Eliah had begun to make a name for herself between all the squads. She seemed to be someone that was actually ''wanted'' in a good way for once in her life. It was as surprising to her as it was to anyone else, well maybe not those that seemed to be fighting over her. They more than likely saw something in her that she was unable to see in her self. It was hard for her to continue on like this, being all emotionally corrupted and what have you. From being in squad two to going to squad eight then having a request to join squad seven. She didn't know what to do. All of the Captains were considered to be ''good'' leaders, yet they all had their own flaws and Eliah was completely aware of them. With Wolf she knew that she would be content with her day to day life, but when it came to a feat that was too hard for her to accomplish she was unable to see Wolf stepping in to ensure the safety of her. Even if he did, it would be likely for her to receive some sort of beating afterward that could very well lead to the ending of her existence. However, she wasn't exactly aware of that before she joined. Either way, she was fine with the squad as she had a lot of down time to train and try to hone on her abilities. Not only this, but it left her with a good amount of time try and communicate with her Zanpakutō. Then there was Zeda, who really only wanted Eliah for what seemed to be her looks. Yeah, she'd probably be able to get away with a lot being in that squad, but she didn't want to take the easy way out as of right now. The fact that Zeda was a Yuudeshi as well seemed to lead Eliah to believe that he didn't really earn anything, it was just through good genes and a bit of effort that he was able to achieve his current position. Not only that, but she didn't exactly like him as of right now, and wanted him to prove to her that he was worthy to be one to be looked up to. That was the reason they were here after all. Well, one of them at least, but Eliah was so full of herself about the whole situation that she had began to forget that the two were nemeses before Eliah even showed up.

She walked slowly toward the direction of the arena where some sort of Eleventh Squad event was being held at. She wasn't too sure on the details of it all, but apparently the newly appointed 11th Squad Captain had organized some sort of event, or tournament, in order to find herself a new Vice Captain. It was something that seemed to be out of laziness to Eliah, but she wasn't really one to talk. She had just spent over one-hundred or so years on her ass not doing a damn thing, moping in her inability to gain in strength as if that was going to help her at all. As she approached the arena she was able to sense the reiatsu of the two as well as many others that were engaged into high caliber combat. Something that Eliah had never been exposed to.

She placed her hand on her chin as she began to ponder the reasons that made her feel as though she wasn't supposed to be here. After humming for a few seconds, continuing to move forward, she came the realization that she was told by Wolf to stay out of it. Which, at first she was going to, but after sitting in the barracks for a few minutes she decided that she wasn't going to be fought over from so far away. She figured that she at least had to cheer on of them on. That and she was just a nosy person, overall, so she liked to know what was going on as the results of the fight seemed to keep her on her toes.

Finally, she had made it to the observation area. She looked around and saw a group of people that was likely consisted of several captains, judging by all the white she was able to see. She decided that she had had enough of Captains for now and decided to walk in the other direction. Not to mention she was unsure if the other Captains knew whether or not she was banned from being there by her own Captain. She figured she'd hide out for now and just assume that Wolf was the same big mouth that he always was and told the other Captains to make sure she didn't come. Continuing off toward the other direction she made her way to begin viewing the high intensity match that was ahead.

"Ahhhhhhh! For a winter festival, it's too damn hot in here! Someone give me an automatic fan or something!" A lady-like voice echoed through the hallways of the Winter Festival stadium, the source being that of a red-haired woman. In her right hand was a Japanese style fan which was raised high to her face, fanning frantically as she was stumbling through the halls. On her arm was a vice-captain's badge, the badge showing her to officially be a part of the Gotei 13's Superior officers. This woman was none other than Nakami Yui, the Vice-Captain of the tenth division. What was someone like her doing here? Multiple theories could be thrown around, however the main one was duty. She believed that, as a vice-captain, she needed to attend functions like this. Nakami considered it "Normal" for the higher ups to come spectate their fellow Shinigami's decisions and even festivals. Although, normally, it wouldn't require two higher ups of the same division; Nakami had assumed Neviah would not show up in such a place. She didn't think that her captain and best friend would bother to show up out of fear, mostly from the males, but her timid personality made it seem like she was never going to show up in a place like this. However, it did make Nakami wonder for a moment -- perhaps she would be here, here for the fact of supporting Ibiki, captain of the eleventh division, in choosing her Vice-Captain from this.

The vice-captain continued to fan herself and walked hazily through the halls still, now onlooking at the massive entrance seemingly made of seki-seki stone to the arena. She stood there in awe, mouth slightly dropped and a big gulp of air taken before she finally decided to walk in. Instantly, her ears were filled with the noise of other Shinigami talking, the clashing of swords and powers and even the presence of two strong reiatsu's going at it. A soft smile came to her lips as she on looked at the scene. This wasn't a tournament where people fought each other out of hate or longing to kill, this was a tournament to showcase one's power and even make friend. It wasn't an aim to kill, no, it was much friendlier. The very thought of this made Nakami smile, quickly tilting her head and sighing, a slight phrase leaving her mouth during the sigh. "Typical of the eleventh division..." Picking her head up, Nakami would scan the surroundings. The first thing her eyes fell upon was the arena itself, a lot of room for each fighter to walk about and fight within. The next thing was crowds getting aggressive over the fighters, the two in the arena were simply battling it out, yet the crowd were screaming, yelling at the two. It wasn't out of hate, but purely for support of one side. Like most sports, really. These people were far too enthusiastic about the people fighting, but she couldn't help but let her signature smile cross her face.

She thought about this for a moment. Her past was filled with fighting, filled with the idea of leading a group into battle. Yet this was a... different atmosphere. A stronger one, in a way. It wasn't a field of battle defined by hate or negativity, it was a field of battle defined by passion, by common goals and comradery. This is why, even though everything within her looked down on fighting unless absolutely necessary, it still made her smile and respect those who decided to join in the event. She had known the pain of wanting to fight so much, she had nearly gotten killed because of that. Her past was filled with those sorts of emotions, negativity, near death experiences... yet they never broke her. Even growing up in the poorest districts of Rukongai and living off the scraps of those richer than her, that had not warped her sense of happiness or anger. Anger was not an emotion that came by simply with Nakami, and to push her to that point she was nearly impossible.

Finally, her ears were hit with another pitch. The voice was that of a relatively soft voice, even the very sound of it seemed like it was covered in gold. Twisting her head around, a huge smirk crossed her face. Within her vision was her captain, Neviah, talking to a friend of hers and introducing herself as if for the first time. Placing her Japanese style fan into the inner pocket of her Shihakusho, Nakami simply smiled and began wandering over, one hand now placed on her hip as she did so. "Well, I didn't expect Neviah-sama to actually show up here. It's good to see you've decided to, though." A hand was placed on Neviah's shoulder as Nakami simply towered over her, standing at a good 5'11", whilst her white haired captain was 5'1". Nakami's soft but radiance voice would fill the air, not even noticing the 'ice' woman before her for a moment, she simply was too fascinated with the surroundings. Then, like a torch shining into her eyes, she vision then twitched and fell upon the woman who Neviah was introducing herself to before.

"Eh? Who's this, Neviah-sama? A friend of yours?" As she said this, her hands would come together and be placed on top of Neviah's head. Then she would simply place her chin atop of her hands, using her captain as mantle of sorts, in a playful manner. Her ears would perk up and head tilted after her words, awaiting for Neviah's reaction as well as Eliah's.

"Are you here to watch the tournament or are you participating? I didn't know Neviah-sama was making so many friends recently, I'm proud of you." A small chuckle left her mouth, simply returning to waiting for a reply, resting atop of Neviah's head.

Eliah shifted her gaze around as she watched the combatants duel one another in tense and heated battles, but none of the others seemed to interest her. The sole reason she decided to waddle her way to the position she was currently in was to: one, piss her Captain off. Two, see who the victor of this emotion born battle would end. Eliah, while aware that the two would likely forget the reason at which this battle first sprawled, felt important. Two of the, considered to be, most powerful Shinigami in the Soul Society were caged up. Battling to no end in order to show who was the most worthy leader to have such a "star" pupil such as Eliah. However, one thing that seemed to dwell within the confines of her cranium was the history that the two once had with one another. She remembered as she looked back to that moment when Wolf spoke to Zeda with words that seemed to hold some sort of grudge to the name that Zeda carried with him. Though, this wasn't anything that was unusual for Wolf. Fighting someone because of what they represented due to past endeavors seemed to be something right up his alley.

Eliah walked solemnly, trying to keep her mind on any and everything but the white tails that filled a small area, but were easily picked out from the crowd of black guises. Attempting to play things cool as though there was nothing wrong with her current positioning on the map of Soul Society. She figured this way, no one would even question the reasons to her whereabouts. This way, she'd leave it up to Wolf and Zeda, if she was to decide to stick around that long for the fight, to decide what dumb extra duties she would likely have to do for disobeying Wolf's orders. This alone made her want to somewhat root for Zeda, but in all actuality she really hoped Wolf tore him apart and wanted to see it with her own eyes.

Continuing on her way to find a well crowded area she felt and odd presence that made her stop in her tracks. The presence was extremely familiar and caused her to let in a deep gasp of air as her eyes grew slightly large. She was keen to the presence as it was once something that had entered her body, a feeling that would be hard to forget. She had no idea what emotion she felt exactly toward the matter, she was tossed around by happiness and resent. Happy to see an old face, but resentful in herself and the other that she had lost touch with her for so long. She fiddled her fingers bringing them close to her chest as she slightly dropped her head to think about how she would react once the two engaged. She felt somewhat pathetic, she drew back memories of back then when she was so full of spunk and will to become better. It was the same person that she had just recently molded herself back into. It was apparent that since their last training session and the last time they had spoken to one another that no real progression had been made in her becoming the person that she had intended on being today, back then.

As her named rolled away from the lips of the pure white soul behind her she was slightly startled and stung by the own deliverance of her name, despite being fully aware of where her position lay. Letting her arms fall to her sides and bringing her head up, she mentally prepared herself to view a face that she had long remembered. One that she yearned to see when things seemed to be at their worst, but one that she never wished to have witness such events. Slowly turning a small smirk came upon her face when she realized that so much had changed in the girl that stood before her. A small and snark chuckle escaped Eliah's lips as she was proud of her friend, yet thought it was extremely ironic that her of all people was the Captain of any squad. Unaware of the news and still slightly startled by her appearance at such an event Eliah was curious as to what she was doing there, but at the same time she didn't want to ignore proper greetings. However, Eliah remembered that Neviah wasn't attuned to this loyal and obedient person that she had just recently become while under the wing of Wolf. She had a slightly smug look upon her face as she gazed upon the girl, she placed her hands on her waist and began to speak.

"Hah, who in their right mind let you become a Captain? I guess that new Captain Commander is a fool after all. I see you've still got that humble stutter, so I guess nothing has really changed but rank. Huh, Nev? I guess someone had to take over for those sorry excuses of Shinigami in the Fourth Division."

Eliah recalled the nickname that she once used with her, she knew that Neviah wouldn't feel as hurt if she finished her statement off with that. Which Eliah thought was weak, but hell she was able to beat the hell out of Eliah, so she didn't want to take things too far and blow her cover. Though she was happy for her friend, though it was displayed very well, she held a large amount of jealousy. While Eliah was over in the 2nd Division twiddling her thumbs being the laziest piece of existence to walk the grounds of the Seireitei, Neviah had became a Captain. However, she was unaware that it wasn't to the Fourth Division, that was just the position that Eliah had figured Neviah would take one day. Trying to pry herself away from the thoughts of her own failure she tried to continue on with conversation.

"So what br--"

Her words were cut short as yet another female presented herself in front of them. This one she was completely unfamiliar with, but according to the way she addressed Neviah and the Vice Captain badge she had on her arm it was obvious that she was beneath Neviah and served as her right hand. Once again jealousy struck Eliah as she wished that she had kept in touch and worked more diligently so that would be her with the badge on her arm. Sucking her teeth at the girl that walked forward she expressed an obvious bit of loath toward the redhead. Crossing her arms beneath her breasts, unconsciously pushing them away from the gravitational pull. She sized Nakami up as she spoke, and then shifted her gaze back down to Neviah who was now being used as a small prop for some corny high school picture.

"We're old...errm...friends. Just lost contact, I guess. Big place... lots of other people to tend to..."

Her words slightly drifted off as she tried to explain the two's relationship. Nakami spoke up once more, before Eliah could put anymore thought into the reasons as to why she felt such despair when it came to the situation of herself and Neviah. She brushed the thoughts off and recomposed herself, mentally, and sent a small, unreadable glare to Nakami and then rolled her eyes as she looked back to Neviah.

"I'm guess thing is your Vice Captain? She's nosy, huh? Whatever. No, I'm not here to participate, I'm just watching. The two fighting over there just so happen to be fighting because of things I seemed to have brewed. It's no big deal though."

She pointed her finger to the area that Wolf and Zeda fought briefly, as she spoke in her usual, disturbed tone. For a small moment she lost herself in viewing the fight trying to find out who had the lead, but was unable to determine the answer. Bringing herself back to the two she figured she prod them for answers herself.

"So what's the deal? What are you two doing here? I know you're not participating, Neviah."

Laughing at the thought of Neviah partaking in such an event she placed her brow into her hand which propped itself up on the other as her whole body seemed to bounce as she silently chuckled to herself.

Nakami couldn't help but feel intrigued by these two women every time they opened their mouth. Nakami had grown fond of Neviah throughout their many years of being friends, even managing to become her Vice-Captain in the long run. The two of them had become great friends, not just holding a captain and Vice-Captain relationship. In fact, in many instances, outside viewers of their relationship would assume that it was the opposite way around. With Neviah constantly calling Nakami her 'senpai' on accident, it was easy to confuse their positions. Resting atop of Neviah's head, Nakami smiled softly for a moment. It wasn't done to make her feel above her captain, nor to dwarf her in size, but rather just a playful gesture shared between friends. Yet only at the last moment had Nakami realised her large bust was pressed up against the back of Neviah, resting just atop her shoulders and back. Shifting her vision by leaning forward slightly, the vice-captain would notice her glowing bright red. At first, Nakami had thought it was simply her growing flustered or scared from the sudden drop of a five foot eleven woman atop of her, softly. Upon further inspection, however, it seemed that her breast pressing up against her was the main cause. In the end, she couldn't change their size, so it was something that'd just need to be moved on from.

As she was shaken off from atop of her captains head, Nakami's chin had suddenly dropped, having her platform removed. A slight 'hm' echoed from her mouth as she rubbed the bottom of her chin. She had looked at Eliah now, she had been introduced as someone she trained in the past 100 years. Yet she was surprised by this, not because of Neviah having friends outside of her knowledge, but more because she has actually never heard of this woman in her life. Yet she couldn't help but let a small smile overcome her, the stuttering in her initial sentence made everything clear to Nakami. Perhaps she shouldn't have shown up here, perhaps it was a wrong decision to interfere in whatever exploits Neviah and Eliah were up to. If her captain was here, that meant she'd be able to go home as a representative of the 10th Division was already here. Sighing to herself, she'd simply look at the iced woman before her eyes and then shift towards Neviah. She didn't want to be the burden on this meeting, yet she would at least apologise to these two.

"I'm sorry, Neviah-sama, Eliah-san. It wasn't my place to just throw myself into the middle of your conversation like that. It was not my intention." A soft smile would still cover her mouth as she would now bow to either woman, right arm crossing her chest in honour. Making her body upright once again, she would then look towards Eliah after being introduced, the fan placed inside her Shihakusho earlier being brought out and placed in her left hand, fanning her face once again. "I apologise if I have intruded or made you uncomfortable, Eliah-san. If you wish me to, I will let you two be. As for your question, I am here merely as a representative of the tenth division. Had I known Neviah-sama would show up herself, I would not have bothered myself." Looking at her fan for a minute, a soft sigh would overcome her. Perhaps she was being too intrusive, as Eliah had said. Perhaps she was out of place. Making Neviah visibly uncomfortable and putting her friend on edge was not on her agenda, but in the end, that was the past. She needed to move on from such things if they were to continue forward. It was no surprise Nakami thought this, however. That was her general psyche. Ever since being saved by a white-haired man as a child, the very man who gave her inspiration to be a shinigami in the first place, she had this mentality. To dwell on the past was the equivalent of cutting open old scars, they would never truly heal unless one let them be.

Walking down to the side of the ring, Nakami simply placed her hands on her chin, using her elbows like a stand, not unlike to what she did to Neviah but a few moments ago. Her vision would fall upon the beginning of the fight. They were fairly close to the battle, so it was very possible for Nakami to observe the fight as well as hear the conversation. "It is a deal for us, slightly, Eliah-san. Wolf is known for is erratic behaviour. Even as spectators, we need to be on edge, or it's likely we will be dragged into the battle none the less. I was in the sixth division at the time that man decided it was a good idea to fight and blow most of it up. I know what he is capable of, don't take him lightly. Just stay ready to defend yourselves and those around you at any cost. As for Zeda... that man is a Yuudeshi. I believe we are all capable of appreciating what kind of destructive power he holds within him. He may not be as manic or insane as Wolf Lionus, but Zeda is powerful." A soft sigh yet again crossing her face, followed by a reach into her pocket, pulling out a small bottle of water. Taking a sip, she would remain leaning over the edge, simply looking onwards at the destruction brewing. She couldn't help but feel this fight would get out of hand quickly, and that no matter what anyone did, intervening in the fight would be a near impossible feat.

The analysis of Nakami wasn't wrong. She was knowledgeable about those around her, she withheld a lot of information within her, not only about the Seireitei, but as a division that was to deal with the 'real world', she had to store a lot of information. It wasn't a matter of who would win the fight before them, it was a matter of when would it stop? Turning her body around and leaning against the railing, Nakami tilted her head and looked at the two of them again. "Which squad do you reside in, Eliah? I'm surprised I've never seen you before... Once I see a face, I never forget it."

Chicks before Dicks. [[Observation Group A]] Empty Re: Chicks before Dicks. [[Observation Group A]]

Sun Mar 30, 2014 4:32 am

Eliah watched as Neviah began to grow red in the face as she come to notice Nakami's breasts were pushed against her back. Which was the typical Neviah and caused Eliah to roll her eyes in embarrassment that this woman was considered to be her one and only friend within the Gotei 13. However, it was slightly odd that she still even considered Neviah to be a friend to her as there was so much that Eliah wanted to be answered. However, this wasn't the proper time or place to begin conducting an investigative interrogation on what happened to Neviah so many years ago. She had no hard feelings on it, and just wanted things to go smooth with this meet and greet. She was already stressed enough about the fight that was taking place at the moment, as it held the future to which division she would be entitled to.

Neviah returned from being embarrassed due to her friend's back ache now becoming a back irritation for Neviah and began to extend formalities between Nakami and Eliah. Eliah was slightly baffled when Neviah said that Nakami was her Vice Captain as at first glance she didn't seem like the squad 4 type, but when she stated that she was in the 10th Division Eliah couldn't help but blurt something out concerning the matter.

''What the hell is this new Captain Commander thinking? Why are you the captain of the 10th Division you're not even capable of scaring a cat out of your path.''

Eliah spoke with excitement and slight frustration, not understanding how any of that could be possible. Nakami sent a bow her way as well as Neviah's which only struck an arch in the brow of Eliah, and brought her attention away from the previous matter. It wasn't often that Eliah was being bowed to, but she figured she'd just go with it as she performed a semi-proper bow to the girl in front of her. The red head continued on apologizing for intruding which made Eliah chuckle lightly as she listened to the rest of what she had to say. She offered to leave, which didn't seem like a bad idea to Eliah, seeing as she wasn't a big fan of people in general. However, she figured a friend to Neviah could be interesting to see for herself as she thought to be a rare occasion.

''No, you're fine staying where you are, fire crotch. I'm actually rather tickled at the fact that Neviah managed to obtain yet another friend. Turns out she's starting to become quite the social butterfly... Has this sort of thing became habitual for you, Neviah?''

Eliah spoke small bursts of laughter finding their way into her speech here and there. The situation was odd that was present in front of her, she had never witnessed Neviah with anyone but herself due to her social anxieties and tendencies. It made Eliah feel a bit better about what memories she recalled while she was training, and let her cast those thoughts to the side for now. Turning to Neviah as she began to spoke, but stopped herself as Nakami began to speak and took in what she had to say. Eliah must have been in a good mood today, as she was being quite the listener. She explained the two combatants as though Eliah was unaware of their skill, well she was for the most part, but she could have guessed by the just glancing over at the battle. Nonetheless Nakami was correct, if they didn't want to get swept up by this it would be wise for them to pull away from the source. Now seemed to be the best time to explain herself to Neviah in regards to the battle that was underway.

''Well, you see... just a few months ago I went to get a drink at the pub, but turned out it was shut down. So I went back into the walls and found a pub that resided in here. Which I didn't even know existed, mind you, or I would have went there to begin with. Either way, I walk inside and Captain Wolf is sitting there drinking God knows what something dark and strong, you'd vomit if you were within 10 meters of an open container, Nev. Anyway, so we start talking and...''

Eliah paused for a second to withdraw a cigarette from her person, placing it in her mouth and lighting. Blowing the cloudy cancer into the air away from Neviah and her friend. She couldn't resist pulling one out as she began to speak of drinking alcohol, it was just a trigger was all. It wasn't something Neviah was unfamiliar with, but still didn't like.

''Turns out over the time we hadn't talked or anything I became the world's biggest sack of shit and didn't do anything. Well, it wasn't all my fault apparently, because I wasn't being given the correct pushes to do anything. Anyway, Wolf and I spoke and then soon enough here I am in the Eighth Division.''

She continued to take puffs between her sentences and then laughed at the end of her last sentence. Her face then drew blank as she came upon the astonishing fact that that didn't even answer Neviah's question.

''Well, that doesn't really explain much, I suppose. Ok, so then a month or so after that I had regained some of my gun-ho Gotei Go style that I once had, back when you and I were training, did I mention I had completely forgot all that training during that brief time of being a lard ass until recently? Yeah, ok so, I met Zeda not too long ago, and he treated me like a piece of meat as he does with every woman, I can guess, and then asked me to join his squad. I kind of got mind-fucked for a little while there and then broke down into tears and I couldn't handle the battle going on in my head. Then out of no where Wolf shows up and wants to know where I am going to hold my loyalties to him or Zeda. I couldn't decide so they decided to fight for it, and yeah I'm sure there is more to their relationship than that, but that's why I'm here and that's why they're here and yeah.''

Eliah gasped slightly trying to find some air after she had just spoke at a rate of 0-60 in seconds then took a long drag from her cigarette and exhaled, trying to keep the smoke from making its way to Neviah and Nakami. Something she used to not really care about. Finally, Nakami asked a question where she resides, most likely not hearing most of what she was saying or just being confused by the long story in a whole and Eliah's inability to summarize properly.

''Well, as of right now I guess I'm with Wolf, but that may or may not change depending on the outcome of this fight... I could say the same for you, however. I've heard of you, neither, so don't get so high and mighty there, 'Vice Captain-sama-senpai'''

Eliah mocked the girl as she felt slightly insulted by the question to start of with, whether Nakami meant to insult or not. Eliah's guards were just always up for one reason or another...

Nakami kind of felt uncomfortable in this situation. She was surrounded by two women whom hadn't seen each other in over a hundred years or so, yet Nakami was sat by Neviah's side for about just as long. There wasn't a doubt in the Vice-Captain's mind that she was one of the best friends to Neviah, that she was always going to be there for her. Yet... she still felt uncomfortable. Her exchange of words, observing the two men fighting below, were filled with a shy tone. That was not normal for Nakami, as even in the toughest of situations, she was a woman known to have intense strength, not only in power, but in mind. She was an unbreakable woman mentally, she was the happiest person she knew and Nakami wished to keep it that way. This situation, however, she felt she wasn't needed. This was a meeting of old friends, and Nakami just managed to stumble across it. Nakami thought to herself that maybe the blue haired woman was trying to be nice and not tell Neviah's Vice-Captain to leave, or as she would say, "fuck off."

This was mainly picked up upon by Nakami for her skills at reading situations. As her job entitled her to hold a lot of information about key individuals, historical events in the human realm and generally keep tabs on all realms, she was very good at interpretation and reading of situations. The red haired woman sighed to herself softly, only those within a few metres would notice it among all the commotion. Tilting her head back, her gaze then drew to the sky as she let her mind wander. She thought about Eliah's situation, for the most part. Her head remained tilted upwards as Eliah spoke, letting the faint voice of the story hit her ears. It seemed like a tragic one, that she had been dragged into this fray by Wolf and Zeda, purely because 'they wanted a member to their division.' That thought made Nakami sick to her stomach, fighting for someone like a piece of meat. Leaning up off the railing, she'd throw her arms back and stretch, her large bust being pushed forward momentarily. Walking back to the two, Nakami simply let a soft smile cross her face, eyes closing as she did.

"It sounds like you've had it rough, then. But it's funny you say that about Neviah finding another friend..." Nakami paused for a moment and opened her eyes, a strong red aura filling them. Her gaze now drew to Neviah as the smile got even stronger. "I owe my life to Neviah-sama. It's a long story, but if I was brought to anyone else, I wouldn't be here today. Neviah is the very reason I am alive, there is nothing I could do in this world to repay such a debt that she had given me." As she finished talking, she let silence ensue for another few seconds before chuckling lightly and rubbing the back of her neck. "Haha, well, I'm not her friend just because she saved me. But that is how we met, mostly with me covered in blood, sitting in a hospital bed. It wasn't a nice sight... but it allowed me to know Neviah and become friends with her, so it has it's benefits I guess." Lowering her hand, she'd place it softly in her outfits pockets and let her smile fade back into her neutral, calm face. Nakami had seemingly shrugged off the comment of Eliah naming her 'fire-crotch', not letting something stupid like that offend her, but rather roll with it.

After all, that was the very person Nakami was. If she were to find even an enemy who needed help, she was the type of person to aid them. Obviously not if she was fighting them, but a lone demon dying or helpless? Nakami was the type of shinigami that couldn't resist such a thing. She needed to help people, that was her calling in life, a little confusing as to why she didn't join the fourth division for that exact reason. Yet she was content where she stood, and that was by Neviah's side as her Vice-captain. Nothing could waver her from that position -- it was her home, where she belonged.

Turning her attention to Neviah as she spoke, a spark lit in her mind. Neviah brought up the point of having an open position for third seat in the tenth division. It hadn't occurred to Nakami until now, but she was right. So as Neviah addressed the red haired shinigami with that question, she replied with an abrupt and loud yell. "AHHHH! YES!" A few seconds passed before she realised how loudly she just spoke, as a result raising one hand to cover her mouth afterwards. "Erm, I mean, the Tenth Division does have the third seat available yes, Neviah-sama. We would be glad to accommodate you, Eliah-kun!" It wasn't known whether Eliah would accept the offer the two officers had made, yet it was worth a shot. Comparing it to Eliah's current situation of having two brainless men fight over her? Nakami assumed it was the better outcome. And if anyone was to convince Eliah into joining the tenth division, it was Neviah.

A more radiant smile now crossed her face before silently looking down at her watch. Nakami's feelings of guilt had still been present, there was no doubt about that, she just used her happy exterior to cover up such emotions. She thought for a moment that perhaps it was best to leave these two alone to discuss the position she would be available to join. Drawing her portable fan from her coat again, she spread it out in an instant and bowed towards Eliah and Neviah once again. "Unfortunately, this is where I must make my departure. I wish you both the best. It was lovely meeting you, Eliah-kun." With a swish of her shihakusho, she turned away quickly and plotted her way to the exit of the festival. Fanning herself constantly, she thought to herself for a moment. Her thoughts were focused on one things: Neviah's happiness in this situation.

I'm glad you met her, Neviah-sama...
