-Will be making a template while waiting for this to be graded. Also, I forgot to put in appearance, but I'll put it in the template =P-

Name: Kokuro Iyoshi (Iyoshi, Kokuro)
Age of Death: 23 years
Current Age: 14 months
Alias: The Maverick
Gender: Male
Affiliation: N/A
Rank: N/A
Dimensions: Banana for scale

Personality:

This trait is more or less a result of his martial art practices. His cautious behavior was originally developed as a tactic in combat situations, something which was necessary for a few of the styles he was taught. Unknowingly, this battle-trait had begun to crossover into his usual demeanor, no doubt a product of the harsh circumstances he was put through in his life. As a result, moreso than simply a cautious person, Kokuro takes great notice towards minute details, as well as finding himself thinking through the circumstances and possibilities before taking an action--of course, this isn’t an absolute in every one of his actions, but ones that can afford to have thought put into them are certainly taken advantage of. A common attribute in his daily attitude which has resulted from his cautious nature is a calculative characteristic. While he can sometimes be considered sneaky, attentive, and even an adept strategist, in his core he simply takes into consideration the details he is aware of--a rather simple trait, but the degree in which this attribute is found in Kokuro is uselessly abundant.

One of the newer traits of his, born through the deceit and betrayal of his elder brother in an attempt to gain a godly status among their peers--or rather, this trait was triggered through this event, rather than being born from it. Since birth, the places Kokuro would go was pre-determined, and these set places weren’t very far. While people severely lacked expectations for him, the lies spout from the mouths of his masters and dis-encouraging words to accompany, Kokuro was no doubt effectively born into a life lacking trustworthy circumstances, lived this life through painful times, and died in futility. It would only be expected that someone put through these trials and tribulations would lose their ability to trust, even to the point of it being a subconscious trait, carrying on through a lack of memories for the events which would bring about this characteristic.

Ambitious is loose way of putting it. To be blunt, Kokuro has a set goal in mind, and he’s not necessarily an ambitious person at heart, but rather, he’s determined to reach this goal and do whatever necessary to attain it--his dedication to this goal persists even through a lack of memory, as he even instinctually goes towards the direction which would seem to be in his best interest, in terms of achieving said goal. Of course, that just means that he’s determined to reach this singular goal; however, his past would dictate that if his goal shifted to something else or become multiple goals, he would apply the same amount of effort and drive towards them without hesitation, fear or lack of a whole-hearted effort. This trait of his is only enforced in the many times he went beyond his limitations in order to reach his respective goals, such as driving his body past its limit and forcing his chi growth in order to be comparable to his far more talented brother, or enduring the psychological trauma he suffered when restarting his training--all occurring with a ridiculously weak and untalented body. So, yes, loosely put, Kokuro is an ambitious person.

Hollow Type: Lesser Familiar

Hollow Powers:

Increased Physical Prowess: The soul is much easier to manage and grow in terms of physique. In addition, the teachings and techniques he had performed in his lifetime had strengthened his chi core, inherently increasing the strength of his soul as well. As a result, his physical capabilities are vastly dramatized in comparison to his old physical form. -Will be determined by Tier-

Enhanced Stamina: This is likely the most notable of his physical capabilities. The endurance of his physical body was hellishly low, but through unstoppable determination, he had transformed his nigh-crippled physique into a peak condition, even noticed by the demoralizing community he once lived in. The main reason he was able to actually achieve such a feat, aside from sheer willpower and persistence, was a soul which could manage and push the body further and further, passed what was considered utterly impossible for someone of his caliber. As a result of losing his physical form, it’s understandable that the stamina of purely the soul was taken into account, and for such a thing to possess more endurance than his physical body, which survived the constant strain and lack of efficient care throughout the training lessons and complete defiance of an actual breakdown, it wouldn’t be difficult to assume that, so long as Kokuro was determined enough, his endurance would be virtually unending.

Kokuro lacks the ability to use the Soul-Body Separation technique and the Acidic Touch. Whether it’s really just a lack of understanding and how to use the two powers or he truly is unable to perform them is unknown.

Chi Powers: --Kokuro has retained a few of his chi-related talents, achieving an awakened state prior to his death. Due to his fragmented memory and transformation into a hollow, he is severely lacking in his chi-related prowess compared to when he was still alive--

Geppo: This was likely the skill Kokuro was best with. Although his current form wouldn’t work as well as it used to with this technique, his mastery over the moon step would carry on into his after-life as still being of a prominent caliber. Kokuro has successfully made ways to apply Geppo to assorted body parts, resulting in phenomenal speeds.

Piercing: A technique in one of the styles Kokuro had learned, also being one of his favorite techniques. The user applies chi in the same fashion as a geppo, increasing the speed of the arm forward, the index and middle finger completely extended. The chi points in the arm stabilise and a link is formed between them. Similarly to a whip, the chi from the shoulders shoots through the arm, gaining momentum and strength as it flows through. After reaching the last point, the accumulated chi shoots through the fingers in a condensed form, similarly to a laser. The actual shot is so condensed and retains so much momentum, that normally it would easily compare to a gillian’s full cero blast; however, the blast of chi is localised into one tiny point, like a long and extremely thin needle. This enables Kokuro to send a shot potent enough to pierce the entire base of a mountain. Unfortunately, that is only achievable with a perfect execution and high amount of chi. As it is now, especially in Kokuro’s current form, he is only capable of having a standardized shot be on par with a gillian’s full cero blast, which was the expected power of the technique without decreasing its volume to the ‘needle’ form.

Spin Step: This technique is a simplified variation of Geppo, being able to be applied even in normal situations and other body parts. Chi is spread evenly throughout the body, and movements are sped up by propelling the chi in certain points of the body, as if the body is suit, and whichever direction the chi moves, the body follows. This technique is simplified, so its mainly only to be used when attempting to apply a lower form of Geppo. As such, it is advised that one not push the body, since hypothetically, the body can move faster using the Spin Step than it can through traditional Geppo, but a constant focus on the chi to be evenly spread out is necessary, or else extensive strain can be applied on the body.

Yin/Yang Surge: Performing a chi-balancing technique from when he was younger, despite its failure, Kokuro has already developed a very experienced body in terms of Yin and Yang. Previously focusing on their balance, Kokuro’s experience in both of them individually naturally increased, his potency in the two rivaling his Geppo in some cases. Or at least, it used to. With his current self, he is likely only able to achieve a portion of what he was previously capable of--even that is rather powerful, however. At the moment, Kokuro is still able to create a Yang Surge on par with its foretold power, keeping up to par with a gran rey cero and accelerate over the course of 2000 metres. Unfortunately, this would take a large amount of Chi, and require focus in balancing his yin and yang both before and after the surge. This was a problem during his physical life as well, so before dying, he had already come up with a temporary solution to prevent an unbalance as well as exhaustion of chi. Most of Kukuro’s variations are palm-related techniques, which seem to play a part with the manifestation of three large palm-looking parts in his hollow form (palm strikes are likely his favorite amongst his techniques).

Buddha’s Palm: This technique is a variation of the Yang Surge. The user first balances Yin and Yang, slowly converting and increasing the amount of Yin energy within them. The user connects their palms for a brief moment, dividing the yang into one arm and the yin into the other. After circulating the chi throughout his arms for a short while, fleshing out the yin energy from the yang, the user focuses that energy and propels their palm forward, a blast shooting forward in an invisible force. It’s shape and sheer amount of force is often displayed by the landscape. When hitting a surface, the shape of a palm will often be displayed, sometimes as large as an entire surface of a mountain. While it seems rather powerful, Buddha’s Palm presents itself as one of the strongest of Kuroko’s techniques, and is rather taxing to the balance of chi within him, despite the original intentions in its creation. Unfortunately, this technique requires preparation, and leaves room to be attacked directly before usage--furthermore, using it too often results in an imbalance of chi, often making yang-related techniques impossible to do until stabilisation is re-established. Techniques requiring balance between the two rarely work in such a state. As with the yang surge, with it’s usage, the result of rebalancing one’s chi after the technique is performed often results in a small power boost, and beings killed by this technique have a lower chance of turning into hollows.

Freezing Ice Palmstrike: Similarly to the Buddha’s Palm, this technique is a variation of the yin/yang surge--the major difference between the two is that the Freezing Ice Palmstrike requires the usage of both yin and yang energy, and thus requires the balance of the two to be performed. A mixture of the yin and yang energy combine and is shot out from the palm. The technique is easier to be performed with the use of both palms, but it’s easily accomplished with one by those of experience, including Kukuro. The chi being blasted from the palm instantly begins to manifest and crystallise into Ice, easily freezing the water molecules in comes into contact with. Using this technique on a moist body is especially effective. This technique only blasts the chi up to fifty metres forward, but the entirety of these fifty metres could be completely frozen. This technique is far less chi-consuming than buddha’s palm, therefore it can be used multiple times in quick succession, should chi-balance be maintained.

Flustering Wind Palmstrike: The concept is the same as the Freezing Ice Palmstrike, with only two distinctive differences: the Flustering Wind is a Yang technique, and instead creates winds with extreme force. Just as with Buddha’s Palm, balance must be maintained both before and after the technique is performed, but because its potency is far weaker than the formerly mentioned, the rebalancing is easily achieved. The chi from the users core is pushed into one of the user’s arms and is propelled forward, almost like a lance. The chi begins to rotate and stir the winds almost instantly after being expelled from the palm. These turbulent winds possess destructive force on par with tornadoes, as the chi, unlike the spreading Freezing Ice Palmstrike, stays compacted, it’s rotation still forcing the winds to churn with it. The further the blast extends, the more sporadic its rotations, as it begins to spin in different directions with rapid switches, causing the winds to blow chaotically. This technique can extends as far as 200 metres with an adequate amount of chi put into it.

Inferno Sealing Palmstrike: This technique is one of Kukuro’s few Yin Techniques. The same concept applies to this technique as does the Flustering Wind Palmstrike. The yin energy comes from the user’s core, expelling the accumulated chi throughout one of the palms. The result is the chi’s manifestation as flames. Just as the Flustering Wind Palmstrike does, the expelled chi rotates hectically, rousing the flames to twist and turn in a chaotic fashion. While the range is significantly shortened to 50 metres, it can be applied in a radius of 25 metres, bursting in a fiery field. As these fires are a product of chi, normal water cannot put it out.

Tekkai: Another prominent skill Kokuro possesses. While not as powerful as either the yin/yang surge or geppo, Kokuro is still rather adept with the Iron Mass. Much of his training consisted of growing the physical body to be able to handle and perform many strenuous techniques. Although Kokuro has lost muscle mass through becoming a hollow, he has still managed to retain a thin layer of chi around his body. Despite being, as aforementioned, ‘thin’, it’s surprisingly potent, especially when used as Kokuro does. Normally, this thin layer is capable of leaving Kokuro unharmed, even if he was to smash through several buildings, or be dropped onto the ground from a extreme height, but for the most part, this layer is only effective against blunt surfaces. Piercing objects tend to get passed this thin layer relatively easily. His tekkai is potent enough to shield him from harm when entering zones designed to keep hollows out.

Tekkai Shift: A sub-technique of the Iron Mass, Kokuro had developed a way of focusing and accurately controlling the chi coating his body. As a result, he’s able to shift the layers of chi around him to a specific spot, so that even piercing objects can be protected against. This technique also enables the pumping of Chi from within to the surface of his body, shifting inner chi into his Tekkai. This results in a thicker, more sturdy layer. Unfortunately, Tekkai, including the shift, only protect from bodily harm. Momentum can still apply, so if an object with enough momentum hits Kokuro, he can just as easily be sent flying with it.

Iron Devastation Fist: A variation of the Tekkai Shift, Kokuro long ago discovered that the Iron Mass didn’t have to be used solely for defence. Through the shifting of chi from the rest of the body to a fist, Kokuro’s striking force is drastically increased. Because of the simplicity in this technique, it’s almost inexhaustible; however, the major weakness in using this technique is leaving the rest of the body unguarded. It would seem like the benefit was outweighed by the risk, but the Iron Devastation Fist fails to lack in potency. Normally, Kokuro would simply apply inner chi to one of his arm to increase his striking force a hundred-fold, but such an action generally force Kokuro to hold back and fail to put his all into the punch, as there is a high risk of injuring himself in an all-out punch. To reach his attack’s full potential, Kokuro focuses his Tekkai around his fist, protecting it from damage when punching. As a result, this also hardens the punch, applying even moreso pressure than before. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see an entire skyscraper fall from such an attack, especially when taking into consideration Kokuro’s new form.

Background: Distant from large societies lived one people, dedicated to the development and discovery of the martial arts. To these people, martial arts wasn’t simply a form of self-defence, or a way of disciplining one’s self. These people were utterly dedicated, obsessed with the concept of martial arts. To them, martial arts was a way of life. Here, they practiced and created a large array of differing styles, enough to compare to the Murim. But imagine, the sheer number of styles created for only one people, practiced by only one people, and imparted upon one people.

Time passed on as the numbers of styles increased, to the point where most every individual had their own personalised style, and knew fragments of other styles. To the outside world, every one of these people would likely be considered martial arts masters. But again, to them, martial arts was a way of life. To simply master these ways in the eyes of those far less experienced was hardly a compliment. The only thing that could be considered worthy of putting their pride into in this community was the recognition of their own peers of their custom martial arts style. Of course, because of the type of environment there were in, where critique of one’s style was as common to find as dust on a mantle, there was a very small number of people who were ever prideful. Although the majority of these people were humble, which was occasionally seen to be good, it never gave chance to anyone lacking potential to give any exponential rise in their efforts to also achieve the right to have pride. It was truly a ‘weakness is sinful’ type society.

Not only was a lack of high-potential persons present in this community, but keeping track of the styles, having them also interfere with each other as to which was superior, was also a problem. The choice picked to resolve this issue was rather poorly thought out, but action was taken nonetheless. Their solution? Document and teach each style in this community to one being. This person would be expected to have many qualities. Primarily, someone with utterly unfathomable talent, who could actually soak in all the information and styles, and successfully learn and utilise them. Something else vital to this being was the capability of handling stressful situations. Possessing every style imagined in this society was likely to put this person into a deity-like status, praised for essentially--in the eyes of the people--reaching the furthest point possible in the martial arts, nearly the pinnacle. Another trait necessary was a kind heart, as much of the oversight of potential persons was due to everyone searching for flaws in one another. A kind person, who was likely to instead encourage the people rather than find flaws and bring one down, would also likely result in the flourishing of these styles, developing them further and further towards the pinnacle.

With these traits in mind, it would be clear that they would have to start from scratch. Through selection of the newborns that year, done by looking to see who exactly had the most potent amount of chi from birth, a twin was chosen to inherit the entirety of the community’s knowledge. This twin, already presenting an enormous amount of chi, was selected amongst the other newborns by a landslide, including his other twin. In fact, the other twin was likely seen as the least qualified candidate, lacking severely in any output of chi at all. It seemed appropriate to these people that despite the lack of potential in the weaker of the two twins, keeping them both and putting them through the same thing would be a good choice, as the chosen one would have someone to compete against, possibly furthering in his development.

Years passed as their training had already begun, chi exercises to maintain, stabilise and slowly grow their talents with the energy being taught and practiced merely a few months after their birth. Many of the more renown persons of this community would transfer and force smooth flow of chi within the two infant’s bodies. The chosen one of the two easily accepted and flowed the external chi, whereas the weaker of the two required three of these masters to properly conduct smooth chi-flow.

By the time they were three, the twins had begun physical training, starting with the development of actual basic exercises, used simply to build up their bodies to a proper height. The chosen of the two easily completed the training, moving on to do more difficult exercises alongside the six year olds. The weaker of the two was pushed to follow his brother, the masters growing angry with him for falling behind.

Despite the chi exercises he was put through during infancy, he was still far weaker than his brother, in fact being weaker than a normal human, bordering the physical prowess of a cripple. He truly was a disappointment, but for the sake of developing the chosen one, the masters forced him to progress, increasing his amount of exercises and shortening the time limit, flowing dangerous amounts of chi into him so as to forcibly bring him up to his brother’s level. The strain it produced on his body was quickly healed, but the feelings of inadequacy and jealousy within his mind was not only ignored, but strengthened. He was met with many mental adversities, as the masters clearly established the line between him and his brother.

“You’re nothing, and you won’t ever amount to much. We sustain you simply to further your brother’s progress. Understand the difference between what’s trash and what’s valuable.”

These ironic words twisted the weaker brother’s mind and only provoked him to try harder, the damage on his body only increasing through forcing it to grow stronger.

Around the age of six, when the two siblings were beginning to be taught legitimate styles, the chosen one fell ill. An unknown disease had manifested within him and disabled many of his bodily functions, no doubt preventing him from doing what he was chosen to do. With the mixed feelings of happiness, and guilt for this happiness, the weaker of the two, out of brotherly love, acted in place of his twin and pretended to be the chosen one. The lack of physique and chi was what made the two so different, and while the disease hampered and weakened those aspects of the chosen one, the weaker brother had conducted a forbidden art of a certain style, forcibly enhancing his chi development. In order to sustain the new burst in chi, he would require a body physically capable of handling it. During the nights, when everyone was asleep, he would conduct physical training of the same level as the masters, forcing his body’s development to grow up to par with what his brother’s skill once was, as that same brother’s physique fell to his own previous skill level.

During a training session, the masters successfully fooled into believing that the weaker brother was the chosen one, began teaching new styles to the twins. During this training session, the weaker brother collapsed. It was soon discovered that the weaker brother failed to successfully perform the forbidden art of the certain style, and while he temporarily gained a boost in chi and physique, ultimately, he only drastically decreased these two aspects. In light of such a discovery, the masters soon realised that the chosen one was inflicted with a disease, and that the two had switched.

This prompted the masters to restart this project and choose another newborn, as these two twins had now fallen far beneath the current progress. However, the weaker brother had urged that they could do better. That he could continue, and successfully do what his brother was chosen to do. The masters had taken his word for it, and continued training the two, however, they believed that it was necessary to start them out on a clean state, as their talents had fallen far below normal. To do so, the masters began performing unspeakable actions, so as to purge their minds. Some of these actions could easily be categorised as torture, and psychological breaking. In the end, though their memories were retained, there was no doubt these children were mentally blank and completely purged.

Thus, the project had once again begun, their training harder than ever in hopes of making up lost time. Fortunately for the two of them, few hindrances, especially those as big as previous events, had arose, and their rapid progress towards learning the styles of the community had eventually come to a finish.

Finally, seen at the pinnacle of their society, the two twins, chosen and weak alike, had awakened to a new form, ascending past anything before attained in this small community of their’s. But there was still the matter of who was chosen or not. Despite teaching the both of them everything there was to learn in this small world of their’s, the masters had originally decided on one person inheriting the knowledge of their people, and they would keep true to their original intentions. In the end, it was a battle between brothers to determine who would legitimately inherit the godlike status among the people, and the battle would never even begin.

The originally chosen brother, in a thirst for this position, despite all the two had been through, and the sacrifices they made for one another, would betray the originally weak brother, and kill him before the decisive battle was to take place. The final words the chosen one would speak to his younger brother forever lingered in their minds.

“Just as always, as you were meant to, you have lived for my sake, brother--and now, you shall die for my sake. I thank you.”

---

A year would pass before the fallen brother had awoken. While his feelings of betrayal lingered, soon birthing into a need for revenge, his soul would transform to a beastly form, and he would feed upon the unfortunate souls of those who were still pure senselessly. Only know would his consciousness return.

Reserved for other important stuffies

Also, I just want to say that I'm aiming around tier 1-5 to 1-3. If the person who's checking the app doesn't mind, could you point out and help me in modifying the app to get around that tier, whether it was inadequate to get to the tier or too strong. Doing so would be much appreciated.

...I'm going to be blunt here. This isn't really... a well flowing app here. I think this is what you should honestly do, make this into a Human with a Hollow Ziamichi. Because I think that would honestly flow better and would make sense in that way, So this is what I'll do. I'll put this app into WIP and give you time to convert it. Hollows can't or well aren't really known for using Chi. Hollows are usually known for using negative energy, and death like energy not life energy such as Chi. So maybe use a human with a hollow soul so that you can have the hollow famliar as like the Ziamichi Spirit, an the human uses Chi, since that would honestly work the best in your favor in getting this checked with a favorable result.

Would you mind helping me make this work out? I really want Kokuro to be a Hollow Chi-User--not a chi user with a hollow ziamichi or anything like that, but an outright chi-using hollow.

I talked and powpow'd with other people it's a no.

I explained before, but it would spit in the face of what Hollows are meant to be, and the staff shook their head, bible thumped and said no, you'll need to come up with something different. I'm sorry.
