Intense Training! Entrance into the Hyperbolic Chamber!
Fri Jul 18, 2014 11:21 pm
"What.. is this place? Why do I feel so heavy?"
The male wondered aloud as he stepped into the strange shelter. On the outside of the door behind him, there was only open desert. In every direction the male had sought, there had been nothing. But once he had entered this strange place, it became apparent that something was... different.
This was the only place for miles with food and water, and the man had great need of both. As such, he was thankful for this place. But at the same time... it was strange. "Man... did I eat too much?" He wondered aloud, before walking outside of the building. As he did so, he slowly came to a stop. He realized that in front of him... was nothingness. For miles and miles, he could see only pure white. "And unlimited space... unoccupied by anything." He muttered to himself, before bringing both hands forwards, calming his breathing as he focused his 'ki'.
"HAAAAH!!"
The male's lungs belted as he released a blast of pure energy, releasing it from his hands and watching as it flew. He was panting slightly from the exertion, and he watched it , his eyes wide. It flew... and flew... and flew. It simply did not stop as it continued to fly, the male's arms slowly returning to his sides. It was apparent that he was shocked that the blast kept going until it left his sight... as he considered his eyes to be quite good.
His eyes glanced towards the floor then, before bringing his right hand back, tensing the muscles all the way up his torso and arm. WIthout pause, he threw the fist downwards, clenching his teeth hard as the blow slammed into the ground, his stance attempting to deliver as much of the recoil downwards as possible. "AHHH!" He cried out in pain as he brought his hand back, his facial features contorted slightly before he began to relax again.
"Ow, that really hurt... But this place... It's perfect... for a training area!" The male determined, looking back at the housing area filled with food and two beds. "Hmm, two? What does that mean?" He wondered aloud as he walked back to the building, before suddenly hearing a noise. Taking a defensive stance, he swiveled his body towards the door, his eyes narrowing in focus as he observed what was entering inside.
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

Yade, yade.
Sand was terrible.
The young-looking girl mused over this singular thought as she moved her way through the dust and debris that littered the world around her. If only there was a way to keep the sun, but get rid of sand. The sun was much more inviting. Warmth, energy, and hope for all that was to come. If any singular object could embody all of these things, the sun would be that object. But, when combined with sand, it made a hot and sticky mess that was simply no fun for anyone. If one could do away with sand, though, that wouldn't be a problem!
This thought gave hope to the girl, a smile playing on her soft features as she skipped from place to place among the various dunes and plants of this ruinous place. If only the sun weren't out now, she mused, her gaze turning upward at the moon that hung in the sky above them. It would make things a lot more cheerful, at least, what with the endless expanse of stupid sand everywhere..
The girl in question had gotten used to bad weather. Really, the dry skin and sunblistered clothing would be something easily forgotten once she returned to her own realm. She was a guardian beast. A spirit of the Sugiura race. Such a thing cared not for the simplicities of being cool, or other petty nonsense, really. Especially not when one had lived for nine hundred years without incident. The clothing she wore this day was much like the clothing one would see her wearing everyday. A white t-shirt under a pair of orange overalls, tucked neatly into a pair of black work boots. A bit on the tomboyish side? Absolutely, but it wasn't as if Nono cared. She was comfortable, and if she gave even half a crap about what people thought of her, she wouldn't traverse Earth so often.
It was moreso these thoughts than anything else that traveled with her as she wandered. It was quite possible that she would've kept musing for hours.. had she not spotted the hole in reality that was the open "door" ahead of her.
Blinking curiously, Nono stepped inside, looking around for a moment in awe before spotting the singular man within. He seemed strong, in his own right. There was a lot of potential, if nothing else. Nono cleared her throat, speaking up a bit so as to be easily heard in the area as she tried to communicate with the man.
"Excuse me! Uh.. what is this place?"
