Reasons For Upgrading:
He fought hard against Tsubasa Unabara, maintaining his will and composure. Eventually, it led to the awakening of the Yuudeshi Drive at which point his inner powers began changing. After the fight, he received intense Zanjutsu training!

What Are You Upgrading:
Alright, so Zanjutsu from Advanced to Master.

For the meantime, until his revamp is complete, because of the lack of the aid of Shikai, Bankai or Shikokai (Not that he needed their help, just think this will be more interesting) his tier has decreased to 5-5, however his skills are still in tact therefore his still as fast and as powerful as before on a physical and mental level. Just not as up to point on spiritual pressure because of his lack of control over the new found abilities.
