Mansion Meeting (private) - Page 2 Empty Mansion Meeting: Agreeing

'Assistant?' She thought. '....He's being absolutely serious.' The blue haired girl looked directly into his eyes, listening carefully as he spoke. 'You're kinda gutsy. Willing to put your life into my hands. Without even seeing what kind of skills I have first.' Putting her thoughts on pause for a moment as she let the words sink in. But then again, you do have guards. An thought popped into Wine's head. 'Wait...what about school?' The teen couldn't believe she even thought about school at a time like this. School was just some place that was the station to her dream train. Just a place to pass the time while also trying to gather fans along with using people to get the young woman whatever she wanted. That place also had annoyances and honestly Wine felt like if she ever wanted to learn anything the girl would teach herself or ask one of her parents to get someone to teach her at home. The young woman was positive at least one of them had connections to someone like that. 'If only they had connections to people in the entertainment industry.'

A memory of a younger Wine talking to her parents popped into her head. They seemed to have many connections, but the little girl didn't see that her parents didn't like keeping contact with people in the entertainment industry. When Wine asked in the minimalistic styled living room, her father clenched his teeth together exhaled then left. Before the little girl could ask if she said something wrong, her mother, Harumi brought Wine to the couch. Harumi sat next to her then got out a brush from one of the many secret compartments that laid around the mostly minimalistic styled house. Wine's mother then began to brush her hair, which is what she had a habit of doing when the mother needed to tell her daughter something important. The little girl waited for her mother to speak and when Harumi did it felt like an eternity. Though younger Wine got it, people in the entertainment industry just weren't their cup of tea.

Back to the present, teen Wine knew this wasn't going to be easy. "I agree to your terms. I'll start preparing to move as soon as possible but..."Wine paused. "Since we will be living together and I think it'll be best for you to know that I don't usually dress like this. I'm a cosplayer." Wine turned then started heading out the door, saying over her shoulder. "Though I have a feeling you won't mind something so small. So...good luck to both of us!" Wine was now in the doorway, the girl turned once more bowed then said. "Bye Wareyasui-Sama. Thank you very much." Wine stood up then turned a bit towards the exit, blowing a kiss towards him to show her gratitude then waving goodbye as the young girl left.

"I expect you here by 1600 hours tomorrow, promptly. Preliminary evaluations will begin then."

Moroi watched her tentatively as he tracked her reaction, showing no visible reaction to her words or the kiss she blew him as she hurried out the front door. The boy remained in his seat, pensively, until he was convinced that she was completely gone from the premises, before a completely uncharacteristic shade of red rushed along his face. Either she was really good and noticed that he both noticed and enjoyed the fact that her skirt was less than modest...or she just assumed every guy thought like that. In either event, she had him pegged rather accurately. Moroi pressed a button on his chair, causing a small cellphone to shoot up from the chair, his mind interfacing with the interconnectivity of his information network as he rifled through the best perspective candidates for what the girl would need. Moroi had some calls to make.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One Day Later...(dun dun)

3:45 PM, Moroi was sitting quietly in his chair, his eyes on the television. If she was on time, that would give them ten minutes before before her first instructor arrived to give her the preliminary vocal evaluation. It'd allow him to brief her on her schedule for the week and explain how things would work. She'd quickly find that Moroi was both lacking in many social graces that "normal" people were accustomed to, like modesty or humility, and that he thoroughly enjoyed having a clockwork schedule to work with. She'd...learn that soon enough, to be sure. However, at the moment, Moroi's attention was almost completely fixated on the news report in front of him. Silently listening to what the local human media had to say about him.

"Last night, an unidentified creature was caught on security camera brutally assaulting a building in downtown Sydney, Australia. There are eighteen confirmed dead and no survivors were present. Beware that this footage may not be appropriate for young or impressionable viewers."

They would show...repeatedly, the leaked security camera footage of a three and a half meter tall, metallic monster blowing through the building and...well...rather brutally killing everything it came across. They weren't kidding when they warned against impressionable viewers. Numerous people were cleaved clean in two, one was violently smashed against a wall to the point where all the camera could pick up was red mist. Moroi's eyes tentatively drew down to his hand and away from the carnage he was so readily distributing. It was one of the first jobs Divine Comet had been given. Monsuta remnants had holed up in the capital, it was Moroi's job to remove them...so he did. The general public would know nothing of course, Australia was still suffering destabilization issues after the massive war for retaking the continent and for all the people in Japan, safe little Japan, knew, it was just further fighting in an unstable country. Moroi's Akagai had been seen though, the public would recognize it fighting in Australia a second time. That was good.

Mansion Meeting (private) - Page 2 Empty Yesterday Sexy business, Today Koko

Wine practically ran towards the mansion the moment her cab dropped her off. The teen was not a fan of her cosplay outfit now. Running with the swimsuit like top made the girl feel like she was going to get smacked in the face by her own body. The teen just had to wear the black and blue swimsuit top which had to be worn with other specific pieces of clothing. Her bottoms were a pair of black hot pants (very short shorts) that had a silver belt going through it's loops. Attached to her belt, laying on her booty was a blue pouch. The girl's legs were mostly covered by light blue thigh highs. On her feet were a pair of almost calf high white boots. Wine's neck was covered by a big blue scarf. The young girl's hair was now a newly dyed brown. However, it couldn't be seen currently due to Wine wearing a blue wig with bangs and tied into a ponytail. On the left side of her hair was a bat clip, while tucked into her blue scrunchie was a pair of purple knives. The entire outfit created the look of a
popular character from a tv show Koko Mittner.:

Fortunately, thanks to the costume Wine wasn't overheating by the time she reached the front gate. The young woman stopped running forward but now she ran in place. "IthinkI'mlate.YouknowwhoIam. Let me in! (I think I'm late. You know who I am. Let me in!)" The words rushed out of her small mouth, not giving the guards a chance to speak. Now the teen was panting a bit. 'C'mon, C'mon, C'mon.' The young woman thought as to her it felt like the guards were slowly opening the gate. Once the gate was open enough for Wine to go through she dashed across the threshold.

The young woman breathed heavily as she continued towards the front door. Wine's chest moving up and down as she worked on instinct to get air in her lungs. The teen inhaled then exhale to keep herself from breathing so hard. "あ~よかった。(I'm so glad) I think I'm on time." Wine softly said before putting a manicured hand on the door handle then turned it. It wasn't a challenge to open up the door to the mansion, meaning that it was unlocked. "Hello!" She said before turning around then closing the door behind her.

Wine felt like she was now in a dream. It seemed a bit unbelievable that she'll be moving into this very mansion as part of an agreement, so the teen can be an idol. The young woman brought it up with her parents, they agreed to it. However, they seemed very sleepy and probably just heard 'assistant job, lots of effort and moving.' Work was probably rough for both of them now, it was that thought which lead to Wine writing down a note and the address in a very visible spot, on visible paper in very visible print. If the two worried they could use resources to research.

Moroi didn't pay much attention to what was happening outside, he had a pretty good read on the personality of his new assistant. Even if she was the type to be chronically late, she did seem to really want to realize that dream and that did still require a good impression to be given to Moroi. It didn't tell him how punctual she'd be in general, but he knew at least that she'd be here on time today. Normally, Moroi would have been keeping one eye on the situation outside but he had trouble focusing on anything else but the television, on himself. They seemed to really enjoy showing the gratuitous violence that he was administering...were all humans this bloodthirsty nowadays or was it just this particular news outlet? The door flung open not long after that, the girl belting out her hello in her typical cheery tune. Moroi was slowly getting used to it, but it was such a stark contrast to his own rather taciturn and emotionless approach to conversation, so it would be awhile before he totally got used to her strange mannerisms and the general volume of how she greeted him.

Moroi turned his wheelchair away from the television as they replayed him slicing Vizards in half for the twelfth time and Moroi saw something that unhinged him more than the gratuitous amounts of violence behind him. He was not used to women wearing what was effectively just a bra in his presence. The boy was more or less naive toward the more salacious topics. He understood them on a biologically level, he even understood them so far as using them to manipulate others, but he was woefully inexperienced at dealing with them directly. Hormones were an enemy he never learned how to fight. Realizing he was staring, Moroi quickly turned his head to the side and pulled a small cellular device from his pocket and extended it to her. The device would function as a cell phone/PDA/tracking device, but she really didn't need to know about the last one. If she turned it off of sleep mode, she would see her schedule for the day.

Spoiler:

"The coach for the singing evaluation will be here in ten minutes. You will display whatever proficiency you have and we will determine how much more work is needed and we'll go from there. We will repeat the process for the other two coaches. If you have any questions, feel free to ask."

Moroi had for the most part regained his composure while he spoke, turning his attention back to her and tentatively waiting. Of course, the bath on that list could be done before himself. He was capable of walking around and moving like a normal person for two hours at a time with the Naisei...but there wasn't much point in having an assistant if he had to strain himself. Giving him his bath would be a good way to see how dedicated to this she was he supposed. After the coach got here however, he'd most likely be taking the roll of silent observer, most of the finer points of these arts were lost on him, his focuses tended to be more scientific than artistic. So he'd rely on their opinions for the time being.

Wine took the phone from Wareyasui's hand. The young woman could see from the way the screen looked that it was still in sleep mode. Using one manicured blue nail, she made the screen come back to life. The screen lit up her brown coloured face as her eyes looked at the black text on the screen. It all seem fine, but then the teen's light blue eyes stayed upon one of the tasks for that day. 'Bath?' Wine thought. Wine smiled a bit. 'Maybe I should've worn my nurse outfit today?' The teen kept her eyes on the screen as she listened to Wareyasui speak. "I have one. So, do you mind the clothes that I'm wearing?" 'And another, where in the world do I look when I give you a bath today?' Wine thought as her eyes drifted towards his. 'No..no definitely not there.' The girl's eyes focused on something else while her mind quickly went to another place and Wine wish it didn't. The teen could feel her face beginning to burn. 'No way am I turning red!' Quickly shaking off the thoughts in her mind. The young woman came to a conclusion. 'Forehead! I will look at your forehead.' Wine looked back at the schedule screen. 'Ah! My stuff will be delivered at a good time then. 10:15 PM'

Moroi was not entirely sure how to respond to her question. Yes, he minded it, not so much because she was wearing it, but because it was eliciting a reaction from him. He was supposed to be an emotionally transcended being and it was hardly the first time he'd seen attractive women, but there was a certain quality about her after the determination that drew him in. Of course, that was the same reason he had even agreed to this venture in the first place, so at the same time he did not mind it at all...he would probably even be disappointed if she stopped. Then something peculiar happened. It wasn't that a blush in this situation was confusing, what was confusing was who was blushing. From Moroi's studies of human interaction and hormonal influence on those social interactions, he would be the one who would be blushing from a scantily clad woman. His eyes shifted toward hers, giving her the familiar piercing glare as he tried to piece together what she was thinking to have that reaction. When she broke contact and went for her phone, checking the times and dodging whatever thought she was having, a soft smile came to Moroi's face. He didn't need a clock to know what time it was and he had been explicitly clear over the phone that the first coach was to be on time. His hands fell to his wheels and slowly began to roll by her, speaking softly.

"No, I don't. I rather like it, you're very beautiful."

That was really the closest she was going to get to genuine emotion coming from him as the young man rolled past her and to the door. Like clockwork, as he pulled it open, the girl's vocals coach burst in to the room and quickly sized up Wine, before she really had a chance to respond to Moroi's words, eyeing her up and down like a piece of meat. The woman would quickly pinch the girl's cheek, tilt her head up, dart around her to examine her shape and appearance. It was awkwardly similar to how someone would examine a prize dog. Moroi winced slightly at the sight. Then the woman rounded on him, a look of malice in her eyes.

"Manache! How do you expect me to properly feel her voice without a piano to accompany!"

The broken English with the heavily italian accent was kind of intimidating, but didn't seem to phase Moroi. This kind of intimidation was much easier for him to handle than the other he had been wrestling with. As if it was planned, and it was, the guards at the gate equally burst through the door, both of them struggling with a grandiose...grand piano. Moroi wasn't immune to showboating apparently and he couldn't help but enjoy the wealth he had amassed and the rattled look on the teachers face more than compensated for the cost of the piano. As the two guard set the massive piano down for the woman to play and quickly moved to escape the room, Moroi nodded to Chammy to show her stuff as the woman rounded on her.

"Fine then, you have a song prepared? What is it?"

Mansion Meeting (private) - Page 2 Empty Wine's singing skills despite years of singing class

Sat Jul 12, 2014 2:46 am
Wine let out a sigh of relief within her mind. The young woman was about to just move with her day until she realized something, 'Wait a sec, did I just complimented?' Though before the wig wearing girl could answer a woman came up to her. Ouch! The teen thought as her cheeks got pinched. The lady then tilted her head up and started looking her up and down. Wine did her best to not show how she was not happy about this. Though the girl couldn't help but feel like applauding when the guards came in with a grand piano. The woman looked, well she definitely lost this battle. Wine didn't even care that she had a small wicked smile on her face, but it only stayed on the girl's face for a moment.

The teen stepped closer to the piano. "Yes, I have prepared the song "Colors" by Nada Teru."
http://soundcloud.com/calmisia/character-cover-colors

The woman suddenly stopped playing. "What this? THIS you call singing? No, no ragazza (girl)." The woman rubbed her ears then threw a glare towards Wareyasui. "You give me a hard one! Do you hear?" The woman wouldn't dare let him answer the question and went back to the teen. "Tremendo (terrible)! I Rosella may have heard worse. But.." Rosella let out a exhale. "You. Do you not have lungs at all? Tsk tsk tsk. And your pitch. You so pitchy at times. And your rhythm!" Wine stood there listening to Rosella, she didn't have anything to say. The young woman was shocked at a moment but there was no way she was going to quit. The teen's eyes burned with determination and fearlessness.

"But...si...yes.." Stating in a tone that showed Rosella was deep in thought. "You do have a nice sound." The woman looked Wine up and down, then she walked up to her. "You will be a challenge, but I do not mind." Rosella made a breathy 'ha' noise then rubbed her throat. "Take note of what I did. I did not clear my throat like, "AHEM". No, you see that'll hurt your voice. You do "Ha" like me, Si? Anyway, first lesson posture." Rosella walked around Wine making tsk noises. "You see, you give body no chance to sing!" Rosella stopped walking then softly hit Wine's back. "Up straight!" The teen did as the vocal coach commanded. "Shoulders back" The woman pulled Wine's shoulders back herself as she gave the order. "Feet a bit apart." Forcibly making Wine's legs from being next to each other to a bit apart. "Always have it at this capire (understand)?" The young woman nodded her head. "And lastly, bend your knees slightly. You don't want have all the tension in the knees." Doing as the vocal coach commanded Wine slightly bent her knees.

"Si. Si. You have it. Now, the next thing we do. I want you to inhale." Rosella demonstrated the type of inhale the woman was looking for, a deep one. "Then I want you to exhale. I count how long you exhale for. Capire? (understand)" Rosella asked, though didn't give the teen a chance to answer immediately pulling out a stopwatch then stating, "Ready? Go!" Wine did as the the instructor told her to do. It felt like an eternity until she ran out of breath. The vocal coach stopped the stopwatch. "Hmm...11.78 seconds. Lots of room for improvement. Breath definitely needs work. With no air there's no sound, but too much air ruins the sound. Capire? (understand)"

Unlike most people, Moroi could process information at record, record speed. He even mapped out the contours of her face as he noticed that wicked smile that flashed across her face at her instructor's losing battle. That was something to appreciate, emotion like that suggested a vindictive streak, and that was incredibly useful. That kind of malice and drive was exactly what was needed to excel in anything, idoltry included. Moroi was faced with a mixed reaction when his pretty assistant actually started to sing. It wasn't horrible, she still had a pretty voice and Moroi could even see the potential...but it was very raw. She seemed to run out of breath at inopportune times, half the times the words and sound just sounded wrong. He wasn't musically inclined nor was he especially knowledgable, he did not need to care about such things no more than twenty four hours ago, but even he could tell the myriad of flaws that would need to be made up for.

As the instructor turned on Moroi, yelling at him of all people, the multicolored eyes shifted and a look was sent toward the woman that Chammy had yet to see. It was hard to believe a scrawny looking crippled child, bound to a wheel chair, could be pants wettingly frightening, but the look that he shot the elder woman as she yelled at him even shot fear through her bones. She had quickly covered it up by returning to roughly dictating the girl's movements and positioning. Moroi understood what was happening on a biological and anatomical level. The voice required breath, the stronger one's capacity to breathe, the stronger they could sing, but as far as the art involved to projecting that voice was concerned, Moroi found himself, for once, rather useless. The boy watched, quietly as the woman maneuvered Chammy around like a doll and any concerns he had were put to rest by reaffirming to himself that she was the best of the best for this sort of thing.

Moroi was actually impressed with how long she could hold her breathe, an awe that was not shared by the instructor but the boy didn't much care. To him, being able to maintain that kind of stress on her body was awe inspiring. Breathing normally was occasionally a challenge for him, he could never imagine having to handle that much internal pressure. When she finally release and the instructor rather quickly dismissed the accomplishment, Moroi did the only thing he knew how to do. Social interaction was not a strength...emotions were even less so, but he still managed a smile in Chammy's direction. The intention was to be warm, comforting, and encouraging....and he sort of hit the mark, but the boys strange eyes and lack of experience with those who expression things sort of made it come across as somewhat awkward, but it was hardly the first time the awkwardness of her sponsor and employer had been shown in its full light and she hadn't fled in terror yet, so maybe there was hope for him having a meaningful connection with another human being. It was a very unlikely maybe, but still a maybe.

Mansion Meeting (private) - Page 2 Empty New Nickname: Chammy!

Tue Jul 15, 2014 12:34 am
Wine nodded her head. The vocal coach tapped her chin. "Something missing...." Rosella softly said. "Ah, Si!" The woman stated when it hit her. "We hadn't not formally haji..haji..hajimaru(intro..intro...begin)?" Rosella struggled with the Japanese words. "{Introduce ourselves.}" Deciding to finish the phrase in English. "I very old fashioned you see. Anyway, I am Rosella Ruggieri." The woman held a hand out to Wine. "I am Champagne Inoue. I prefer to be called Wine." The teen stating before shaking Rosella's hand, getting out of the previous posture she had before. "Ah, what interesting name you got Chammy." Wine was about to correct Rosella but then the sound of the nickname sunk in. The girl actually liked the sound of 'Chammy' much more than 'Wine'. "I never been called that before. I like it."

Miss Ruggieri went back to the lesson. "Now, let's try breath exercise a bit more. This time you got 10 seconds to inhale then sing 'ah' until you can't not sing." The woman tapped the middle C key on the piano. "On this note. Capire?" "Yes." Chammy then put her body back into the singing posture. "Okay, 1, 2, 3. Inhale." The voice teacher snapped her fingers as she counted to 10 in a smooth space. "Sing!" Doing as instructed Chammy sung the note until she ran out of breath. "20 seconds. Improvement. Now we do scales." Rosella placed her fingers on the keys. "First listen, then follow and last only you sing." The vocal teacher sung "ah" up the scale then down once. Then, following the plans that were laid out before, Chammy followed along with Rosella. The girl was a bit surprised at the sound that was made when both of their voices combined into one sound.
The teen did this a couple more times along with other vocal exercises such as tonal memory, until the teacher instructed her to actually sing a song, Sakura. Though the song didn't fit the sixteen year old's taste, she was glad to actually be singing a song. However, the lesson was not long enough for the entire song to be taught. Time seemed to pass very quickly because soon Chammy was greeted by her acting coach.

"Hello, I'm Riley." A person with long hair, carrying a briefcase greeted Chammy. The teen automatically tipped her head to the side. She couldn't tell if the teacher was male or female. Riley's face, voice, clothes and movements seemed to fit both and none all at the same time. The girl decided that it didn't really matter, just as long as Riley taught her something. "Hello, Riley. My name is Champagne Inoue, though I rather be called W-" The girl stopped herself, remembering her new nickname. "Chammy." She held out a hand towards the human. Riley lifted a hand up with just the index finger being extended, telling Chammy to hold on one second. The adult then tied the long hair into a ponytail before grasping the teen's hand then shaking it. "Nice to meet you." Both of them ended up saying at the same time. Then both looking surprised. Riley chuckled.

"Let's get started. Have you prepared a monologue?"Riley asked. The teen nodded her head. Chammy's position changed, there seemed to be more authority in her than usual. Her confidence was there. With the two traits combined it wasn't like her usual self. The way she was now, Chammy seemed a bit more on the aggressive side. The girl then began to speak as clear as she could.
"With thoughts of a man gone in my heart, I knowingly took on this impossible fight.
A woman's got her pride. With a maiden's prayers and rage, I'll blast you away along with your cheap trap, so prepare yourself!!!!"

Chammy did her best to show the emotion in her face, voice and gestures. Riley clapped at the end. "I see now! That outfit and those lines. You're Koko Mittner." Riley paused. "Do you always dress up as a character in order to portray them?" Chammy shook her head. "Oh, I've never actually officially acted in a play before. I'm a cosplayer. During cosplay shows like runways I feel like you can't really sell the character to the judges unless you be the character." A spark appeared in Riley's eyes. "I see. I see a good future for you. But now for some critic, during certain words some of the letters got lost. I need you to enunciate more. Such as cheap, the "p" need to be enunciated a bit more but not too much." The human paused. " 'Puh.' " The adult said, then with a open hand gestured towards Chammy to try it out. " 'puh.' " The girl repeated. "Good." Riley stated. "Now try using that with the word "trap"." "Okay." Chammy in a clear voice said, "Trap." The teen didn't over or under enunciate the word. "Good." Riley clapped.

"Now on to the objective of today." The adult opened up the briefcase then took out a book with a blue cover. "Everything I'll teach you is in this book. This book will teach you about how to properly take care of your voice, the body parts that's needed for the voice, warm ups, the history of theater among other things. Every week I will give you a quiz, the quiz will be you telling me what you learned and then I want you to perform what you learned in a skit. Is everything clear?" "Yes." Chammy said.

While what he was watching was terribly exciting, what Moroi was doing was not. The young man was very proud of his new investment, happy that she would remain as dedicated as she claimed she would, and ecstatic at the raw amount of potential before him. However, idle happiness and pride were not very exciting to talk about. Especially since, for the most part, Moroi was relatively convinced that the girl had forgotten he was there, which was a good thing. He wanted her focused and not letting distractions hamper her progress was essential. Time did seem to fly by very quickly in this room however. It felt like she had only begun singing minutes ago when the full hour had elapsed and her next coach, the acting coach, came in to the room. At its very core, "acting" was an elaborate lie. An obvious and known lie for the purposes of entertainment, but a lie all the same. In the past and present, the actors who were considered "great" were the ones who could truly sell that lie. It was rather obvious he had found the right person to coach young "Chammy" the second Riley had walked in to the room. Everything about him was deceptive and ambiguous, the kind of things Moroi would normally despise in a creature and he couldn't even completely quiet his disdain for the man's whole demeanor. Thankfully he kept that distaste internalized.

Moroi would watch for a few moments before an incessant buzzing went off in his ear. He let it linger for a few moments, letting the two speak, before he slowly wheeled himself out of the room. Her being too busy to notice him played out in to his favor this time, letting him stalk off through the mansion to the places where she was not permitted to go. Moroi slowly wheeled himself over a platform in the corner of study before the entire corner rotated, leading in to a small outcropping just barely big enough for the wheelchair before it was quickly dropped down to Moroi secret laboratory, a place he had been nostalgically coining his "bat cave." Wheeling himself out of the tiny elevator, Moroi moved across to the wide computer monitor as the details for Divine Comet's next assignment flared up. Here, he didn't need to pretend to function like the humans upstairs. The hundred thousand word document scrolled rapidly down the large monitor, cycling through its entirety in under seven seconds as Moroi's eyes stared at the screen, unblinking. Not a single bit of information was lost in the exchange. A soft sigh escaped the heterochromiac. He'd be going back to Australia soon, there were still insurgents to put down it would seem. Now, after the seemingly filler actions were completed, Moroi made his way back to the incognito elevator and rode his way back up to the third floor of the mansion, rolling out in to the study and then out in to the hall, slowly peeking his head over the railing to see his young assistant's progress.
