None of the entities on the battlefield went to help the poor arrancar. Not the newly arrived arrancar, nor the Sugiura, and definitely not the human child. Whatever their reasons could only be discerned by that particular individual, and their reasons for not assisting the man who had ineptly handled the threat that were zombies. Yes, they may be walking corpses, but that really didn’t mean much when they had the numbers. And the most they could possibly know about the zombies was what they had learned from the media, which has the habit of being wrong though she doubt anyone believed that there be actual zombies walking the planet one day.
Anzu sighed deeply, briefly watching as the arrancar escaped the horde without much trouble. Why hadn’t he done that from the beginning, she didn’t know, but she did draw up several conclusions that would never be explored. Seeing that the arrancar was quite safe, she continued the work of teleporting the corpses, though it was quite clear that eventually she would need a break. Too much strain was being placed upon her body, and though she may increase the weight of which she can teleport at one time due to this event, that didn’t mean she wouldn’t be feeling the backlash later on.
Eyes flickered over to the arrancar who had just a moment ago been in the middle of the horde. A glint flickered in her eye for a only a second, gone as she turned her attention back the the rapidly decreasing masses. “See? You managed to get out of that predicament by yourself,” she said, a tired smile crossing her face. “Perhaps next time you shall no better than to throw yourself into the middle of a horde without knowing rather or not those around shall assist you when you land yourself in hot waters.” Anzu looked at him from the corner of her eyes. Without saying so much of a word, she teleported to the top of the nearest building, taking a seat upon the ledge.
She was out of this fight, she had reached her limit a long time ago, but now she could no longer force herself to continue. So, instead of getting in the way, she had decided to take cover a top a building. Anzu had a feeling that by time she decided to re-enter, the battle would already be over. Thus she settled for simply watching the others finish cleaning up so that she may go home.
