Ohh What a Fun Day We Will Have

Hinashi danced upon the green grass, her tall frame spinning slowly in the morning air. The nearby lake gave off a shimmer as the sun reached its peak over the horizon. Her long orange hair cascaded down her back. Ohh to have a day off as a Vice-Captain. No paper work, no duties, no responsibilities. She slowed down her spin and stopped next to the waters edge. A few clouds scattered across the sky, the wind blew a steady breeze. It was truly a beautiful day.



Sitting down underneath a tree, she leaned back against the trunk. Her eyes closed briefly as she remembered her walk over. Such a long but relaxing walk, through the fresh morning air. While the dew was still wet upon the ground, the crisp smell clung to her nose. She enjoyed such mornings, not to hot but not too cold. She could hear all the sounds around her as she sat, the sounds of ducks playing at the waters edge, the sound of birds chirping in the tree. She lit her pipe and cherry scented smoke drifted from its end. Fish swirled in the lake as she let the smoke drift around her head.



She could almost feel something else, but it didn't bother her. This place was perfect. Quiet and relaxing, the sounds of the stream carried her away as she slowly slipped into meditation.
