TheMaynard has returned but cannot stay. :(

Okay so I am new around here and ended up going ghost after a short while. I wanted to tell everyone why I disappeared. You see one day I was on my computer and it just shut off on me. Kinda like when you have no batter in a laptop. Which was my computer. A laptop with no working battery. Well this time when it shut off it wouldn't turn back on. It was like something came undone with the power button. Usually, I would get a click when I pressed it but this time it was like nothing was under the button. Long story short the computer fried its inside.

I always had a heating issue but I could never get anyone over at gateway. Which is by far the worst company to buy a computer from. I called them and they would hang up on me because I couldn't understand them. So it turns out the computer has a motherboard issue which could not be fixed. Also, the small heating problem was not so small. The computer had singe mark inside it. The metal had been died a bright red and on some parts was black.

Anyway, I do have a new laptop but I can't return just yet. I am trying to become a professional author and I lost a lot of my writing. I backed some of it up but around thirty thousand words was lost. Not to mention all the words that I have failed to put out because of not having a computer. So for about a week or two I will be playing catch up. I think if I really book it I can make it in a week or two. However, that is no easy task for me. So if I don't return in a week or two it is best to assume I am struggling with the word count.

Anyway, I figured since I just got my new computer I would tell all of you. I know I am so knew most of you really won't care. But, if there are a few of you that care enough to read this, thank you. I can't wait to return. I was really looking forward to giving this forum thing a try. Anyway, that is all. Good bye and I hope you all have a wonderful time.
