There were alarms becoming set off all throughout the Yuudeshi Network as Videl went off the deepend. By her display of power, these were alerts that brought the attention that a dangerous presence had infuriated the city. However -- this was nothing new to the metropolis. There were hundreds of thousands of threats that plagued the city on a daily bases and most had proved not to be worth the Beast of Karakura's time with the man-force and protection the city was armed with. Yet, in this case, there was something peculiar about the spiritual frequency in which one of the targets in this city brawl possessed. Yes, upon further inspection by the network -- one of these combatants in the middle of Karakura Central shared his own wavelength. So while Shadin had returned from a mission overseas, he was brought up to speed on the conflict going on between Videl, Sou Yuuki and an unnamed demon via Yuudeshi Network. So while things were getting quite destructive within the core of the city, the threat of this harming the civilians was far too great to ignore. But, out of his own concern, the priority of protecting his long lost daughter took a much more urgent matter to tend to than anything else. Thus, as Shadin observed the the spectacle from the top of a airfleet above Karakura Central, he decided to first go into action by making the most of The Yuudeshi Network to isolate this portion of the city from the general population. This was made by possible by having the vicinity of where Videl's void force was be met with resistance by the ample volume of energy made possible by The Yuudeshi Network. From there, the citizens within this district were all but shielded from her attacks and were evacuated by means of teleporation in a quick manner. Everyone within a three thousand meter radius seemed to be transported and removed from the area in order to prevent them from being caught up in the potential crossfire.
Once this objective had been met, the process of conjuring up a dense barrier was all but childsplay with the abundant resources the network had at its disposal for Shadin to use. Clocking in and synchronizing with the processing power from the machinery associated with the Network's own supercomputers and Shadin's cyberbrain, the barrier was put up within seconds in order to give them little room to react. However, this dome wasn't meant to keep anyone or anything out. Instead, this sphere of white light ignited within the three hundred meter radius to induce an environmental shift. Through the vast amounts of The Yuudeshi's reishi scattered about the city as apart of his siege, Shadin interconnected the entirety of the city section where this battle was taking place and coordinated a massive teleporation spell from his kido arsenal.
Where were they being transported to? The outlands of Karakura Central: Karakura Forest. It is in this location that he'd be unrestrained and free to do as he pleased without endangering the welfare of the city at large. Meanwhile, for everyone caught inside, they'd be taken along for a little trip; but could feel free to leave once, or if, they arrived at their destination. And as for the hole in the ground left in Karakura City? Well, The Yuudeshi Network would tend to those wounds. Already having the blueprints of Karakura Central at its disposal, it wasted no time using the nanomachines synchronized with the Network in order to reconstruct that portion of the district where the battle more than likely took place.
From there, all that was left to do was for The Beast himself to descend upon the area and reclaim his young. Therefore, from out of the docking bay of one hundred meter wide silver ship, the supposed leader of Japan stood his ground. Wearing nothing more than a pair of black canvas shoes, ash colored jeans and a white shirt with vertical gray stripes; he seemed more than casual in his appearance, but very true to his intent with a scowl that made his crimson red eyes pierce the area from above with a gleaming red glow. Clenching on to a mechanized cane that started to produce mechanical sounds from within, the whirring screech of Shadin's power being activated came as he flipped the switch on his black electrode collar and took off in a flash towards the battle area as his silver hair thrashed in the wind.
In this descent down to the earth, there was so much going on through his mind. It had been so many centuries since he and his daughter last spoke or seen each other, so it was safe to assume that the male's mind was all but entrapped within a mental whirlwind. At this point, he was reacting purely on fatherly instinct. From sniffing the blood of his own, all processes going on inside of his body at this point were automatic and downright robotic. Most of the resources at his disposal were aimed at getting his daughter out of this mess and giving her the help she needed after reviewing the footage of the clash thus far from the cameras within the city.
Therefore, before anything else, it was safe to assume that the correct method to deal with this delicate operation was to take Videl out of the picture all together and subdue her. Flashing back to memories of his own self going on rampages throughout the old city of Karakura Town, he knew no reason could be talked into her until she was at point where logic could prevail. Therefore, he decided to go ahead and send tens of thousands of chains around the range where Videl was. They were all blue and white in color and seemed to be produced out of sheer energy. In fact, they came to be out of the very reishi that Shadin had scattered previously in his entrance into the brawl.
What was their purpose? Simple: entrapment and defense. By locking her in a wealth of his own power, this would make it rather difficult if not impossible for the void energy to function in a stable form. This meant that it was going to be constantly rejected and fought against the very antithesis of nothingness: creation. After all, creation was a very real possibility of Imaginary Computation at its root, and with the excess energy of The Yuudeshi Network backing him, it was all but a second thought to bring this power to the forefront to shut her down outright. All throughout the battlefield any trace of void energy was going to be locked down, blocked out and all but sealed.
In the meantime, these chains were also meant to bind and constrict Videl's movement by injecting her with The Beast's own energy. Provided this plan were to work, the objective of it was to cripple her with the copious amounts of spiritual energy that The Beast possessed in order to quickly bring her to a ceasing halt. Her bones, muscles and organs would all feel immense pressure, constriction and limited mobility and strength to them as this process was meant to take effect at a fast rate of speed. Moreover, when it came to her metaphysical being, the same restrictions were intended to come about to her Chi and Energy based powers.
Like a beast claiming its prey, the reishi from Shadin were instructed to begin clamping down, restraining and halting the creation, movement or usage of Videl's own power by sheer dominance and control. In this way, she was meant to have her supernatural powers on lockdown and reduced to the status of a paralyzed human so that she could be reasoned with and withheld in a secure location. As, after the creation of these chains, a dense barrier on par with dome from Karakura Central was produced around Videl's body. Its purpose to keep anything from coming in and The Agent of Chaos from breaking out.
Thus, at this point, the chains were all but meant to retract and defend Videl from the assaults of Reigen and Sou Yuuki. If the chains were to fail by the time they had been ordered to entangle Videl's entire being, then the dome itself was going to prove to be the standing force. The Yuudeshi Network itself was proving to be quite the bountiful thing in this endeavour as Shadin bounced all throughout the battlefield. If nothing else, he had one thing going for him: he was faster than both of these men combined. Judging from their movements in the recorded databases of Karakura Central, this was a safe assumption and bet to make. So if all the other precautions failed, he'd just shove her out of the way himself and throw a burst of white light at the two of them in order to disrupt their attacks by brute force in the form of a colossal energy blast. However, this was only on the off-chance that the first two measures of defense had failed.
In any case, he'd more than put himself in between Videl and the two attackers. Holding out his hand, he'd produce a repulsion field from his energy that was meant to repel and deflect physical and metaphysical attacks across a one hundred meter radius. Gauging the levels of strength between himself and the two other targets on the field, it was safe to fall under the theory that this would hold up against their attacks if they decided to get further violent. Therefore, he'd soon turn his attention towards the scarlet gaze of Sou Yuuki's eyes and stare him down with the utmost of resolution behind them.
"Look, if you wish to get to her, you are going to have to go through me at this point." Now moving his left arm to act as a shield to Videl, a burst of white and blue electricity surged from out of Shadin's body and scattered throughout the range as his energy seemed quite volatile and ready to snap at the slightest sign of hostility towards him. "I don't care about any sort of long-winded speech about heroes and villains," Follow those words, he'd more than refer to the many times Sou had gone over the hero and villain aspect between the two as he seemed to make a great emphasis on it. ", or the plight between humans and demon's," Turning his gaze to the likes of the Immoral Demon, he could outright smell the disgusting scent that was demonic essence from his keen senses granted to him by his Ziamichi Spirit: Oni Chiita. ", all I know is that this battle is over and I am going to handle it in the way I see fit. This is my daughter and the city I protect, so it is more than within my jurisdiction to handle it from this point."
Glancing back at Videl wherever she may be at this point, he kept a close eye on his presence on the field. There was no guarantee that everything he set into place was going to go as planned, but the network estimated that its chance of success was more than ninety percent. However, it was always the ten percent risk of it failing that left him unnerved. No, he wasn't afraid of fighting them all. Combat was just a fact of life for someone of his caliber of strength. What was stabbing him in the gut was the off-chance that his daughters future was more than -- bleak -- from the actions she decided to take in. If she decided to continue to be aggressive and homicidal, he was fearful of what the higher-ups in Karakura Central were going to think of this; yet alone having to put her down himself if her mental state deteriorated further.
So, even as he stood before them now, his mind was plotting a million different ways to work his offspring out of this mess as any father would when their children were in danger. He wielded a lot of power and influence in the world, so he knows at the very least he could delay any sort of hearing on the crims that were committed with her unlawful use of powers and intent to cause damage and death. It was just -- the thought of rehabilitating her -- was going to be a long and dangerous road he had to take on with the other responsibilities he has to the world at this point. It all made for quite the volatile and stressful situation to deal with and he was more or less on edge until one of these players made the next move in this dance of life and death they played.
