The pulsation of another violent energy within the vicinity was all that was needed to put Cirno and The Elite Forces of the Iramasha Guard on their toes. The second that the first trace of Moonie's violent energy smashed against the battlefield, the numerous members of the Iramasha Guard reacted by placing incrinate shields around their bodies. They were multi-layered and complex in nature due to the fact that they were being powered by the Master Gem and Cirno's energy. Therefore, it was safe to assume that many of these forces were able to endure the first wave of attacks from The Moon God.
In spite of that, some of the barriers were able to be shattered and resulted in the injuries of a few warriors on the field. Broken bones, burns, wounds and copious amounts of blood lost were the common signs of damage inflicted on the individual's body as they dispersed throughout the field. Roughly twenty percent of the fighting force sustained injuries from this impact; so they were more than acceptable losses for Cirno to cope with for the time being.
Those that were deemed ill fit to fight were immediately Chaos Warp'd out of the area and towards the innermost parts of Iramasha Island. There, the group of fighters who were critically injured would be tended to by Iramasha Medical professionals. So, with that objective taken care of, Cirno decided that they needed to keep their distance from this fight and only those who were deemed at Captain level were to stand by her side. The extra reinforcements were weighing her down at this point and proved to be collateral damage in a battle against these giants.
Henceforth, to try and protect, even at a distance, they would be connected through a series of intricate spiritual bonds, akin to network cables, and harmonized ready to share their strengths when their superior needed them or to share intel with one another. As a result, there would only remain a handful of General Iramasha who were by her side at this point. Each of them were at the power that was on par with a rookie Captain at best. The majority of the forces backed off and gained distance over a ten mile area to get away from the damage zone.
Gazing upon the golden haired men, Cirno's eyes seem to light up with a fear. She understood just who this person was through a sense of familiarity with his energy. With the way his energy's frequency felt, there was one Iramasha who gave off this aura: Moonie Iramasha.
Flashing back to memories of Australia, she'd recall that The Hound Iramasha was present when Shisome had been placed into a coma by her actions. Yes, the very action that laid claim to the former Vanguard Leader's life almost. So it was understandable that she'd want to settle this on her own at this point. There were too many personal ties to that conflict to really let anyone else get dragged into that decrepit battle that occurred in the dunes of Australia. It drove nearly everyone who participated in that fight to the edges of their sanity.
There was no way that The Angel wanted a repeat of that horrible day. So remembering that fact well, Cirno ordered the remaining soldiers to spread out across a large distance and protect their brethren from getting caught up in this bout. This was going to be between her -- and Moonie. She'd see to that fact no matter what.
Once they were out of the picture altogether, all Cirno could do was wash over the one jovial and humorous expressions she had and turn into a focus driven look. On cue with this shift in her persona, the anchor around her broke and shattered like ash in the wind as it seemed that the time for childish games had long since passed. By the time Moonie's freezing force hit the lands, The Snow Fairy was more than on guard to bare the weight of his power. Her eyes hardened like ice, wings tensed up like rigid muscles and heart-rate accelerated in response to this adrenaline hitting her like a ton of bricks. Even her Chaos Energy's aura flared up around her in a burst of raging blue and white light.
The childs body and mind were too durable for this level of energy to easily do her in, but it didn't make things easier with the additional threat of Eric looming over them. It felt like she was being smothered outright, yet her spirit would more than be up to the challenge to endure the threat set before her. No matter if Cirno was just a pothole in the road against these two, she'd be ONE STEEP pothole to get through. If nothing else, by fighting against this fate, she can at least have comfort in the fact -- she tried. And that is all a person can really hope to do in these circumstances; despite Cirno herself yearning for more herself.
After reaffirming herself as the strongest Iramasha within her mind as a coping mechanism to deal with this event taking place, she'd stand tall and refuse to be crushed by this gravitational force. Sensing that the earth around them was being pulled towards Moonie's direction, it wasn't difficult for her to out maneuver this by Chaos Warping clear out of the target range of this assault. Once she was given some room to talk, her eyes fixated on Moonie and she hollered out these words to him:
"Stronger than you? Is that what YOU call being strong? Is THAT what you call strength?! Beating the tar out of people who did nothing to you?! That isn't being strong, that is just being a jerk who abuses his power! A bigger baka than The King of Baka's over there!"
Yelling out of anger for the potential of Moonie's attack harming the innocent civilians of Iramashsa Island, and those whom she considered her friends and allies in the Iramashsa Guard, Cirno's voice was very upset with what had occurred. However, there wouldn't be time for additional exchanges. This battle was moving like a high-speed train and there wasn't time for any stops. Seeing an opening for an attack, Cirno directed a hellstorm of silver spears to rain down upon Eric and Kyokotsu while he was being attacked by Moonie. They totalled up to three hundred in number and were infused with her ice element to further pierce through his weakened defenses. In this way, the injuries would stack on Eric and push him closer towards being pushed out of this fight altogether. They were also rich with holy energy collected from The Iramasha Guardian's shrine and could prove to be potent enough to potentially even knock Kyokotsu out with enough hits. With the amount of angelic energy already in the air, the weakness within their bodies should begin to accelerate at this point.
So having dealt with The Mad One for the time being, this battle began moving like clockwork and the clock ticked towards The Moon God. Shockwaves from Moonie's teeth were all but coming to claim her life. So The Snow Iramasha rose to the task at hand and roared out in her defiance against this force. Summoning a good deal of her own Chaos Energy, the determination generating within the Ice Child was at a high point now having being forced into such a critical situation so suddenly. Therefore, her own body reacted by generating a strong enough shockwave to negate both her own and Moonie's to save herself, and potentially even Eric, from being harmed by it.
Still not having time to process things, this battle was moving fast. Already there was a force attempting to outright obliterate, crush and reduce The Angel Iramasha into a fine ash. Eyes widening out of surprise and shock, a burst of red vines appeared in the sclera of her eyes as her durability was being tested. Snarling herself out of distaste for such a thing, Cirno was going to prove that she was not something to just be passed through. Therefore, her body resisted this force by amplifying its already dense and hardened structure. This was made possible by her Chaos Energy condensing alongside her internal and external structure through her ice powers.
In other words: this alteration to her body was enough to not outright get herself killed. There was certainly enough pain to make her vision blurred and embodiment filled with pain, but she was no stranger to having to utilize pain suppression. Indeed, her durability may not have been Grand Master, but she did possess a sense of defense that was on par with an Arrancar's Master Hierro. So having withstood that, all that she could focus on was Moonie and navigating through this harsh battlefield. Everything else would just have to be dealt with after she reached a safe point. There was no other alternative to be had.
Ergo, as the flares of hell itself starting raining down like a neverending storm, Cirno had no choice but to retaliate in the same matter. Augmenting the strength of her ice through her chaos energy and spiritual power pulsating to a high point, Cirno brought forth her own torrential downpour of pure cold. A chill so harsh that it was considered on par with absolute zero and able to nullify a majority of the attacks within contained zones in the airs above them. Being that these fire creations had to explode on impact against something, all of Cirno's cold burst solidified themselves into ice form and provided as a wall between her and the flames. Any leftover pockets would be tethered to her chaos energy and warp'd into the rivers somewhere within the Rukongai to dissipate and die out.
"CAAAAAAH!"In a painful gasp of breath, it seemed not all went as planned. The Berserker still seemed intent on making his gravity manipulation hit its mark. Around the second time he started using this power, blood started to vomit from Cirno's mouth due to the pressure starting to crush her internals. Her body was beginning to feel some of the effects from his assault, but in no way was she going to back down now. Thrusting her power upwards, she further increased the density of her body. This was made possible by outright infusing with her willpower into her energy to outright repeal and force the attack away and out of her. Utilizing it as an excess source of energy by using her Chaos Magic as a catalyst to invoke this effect at the cost of lowering her overall energy and wearing down her body.
"NO!"Was all she could shout in defiance as she couldn't afford to fatler here. It was fight or flight and she was going to fight to the bloody wall! So as The Angel Iramasha pulled out each of her arms out in a horizontal fashion, Cirno's eyes flashed with a bright white light and the Ice Fairy tapped further into her minds will power. She was able bring her resolve to the surface by bridging the connection between her psyche and reishi. By doing this, there would be a sudden burst in power exploding from the girl. Yet, it wasn't without cost as blood would begin to ooze out of her skin and even her own spiritual presence seemed to shriek out in pain. It was going to take its toll on her, but she had no other choice.
Vision fading out for a few moments, this explosion of strength was enough to block off the absurdly powerful walls around her from flattening The Fairy like a pancake. This was made possible by It creating an equal force for a brief duration of time that could prove enough to null each of their existences; like a train colliding against another train more or less. That was just the power of harnessing her willpower through Chaos Magic. Thus, as she struggled to move for a few moments, Cirno's body stiffened up, her lips curled and then she screamed out these words at him:
"GET A GRIP, MOONIE!"Letting out a screech audible enough to overpower any sound in the area, Cirno's energy whiplashed once more and bolstered to a new plateau of power as she produced a colossal ice shield around her. Launching on to the seven hundred meter radius blast of fire and gravity like moth to a flame, this dome of ice was meant to consume it like an animal would its prey. From there, once caught inside, it was meant to condense the attacks and then implode on itself within a contained perimeter of ten meters in a damning explosion. This move was meant to prevent anymore large-scale damage from occurring and the lives of innocents spared.
"Moonie, this isn't fun anymore. You aren't enjoying this and neither am I. You are turning into the same baka-monster I was after Australia...."There was a hurt look in her eyes when she noticed that the male was beginning to cry. His appearance gave her the thought that he had been through the ringer and saw the jaws of death itself; both within himself and in the world around him. It must have been the same heart-wrenching reality she suffered until her encounter with The Immoral Dealer. The most important lesson she learned on that day , from a demon no less, was that life was suppose to be fun -- not filled with such strife and pain.
If nothing else got through that naive skull of Cirno's from Reigen, that message did and she was going to run with it until those sentiments reached her heart and mind. Therefore, she was going to mark the same lesson into Moonie's equally thick skull one way or another. So as he prepared to rain down his colossal sun on her -- The Angel of The Ice could do nothing but smile. After all, what good is instilling a point if you yourself can't live up to it? Even if things were becoming as dark as the burning hole within Moonie's spirit, so long as there was a trace amount of light left within that shadow; the chance to change the tide and see the dawn of a new morning was always behind the veil of the darkness.
Thus -- she could only begin to laugh and enjoy herself as she realize how much she was in for. It was ridiculous the kind of power that this man possessed within him and it was only befitting to poke fun at it because of how ludicrous it was. As the world around her seemed to be going to hell in a handbasket, the inner-world within Cirno became determined, focused and ready to take on this insane challenge. Harnessing her will and energy, there was no sense in evading an attack like this -- and she decided to charge it outright to prove a point.
Understanding that Moonie had a reputation for being a fighter who only listened to force, Cirno was going to let her actions do the talking. So as she divided face first into the dark sun -- she endured the pain of his heart tenfold. Letting out screams of pain, Cirno's will power was acting as a shield to guide her through the flames of this attack. It could rip her in two at any moment and reduce her to nothing but a pitiful stain on the earth that could pass for a poor excuse of modern art. Blood spewed from the creation of numerous across her body like raging lava burst, scorch marks multiplied by the dozens across her body and bones were even heard audibly cracking at the seams across her legs, back and shoulders.
Yet, even as her body became banged up, clothes tattered, vision reddened with pain and spirit filled with Moonie's anguish -- Cirno kept forward. With her right fist aimed outward, she navigated her way through his attack and begin CUTTING through it. At the cost of taking significant damage to her body, she'd sever the entire blast in two and then blow its effects away upwards into the heavens themselves to detonate in a blinding flash of light.
"This...isn't what a fight is suppose to be about. This isn't what being the strongest is about either. You can try to torch, burn it or outright destroy...but it still won't change that fact."As her voice was being projected throughout the area in the wake of fire and light bathing the area, there was an uncertainty of where the child had gone; but she was still very much alive.
"I've always admired your strength from the stories told about you in the clan, but I don't want to fight you like this. So if you please, listen to my request and just....stop this. It isn't the right way to fight."Coming forth out of a sudden gust of smoke and flames, Cirno leapt forth at Moonie and went in to smash her now glowing white hand against his face. No matter what came in her way or what action could be taken, her speed and determination was hellbent on doing whatever it took to try and make this hit count. It had her willpower, hopes and power all invested within it to try and wake him up from this nightmare he was drenched in. So in this right hook jab to the face -- The Ice Fairy wanted to break this heartache to make return him back to the way he was. The happy-go lucky Moonie who seemed to always have such a grand time with his fights.
Henceforth, even as Joshua attempted to attack them both from behind, these attempts would prove all but to be in vain. The reflection of a purple haired woman adorning a dull-grey cloak was seen reflecting in Cirno's wings for a brief few moments. Following this instance of time, a burst of angelic energy shot out of Cirno's wings and attempted to purify the Shadow Tempest blast. If it could not cancel it out that way, then it would do its best to divert the multitude of its force away from Cirno and Moonie; aiming to redirect the attack down towards the bottom of Iramasha Island and into the forestland below the isle in the sky.
Meanwhile, as the clouds themselves started to rain down demonic magic, Cirno's wings pointed upwards and started acting as if they were moving on their own. Harnessing ample volumes of holy energy from her Angel Blood and Chaos Energy from within, The Ice Fairy was able to produce a blast from the tips of her wings to shoot upwards into the heavens. Increasing in strength by absorbing Outer Chaos Energy within the vicinity like a sponge, this blast soon expanded to five hundred meters in all directions and sought to swallow up Josusha and his attack before it could cause any further damage.
In this way, they'd hopefully be purified outright by this energy and forced to retreat due to the amounts of Holy Energy already flooding the area. It could cripple the demonic body of Jousha by eating away at his energy, cracking his bones to sunder, melting his skin like lava and lowering his senses to the point where he'd have difficulty even comprehending where he was. But even more than that, there was an additional gift within the blast that was intended to make induce a forced Chaos Warp and send him travelling back into Demon World into as a bloody pulp -- if all went as planned. Should this course of action fail, then a succession of one thousand holy spikes would rain down from the skies and attempt to keep Josuha busy while Cirno could focus on Moonie.
Thus, with a smile covered in tears, Cirno nodded her head to confirm one last thing. Staring the bloodied Moon God dead in his crimson eyes, The Angel of The Ice attempted to move in closer to say these parting words:
"So Please, Mr.Moonie, I don't want to see you hurt like this. Stop being a baka and wake up! I...we...can't fight like this...."And with one final thud, she aimed to headbutt herself against Moonie's skull with enough impact force to shatter away everything around them within a one hundred meter radius. This was the weight of Cirno's will, love and determination attempting to break through into The Nature Iramasha's shell at any and all cost. Even if she must cripple herself -- she'd figure out a way to get through to him.
