• Appearance Description: Though looking quite odd for a member of the Shinigami Kanae stands at about 5'6 in height, claiming her weight seems to be a secret as she tends to often more than most tell people her weight afterwards usually ranging in at about 135lbs why even she claims feels chubbier than the number that it entails. As for the feminine features that Kanae boasts it cannot be said she is the most buxom or voluptuous woman out there but the Shinigami herself claims it is not nearly as important for her to have large breasts than being a better person, seemingly hiding a complex about the fact...

Not truly befitting those who are usually found around the Gotei 13 barracks or even the Seireitei for that matter Kanae never seems to wear a Shohakusho if she must, instead she is mostly seen what seems to be a form fitting pair of what she to act like pyjamas, however the ends of these clothes seem to cut differently so as to allow free movement for the girl's extremities, the more fitting areas of her outfit contrast with the frillier areas surrounding the ends all with a color coordination of a light purple that is too bright to be unappealing to the senses.

Most importantly is the fact that the girl herself is albino. Due to her rather unnatural appearance both in life and death she is seen as being rather perturbing due to her pure white hair along with rather large piercing red eyes. These features are rare among those that live in either worlds but due to her status as a spirit the girl is rarely troubled by the affects of the sun that would usually be dangerous to those of her disposition.

• Personality:

The Manic: For the most part Kanae acts quite unlike those around her, tending to be more of a upbeat personality she will act as if nothing serious or uncomfortable will be happening around her and will even point out the fact of two or more people being uptight around each other, this could be attributed to a slight problem with communication and a bit more about her inability to read a room above the outer workings but even in the most dire of situation the smile of this girl doesn't falter once.

Many would describe her as being a Manic in the same sense that a animal being injected with recreational drugs everyday would be but seemingly the young woman simply has a love for acting bubbly and otherwise perhaps irritating to those around her doing things that would make her seem abnormal to even the most abnormal such as wondering if currency was naturally colored green to remind people of trees, or thinking that if small rats weren't so good at it people wouldn't put them into little wheels... It seems then that the girl is beyond professional help to the point that the professional would need help to get her to sit in one place for so long.

Childish: Naturally what comes with a manic personality is quite a child-like view of the world, Kanae does not aid her disposition by watching cartoons, Sentai shows and all other forms of entertainment the human world can offer. As such a nature makes her impulsive and spontaneous as well as easily insulted, even while she claims to be a fully grown woman out of spite her child-like side will shine through upon seeing something she could eat, play with or make something out of. Beyond this however her childish nature reveals a darker sense of unhinged behavior.

Upon seeing something that she wants Kaede will stop at nothing till it is her's, the possessiveness of a child becomes the downfall on what she sets her eyes upon as she will not stop until the thing in her eyes becomes 'Broken'. What this entails can be seen differently to many people and objects but the energy she has from her way of acting makes it a given that this rather obsessive compulsion will very rarely end up with her prey escaping without giving her some sort attention, or more likely her giving them too much...

''I'm the Hero!'': Perhaps an off-shoot of the girl's rather childish ways she has a tendency to make herself out as a form of superhero that is proliferated around the many TV shows that she finds herself watching. Making herself dress up in all sorts of superhero costumes and shouting out new names for each of her attacks the girl makes her aim to follow in the wake of all of her favorite shows, though she does seem to know these heroes are mostly fiction she herself claims that its better to be like these heroes and punish bad guys rather than just be a Shinigami and treat everything like work....

However in this hero worship and sense of justice comes the fact that Kanae herself is rather gullible and will not differentiate between what is friend or foe, she sees those who would pick on the weak e.g. Those who are winning the battle, as the enemy even still it is not that hard to fool her into believing an enemy can be an ally as her many hours watching movies and reading manga on the fact has left her disassociated with what could be seen as 'reality' and as such she takes many tropes to heart and view them as what is best to work on in the long run.

Sado-Maso: In this case her nature is not so much that she falls under the natural assumption of a sadist e.g. Causing pain to others is her one goal. In this case Kanae views the nature of her action more like play than harm upon meeting someone whether it degrades into combat or anything else the act of causing an injury for her is simply as playing tag or any other harmless game, the girl knows that when a person she meets dies it is viewed negatively but she otherwise does not view such attacks or injuries as a naturally sane person would as such she can be unnaturally aggressive to the point that the person she was having fun with is on the verge of death, and even then it maybe hard for the girl to stop.

This side of her goes along with her own like of people hitting and injuring her as she views it as people agreeing to play and be more fun around her. Though she understand the pain and doesn't enjoy it once she stops fighting but in the heat of the moment she is more focused on get the person more than she is actually focused on stopping herself from dying. This can lead to her taking it too far to the point she can lose consciousness or more likely she will be caught by someone in the middle of her play-time and end up being reprimanded and punished a type of pain that she acts like a sniveling baby around....

Inquisitive: A child is usually a lot more inquisitive than their adult counterparts, Kanae is not an exception. Her actions and disposition make her a lot more questioning on all facts around her, this can be strange sights, new faces and pretty much anything that the girl does not know about beforehand. This continues on into a want to know everything about everyone, this noisiness has lead her to a lot of trouble more often than not but Kanae will not be deterred once she has found something to cling onto. However beyond this want to know everything about everyone she also want to know how they naturally work...

This leads to her dealing with everything by deconstructing it and seeing what's inside it, toys, books, people.... Though this is not a common occurrence Kanae can be rather gruesome in the details when it comes to finding out how a person or creature works most of the time in horrific and gruesome circumstances....

• History:

Living

Born into a broken home Kanae was already different from birth, an albino child with a depressive and drunken mother to take care of her developmental years as a toddler were met with mostly nothing but indifference and disgusted looks, being left to her own devices Kanae was very rarely told right from wrong making her nothing more than a blank slate for the world's worst to influence her. As she grew older and older her mother grew resentful and angrier at the predicament she was left in a girl with nothing on her mind and one that looked freakish to her at that. It lead to Kanae being injured and hurt a lot behind closed doors, then more often than not she would be wheeled around by her mother to what remained of her friends from her marriage by age 5 her mother had her sent to school so as to not look at the girl's face from day to day, though Kanae did not blame her mother for anything she still wonder why her mother would hit her the childish mindset that she maintained up until now made it out as a game and nothing more....

Children are cruel, it is a fact that came hard on Kanae, her appearance and shyness made it easy for both boys and girls to make fun and treat her worse than even her own mother, by day she would be humiliated, lied to and treat as a punching bag by kids, then she would have the same when she went home. She grew to understand that people were not going to be naturally nice to her, it was not in their nature she was something that seemed abnormal and as such people treated her at a substandard. Kanae sat in the backyard of the pre-school she was alone and degraded by all those she met, teachers looked at her with pitying eyes but did nothing to stop the continued actions of all those around her. Days moved to weeks and humiliation stayed the same frequent and at full force, but one day at her usually haunt in the backyards of the school something happened that changed her perspective. It was when a particularly mean boy threw a broken plastic action figure at her face looking to get a response, only when he left did she actually look at the item he threw, she noted it as a popular masked hero ones that stood up for people who were weak and who did not have the power to take care of themselves just like her.... Alone she watched at home while her mother was away and with it she finally got it, people without power are always the underdog heroes! Two or so years of denial and humiliation lead the girl to realizing that in truth she could be a hero with hard work, determination, and a good spirit that persevered.

After that kids began to pick on her less and less, her appearance may still have been weird but now instead of acting dejected she would lecture them on acting out against people and tell them that the hero will always triumph after getting knocked down. This new persona of giddiness and strength made it harder and harder for her mother to deny her happiness also, she would see each bruise as character building and more and more she would not go down without changing people's ways. However while she grew more out of the shell of depression she looked back to the doll that had started it. She tinkered with it in her own time, looking to open it up and understand truly what it meant to be a hero and a good person out of the sense of goodness. Empty, a hollow plastic shell nothing more than a bunch of parts and pieces that made a semi-functioning toy. The fact shocked the girl as she exited out of her last years pre-school and found herself entering the new world of elementary and finally finishing off at a time in junior high school.

Not popular but not enough to have her skin and look make people bother her anymore Kanae was now wondering what truly made something good and heroic if it was not the insides... A young woman at 14 thinking this was more than enough to experiment. The neighborhood was being bothered by the aggressiveness and anger of a dog day in and day out, Kanae tried to ignore it but her mother now aging with absolutely no grace was bothered all day she had no more power to even act out against Kanae. She knew her mother was not a bad person at heart but she knew that if she could find out what made the dog bad then it would be easier to find something good from people. The scene that occurred in the home was something unnatural in sight it went well beyond 'tinkering', the blood, the sinew slung across the floors and the young girl messily making at looking for something that showed the dog was a bad guy.... But their was no evil mastermind, no hidden organisation and no final big boss it was simply a mother coming upon a scene to unnatural for words. ''It was a bad dog so in the end I was right to punish him!'' still said in the same manner she would give out a positive speech to one of the many bullies she would find, no wrongdoing could be found by the girl she was the hero...

Two years, two long years she was taken from her mother and thrown into what could only be described as a playroom with padded walls, where brightly colored pills came around every other hour. The place drained the Kanae a bit, made her more controllable and brought her some much needed time to catch up on her studies which she so dutifully neglected playing the 'hero'. By the two years she had just reached a scoring average to enter highschool and the girl did not fall back at the chance. Entering a new school with what seemed like a new identity she was put up at a nice halfway house, her mother had left after she went away, she must have forgotten about her daughter but she was sure that she would come back eventually. In school she acted as she was told to previously, she didn't particularly want to but she would be scolded and told that she could not return if she didn't behave. School went on like it always seemed to Kanae was never that particularly skilled in many classes and such, but biology and cutting meat for home economics was something she excelled in.

Friends never came easy but in highschool her unique look attracted some attention, and her naivety didn't help with the bad kind either. Some girls her age made some nasty remarks about her then would back out of them only a few days later, after a while she noted that they did not do what had previously occurred words not violence were their weapons of choice, but to Kanae she knew that she could get them to change in a grand fashion. The rooftop of the school building she had gathered the bullies here, Kanae sat outside the fencing of the roof with an ultimatum. Change or I jump, it was a simple declaration but the girls made snarky comments and claimed Kanae a coward it was that that broke the camel's back. Falling was the last thing she remembered, then screaming, heroes make the ultimate sacrifice eventually and for her it was to change a few people's lives hopefully for the better.

Spirit

The days after that got confusing, she was no longer as heavy as she felt before, more than that plenty of other people couldn't see her. A few would note her but only in passing it was getting to be more difficult to help people when she couldn't talk to them. These days had her wandering, looking for things to do people to see and also getting to watch TV without having to do it late at night or early in the morning. She still wondered what had happened to the girls she had shown her heroics apparently another jumped from the building as well.... She had hoped that she didn't enforce a martyrdom she jumped to prove a point not because it was cool... However she was happy to be out of the schoolyard and in the open where she could play and be without many worries...

Then the strange black things came, she found one chasing a man who seemed like her she caught up with him while he was sprinting, he seemed to scared to talk but she was not sure if he was a victim or a bad guy. The things chasing him had masks just like the heroes did, some where scary but she expected they were the dark hero archetype. Not wanting to act without some info she held back to see the creatures act on the man, when she returned to the spot they caught him on their was nothing left..... ''He must have transformed!'' Her thought process was the he changed to his monster form against the heroes, but she was still unsure what the dark creatures were. Some acted like heroes seemingly chasing the many villains that scouted the city.

But others tried to chase her, luckily her skills in Physical Ed. where one of the best though this only helped her get around and avoid being squashed, she couldn't fight back against the bad guys but her speed and natural swiftness made them give up the chase quickly. It eventually became a game to her as she made like a mouse against the giant cats completely oblivious to the danger at hand it was lucky that many did not actually get her but the girl hand become sly to the bulky creatures and made them work for the chase even when what it ended up being was nothing more than a wasted effort. However soon this would almost be the end for the Kanae...

Many of the creatures gathered, tens of them gathered to where she was a began a grand hunt. Kanae was at first happy to see all the weird and wonderful forms come to play but soon it became a bother to run from them at all times, a good work out but one that was tiring her out quickly. It soon came to be a formation surrounding her from all sides, as she looked to them she noted that there faces or masks seemed to sidle with hunger upon looking at the girl each moment they seemed to find it harder not to pounce all before the girl shouted. ''Okay now I'm it!'' The words would have been her last, had it not been for the interference of a squad of black cloaked saviors. They brandished katana and cut through the monsters quickly it did not take them long, the numbers seemed to lose to skill and it was only a matter of time before all that remained where the cloaked figures and Kanae.

The leader of the group walked up to her, she stared at him with eyes of shimmering wonder. ''Y-you're a-a real life su-superhero!'' The Shinigami seemed confused with the girl's blathering but he noted that a human that attracted the attention of so many hollows at once was definitely not natural especially when even he felt a unwelcoming presence coming from the girl. A konso occurred and the young woman's soul began to lift from its earthly bonds. ''I'm gonna be a hero!'' She expected to be sent to some secret base or an academy, at first this was not the case...

Seireitei

The scenery of the Rukongai was not lost on Kanae, she loved going around the many areas looking for trouble to get into and people to have fun with, it could be smaller children or tough looking thugs, none where above her games. Here she found her new clothing, it was an oddity even in the Seireitei, it held a modern look against the rural scenery but more than a few artistic designers were konso'ed after there death. The girl love the scenery and her new slim clothing letting her move with all the freedom of a bird, but really she wanted to be a hero not live in the boondocks all days, pouting to herself she never knew why she wasn't a cool robed hero yet.

It was here though that she actually found herself outside the Shino Academy, many applicants for the academy found themselves walking up only to be turned away after showing what little power they had, Kanae hopped to the entrance as the new applicants were moving forward each showing what power they had in a ball of a energy. ''Genki Dama!'' the girl found the appearance of the ball reminiscent of a similar object in her past readings. When it came to her go the examiner looked at the girl with questioning eyes as she took her position and held her hands to the sky screaming. ''Super Shocking Spirit Sphere'' The name aside the energy she produced was quite shocking, the large ball of energy was enough to put a shadow over the examiner as it pulsated with dull grey wisps of energy that pulsated through the ball. After much deliberation Kanae was granted access to the Seireitei and the Academy only with that did they realize their own mistake...

Shinigami

Kanae found training for the position of a Shinigami to be rather entertaining in its own right. Most of the philosophy and inner workings she slept through openly, this did not go down well with the teaching staff lead to her being reprimanded almost everyday, here the girl found that she was not a fan of being scolded as it was never fun to get yelled at by an adult, not even her own mother really use to yell and her it just didn't feel right... But what she lacked in her motivation for the history of the Shinigami she made up for in combat skill. Her style in Zanjutsu put her at one of the best in the class, her unorthodox movements and unnatural swiftness as well as her penchant for finding the weakness in people's form had go undefeated most of the time, on some occasions the teachers would spar and though she would last all of five seconds longer than most she still fell all the same.

Training went on and more and more the girl got excited as she realized she could be a hero out in the real world, but many mocked that vision. Her view of a Shinigami was that of a superhero arriving to save the day, she had not realized that the Shinigami where not meant to act as heroes but to safeguard those in the living world from hollows. This was mostly due to her sleeping through many classes as well as failing to perform even the most basic of incantations for kido preferring to do her own instead...However as a final test the new recruits were expected to go through a trial by fire which many would fall at....

A demi-hollow, not yet a true heartless creature but not enough whole to konso safely, the recruits were sent to the human world with the idea in mind to remove a hollow and separate the wheat from the chaff. Whoever would not move on the hollow was seemingly to sentimental to deal with the execution of hollows, others would be too aggressive viewing it as an easy kill. In a flash a white streak moved passed and sent the poor soul to the Rukongai. Looking astounded the teacher stared at the albino girl as she smiled and made a peace sign claiming ''Now he's no longer a villain, he's learn his lesson and he can go in peace!'' It was here then that Kanae Takada passed within a five year limit mostly due to her greater penchant for combat as well as her complete lack of strength in Kido, as well as trying to finally get the girl out of their hair.

Finally Kanae could finally be the hero she wanted to be......A hero for great Justice!!!

• Reiatsu Color: Murky Grey

• Zanpakutô Spirit Name: Zansatsu

• Zanpakutô Spirit Appearance: Zansatsu inside the soul of its partner seems to share her enjoyment with super-heroes, this can be viewed by its rather dark yet heroic look, seemingly covered in blood the flowing cloak of the spirit trails off and flows around the creature as if itself seems to be alive. Though the spirit seems to be rather heroic the menacing smile that it carries with it at all times and the nature of its strength makes him less than the hero it tries to portray, and instead when it meets with its master the creature is known to be rather aggressive and persuades the woman to make decision that usually lead to either bloody murder or injury from those that surround her, unfortunately Kanae is not good at avoiding what the Zanpakutō tells her and will most of the time listen to it as it tries to make organized thoughts from within the madness that it mixes with it owner.

• Inner World: Unlike the rather negative spirit that lives in the world the area itself looks like a large mix of a young girl's dream world and candy-land. The appearance of the world seems to focus a lot on the nature of the girl that it bases itself off, however when the spirit that inhabits it appears the scenery around him becomes a less like a dreamland and more a ruined vision of what was found there not a few seconds earlier with all the world behind him being reddened by blood and ripped apart seemingly by the appearance of the creature itself. This world ruined by the spirit is still unknown to be the acts of the Zanpakutō itself or if it was the true appearance of the world hidden by the owner's own neurosis and childishness.

• Sealed Zanpakutô Apperance :

• Sealed Zanpakutô Abilities:
Blood Everlasting: A passive ability by the power of the girl's Zanpakutō upon cutting a person the wound so long as it is deep enough e.g. Small cuts or knicks form the blade are not deep enough to allow the effect to activate, will bleed profusely. It is necessary for the wound to be cleaned and bound properly or else it will lead to a large amount of bloodloss rather quickly. Naturally those of a spiritual nature will be less inclined to be effected as their bodies do not require the power of blood and organs as other creatures do. However if Zansatsu wounds them deeply enough the bleeding will still be quite severe, this can be countered with the use of Reiatsu by forcing it to the wound it can heal over quicker though it should be a constant flow in order to staunch the bleeding properly. Enhanced healing and unnatural toughness work similarly as well so long as the focus is on the wounds Kanae creates. This power however also applies to the owner as such Kanae can be cut and bleed rather severely quickly leading to her passing out or worse. This ability then acts as a double edged sword to the girl who has no true skill in healing arts and also has little in the way of control.
