but distrust. "Extend my hand? To you?" He spoke, his voice harsh from all the years in the sand. He quickly jerked his hand away, sighing to himself as he pressed a hand to his forehead, forcing himself to remember the last few moments before he was forced to his state.

Alright, so he was told to drink something, and he drank it, and then it canceled Aizen's modifications on his biology as well as canceled his blood and reiatsu. "You. Explain what you had me drink." He spoke with a growl, reaching for his blade that now fit his size just fine. He spoke, a threatening edge to his voice. "And what are the abilities you mentioned?" He questioned again, his silver eyes distrustful and he did not sit in but instead walked beside the chair, turning to face the stranger.

"Explain. Now." He spoke harshly. "You'll find I am not as stupid as I am when younger." He growled, unsheathing his sword by only an inch as a warning that he was ready to fight his way out of it was necessary, for his ability to just sonido his way through the walls had been taken away... this moment was oddly so much like how he was in the past when he was younger, strapped to beds and tubes of liquid shoved down his throat with untested medication that often made him nauseous and weak. Except that he was once again becoming someone's science experiment and he was not going to sit down and let it happen.

Of course, the stranger might have a few questions, like how he was suddenly older, or the sudden change in demeanor... if only he could find some place to be alone for a day or two to revert to the self that he should be. Unfortunately for him, this potion forced him once again to become his true self and he didn't know how long it would last for. Although interested in the special ones the stranger mentioned, Desalmado wanted a full explanation before he even sat in the chair.

Nikilo will admit, he was slightly taken back. The potion must have been slightly faulty for the man to still be able to transform. Nonetheless, he could practically feel the man's powers become dormant. He would be no problem to him. Explaining the full story on how he wandered in, wanted candy, and etc, he began explaining his newest experiment. "Well, you see... I want to test artificial enhancements, and if I screw up my hands, than I will be useless. You wandered in here, and I knew at that moment that I could test my theories." He began, his accent filling the room and making it slightly difficult to understand the alchemist. Flipping his black hair out of his eyes with a dusty hand, he continued.

"What I was planning on doing was removing your fingernails and replacing them with these." Presenting a case to the man, it had a transparent cover. Inside, sitting on red satin, was 10 claw-like snippets of titanium. Inscribed on the top of each claw were several special sigils. "When you speak the word "Burst" and focus your reiatsu into them, a harsh electricity will spring up around them, giving you a shockingly powerful and deceitful weapon." He explained, before sneering at the sword. "Get that out of my face before I turn it into hydrogen." He warned, before standing up quickly. Pulling out a simple tube from his pocket, he charged it with reiatsu.

Instantly, the seele shneider came to life, buzzing in his hand with immense power. The black blade sizzled with every movement. "Threaten me again, and I will carve you like a turkey." He explained, sliding the box across the table. "Now than..what do you say... Also, for a fee afterwords, I can enhance these claws to have other effects too." His eyebrows raised as if confirming his words.
