A Coincidental Encounter

Word Count:402 Song: Electric Forest Song Artist: Ise Tags: #IntroTheme #UseChrome #FIRST It was certainly not an average day paired with what just so happened to be a full 180 turn; then again, considering Sakusei's mentality, it's not like there were any average days to begin with. Of course, it's also not like her daily life is a roller coaster, but the point's digressed. The lively gal just so happened to find herself in this awkward position. She hadn't know where she was, much less how to get out, or any other detailed directions, but she's gotten by without; she'll simply have to rely on luck, a thing she's done quite often in the past. "Damn it all, where is this place." Before glancing around for a bit, she once again spoke, this time in wondering annoyance. " For Touketsu's sake, did I teleport?" Sakusei glanced all over her body, not knowing whether or not she was hurt. After being beaten up more than once in the past, she had eventually grown accustomed to recognizing when she might teleport in the event of being bashed around half to death, but not even a single bruise showed on her fair skin. Though one might expect a more surprised reaction, Sakusei seemed to have felt a memory rekindle-- a feeling of deja vu. It was as if this happened before, and more than once. "Must be this damn host's will. She's been easy to keep under wrap so far though... Well, I suppose I might as well get used to these random moments. It's not like I can't fend for myself, eh?" The pale-haired adolescent body began a haughty chuckle -though unsuited to her appearance- from her own spoken-aloud thoughts, the latter being an action she performed quite often. Attempting to shift most of her focus from basic thought processes and movements to her nigh-clairvoyant senses, keeping her thoughts from wandering with ease, she had developed a pretty detailed feel for her surroundings. Around her, as was obvious from simple sight, there were many buildings -skyscrapers-, with a pretty stereotypical, 21st century New Yorkish vibe to it. Around her were empty streets, and she stood in the midst of a large intersection, as if she had just found herself within some cliche "I'm in a dream" movie. Half amused at the thought of having to find her way out, half annoyed, Sakusei denied the option of staying steadfast, and in preference began moving about, sensing her surroundings and expanding her internal map of her location. © SABLIER ETZEL of PH Coding: Sablier Etzel Content: Sablier Etzel Graphics: Sablier Etzel |

The earth was yet so quiet again after the Australia War as if this war had thousands of dead soldiers and people who participated in this bloodbath. Trees shuttering from the wind, the sun was piercing through the darkness valleys and brought happiness upon everyone by its friendly awakening. Although, there is a guy who doesn't really smile nor to even care about the world anymore. If you've heard of it, the male's name has an alias, or an infamous title called 'The Nightmare', and being his true name is Sou Yuuki. His usual appearance is a bartender-like dressing, black coat and a white shirt in it, and a pair of normal pants that he would wear all the time. On his right arm, his hand gripped tightly to an underarm crutch, the Annihilator, with a visible device attached to his wrist with several wires going through the flesh around his wrist.
He's a type of person that would tear you apart if you angered him, and of course, famously known for his bounty in the entire Karakura Central for what he did to the city. Caused destruction, forcing a hospital to collapse, wreaking havoc in the downtown and annihilated most parts of the outskirts with brute force. But soon after the incident in Hobart, the Nightmare changed rather dramatically, his face doesn't express the usual pissed off face, but just a casual pokerface wihout the need to give any attention to his surroundings anymore. The male stood into a convenient store, took a basket and threw in a few cans of juices, went towards the counter and asked for a change.
Questions were always surging through his head, just after the war, he was always asking himself the purpose of his existence, the reasons of what he fought for and why, even throughoutly asking himself about the abilities that he gained. Was it a gift from God, or was it just a coincidence that he 'just' gained that sort of ability that caused him to destroy things that he didn't want to. If he didn't had this power, he might be able to protect those he wanted to love, be friends with and get to know with, wihout involving any unnecessary violence with the people around him. What was he doing all this time, exactly? He even went as far as becoming a wanted criminal from destroying the city, and now the authorities and the officials are searching out for him. Even if he was lucky enough to survive the blast, Sou wasn't that lucky to escape wihout a wound on him.
Enough with the thoughts, as his hands reached to his head and rubbed his hair a little, with an annoyed tone coming out from his lips, "Ah, ah. What a bothersome day to deal with. I better head back before those fuckers can find me."
Luckily, with his electromagnetic field, he was able to distort the Yuudeshi Network from being able to mark his location by means of disturbing his surroundings with bouncing electromagnetic waves, potentially would either erase his whereabouts or showing a different location than his actual to the Yuudeshi Network, thus leading them to a wrong place with a false information. He didn't really like it at all, to even come back to this filthy place where dogs are just sniffing him out from his hiding place. Even though he wasn't that much into hiding and with the guts to even come out in the open, to be honest, Sou doesn't really mind if the officials found him, since with his current capabilities, he can wipe them out wihout a flinch as long as his device can last in its fighting capability.
He continued his journey, holding a bag with juices with his left hand, while walking like a disabled man with an underarm crutch on his right, tapping and walking foward as his mind wanders into the land of questions and thoughts, until eventually, a pale-skinned female went past him with a face that seemed to be both lost and annoyed at the same time, just like he was in the past when he didn't give a shit about the authorities and decided to run rampage in the city, which in the end, Sou had to pay the price for fighting back against those kind of people with his undesired attitude. Although it wasn't much like him, its better to give a lost person directions and just scram off like a random passer-by who is just giving a shout-out for directions. His eyes and body shifted against the annoyed and a somewhat lost female, as his fierce voice took a turn to his surroundings, making clear of what he is saying.
"Tch. Hey you, woman. There is a convenience store nearby and they might have a map for you to look for the place you're searching for."
Wihout any introductions nor a proper respect, he turned around and continued his walk, uncaring about these people anymore after becoming a temporary 'nice' passer-by who is somehow unwillingly wanting to give direction for her, but hell, as long as Sou is done with his crap, he is just going to move away before any misunderstandings are caused. Seriously, he wouldn't want to get too involved in these situations.
