RAVAN VESPARA

UNDERSTANDING DARKNESS
» Name: Ravan Vespara (रा व ण) is a self given name that the Original Rakshasa goes by and is known under. According to Hindu Mythology, Ravan was the name of the strongest and most renown Rakshasa (which are said to be a race of demons known as 'man-eaters', hence the name chosen for Hell's Guardians) who also ruled over Sri Lanka as King. Vespara, as far as he knows, doesn't represent any name - it is simply his imagination running wild whilst becoming a custom to the universe's tendency to name beings with a last name.
» Age: Ravan has existed for, approximately, 450 years. It is said that he was born out of the ashes of he predecessors known as the Kushunda and was the first of his kind. When Ender looked into Hell over 400 years ago, the previous guardians were eradicated and the lone guardian stood in their place: this guardian was Ravan.
» Gender: He is considered male, however it would be best to describe him as 'it' rather than pronouns such as 'he' or 'she'.
» Appearance:
» Written Appearance: One of the most obvious features when one looks at Ravan is his wild, messy blue/blackk hair. It is seen as rather shaggy and all over the place, rifts of hair curled up in some areas whilst most others are straight down onto his face. Especially at the tips, the ends tend to kink outwards slightly away from his neck. This is only a minor feature to his appearance, but it is definitely noticeable. Letting it fall down in front of his face, Ravan's eyes are another thing that come into question. Through the gaps in his hair, it is seen that the pupils of his eyes are rather large, twice the size of a normal humans. With a thin layer of brown, almost black, colour lining the very edges, the outsides remaining white like a normal human beings. It is said that he can shift the size of his pupils and overall colours in his eyes, meaning he could make them red or blue at any given moment, then shift instantly to green or something as radical as yellow. His entire facial structure is a little smug in itself, not overly warped or different from the face of an average male. The main differences, as mentioned, would be seen in the eyes of perhaps the soft, smug smile he can push over his lips, a smile that one could imagine saying "everything around me is pathetic, I will crush you all."
Having a rather skinny body, Ravan's figure shows to be lacking in both muscle and fat. Standing at a good six foot tall, weighing 65 kilograms, he does not have a lot of room for muscle. His structure his built to be rather skinny, to the point where he might be considered underweight. His arms and legs aren't skinny to the point of anorexia nor are they looking like they would snap by picking up a heavy object, however it does seem like something that would be unexpected from the original Rakshasa. As a demon of Hell, people usually would imagine the first born to be something menacing, devil in all forms, personality and outer appearance. Whilst his outer appearance does show himself as... unconventional, his petite body structure doesn't draw people to instantly believe he is the first of his race.
His attire mainly consists of a black pair of stretch-straight leg jeans and a black hoodie. The jeans are slightly constricting onto his legs, not to point of suffocating them, but they loosely hang off his thighs and such with a bit of excess room. At his waist also appears to be a white checked belt, in the middle a chrome plated belt buckle that simply has the appearance of a bleeding eye imprinted on a horizontally placed rectangle. The hoodie is also a pitch-black zip up, the zip is usually placed just above chest height, revealing the slight colour of yet another black shirt. The outside of the good is also completely black in colour, however the inside appears to be a purifying white. The hood is usually found placed down, however is word when he is acting as "the observer" whilst in the field. He believes it allows him to hold some scale of anonymity if someone is also viewing him from the sidelines, not instantly revealing himself to the world. His shoes appear to be also black slip-ons, simple shoes that are flat heeled and have a flat overall appearance. The laces are as black as the rest of his outfit and the most distinctive feature on them is self-painted splatters of red, seemingly signifying blood and he having stepped into the pools of it.
» Occupation/Affiliation: Occupying the second lowest layer of Hell, layer 665, Ravan Vespara's main job is to stand as the final Guardian before anyone can enter the realm in which The Embodiment of Death and Deveta, The Demon God, rests. Beyond this, he has no clear set objective nor 'job' he pertains to. The only possible affiliation he holds is to Hell, as an 'Overseer' or the 'oldest Rakshasa', he holds sway over a lot of the other Rakshasa. Although they have no 'leader', the hierarchy system placed him as the strongest, or rather most experienced, Rakshasa - generally giving him sway over the other Guardians of Hell.
He holds no affection or admiration towards any other demons of Demon World or Shadow Fall, so he simply exists for himself and the his position as Guardian of Deveta and Death. For this reason, the only person he lets into that final layer of Hell where Deveta and Death's Embodiment rest is Khala and her companions.
» Residence: Ravan's residence is directly at the bottom of Hell, layer 665 right before the final gate to the Embodiment of Hell. It is said that this area is void of anyone. No prisoners, no friends, nothing but Ravan himself. Due to this, the realm is deadly silent with no sign of life anywhere. The entire layer of 665 is pure darkness, no light sources, nothing. But the beings present within the realm are perfectly visible. For example, if someone was to set foot in this realm, there needs no light source to appear that they're standing in perfect light. However, everywhere you look, there is nothing. A world that covers the entire length of the Earth, if not bigger, of pure darkness and abyss-like surroundings. The main reason this world is pure darkness is by Ravan's will. He wishes his layer to be dark because it allows him piece of mind. No stupid noises, nothing that can make him annoyed.
The gateway that is said to enter the final layer of Hell sits a gate three kilometres high and is around two kilometres wide. It is surrounded by pure darkness, but like the human figures within this realm, completely visible. Right before this gate sits a throne, the throne is sat right in the centre of the large door, where the two sides of the door meet in the middle. The throne has thorns wrapped in and around it's frame, painted a dark grey with red splashes all over it. This is the throne that Ravan sits on as Guardian to this final layer, to make sure nobody makes their way into Deveta and Death's place of rest. The throne he sits on takes THIS appearance
PSYCHE OF THE ORIGINAL RAKSHASA
» Hostile and Questionable: The best way to sum up Ravan's entire personality would be two words: hostile and lazy. Ravan has shown himself to be a rather crude, sarcastic and violent. He is a being that does not believe in manners nor any form of formality, rather he prefers to keep things simple and wild; as he believes that's the true nature of being alive. Due to him not believe in formality or any manners, Ravan is also very, very sarcastic. He will make sarcastic comments or the most gruesome of jokes during the worst times. He'll begin to work his way up in tearing down anyone he talks to, turning almost everything he says back at them and even ridiculing them when a loved one or they show any sign of formality towards him. Although this doesn't necessarily mean he is up in your face about every little thing, nor that he has to comment all the time. Ravan does prefer the silence and solitude of being stationed in the 665th layer of Hell, meaning that even though he turns to violence, the darkness and silence of his realm is something he can easily find comfort in. This isn't the only side to Ravan Vespara, however, it is just shown to be his most prominent and in your face side.
When the word 'questionable' is applied to Ravan, the general meaning is his intention. Through being hostile, violent, logical and fearless; this has made all of his actions questionable in terms of validity as well as meaning. One might find it difficult to understand the way he is thinking or how he goes about things, for this very reason it is impossible to get a grasp on what he will do or how he will do it. Questionable in every single aspect of his life. Will he get the urge to suddenly tear head from spine? Or will he get the urge to simply let someone go? Will he feel like letting someone die quickly or torture them over time? Feel like interacting or not? All of these questions have no answers, as even though he does have preferences, he is constantly twisting and changing in all aspects - making him not only quite the enigma, but very, very cunning and sly. It would be best not to trust Ravan Vespara if one could help it. He is just as likely to be holding the knife in your back as he is to grab your hand and save you.
» Violent: The second thing to note would be the violence. He prefers not to deal with trivial matters at all, but even when he is drawn into situations, he will often turn to ripping someone's spine out through their neck or cause someone to gargle on their own blood. The main reason he has shown to get so violent is because he gets annoyed very easily, even over something trivial such as someone being late to a meeting or being too noisy. In most situations with others, his general interaction is "punch first ask questions later." He is not violent out of hate, nor is he violent out of fear or some other obscure reasoning. He is violent because that is the nature of, not only being a demon or a human, but he believes it is the true nature of all living things. Lions hunt gazelle when they need to, they rip their throats out. And just as lions hunt gazelle, he should hunt those weaker than him to keep the scale of strength set. He is very dominant in that aspect, he keeps his animal instincts alive so he becomes one with his surrounding easily. Proving he's number one makes him alive, keeping himself on top of the food chain.
» The Overseer and Information Broker: Ravan's very existence has always been known as The Overseer of events, always paying attention to his surroundings and keeping keen observation. Whilst he doesn't always interject in events or happenings, it is important to note that even if he is in the shadows, he will onlook at take mental notes about his potential enemies or even allies, anything of detail. Due to his tendency to remember almost anything he sees, Ravan tends to watch and view more than experience. From his layer in Hell, he can peak into other realms using his Dagi Tvaca and even keep tabs on happenings there. Due to his position as overseer of the Rakshasa in Hell, it makes sense for him to have this in his personality. Constantly keeping tabs on others in Hell is part of his personality, too. He does love to see the way other Rakshasa interact with the world around them or even spy on Humans to see how they interact. He loves to learn about those sorts of things, as he had never experienced such emotions most others feel.
Due to this 'observer' like nature, Ravan has become quite the collector of knowledge. Through his observation of events around the entire universe, many have been known to come to him anything they need to know. This means he draws in all sorts of demons, Hell Beasts, and even humans into the mix if they require information about... well, anything. He isolates himself so he does not allow people to come gather information from him, however in the very rare cases, Ravan could be described as a walking encyclopaedia.
» Logical: Although violent and hostile in nature, this doesn't mean his intellect has to be dimmed down either. During every day life, he is constantly analysing and thinking logically about every tine thing he does. Before he does things, logic is his most becoming feature; if someone could manage to peak into that head of his, they'd see constant thought processing without any shutting off. Even in the minor situations, he will often find the 'logical' and 'easiest' or 'quickest' way to do things, finishing them so he can move onto other things or have more free time. However this can also be considered a detriment to his personality, as he is always looking for the logical way to do things, he often skips things because he went the 'easy' route rather than the thorough. However he isn't always like this, the best example would be in fights. When locked in a battle, he will often think about the best way to take down his opponent, but in some instances he will draw the fight out or make those he's fighting be humiliated. This basically depends on the potential and strength they show to him. If they manage to hurt him and cause Ravan to have fun, he will generally toy with them some more rather than trying to quickly destroy their entire existence.
» Lazy: One of the most obvious traits others will notice, but this also coincides with his observer section. Not just an observer for his own pleasure, but rather it is also because of the laziness he with holds. Depending on the situation, he won't even bother to bat an eyelid before telling someone to 'fuck off' or leave him alone. Although this highly depends on the person telling him as well, and depending on the situation. Even with such situations are the Australian War, he wouldn't have bothered to leave his section of Hell. Not that he wouldn't have liked to be involved in the War, he probably would have fed off all that chaos and Death - rather it was the general mindset of "why bother when they're all going to die eventually?". Part of this laziness also has to do with the preference of silence and darkness, so he doesn't have to be forced into interaction when they would just annoy him. Sure, he loves to fight and mess with others heads, but when weighing that against his laziness and hatred for noise? The laziness sometimes outweighs it.
» Fearless: With nothing that inherently frightens him, Ravan is said to be a man of no fear. Even in the most wild of situations, Ravan has shown that nothing will waver him. If he's faced with a shotgun in his face? He'll continue to insult the person behind the gun or cut off their very hands before they can even fire off a shot. Faced with a nuclear blast? Not even will he fear that. A nuclear blast isn't something that would make him shake in his boots. Even if faced with the Deveta, the renown Demon God whom he protects in Hell, it is likely not even this would waver him. The only thing that might even slightly put his nerves on edge would being faced with The Embodiment of Death itself, as if that 'thing' showed itself, then something big was bound to follow. But due to such an event being highly unlikely, Ravan is a man who can be considered fearless and nothing to even slightly make him nervous. He had always been that way, it wasn't that developed with his strength, but rather something always present since his creation.
BACKGROUND
Conception
Over four hundred years ago, there existed guardians. These guardians stood as the foot-soldiers over the vastness of Hell's layers and watched, controlled and maintained who passed through Hell. These beings were known as the Kushanda, a type of demon forged by Deveta in his efforts to keep Hell secure. They did not have any form of free will, nor did they have any choice which way their lives went. They had one purpose: to be the guardians of Hell. Over lifetimes, longer than one might even imagine, these beings slowly became more and more obsolete the more Hell filled up and how it was ran. Due to this, around four and a half hundred years ago, this entire race was abolished. Like a flick of the switch, they were scattered from this Earth, leaving nothing but blood, bones and dust in their wake. From these ashes and remains, formed a new being. The first of it's kind. They quickly took up the mantle of being called Rakshasa. This first Rakshasa to emerge was known as Ravan Vespara. Like a phoenix being reborn from it's ashes, Ravan had spent centuries alone. He was by himself, in this vastness of Hell. He didn't know whom he was nor what he was; just that -- he simply was.
This conception of Ravan was unique as it sparked a key turning point in Hell's history. The entire reasoning he was created was to be the Guardian of Hell, a being that could not only put an end to any intruders that would come into Hell, but process everyone. The Kushanda had outgrown their usage, as Deveta and Death placed Ravan here as sort of an "upgrade" one might say. Ravan was created differently from the previous Guardians, however. He was not bound to Hell like they were, not servant that had to follow their orders and process everything like a robotic entity. He was free to think, feel and become the man he is today. Slowly over time, these methods of new Rakshasa were shown. By the time Ender peaked into Hell during World War 3, Ravan was the only being left. He was, alone, the new guardian of Hell. But how much could single person handle the entire processing of Hell?
Early Years
As time went on, it became more and more apparent that it was not at all possible for Ravan to handle all of Hell's processing and security on his own. Despite being designed for that specific purpose, every being has their limits. For this reason, the Hell Beast was created around fifty years into Ravan's birth. He was given the companions who would not only act as his partner and first friends, but his stability. For the first few years, Ravan's mind became very unstable. Due to the solitude he was thrown into of having to process Hell and everything around it, it not only became very lonely, but it stabbed at his mind like a knife under the pillow. An ever lingering essence of depression from being secluded for most of his life. He had little to no people skills by this time as well, making him very tough to get alone with, even for his Hell Beasts. Over time, more and more Rakshasa had shown themselves with their Hell Beasts; all unique with their own free thoughts. However, Ravan never really interacted with them. He was assigned as the person who would overview everything, control where the demons were placed and what layers they would stand guardian over, but he never got to know any of them on a personal level.
For this reason, Sapheda and Kala were his only companions. He would talk to them like best friends would, seeing them as family more than anything. To this day, he still treats most other people hostile, and sees these two beings as his only friends. However, due to the lack of up-bringing, he had always had a negative onlooking for life. Despite his depression and loneliness seeping into his brain ever so more, he became rather anxious when he thought about his future. If anyone gave him a problem in Hell, he would crush them into dust and move on. He went into deep slumber for a long time, a form of self-hibernation. For up to a hundred years, Ravan has set himself into a slumber. He wanted to spend as much time as he could resting, drowning those thoughts out over a long period of time.
Prior to this hibernation like state, Ravan had attempted suicide multiple times. In the end, he saw no way out of this pit he was born into. He hated it, he had no family outside of his Hell Beasts, no friends, nothing worthy to keep him alive. He was born as a man into a world that knew nothing but hatred and suffering. When you're a being that's grown up in literal Hell, there is no going back from the things you see. There is no hiding from the thoughts and visions that plague your dreams. Every time he had attempted these methods of suicide, he had always failed. Why? Not because of the ways he tried, he tried almost every method available. He tried to behead himself, he tried to rip himself apart, overdosing on substances, hanging, anything. Yet every time he went through with it, his body wouldn't allow it. The Death's Embrace within his body would morph his body back into a humanoid shape, restoring his appearance. He did have one method out, however. It would obliterate his layer of Hell, sending it into nothing but void, not existing anymore - him along with it. For a long while, he got very close to doing this. So what stopped him? To this day, not even Ravan knows. He went into his hibernation and remained cocooned for hundreds of years.
Present Day
Most of Ravan's present time is spent either collecting information, or working on his own projects within the bottom-most layers of Hell which he stands guardian over. Whilst his mind still remains plagued with scenes of horrible torture, death and negativity - he continues to attempt to wipe all of that clean with the pure darkness of layer 665. Ravan wasn't a man who would be very open with people, and he is still not. His demeanor had quickly changed from the anxiety and depression ridden man to someone who was quick witted, crude and someone who did not believe in formalities or manners. At this present day, Ravan sits beside Sapheda and Kala at the second deepest layer of Hell - standing Guardian over Deveta and Death's embodiment. He doesn't consider himself friends with any of the other Rakshasa, but rather that they share a common purpose. In many ways, Ravan believes this free-will that was given to them is a curse, but in the end, what fun is life without making your own choices rather than being a mindless robot?
NATURAL ABILITIES AND POWER
» Hidden Strength: While he may have a rather thin figure, his body is still rather muscular under his clothes. If one were to get hit by a punch from Ravan, they would feel a massive amount of crushing force with each strike. Aimed right, punches are capable of absolutely obliterating ribs and bones of even higher tiered characters, those with high defenses even feeling the rocking power of his attacks. This hidden strengths massive power comes into play with his other abilities, the main two being his death absorption and body morphing within his forms, explained further in the next post. This strength is already immense, but when piled on top of his death passive, it will only continue to grow more and more; creating a very terrifying being feeding off death like adrenaline. When the body morphing comes into play, this can make for some terrifying strikes and attacks, causing demonic entities and attacks to be so catastrophic that anything standing in it's way will mostly be obliterated within a matter of moment. This is a horrifying prospect for a lot of Ravan's enemies, especially since when Ravan fights and gains more power he generally won't hold back on crushing those lower than him.
» Agile and Quick: Ravan's speed and agility is nothing to scoff at - he has shown to keep up with the best of the best a lot of the time. This is to say his super human speed allows him to battle on fairly even ground with a lot of his opponents. While he may not instantly be able to match someone in a race, his speed is something that allows him to not completely get walked over by those faster than him. Another aspect of his agility is that his reflexes are now superhuman, making him able to react to punches or attacks with relative ease most of the time. Ravan is often seen being able to simple duck and swerve around a lot of attacks, especially ones that are slower than what he is used to fighting against. Often, he will screw with opponents as they throw punches at him and just weave around them and yawn as they try their hardest. Even with all of this agility and speed it is important to note this is not absolute, he is definitely still capable of being hit and outrun, it might just not be as easy as one would want in a fight.
» All-Purpose Fighter: Mostly, Ravan has shown the ability to fight at almost any medium. For example, if one were to try and fight him in close combat? That is his main area of specialty. If he were to come into a hand to hand fight, he would be found to dominate people. Dominate them through intense force and knowledge of fighting. Whilst he doesn't follow any specific "martial art" of the Earth realm, Ravan had slowly created his own styles of combat over time and training himself up from said combat. Although, as said, he is an all purpose fighter. You find him at ranged? He is able to spread black wings mixed with crimson aura, soaring above and around the fight. Not only this, but his bodily warping attributed from Death allows him to launch assaults from a distance. Adding this in with the Right Fist of Deveta and his Dagi Tvaca, he does not even need to be in the location to fight an opponent with impressive force. It is hard to find a medium where Ravan would not be good in combat, however there are wormholes into how one might fight him. This isn't to say he is the best hand to hand specialist of all time, nor does it say he is the best ranged fighter. Rather, he is proficient in all areas. When it comes to mental assaults, he is as open and wary as anyone else. Most of the time it depends on how you fight Ravan, because a lot of the time he will dominate people in many areas of combat.
» Perfect Memory: An usual trait that not many of the Rakshasa have shown to have, but perfect memory is rather key to Ravan's personality. Due to the fact that he can store seemingly endless amount of information without going insane, it makes him the perfect candidate to be a dealer of information in a sort. The best way to imagine the Perfect Memory would be like comparing it to a computer database. Whilst he literally doesn't search "war", for example, he can recall all information he has learned about the such instantly and refine and refine, given that he has heard about it before in his life. Due to this, he also grasps concepts extremely quickly, usually only having to be explained to him once.
» Intelligent and Information Broker: As mentioned in his personality, Ravan is a man who thinks about things logically. He will take the route of ease versus the beaten path. That can be named as intelligence as a whole, as he is capable of locating those paths by mere glances at times, and choosing whichever makes it easy on him. When it comes about knowledge of existence, Ravan is a prodigy. He is considered to be a walking encyclopedia that with-holds knowledge of all realms history and laws. He does not know every little detail, but when it comes to dates, historical value, he is the man you want to seek. Ravan also prides himself of being a bit of a Information Broker. A lot of information can be filtered in through him, being at the lowest layer of Hell (which not many people make it to) it gives him a lot of free time to analyse what's going on in the world around him. He is not a scientist, as in he doesn't conduct experiments on the things he finds interesting. Rather, he will gather the data, store it in his limitless brain and draw upon it when needed.

POWERS OF THE ORIGINAL
RAVAN VESPARA
रा व ण रा क्ष स
रा व ण रा क्ष स
MARTIAL ART - मौत स्पर्श
» Prerequisites: मौत स्पर्श (maut sparsh), translated to Death Touch, is the unique martial art created by Ravan, utilizing his powers given from death and Deveta. At it's basic level, the wielder of this martial art mixes powerful attacks with incredible defense, amplified through the application of death and Deveta's energy. This unique fighting style is only available to those whom have been adopted as a Rakshasa via death and Deveta method, indoctrinated and chosen as a candidate for Hell. This has only been an art taught to Ravan, meaning that any other Rakshasa of the same influence will need to learn it from him. The combination of explosive moves and death's radiance makes for a powerful, potentially life ending martial art that only the most elite of death and Deveta's warriors can learn.
» Clarity: While also practiced through combat itself, one may only achieve this art by clarity of mind. Trapped in his layer of Hell for thousands of years, endless amounts of both mental and physical torture, Ravan was able to perfect this art and turn it into something people of similar power could master. Undergoing bouts of depression and endless counts of attempted suicide, Ravan had eventually achieved self clarity. For one to access this power, they must understand and accept what they have become; and when using said power they must have a clear mind at all time. Only through true clarity and meditation can one hope to harness this. It took hundreds of years for Ravan to realise this, and for now? He wishes to teach others of this art - of a secret fighting style that has the potential to be unlocked in perhaps every single Death based Rakshasa.
» Meditation and Understanding: One must understand that this "fighting style" should not be considered something to make them stronger. Rather than a physical practice, while still important in combat, this is all about mentality and state of being. Meditation is good for this in that in will help give the user clarity. Perhaps not meditation upon Buddhist Gods or the original meaning of meditation, but just to relax and clear themselves of any current thoughts, problems and woes. It's important to note that this will not be taught to anyone whom is just power hungry, they must have an understanding that this is not about fighting. Whilst having supernatural and fighting techniques, one must look beyond them to achieve it. The best way to understand this power is to look at Satanism, in that it is all about self worship; meaning that rather than praying to a specific God through this meditation, the death coursing in their body is channeled into a form of Chi.
The purpose of this meditation and understand helps one control the movement and flow of that power and energy within their body, channeling it not only into parts of their body for the fighting style, but perform acts such as floating while meditating, or moving their limbs like a puppet. While not necessarily a "power", this is all about controlling ones self, especially in stressful situations where one might lose control of their being and need to recuperate and understand themselves better. A good way to imagine this is like Tai Chi, spending time to make yourself better, but also a form of self defense in a way. By manipulating the flow within ones body, they can not only learn to control themselves better, but channel their power into this unique martial art much easier. At first, one might struggle with the techniques, however it is all about repetition and practice.
When one practices this art of meditation, they will often be secluded. As they begin this meditation, their body will slowly begin to morph and twist, in many cases bones bending into unnatural shapes and looking overall rather demonic in appearance. Often times the Rakshasa can bend their bodies into any shape during this meditation, stretching skin, bending bones into abnormal and impossible positions without actually experiencing pain. Think of it similar to a thing like Yoga; where a human will push themselves to the limit of human flexibility. This is a technique and idea that ignores the physical limitations of ones body and pushes it into a form of freedom. Bones will snap, bend and move - making for some demonic looking entities during the meditation process. At the end of the session, the bones will slowly meld and morph back into their original place, all without experiencing the intense pain one might normally come with such a body altering maneuver.
» Inner Projection: In a lot of cases, along with the meditation, their inner thoughts are what matters. The projection of their inner self is the most paramount factor in this meditation. This is a matter of projecting what they are thinking of or meditating upon into the physical realm. This is to say that they can literally use the power of deforming their bodies mid meditation to represent their inner thoughts in physical appearance. A good, and simple, example of this might be a Rakshasa of death morphing themselves into the shape of a tiger that they are envisioning within their state of meditation. Whilst this does not inherently effect any battle presence or such, if disturbed during the meditation process or attacked, the inner projection has been known to attack/attempt to injure those disturbing them subconsciously. More or less? Do not sneak up on a Rakshasa of death that is meditating to avoid getting attacked by their inner projection, if said projection is of hostile or living nature.
TECHNIQUES
त क नी क
त क नी क
» भयानक प्रवाह: Pronounced as bhayaanak pravaah, otherwise known as terrifying flow in Hindi, is the basic movements of this said martial art; every kick, punch and body movement is used with a radiance of death. When undertaking this unique art, the practitioner will have swirls and mists of black smoke following their every strike, as long as it is used with deaths radiance. Consider a straight punch for example - this punch could potentially have a multiple different attributes; one being replication. Due to enhancing each strike, the user is capable of launching equal force from multiple angles - creating dark, shadow based formations on multiple angles in the same manner as the attack. This means that a punch that would hit someone in the face could also be replicated through will power and flow to strike at their legs, perhaps tripping them up. But this isn't a single attack, this can be replicated almost endlessly. This is the simplest form of mimicry, but also requires intense amount of focus to both maintain the ability to attack in high pressure situations and keep control of your flow of death's power.
On a larger scale, Rakshasa who practice this can mimic even larger abilities or attacks. A good example of this lies in how one might create a copy of a falling boulder from another angle of their death/deveta energy in the opposite direction the other is falling from. As a result of this, if you imagine an ability such as Ravan's, where abominations and destruction can be spawned in certain locations on a whim, creating copies of such things can be a terrifying prospect. Unlike the basic mimicking of punches this will take much more focus and as a result be harder to pull off on the fly. Atop of this, some attacks may be too big to replicate.
» राक्षसी अनुकरण: Said as raakshasee anukaran, translated to demonic mimicry, is one of the most interesting aspects of this martial art. Through the same flow of energy used in intense meditations, the Rakshasa is capable of channeling their power to match what is before them. This is to say that whatever they see in front of them, be it a monster of amazing stature or a human being wielding a strange weapon of sorts - the Rakshasa can use the projection to, in some instances morph either themselves into the being before them - or summon it in a form of the energy flowing in front of them. This is said to be a perfect mimicry, designed to "match what is shown before them". This isn't, however, always a perfect mimicry of their being. This can have modifications based on what is either seen or added by the Rakshasa manually.
The limitation of this technique lies in the inability to "perfectly" copy something. While the appearance may be similar, it will only copy it in a way that physical prowess is concerned. This is to mean that they will not gain access to any powers that the being has, nor will they gain any ascended state by simple mimicry. However, at a base level, the strength or speed (as long as it's considered a physical prowess) can be mimicked. Considering how this art is not necessarily about fighting most of the time, this is mostly considered a modification to the normal meditation projection and applied to battle. It is VERY important to note that the mimicry will not be easy to use in the heat of battle. Considering it's usually a practice used in silence and of intense concentration, people can usually only summon or hold these forms for shortened periods of time.
For one to project the being with the energy within them takes much more concentration than turning themselves, however. Only those practiced in the art heavily are capable of such a thing. To keep the being summoned will often take way too much concentration to be beneficial, meaning in only niche circumstances will it work to maximum to capacity. Turning themselves into the being is much easier, however also means that they lose access to their previous state of being whilst taking on the "projection" form.
» आतंकित करना: Pronounced aatankit karana, translated as "terrorize", is one of the most defining techniques taught about this martial art. Given the opportunity, this Rakshasa is capable of mimicking themselves. Before any more is said, the Rakshasa is incapable of attacking with these. Due to being able to mimic themselves to be in multiple locations at once, or perhaps send a "clone" of themselves rather than doing a task while they meditate, if attacked they will fade into a mist of demonic energy. It takes concentration of this flow of energy to mimic themselves, especially in high numbers. At the most, this is a form of trickery. Given that there is not a single way the Rakshasa could harm anyone with this, there is almost no limit to how many copies said Rakshasa could create. The limitations lie in the character themselves and the amount of concentration they are willing to devote to the mimic. The best way to think of this isn't "clones", but more like astral projection. A vessel which carries their vision, thoughts, memories and even (to some extent) physical appearance.
People whom understand astral projection might understand this better, however when broken down it is rather simple. When someone is meditating, sometimes people can have an outer body experience. This is an effect of the mind, perpetuating the thought that they floated above themselves and watched as a third person. The same practice can be put into practicality here, but rather than the spiritual "projection" being a personal effect of their brain, through the flow of energy within the Rakshasa, actually make it a reality. As the creator and main practitioner of this, Ravan is often someone who will spend his time meditating and mimic himself to go elsewhere, to either test the waters or just as a result of his laziness.
DEATH AND DEVETA'S POWERS
» Death and Deveta's Influence: Death's influence is the inherited trait from being born of Devata and Death creating his very body. So unlike the ways of other Rakshasa being born, such as the relationship with Deveta or the Sin method, Ravan is the exception to this rule. Ravan was said to be born from the blood, bones and insides of all the former Guardians known as the Kushunada. From this, he was gifted the slight powers and a hint into what Death or Deveta might wield. It must be noted that these traits are not a direct import of the God's abilities, but rather a play on what they can do and personalized to Ravan as a unique being.
» Death's Eyes:
"Death's Embrace", one of the hereditary aspects gained upon birth, is one of the main skills which Ravan Vespara uses to fuel not only his power, but his bloodlust in itself. On a simple basis, every dead being around him becomes a vessel: a vessel of not only sight, but precision point location. As long as he is within five hundred kilometers of a dead being, that dead creature becomes his eyes. This is defined by corpse location, and usually lasts until the body has decayed or been destroyed. The only caveat being that he must be within the range limit when the being dies otherwise Death's Embrace won't activate. "Vessel" also allows him to teleport to said location of the dead being instantaneously. The main purpose of this power is to literally 'have the eyes of the dead.' This is a dangerous prospect for high intensity battle areas in which many people have fallen casualty to the fighting - making this the prime location for him to fight. Within his own layer of Hell, this is a constant active. He can teleport, appear and have eyes literally everywhere - even outside of his reality warping racial trait.
» Death Absorption:
Similar to the way death is located above, the same death is a major force of power for him. Due to being born of death himself, Ravan is capable of channeling the death around him into a consistent source of energy to feed upon. Like other characters might feed off chaos or energy, Ravan feeds off death around him. The best way to imagine this power is a source of adrenaline or stimulus to his entire body, invigorating him. Atop of the adrenaline rush he receives from death, every action he takes is filled with much more strength and malice than before. The best way to imagine this is water, a small river will not carry much force, but the more water that gets added has the capability of literally destroying civilizations. The same is to be said for the death, the higher the amount of death he receives, the more brute force he receives. The best way to hold this ability down is to contain Ravan's carnage, otherwise if he is allowed to cause more death, or his opponent becomes reckless, he will indefinitely gain more brute power for the duration of those bodies are active. This makes Ravan difficult to fight, especially in higher level situations. If one is too reckless, they will only serve to make Ravan even more powerful. Death and abomination is the basis of Ravan's power, if one is able to cut the source of death, the harder it would be for him to win a fight.
» Reconstruction:
Using death as a catalyst, reconstruction is capable of rebuilding scenarios around the deceased. This, unlike the others, doesn't have the limitation of time. No matter the effect that had happened here before, Ravan is capable of reconstructing it, as long as one deceased soul had at least witnessed it. A good example of this would be recreating an explosion that killed someone in mid air via death energy. This means, however, the reconstruction would be spiritual and thus not considered a "physical" assault. This is mostly used for construction of past events rather than combat, however it is not impossible. This is useful in temporarily reconstructing an event, talks between people, or even showing a big event that took place by replaying it through the dead eyes of people who were once there.
» Deveta's touch: The best way to describe this inherited power would be like playing a jigsaw puzzle with endless possibilities of what pieces can fit together. By viewing the surroundings, Ravan is capable of not only tapping into their very atomic or spiritual make up, but he can then force that said surrounding into another -- forcing it to become one, fitting the two pieces together or re-arranging the environment. Whilst such a power might not be so useful in his own layer of Hell, which can be warped to his will, like any other Rakshasa is capable of doing, this can easily come into play in places like Earth or Soul Society. If one were to use this power in such places they would need not worry about walls in their way or defenses such as the Seki Seki Stone that surroundings the Gotei 13, Ravan would be able to remove or warp the portion of wall he wished to enter from. He could even go as far as combining it with another object in the surroundings and use it as a shield of sorts. Although this is highly straining upon the body, as this is literally deforming the natural order of life on Earth/wherever this is used to the users will. However, this is still extremely powerful. By simply waving his hand this can be done, reshaping the surroundings to his will.
This has also been shown to have a rather large impact onto others if used as a 'forging' technique. In very rare circumstances, Ravan is actually capable of forcing another entity within a living being. This means that, through Deveta's Unholy Hand, he can cause people to become Ziamichi's even or be implanted with that 'demonic voice' that can slowly turn a person into a Rakshasa. However these are highly isolated incidences, and even when this is 'possible', the opponent has needed to be in a weakened state as well as caught off-guard. Unless the said person being implanted with a Ziamichi is willing, he will virtually find it impossible to do so unless those two requirements are met. In many ways, this power can also be used as a form of telekinesis, forcing objects to float or even attempt to lift others up and throw them. Limited in a lot of ways, this reshaping ability is rather strong and allows him to play God over the environment he is present in.
The merging of two entities and products is good when used in conjunction with abominations summoned by his Dagi Tvaca, for example. If merging his own creations, Hell Beasts, or other animals of such destruction, he is capable of creating much bigger and powerful figures. The best comparison would be to his own Hell Beasts. When they enter their Tukara Saitana, they merge into one, forming a single being which is much bigger and more powerful than the two on their own. The same would go for the monsters he merges. If used in conjunction with his summons, he can create massive monster of Hell, unlike anything anyone has seen before - beings of hell that call to the whim of Ravan. Even when used on beasts not of hell, if merged, they will be filled with an aura of Hell; so the duration of their merge is considered indoctrinated as a product of Hell and now answer to their master, Ravan.
» Loss of Free-Will: In minor cases, Ravan has been shown to able to not only take control of lesser demons, people or unfortunate bystanders, but actually control their bodily functions. Loss of Free-Will doesn't apply only to their mind, but it can also disrupt their normal bodily functions to cause an overflow of blood to the heart, clotting of blood or even destruction of bodies and organs. Although it's best to note this is limited to NPC's of around three tier of lower, when someone exceeds this, it can prove challenging for him to try and tap into their mind or existence and tamper with it. When it comes to full-blown other characters controlled by others, the will has shown to be almost too strong to tap into. Albeit he can input minor influences in them, this might include such things as hallucinations or cause nauseous feelings within them. It can be fought through with enough will, but it can definitely inhibit a fight when someone feels like their guts are being torn apart or seeing horrible scenes before them. This can also be applied to him, for example, if he were to even get so injured he couldn't move, he could pull his body like a puppet and continue fighting through controlling his own free will.
DAGI TVACA
» Dāgī Tvacā Name: Apavitra Aṅkhēṁ
» Dāgī Tvacā Appearance: Ravan's Tainted Skin is rather peculiar, as it does not actually take on the form of 'tainted skin' as the name suggests. It is not visible when not activated, but the his Tainten Skin's power comes from his eyes. On the opposite side of his eyes, there is nothing but darkness and abyss of nothing. Instead of tearing out his eyes, Ravan's Apavitra Aṅkhēṁ literally grabs onto his eyes and turns them inside out. By the time he has finished rotating his eyes, there will be nothing but pure black liquid leaking from his eyes endlessly. Once turned black, the viewers can no longer see any form or pupil or some form of centre to the eyes, but rather pure darkness. The eyes that leak onto his face aren't staining, however, and they usually fade into transparency or nothingness before they could reach his clothes. The Unholy Eyes are menacing for some people, but rather tame when you are a being born of Hell. Unlike some people whom might undergo immense changes appearance wise to show their new power, it's almost unnoticeable. If one is unfortunate enough to see this activated, then they best pray it's on their side and not aiming to destroy them.
» Dāgī Tvacā Powers: The Dagi Tvaca of Ravan comes in three phases. The first is abomination, the second is disaster, and the third being destabilization. Once his eyes have completely turned black, spun inside out, he has all these abilities at his will. It is important to note that the Dagi Tvaca, of all Rakshasa, cannot be activated without a portion of Hell being present and when fighting within Hell itself they are prone to be even more powerful with their Dagi Tvaca. With that said, this is by no means weak when used outside of Hell, after a portion of their layer has perhaps leaked out onto their battlefield.
» Abominations:
The abomination phase of his Tainted Skin is perhaps his bread and butter during fights. This allows him to not only be a well rounded fighter, but be so destructive that he could level civilizations but many methods. As one might imagine with the name "abomination", summoning or creating monsters is quite a simple task for him. The creatures summoned range in size, power and number depending on what Ravan wills - making not only perfect destruction, but powerful beings with unique attributes and abilities on the fly. An example might be summoning a horde of smaller ox like demons that can trample through the streets of a city, while another might be a giant figure that aims to crush sky scrapers in the shape of a man. The limitations of such a power lay in that he can only create creatures of destruction. Each beast he creates HAS to follow along the lines of abomination, therefor summoning such things as "healing" or "rebuilding" beings is not possible. Obviously when beings are summoned, depending on their capabilities and overall strength or number, this will take an immense toll on Ravan. This is to say he couldn't continuously summon creatures of Hell endlessly without EVENTUALLY falling prey to his own lack of energy.
» Disaster:
Similar to how his abominations can only be created as beings of pure destruction, the same goes for the ability "disaster." The best way to describe this ability is to be the opposite of a miracle, as Jesus from the Christian doctrine was shown to perform. Ravan performs the direct opposite, meaning that most, if not all, means of destruction can become available to him on a large scale. Imagine an explosion appearing out of mid air, right atop of someone, or a plague of disease showing and ravaging a city for all it's worth. A lightning storm to rain death from the skies, a giant weapon of power to strike from the skies, or even something as simple as a weapon for himself. The one and only prerequisite behind it is that it has to have the potential, or horrendously horrible concept, that it would cause massive amounts of destruction.
However, it isn't just about summoning or creating things from mid air. This ability also is capable of warping his own body, meaning that he could create things like giant clawed, demonic hands from all over him - or something of similar effect. Turn his own face into that of the jaws of some demonic shark, devouring all those within his path or similar effects as one might imagine. This is only on a smaller scale during his Dagi Tvaca, but it should not be taken lightly in the slightest. Each body part that's warped, each piece of destruction materialized can have their own effects not tied down by the laws of chemistry, or what they SHOULD represent. For example, If Ravan warped his own body to be that of a clawed arm, he could add a poison aspect to it at will. More powerfully, he could add it so when he strikes, waves of fire or spiritually crafted waves of pressure to erupt from him. Another might be if he strikes with said claw arm, but the strike is more than a thousand times the size of his own body. If one were to imagine destruction incarnate, that would be this ability. The power to not only create what destruction he wants, but with very few limitations - making him the literal embodiment of carnage and death itself.
The limitations of such an ability are... quite severe for Ravan. Whilst a lot of this power is fairly simple and non taxing upon his energy in and of itself, the real problem comes in when he physically deforms himself. As you might imagine, every time he warps his body, he is not immune to the pain he feels. If he is consistently warping his body and changing how this power works, he is literally bending and removing some bones, tearing skin off of himself and making room in places where a normal human shaped body would not have. Obviously this would get extremely taxing over time, while his pain endurance is high and he's very capable of handling a lot of the pain - the more he fights using this, the more he will be taxed and the pain become too much. Even for someone as strong as Ravan and his power revolves around this, he is not immune to his own mutilation. However, at the same time, this makes attacks on him that sever and obliterate body parts hard to perform in shutting him down. A double edged sword, for the most part.
When spawning said "disasters", a kind of dark floating energy appears in said location if but for a split moment before it happens. It must be noted that the limits to this also apply eye sight, meaning he can't spawn an explosion in the middle of someone's body and stuff like that. From a distance, one could see this as literally spawning anything demonic and destructive in nature, but it is more complicated than that. An example would trying to cause infernos of fire; whilst he could do this, he isn't immune to the said effects as well. Meaning he could very easily hit himself with some moves.
» Destabilization:
Destabilization is the third section of this power, rounding out the destructive properties. The most important part of this is how easily he can break down things, destabilizing not only structure or attacks, but some alive beings. Similar in fashion as to how he could summon and warp destructive properties into reality, the destabilization breaks down attacks, buildings or beings on a molecular level and more or less pull them apart, speeding up the process of already growing degradation. To imagine this, think thousands of years into the future. A buildings supports begin to crumble, the concrete falling away and eventually toppling over. This is how the power works, speeding up that process to be NOW, he can crumble supports of structures, collapsing buildings on people in the simplest terms. In some instances, he can destabilize abilities like Cero to explode before it reaches him, or similar abilities. However it must be noted it's not that simple to just shut down abilities coming at him like that. It requires a lot of focus, especially if the attack is on a large scale. If he were to try that, it could already hit him before he rips it apart. A lot of the time, during his Dagi Tvaca, this will be a constant vibrant around his body - meaning bullets that are shot at him, or something like cars or concrete blocks simple degrade and disappear upon reaching.
To degrade a creature, or character, is on another level however. When the beings are powerful, it is virtually impossible for him to degrade their fabric like the structures and abilities without sentience. At the most he might be able to do it to an extremely weakened and upon their death bed character, or perhaps use it to destablize small bones every so often when people try to punch or strike, causing the limb to fall loose and mess their attack up. It's important to note that the person would feel this effect happening to them and give them time to respond to it respectively such a reinforcing it or cancelling the attack entirely.
» Shadow Grasp: There's something key to note about Ravan's Dagi Tvaca, that being the application of Darkness. Due to how Ravan's layer of Hell remains dark at all times, this is partially for a new portion of his Dagi Tvaca to emerge. If he activates this on Earth at night time this can also be used, or anywhere where Darkness is prominent (making Hueco Mundo perfect candidate too) he can control the darkness around him. Now, the best way to note this 'control of darkness' is that he can cause it to move and create new effects, causing hands to raise from the ground and pull a person into pure pitch black darkness, consuming their entire bodies with corrupted Darkness. Although, being thrown into darkness itself isn't exactly the extent of this ability. To go with this, when one is wrapped up inside of the darkness their skin would feel akin to being slashed over and over again from claws of a beast. Due to the effect the darkness has over one's body, one might even begin to hallucinate from the darkness encompassing their bodies. It can seek to enter their minds and drive them to a breaking point, throwing them over the edge to insanity. Albeit this can be broken as would any other psychological effect, with enough will power and overcoming it that way, or other ways one might be able to break a psychological effect, this is just a add-on to the slashing effect. Whilst the claws may also not be visibly attacking the enemy, Ravan has described this ability akin to "If you dug a blade under your arm's skin and constantly sliced upwards until there was nothing but flesh and blood where the arm once was", this is what the pain would feel like, leaving behind nothing but blood and bone.
Because of this darkness, if all sources of shadow, darkness and such is taken away, this ability becomes nil - a non factor. If one were to understand this power enough, it can easily be shut down. Darkness isn't the main power of Ravan, therefor this comes as a more niche power - however it should not be underestimated. Structures, hands grasping at people, weapons are all part of this power. Mostly this power can be used to "slow people down" or make them slow enough that his other attacks might land on the enemy.
PIECE OF THE DEVIL
» Tukaṛā Saitāna Name: Arka Dānava (आर्क दानव) is the Hindi word for Arch Demon, also known as Ravan's Tukara Saitana. Due to the level of transcendence he undergoes, Ravan's body literally becomes what he describes as the Arch Demon of the Hell. Due to the rarity of this release, nobody has seen it's existence outside of Deveta and Death. Along with the transformation of his Hell Beast, it is indeed a fearsome form for once to witness.
» Tukaṛā Saitāna Appearance: The most important thing to notice about the Tukara Saitana is that he does not change appearance. There is no effect of transcendence or any form of powerful explosion to signify he has changed. The only thing that happens is his eyes completely bleed over. A layer of dark red blood drips down his cheeks. Once the eyes bleed over and the blood falls away, his once normal (or black, if previously using Dagi Tvaca), his eyes go completely white. If one were to stab or attempt to gouge these, unless used with immense force of some unstoppable force, his eyes would absorb the hit like a rock falling into water. If someone were to stab him there, it would eat the blade like it was nothing. The only time these white eyes change is when he activates some of his abilities, which will be explained below. When these abilities are being activated, his eyes turn completely black, similar to how his eyes during the Dagi Tvaca are. The only noticeable difference is they instantly start bleeding and consistently drip down his face and clothes until the ability is deactivated.
While Ravan technically didn't choose for this to be his appearance during the Tukara Saitana, he believes there is no need for dramatics to ascend to a form of power. The one thing he learned during the time alone in Hell was that he will not be someone who flaunts his ascendance. He is more than comfortable crushing those weaker than him and flaunting his power, but if he is forced into this form? The situation must be very dire - dire to the point where there is no other choice.
» Tukaṛā Saitāna Powers: The most important thing to note about the Tukara Saitana ascendance is that there will not be any loss of powers, even his Dagi Tvaca is activated as a permanent in this form. Atop of all previous skills remaining within his Tukara, all of the powers are more powerful, in that they are more potent and allows for much crazier things to be created specifically with his disaster manipulation and abominations. Take into consideration the power of his Tainted Skin outside of this form, it is already an incredible power capable of massive destruction. Whatever he can perform in that state at maximum capacity, when performed in this form, is three times more potent than normal. If he were to create a creature of Hell, it could potentially be triple in size, strength and health than the previous beings in normal state.
Grim Reaper Physiology: Whilst not a 'power' in essence, Ravan takes to the idea of a Grim Reaper. He is now able to feed off death no matter where it may happen. Death that is occurring in Demon World, Death in Soul Society, Earth or anything. It doesn't matter where or how it occurs, if it occurs, he can now feed off of it. Allowing his activation of his changing body at his own will. The best way to imagine this is him being the grim reaper, as long as there is death going on around the world, he will be able to live off of it. He is capable of using this power not only to give him a massive boost in strength, but keep himself rejuvenated and consistently fight. This even has a limit though, and his energy is not limitless. If he is fighting in such a heightened invigorated state, it will eventually have a low in which all the pain and energy spent takes a toll on his body. Due to this, he can also no longer be considered alive. He is neither considered alive or dead, he takes on the same existence of Death itself. Not dead, for death cannot die, but not alive because death cannot live. For this reason, even if he his destroyed and his body is nothing but ash, he technically still hasn't died, just not conscious.
As you might imagine, this now means that his death passive of feeding off the death of those around him is now on a global, and multi-dimensional scale. As death will be happening everywhere in all dimensions, this is a substantial increase into his physical prowess upon activation. If aligned at the same time as massive scale event, something like the Australian war in which massive amounts of deaths have occurred, he becomes at the peak of his being, feeding off that power. So more or less, it's all about timing and choice of activation, more or less. The right moment.
Regenerative Healing: As the name suggests, Ravan is capable of growing back completely new limbs if they are removed. Atop of this, he is also capable of regenerating organs that are blown apart. It is important to note that if he were to consistently fight and be blown apart, it would tax on him heavily - even with the heightened pain endurance he undergoes. To completely obliterate Ravan is to remove not only every trace of himself, but also his Hell Beast. Due to his natural capability to morph his body into drastic and terrifying creations, there is almost nothing he couldn't regenerate from. The problem with this regeneration lies not in the efficiency but in how much it can slow him down. It is not uncommon for Ravan to have to stop all actions for tens of seconds just to keep regenerating. Most of the time, however, stuff like an arm or leg can be mended on the fly, as he fights. It's important to know that the healing is for going back into his human body. If he were to create a demonic arm after one was blown off, he could use that until his regeneration could give him back said arm.
» Pain Suppressant: Due to the overwhelming and damaging formation of his power, Ravan's pain endurance sky rockets when this form is activated. It get to the point where he can nearly feel next to no pain. It is important to note he CAN be injured; but the rest of his body fights back to ignore the pain. Due to the bending and morphing of his own body, this is a needed thing. Unlike some people who morph their body, it is not so simple as to ignore pain, since he is literally twisting bones to do so. This is a trait actually given to him from his Grim Reaper Psychology, as one would not associated the grim reaper, or death, as feeling pain from anything that ANYONE could use on them. Another reason in which he considers himself closer to death than any other being.
» मॉर्फ (morph): The main attribute of Ravan's Tukara Saitana, and the most obvious, is how immense his body morphing becomes. Similar to how his Dagi Tvaca is capable of morphing parts of his body, this is taking it to the next level where he can turn his entire body into any demonic and Hellish looking being he wishes. This is to say he can still turn his arm into claws of a beast, morph his face, but now turn his entire body into that of a towering, powerful giant Hell demon covered in certain different offensive and defensive weapons. If one were to try and fight him in this state they would without a doubt encounter a plethora of different defenses. The most important thing to remember about this state is the versatility of it, meaning he can create something as simple as spikes covering his body to avoid physical contact or even something more demonic looking like jaws and teeth all over his body to catch fists and crush them with demonic power as they hit the area. When the body transforms, it is virtually instantaneously. However, if one were to slow it down, you would see his body being deformed and twisted. Bones would crush, bend, skin would curl and spin and change colour to fit into the shape he was making.
» True Demon Eyes: A smaller but effective trait he has gained from tapping into Hells energy is that he can now see through the vision of any demonic entity that is around him. This is to be said he could see through the eyes of a Hell Beast that is roaming the area around him, another Rakshasa or demon in general. There is a limitation however, since this is more of a mental attack than anything, a demonic entity he is facing can break this with relative ease, and also sense that it is happening. It might not be obvious what is going on, but once this is figured out? It can be broken. Other than that, however, this allows Ravan to have pseudo omni-vision. This also means his brain goes into overdrive in processing all of these images at once, something which one might consider impossible. This has to be concentrated into a specific area however; meaning that he cannot instantaneously look through the eyes other demons within another realm. The limit on this is within ten kilometers. This is more of a practical skill rather than a powerful fighting skill, however it can be good for seeing surprise attacks, too. If someone tried to get the drop, he can see all things around him by seeing through all of their eyes. The most important part is - he can do it through things from Demon World and Hell without them being alive. So he could see through fabrics, or buildings, that have come from that realm; making anything that has spawned from demon world a potential for his vision. If he's fighting with Hell and Demon World? Anything can be his eyes, making the home-ground advantage of Rakshasa even more powerful.
» Evolving: Another main aspect of this final form is Ravan's ability to evolve to the area around him. This power allows him to adapt to virtually any situation he is thrown into; things like water breathing and poisoneous effects. A good example of this would be if someone infected him with a poison, after a short while, the poison would eventually become another aspect of his body. This is to say his body would evolve to acclimate the poison as to just another aspect of his body. This is a good defense against such attacks, but also allows him to adapt to environmental changes such as removal of breathable air. It is best to note it doesn't reverse the effect in itself, and he can only acclimate to one thing at a time. This is a flaw in the power, making him vulnerable to multiple types of attacks within quick succession before he can flush a poison out of his body for example, or acclimate to the environment around him one at a time. He is known to become totally deformed as a result of this power, often his adaptations demonically twisted, even without using his body morphing techniques.
Another good use for this evolution based power lies in his ability to acclimate to certain types of attacks, meaning that if he were to be consistently attacked by a fire magic, his body would work on making it so that he can not only withstand the attacks or the heat, but in some cases actually negate the attacks on him all together. It's all about repetition, the more an ability is used on him without weaving in new attacks or different ideas, the more his body acclimates to it. It is super important to note that he can still only evolve into one thing at a time, meaning for someone that weaves different kinds of attacks, from fire to ice or physical to spiritual for example, is super effective against this evolution based power. However, he does not pertain the defense for said attack once he switches to another evolutionary form. This is to say if he has evolved to reject fire, and is now attacked with ice, his body will instantly switch to acclimating to ice, removing all trace of the fire defense, needing to build up a resistance again.
» Ingestion: Consumption is another major force of this final form, as he is capable of twisting himself into all horrible forms of demonic entities, a lot ranging in sizes of small buildings to sky scrapers, he had developed a power of ingestion. This is to say he is able to consume many of different objects, beings and even spiritual attacks or entities. By using the morphing power, he can drop a jaw and consume many of things, a lot of items reducing into nothing but rubble and obliterated into spiritual energy. In terms of pure one on one combat this wouldn't see much use, however when consuming large quantities or looking to destroy, for example, a city block or large amounts of people too. Although this is NOT useless is one on one combat, a lot of the time he will bite the limb off of someone and ingest that. If ingested properly, it will either be completely destroyed, or turned into something much worse.
Not only can ingesting beings or structures be destroyed, but when devoured they add themselves to Ravan's arsenal. This is to say if he ate a car, for example, he could incorporate his own body morphing with the materials of that car, slamming it into people or attempt similar effects with it. The same can be said for limbs or people eaten, if he ate an arm that was empowered with an effect (for example fire or ate a cero) he could digest that within his demonic stomach and turn it into an offensive attack. He would be able to light his arms or different properties he has morphed on fire, or shoot the cero right back at the user. The only problem here is that he /must/ be able to devour said thing, and must do it swiftly. Sometimes it can cause him pain and time to digest certain things, allowing openings in his defense. It is also important to note he does not keep this powers by eating things, it is a one time use until he has morphed again, or in the case of eating a cero/kido/blast like attack, one time use.

THE CALM HELL BEAST
Saphēda and Kālā Vespara
रं ग दा रा क्ष स
रं ग दा रा क्ष स
BEHIND THE MASK
» Name: Saphēda and Kālā Vespara are the two names of Ravan's Hell Beasts, or Naraka Janavara. These two names are taken from the Hindi words "white and black." Just as their name states, Saphēda takes on the appearance of white hair and white jumper, black shorts. Kala has taken on the appearance of black hair and black jumper, with white shorts, just like her name states.
» Age: Saphēda and Kālā Vespara did not come into creation until around a hundred years past Ravan's own birth from Deveta, making her around 350+ years old. Explained in Ravan's history, Saphēda and Kālā were created for the purpose of filling a void in Ravan as he evolved his own species over hundreds of years.
» Gender: For the most part, Saphēda and Kālā is female in appearance. Albeit when the Tukara Saitana is active, they begin to take on a more a-gender appearance, having no physical gender or sex to the naked eye.
» Occupation/Affiliation: Aside Ravan, Saphēda and Kālā are usually found within the lowest layer of Hell, by Ravan. Although they have been found to go through other layers, layer 665 is their home layer and the place in which they will return to his side.
Like Ravan, they hold no affection or admiration towards any other demons of Demon World or Shadow Fall, they simply exist as their own being and the partners of Ravan. They are not seen as 'pets' or 'underlings' to Ravan, but rather someone whom is of close relations, partners whom look at each other on equally footing, respectively.
» Residence: Just like Ravan, these two Hell Beasts take up the bottom layer of Hell right before layer 666. They sit at Ravan's side as rulers of this realm. Ravan, Sapheda and Kala are the only three beings to exist within this world of darkness. Unlike any other layer, they are alone. Unlike any other layer - they are considered kings of their domain and Hell itself. The throne he sits on takes THIS appearance.
UNDERSTANDING A BEASTS MIND
» Calm and Collected: Unlike Ravan, Sapheda and Kala are two beings that pride themselves on their ability to understand and censor their feelings at a whim. In most situations, they remain calm and almost emotionless - their calmness runs so deep that it can be considered almost abnormal. Even in the face of something drastic or terrifying, or if they got an arm cut off or something; Kala and Sapheda would both have the attitude of: "Oh, I see." They rarely show pain, anger or any form of negative emotion let alone positive ones. Happiness? Sadness? Anger? Depression? These are feelings felt within their hearts, for every living being has these. However they do not wish to show them or express them in an outward manner. But suppressing these emotions on the outside, they both had quickly learnt ways to control the way they acted; even from their moment of creation. Their only person to talk to was each other and Ravan, so what was the point of expressing their emotion when Ravan already knew them in and out? Even if not showed, Ravan could tell when these two were undergoing such things as depression and confusion, anger and so forth. By controlling their calmness and being collected, Sapheda and Kala have found themselves capable of giving off a scary vibe as well, using their casualness to their advantage and sometimes even striking fear into the hearts of those whom oppose them.
» Witty and Vulgar: When they do speak in their monotone like voices, Sapheda and Kala often use their actions to make crude and sometimes "seemingly" harmless statements. An example of this would be them ripping out the ribs of an opponent and saying, "hey, you dropped these" showing them their ribs before they even notice it was missing. This also coincides with their wittiness, showing that they're extremely quick when it comes to speaking and replying to such advances. They are often found to think up and show types of crude statements on the spot, needing very little time to prepare for such a thing. Another way to look at this is their vulgar side, not caring in which way they might offend someone or hurt their feelings. They will use every reach of the language without limit, Demon and English languages. Like Ravan, they do not share any sense of formalities or codes of conduct. They simply act, without worry for the requests of others. Saying what they will, when they will, no matter whom it may hurt or offend. They view being offended so easily by words something petty and stupid, and not needed. Their general philosophy when it comes to it could be summed up as "Why should I care?" Why should they care if their words offend someone? The same could be said in return to them, they don't care. Trying to insult them? They'll just give you a blank stare. Sapheda and Kala do not care for the requests or words of people whom mean nothing to them.
» Unique and imaginative: As one might imagine from their previous personality traits, they are quite unique in their own way. They are not held down by anyone being stronger than them or that they might die in a situation, but rather live life how they wish, no matter the risks. Hand in hand with this is their imaginative side. They have been known to run rampant in their imagination, and even try to make said things a reality. This trait goes for both their battle-like lives and general everyday life. For battle and fighting, they have been shown to find unique and imaginative ways to crush their opponents. Whether this is by slowly engulfing their intestines through consumption or plucking their ribs out and gouging their eyes out one by one, they will always look for the "imaginative" route. Even for every day life, contrary to what Ravan is like, they will look for the imaginative way to do things. As Ravan prefers the logical method and ways to get things done best, they will find unique paths that some might not even consider. They had lived in their minds so long that they slowly developed these traits, whilst Ravan grew these traits backwards. Sapheda and Kala pride themselves on their imagination, their imagination being so vast and wild that they refuse to let anyone else restrict them as well.
»Dynamic and Deceptive: They are beings capable of extreme change, Sapheda and Kala being like two peas in a pod, exactly the same; sharing the same ideologies and opinions, and even change. They have been shown to be very adaptable to the situation. Not only adaptive in a physical sense, but they can change their way of behaving within the click of a fingers into almost any style when talking to others. It's not that they change themselves, but rather "adapting" to what they should be. This also goes hand in hand with being deceptive. As they can constantly change and shift the way they are, they are often found to be tricking others into situations or leading them down a false path. They are not beings of intense violence nor wishing death upon people, but even they can hold a sadistic outlook on their surroundings. Whether this is by them taking joy in their eventual leading to downfall of others or that they simply want to kill something, they use this both adaptive like personality and deceptive traits to twist, mock and often humiliate people until they are gargling on their own blood. By the same token, they are also very persuasive when it comes to general talk. If they were to try and talk to you and get you to do something, they would play tricks on the mind and emotions to try and make the most out of your usage before dumping you in the gutter and stomping you out.
POWERS OF A QUEEN
» Merged with Rakshasa?: These two are not merged, meaning they do not hold a portion of Ravan's strength. When the Tukara Saitana is activated, they remain separate beings.
» Naraka Janavara Abilities:
Tag-teamed fighting style: As they are twins, one might imagine they have a very refined fighting style each. When it comes to almost every combat situation, they will be using manouveres that require the two of them to strike in precision and cause intense assault through this means. This doesn't mean they cannot fight by themselves, they just prefer to overwhelm the opponent with chained attacks, constantly bombarding the enemy with a assaults from all angles. For this reason, they are deadly when facing a single opponent by themselves. Due to their intense speed and crushing blows, it is hard to not only land a hit on them whilst assault you, but even follow their movements. When fighting in unison, they are a force to be reckoned with, and it shouldn't recommended that someone try fight both of them together.
Unmatched Agility: Unlike most other Hell Beasts, these two twins pride themselves off both their tag-team fighting style, but also their ability to use their speed to tremendous lengths beyond most others can conceive. They have amazing reflexes, capable of dodging punches and even gun shots if under the right circumstances. They are most often to use their speed to make the enemy lose sight of them, followed by direct crushing assaults from their momentum, during the opponents blind spots. Their stamina is also high, making them an extremely tough opponent when it comes to outlasting and speed.
Strength: Despite their intense speed and agility, one might find is surprising that their strength is not dwindling into low amounts either. They are known to dish out amazing blows from their small bodies, crushing not only huge opponents in their wake, but leaving destruction behind as a result. However, unlike Ravan, they do not show this strength in abundance. They prefer to be refined and contained to themselves, making them not only beings of self control, but being very calm when compared to Ravan's intense and violent attitude. When combining their individual strength into an assault, Sapheda and Kala can dish out life ending blows if applied in the right way to the right person. Not something one would want to mess with.
Consumption: Just as Ravan's Tukara Saitana gains the ability of mass consumption, this is a rather passive ability for Sapheda and Kala. They are capable of taking all sorts of objects and feeding, the main being human bodies. They have been found to feast off different sorts of living beings bodies, be it humans, demons, etc etc. This is also a major usage in combat. They are not afraid to only bite someone, but consume an entire limb and rip it off with their teeth. Due to their nature being completely torn around consumption, Sapheda and Kala have shown to have incredible jaw and teeth power, being able to clench down on even something as big as an arm and completely tearing it from it's socket, ripping the flesh from it's joins and such.
Body deformation: Just as Ravan has the capability of twisting his body, these beasts have the ability to do the same -- just on a much smaller scale. As he can demorph his body into demonic things, Sapheda and Kala are generally capable of causing such things as large, two red tendrils to protrude from their back and use them as large weapons. They can shift these tendrils into almost any shape, taking on things such as a sword or a blunt weapon. But they can also use these to imitate object and such. Need something to unlock a door? Bam, you can imitate a key... not that it would ever be used that way. None the less, these two red tendrils each have the ability to cause drastic damage to their surroundings and other people if applied in the right way. Many uses for a bunch of damage as a result.
HELL BEAST'S TUKARA SAITANA
» Tukara Saitana Name: The form itself does not take on any actual name, but rather they gain a new name; Tero (Terror テロ)
» Tukara Saitana Appearance: When Sapheda and Kala ascend into their Tukara Saitana state, this entire bodies begin to bleed over, blood covering their entire bodies before merging together in their own blood, reforming this new being shown in the picture below. The appearance takes on a masculine like frame with white skin, and a white mask covering his face - huge teeth imprinted onto the front of it. It is best to note that they cannot speak, or show any emotion during this state.
» Tukara Saitana Powers:
Size Does Matter: Unlike previously, they gain a whole new idea for themselves. With their new form activated, Tero gains the ability to shift their size to beyond imaginable lengths. With this ability, they shift their own body mass into one of huge density, being able to go from anywhere from five metres tall to five kilometers tall and beyond. It has been said that Tero can reach over into the atmosphere and overlook the entire planet Earth if given the chance to use in the living realm, at maximum. This would shred their bones and their flesh beyond what is capable and completely annihilate Tero's body essentially, but it remains possible. So when this is used, Tero is often found to use devastating attacks as a result. With their combined strength, and their new found shifting of sizes and mass, Tero is capable of causing intense waste to kilometers and kilometers of land throughout their attacks. Mostly, their combat within this form is shown to be physical, slamming punches down from the heavens onto someone's head or decimating entire armies of forces with single blows. This idea also translates into the tendrils they could use prior to this state. Tero can now spawn four large tendrils that grow in proportion to his size, protruding from his back and slamming into things at his will.
The shifting of sizes can also go both ways, being able to shrink is body beyond that of his normal size. Normally, Tero stands at 6'8. With this? They can shrink even to the size of mice. This is hardly used as it is rather impractical, but it also makes them mobile as a result. When using a large size, Tero has shown to use incredible force and physical prowess more than anything else. However when he is also this size, he is obvious much more immobile. So rather than being able to dodge and weave out of attacks, his body and mass becomes more dense as a result of his size, making him even harder to get a cut through because of their Akuma Kyodo. However, he is practically a walking target right in front of you. If you can land a deadly blow, it will still do damage if applied right with enough force. He isn't invincible in that regard, not by a long shot. However it must be noted that he can snap his fingers and change size. One moment he could be huge and towering over everything and everything in the realm, or he could be shifting back down to his normal size of 6'8 for the purpose of fighting you on that level to avoid attacks, even. Never the less, with the bigger the size, the bigger his density and more defensive nature he takes on, whilst being able to dish out amazing attacks as a result of his size as well.
Swallow The World Whole: As an advanced section of their consumption method, Tero has now found himself able to consume much larger portions and is incorporated into the fighting style much more. Through this consumption method, when shifting in size, the massive teeth shown on the mask can open up and stretch to amazing lengths. When in a huge size, Tero has shown to be able to swallow up entire buildings, consuming such things as entire city blocks, deleting portions of cities by consuming them in the same way that Ravan has shown in his Tukara Saitana, just on a much smaller scale. Never the less, "Swallow the World Whole" is an ability that requires him to be at intense close range, having to get his face right up in it to be able to swallow the designated target. He has been known to chow down on humans whole, completely swallowing anything that stands in his path. In a way, this works similar to how Ravan's swallowing does; not deleting what he eats, but rather not taking on any effects of it. The best way to imagine it is that he has an advanced digestive system that doesn't require Tero to be defecating what he eats. Because of this advanced digestive system, it also means that what he consumes cannot poison him or cause any hidden effects on something he might swallow. This is different in the case of swallowing a character and they decide to slice him up from the inside, he is still prone to physical obliteration once swallowed. Rather, he doesn't get effected by such things as poisons, hidden effects in an object and so on and so forth.

This character is finished. As a result, I'll be moving him to unchecked. The Hell Beast will require it's own tier, as all Hell Beasts will.

Since the hell beast requires a separate tier, I'm gonna stamp Ravan's Hell Beast with a tier of 0-4++
I envy because of the heart.
