Heero Hajime

SHINIGAMI
Name: Heero Hajime
Gender:Male
Age: 900 looks 20
Personality:Heero is explicitly a boisterous fellow, constantly aiming to help in any way he could possibly think of. More often than not, he vexes people with his almost robot likeness when it comes to lending a hand. You could compare this fellow to a dog almost, undyingly loyal, and would rather die than let his fellow superiors get hurt. Often showing every possible emotion on his face, the rather energetic and optimistic man known as Heero would first be thought of as immature, or irresponsible. In his true nature, he is almost like a fatherly figure, despite his apparent childishness. But within this mans mind is a bunch of facets to a personality that is much more complicated for others to understand. In many ways his childishness seems to be somewhat of a shield to prevent the more "unhappy" parts of life rule his mind. He is a deep thinker and is able to calculate a usually foolproof plan to defeat opponents. Because of this abnormal thinking capacity, he left his court guard squad in order to teach newcomers in the academy.
When you look upon his face, the emotions portrayed would paint a picture of what he’s attitude portrays. A face of light, and energy is what he brings with him, and his rather optimistic demeanor. Always accented by the trademark grin that always seems to have an ability to brighten anyone’s day. Along with his optimism, there is a tricky side that seems to love to pull off jokes in class and just make sure everyone enjoys what they are learning and knows it by heart. His train of thought is similar to the enlightened thoughts of John Locke. He believes that the spirits in Seireitei are Naturally good, but let themselves fall prey to the many temptations of life in Soul Society. His thoughts also reflect the fact that he is well respected in the field of education being that the students he teaches, seem to have higher rates of achieving their shikai within the first two years of graduation. Being a teacher, his methods of presenting the material needed to be learned are quite unorthodox. Instead pf your average textbook and paper lesson, he takes his students out into the world to see the thing in real life. To show them everything that a book cant.
Even with his rather odd way of teaching and his extreme exuberance, there are a few rare times where he buckles down and shows the kids just who is boss, and that he is not there to be their best friend. But to teach them and get them through the course he teaches. The course that he runs is a kendo and swordsmanship class. Heero has a love for the art of the sword and it shows in the way he teaches. Pride, though he doesn't have much, he does show pride in his work, and he shown the contentedness he has with being a teacher of the newest shinigami arrivals. Despite his main course that he teaches being kendo and swordsmanship, he does run a kidou class for people that he picks out to have potential for going into the kidou corps or getting a higher seat in the fifth, and training them. You could call this class his Advanced placement class that he seems to lighten up in. In general though, he shows and equal liking to the classes he teaches and doesn't favor one over another, being that he knows exactly what it is like to have someone liked more than you.
But behind all of the exuberance, there is someone in pain, someone that is hidden and will be kept hidden. That person in pain is the true Heero. Even after being konsoed, the spirit remembers his human life and the pain of knowing what happened over and over. Seeing it replay in his head leads him into times of depression. During these times He takes a leave of absence from his classes, knowing full well that his depression leads him to be angry with himself, but he takes it out upon others. And whence he does this, he often feels a large amount of guilt. Guilt is a feeling that Well Heero does not cope well with either. When dealing with this emotion it depends on whom he hurt. If it was a student, he most often would write a letter apologizing to the student for unjust and immature acts. Whilst if he hurt a colleague, he would go out of his way to make sure that got that day off, and he would make sure he had no work for that day. When he works himself like this, well, he becomes stressed and goes to train. With Heero these emotions are like a vicious circle, and it would never end.
Heero Has Many personality strengths, one being the way he treats those deemed as enemies. When faced in a stare down with an enemy, he does not act offensively unless it is an absolutely necessary to act out. He will Usually try to either talk to the enemy and convince her or she to leave the area because even if they were an arrancar, he does not deem them bad unless they have attacked. If one enemy were to attack him first, Heero becomes extremely serious and will do everything within his power to destroy or drive away the enemy with the least amount of blood possible. When and if the enemy deems to fight to the death then Heero will do all in his power to fulfill that wish and fight until the enemy was destroyed. But, If the enemy retreats when they are talked to, then Heero treats them with a little more respect if he were to run into them ever again.
For His superiors within Seireitei, such as the nobility, and the Sou-taichou, Heero becomes almost the exact opposite of his flamboyant, and exuberant self that he displays in his classrooms. When he is called to a meeting with those above him he becomes extremely serious, knowing full well that he was called there e because something bad was going on and his home was in a dire need for help. He treats all those above with the utmost respect and seriousness. Along with those below him he listens intently and will not speak a word of objection or suggestion until the very end. Now most would call that a respectful thing, but for him he is thinking and calculating a plan of attack, defense, or both to help keep his home free from harm. It is shown rather easily Heero has no problem with dying for his home. His Heart and soul literally belong to his home and so he would do anything even if that means dying to keep his home and friends and family safe.
A person that is never one to dwell on things, Heero looks to the future. He sees the future as a beckon of hope, telling him to carry on and hold strong despite his internal weaknesses, he thinks of the future as that light at the end of the tunnel that he is nearing ever closer to. All in all, Heero is a man of many words that enjoys his job as a teacher and as a person though having problems dealing with certain memories, is all around congenial and kind to his students colleagues and friends.
Appearance:
Upon laying your eyes upon the teacher's figure, you will notice off the bat one accessory he seems to never take off. That accessory being an old leather eye patch. The eye patch itself is the common black color, but sewn together, with gold and crimson thread. The straps are hidden beneath his hair and tie in the back of the head. Some of his more 'creative' students would say that it is sewn into his face, but all of them are wrong. His face itself shows a rough look, something you would see from a farm boy, or a warrior. Locks of silver hair trail down his face until it reaches just above the base of the neck, and just over the eyes. Now you would think, hey thats not smart, when you are teaching a class, you wont be able to see a thing right? Wrong. The style that Heero uses in his hair is actually almost a strategy. Most kids would think the teacher cat see us so lets pass notes! Or whatever it is that is against academy policy. He uses that Hairstyle to weed out the trouble makers, by deliberately letting them try and get away with what they are doing, and then he would come and direct them out of class, after seeing what they were up to.
Watery Blue eyes grace the mans face, always portraying perfectly what he feels during his classes, which nearly all the time is a sense of complete and utter contentedness. Never closing and always wide, Heero relies on the eyes so he can take in what the world around him is like. To accent the usually happy light shown in his eyes, Heero is often caught with a radiant smile that seems to be able to lighten anyones day. heero is fair skinned, he has no tan even though he holds his classes outdoors. Being in top physical health, heerosbody build is muscular, but not body builder muscular. He has a well toned body, which makes him seem a bit more intimidating than normal. Often he uses this to his advantage when dealing with the 'tough guys' or 'macho men' in his classes. Back to his face, when and if he ever removed his eye patch, underneath is something rather shocking. A scar where his eye was, is what you will see. All you can see beneath the eye patch is scar tissue. His eye had been forcibly sewn shut after a casualty in a past battle when he was still within a Gotei division.
His attire, is actually not very reflective of his personality. Instead of wearing the traditional shinigami garb, he wears completely different clothing. In his trips to the modern world, (which are quite often) he buys formal attire from stores all through Karakura. Most often he buys neutral colored shirts which range from muted reds, to darker blues and greens, to blacks, grays and whites. These shirts are very formal, as they are the same kind of shirts that modern teachers wear. His ties are usually nothing special. Almost all would be black with the exception of a few colored ones, he wears on special occasions. His pants like his ties are black dress pants. His shoes are like the rest of his uniform. A Pair of black shoes, that are made of leather. But this is the attire he wears to the academy only. His attire that he wears out of the academy, like his other clothing is modern and well just different from anyone else in Seireitei. When not seen in the school, he is wearing a t-shirt with a pair of jeans. It's this attire that shows off his rather happy demeanor. Him being called an oddity isn't an understatement, as its extremely rare to see him even work in a shinigami uniform.
During his passing there are a few items he didn’t let go of, even when being konsoed. One of them was a pair of handcuffs that he had been restrained in when he was kept as a convict. The cuffs themselves haven't rusted one bit since he was konsoed. Another accessory that he wears all the time, which shows his pride when he was a military officer in the living world. Apart from his accessories, Heerocarries quite a few physical quirks with him. One being that since he was a military officer, he walks with a more confident aura even when surrounded with kids and students that seem like a hopeless cause. When seen in shinigami attire, it is usually a dire situation for soul society. His uniform is missing the sleeves of the Kimono top, but most everyone knows whom he was before leaving for the academy. His uniform is black but tattered on the pant legs. His obi is also black blending with his uniform.
In the many times he goes to the human world to well either shop, or research different teaching strategies, Heero's clothing is rather bright as well. Sporting a pair of white sneakers, and a pair of black cargo shorts. For shirts, well he leans toward the reds and oranges. Usually on the backs of his shirt show the symbol of a mask that is comparable to a hollow mask, making spiritually aware humans, that know of the shinigami, just who he is. Heero doesn't care if the spiritually aware humans know whom he is, after all they do fight along side each other more and more. Now though, Heero tends to carry his Zanpakutou more than usual, seeing as now there are constant threats of arrancar and many other enemies.
Zanpakutô Spirit:
Zanpakutou Inner World: Heeros inner world is a Dark snowy night . With a lake off to the side. Misami can usually be found by the lake staring deep into and occasionally moving her fingers through the glassy water.
Zanpakutou Spirit: Masami Takes the form of a beautiful but powerful female. She is cruel at times, but this is only to help make Heero stronger. Most of the time though She is very shy and removed giving heero hints and tips on things but never actually coming straight out and saying what she means.
Sealed Zanpakutô : Within its sealed state, Masami is shown to be one of the most intricate, and beautiful Zanpakutou. Starting with the basic blade shape, this Zanpakutous shape could be classified into the Shinogi Zurkuri. The blade is a brilliant silver color, stretching almost five feet in length Masami's blade is well something to be reckoned with. When taking a closer look, and inspecting the blade in a more in depth way, You would note the intricate designs and engravings. The engravings themselves were actually crafted by Heero himself. They represent the tranquility or the ferociousness that the wind can hold within a few gusts. These engravings are in a more Celtic design base than the traditional designs from Japan. They extend just above the cross guard to he tip of the blade and some how are better viewed when the blade actually draws blood from the opponent, seeing as the blood would flow through the spaces between the engravings. The blade itself is rather thin in width only stretching an inch and one half.
From the blade your eyes would now rest upon the guard of the blade which shines brightly, in the color of a burnished gold. Its in the shape of a rectangle stretching about two inches away from the center of the blade. From the guard, there is a sapphire blue fastener that Keeps the sword together and in one piece. Now resting your eyes upon the hilt of Masami, you will see just the beauty of the blade. How the design flows artistically and just physically. The hilt is a bright turquoise accented by swirls of the same burnished gold metal, extending from the base of the fastener, and all the way up the hilt. Swirling like the wind. Just with one look, you could say that this blade is just one of the most beautiful even in its sealed state. You would think that a blade such as this would belong to a female shinigami, just with all the ribbons and accessories that are attached to the hilt. One such accessory is a sapphire blue ribbon that he tied there. It was from his time in life. It was one of the objects he clung to whilst being konsoed.
From the blade, you will look to the sheathe. One of the things you can instantly notice about that sheathe is that half of the sheathe is painted the same color as the hilt, and the other half is left to show the light brown that a wooden sheathe would show. The top half is painted the bright turquoise, accented by bands of the gold metal all the way down. On the painted side the same gold metal wind like accents, show brilliantly. Shining as if they were new. Heero doesn't actually wear his Zanpakutou in fact he stores the sword in a wrapping of dark blue silk and he carries it with him as if it were a small bag. But those whom know Heero know what is concealed. But when the Zanpakutou is worn by Heero, he doesn't tuck it away in his obi like most would. He wears it slung loosely on his back in full view of everyone. After all what’s the use in hiding a weapon when you're fighting, when you know weapons are to be expected?
Shikai Description:
Upon the sayings of the words, Guide me Masami the beautiful blue Zanpakutou begins to transform into its primary stage, its shikai stage. The more noticeable thing is that the engravings have disappeared from the length of the Shinogi Zukuri blade. The metal of the blade has elongated itself to a length roughly about five feet. The width of the blade has extended to a two and one half inch width. The Blade itself is now double edged and the flat of the sword or where you can rest your hand for extra support when fighting is located along the long wide edge of the sword. The material itself has been transformed, Instead of being the silvery metal it used to be, Now the blade is clear, made of pure quartz crystal. The Hilt of the blade turns to a deep ruby red color and the sapphire ribbon melts away leaving an iridescent gold tip on the hilt; which is accented by many gold rings. The hilt is longer and whence you reach the guard, it is now flat with small sharp edges
Shikai Abilities:
The base of the blade was carved to look layered. There are seemingly three layers to the blade and each layer has a finely shaped edge that could slice through anything That is an Unfortified Material. The clear blade when catching the light of the sun of the moon seems to glow with a divine light. As if the blade was blessed by the gods themselves. The aura is actually composed of his reiatsu and the light of what ever celestial body shines upon it. Within this state the blades cutting capacity of the blade increases by quite a bit. Not having any definite abilities that have names, one of Masami's most vexing ability is that if you look within the particles of the blade. Similar to the Sele Schieder of the Quincy, Masami's particles are vibrating to create a mass amount of heat. When An Opponent is touched by the Blade their skin would first feel a searing pain, caused by the heat of the blades particles vibrating. The Blade really isn't meant to cause a huge amount of destructive force in its wake. Its power is reserved and balanced. Another effect the blade has is that because of the vibrating particles the sword acts like a saw and is able to cut through most anything, such as flesh or bone. The sword is almost like something used to punish and not kill.
If By any chance He has to, Heero can make the particles within his blade stop vibrating and disperse into the air. The particles themselves if viewed under a microscope, you would see they are jagged and are at a size where you can breathe them in, and actually embed themselves in your lungs. This is similar to the effect Volcanic Ash has on the human body. But That’s the power given to the Shikai in Natural terms, the reiatsu based effect is that it slowly drains reiatsu from the opponent once inside the body. In doing this Heero does not gain any of the reiatsu absorbed, and when the ash exits the body, it is released into the air in a gradual manner. But, Heero rarely resorts to using such an inhumane technique, being that it goes against his very morals. But when it is activated this technique proves fatal to those whom do not know how to combat something like that. An example of an opponent Heero would use a technique such as this on would be a high level arrancar such as an espada. There are loopholes to the technique, one being that there is only as much as there is sword, so there would be a wait time if Heero decided to reset the blade into its sealed state. Another Loophole is the fact that it can drain only a certain amount of reiatsu. That amount being exactly One half of the whole reiatsu within a foes body.

Bankai Description:
When Masami takes the appearance of Bankai you would think light, you would think something like an angel would appear. But no, His bankai is a signal of grave danger, of something where he must resort to a bankai to get himself out of a fight. When the bankai is used, well people should know right then and there this is a life and death situation. Using Kidou in combination with his bankai is deadly but, not as deadly as the bankai alone. When the bankai is summoned you will see a drastic change, the blade instead of being a silvery color with a divine light emanating from it, instead it takes the form of a sword the color darker than the blackest onyx, but with the deadly beauty of any prowling hunting animal. In Bankai Like shikai this sword is a mere extension of Heero's arm. When Looking at the blade you will see a few things other than the drastic color change you will see it now resembles a European sword rather than a Japanese katana, and the fact that its not single edged, its a double edged sword. Looking from the Blade towards the guard, or lack of... You would see a silvery metal that was "welded" onto the blade, and within that silver piece of metal are carvings, carvings of what’s to come from this mans true power.
That was merely the first phase of bankai used in Heero's arsenal, and unlike his shikai, the particles that make up his sword are not vibrating, meaning that the sword is solid, but what it lacks in the sawing action that the shikai does, it makes up for in scaring the hell out of any enemy. In the secondary form of the Bankai something happens that is rather not normal. Heero will run his hand down the blade lightly cutting his hand to draw blood and murmur the release for his bankai once more, before the sword melts... or so it seems. After the sword melts it reforms into beings, two beings at that. They both being twin snakes. Click They both are as black as night, the way you can tell them apart is by the way their eyes glow. One Snake is identified as the violent being having bright amber eyes and runes on its back that glow amber. The Other being a more strategic and stealthy attacker taking on green eyes and green glowing runes on its back. The Snakes in appearance if a man were six feet tall, the snake would tower over them by three feet. At first glance yeah, the defenses of the snakes look absolutely impenetrable because not only do their scales come in handy but the fact that heero often weaves Kidou around them that deflects most sword based attacks. But if you look closely when the snakes open their mouths there’s a lot of soft flesh and sensitive tissue in that area, which means yeah, run at the snakes when their mouths are open and slash their mouths to bloody bits and pieces. But watch out for the fangs, because they could be dangerous. But Between the two snakes the yellow one attacks more often, trying to poison its victim while the green lays back in the shadows only attacking when needed.
Bankai Abilities:
While in Bankai there is only one kind of ability aside from melee combos Heero can use in this state. When his true bankai is released in the form of the twin snakes, yeah the snakes can crush you, or eat you or do something of that sort. But the main ability is what is inside the snakes. Within the fangs of one is a poison that slowly depletes an opponents reiatsu, and they usually don't realize it before its to late. The only way to combat the poison you ask? Is to get bit by the green eyed snake which carries the antidote. The Poison Takes noticeable effects( They feel sick and sluggish and to become paralyzed) within 3-4 hours (if the battle even lasted that long) if a user doesn't use any reiatsu based attacks ( Kidou, cero etc) if they do they will drain the reiatsu faster than the poison would. But the poison would act a reiatsu depleter boost. Which would force an opponent to use more reiatsu for a small attack like a Kidou or bala. The poison doesn't necessarily drain the reiatsu it is more or less the person using attacks they shouldn't be and the poison making him expend more reiatsu than it should take.

History/Background:
Starting from the day He was born, Hiro was first known as Nikon which means Victory in Greek, and taking his fathers last name of Sethos which means Dazzle. The Name fit the Boy well at birth. For The Blood of a Spartan war general, and an Athenian woman was combined to Make Nikon. He was one of the fortunate children that would not be considered useless in society. In his eyes even as an infant, you could see the light of a warrior, you could see the fire that burned within the child's very soul. When He was first seen by his mother She named him Nikon after his father. The Woman Prayed her child would follow within the footsteps of his father. The child in his infancy was very quiet, never really whining or crying, never really doing anything extremely disruptive. But he was Almost always quiet as he watched the world around him. The times he did cry were for the basic needs of a diaper change or food. He was different, and outgoing. And that difference continued into his toddler years. Just walking for a few weeks the small child was already running through the house, chasing after his always good natured father. This was what you could call, early military training. His father was teaching him how to be a strong and fast runner on the battlefield. Always smiling and laughing Nikon followed.
But when he wasn't running around, when he wasn't chasing anything that moved, Nikon would sit in his mothers lap and listen to her read ancient tales of the gods, how the god Zeus was king and the most powerful of the gods. The toddler was always enchanted and amazed with the legends, that seemed to mesh together and tell a lengthy story of how his world came to be. Above all His favorite legends were of the goddess Athena, and the God Zeus. He loved to hear of Athena's abilities to outwit the god of war Ares on the battle field. He loved Zeus for his courage to stand against his father and take over the world. The Bright blue eyed boy grew to the age of seven. He was always running about asking questions about his hometown. His Father always happily provided the history of Sparta and their unstoppable army. At the time, Sparta had just conquered Many small provinces in Italy. Nikon was amazed as his father told him of the vast lands that the army had conquered. He tried to visualize the size of it and it seemed to fill the whole world. It felt like his home had conquered the whole world! This is where Nikon's true respect for his father was seeded.
One month late he was brought to the academy, Life there was harsh, the physical training was something totally new, he ran for hours, he was whipped and beaten into shape. But the fire in his bright blue eyes would never go out, the fire that seemed to forever burn within him. He was Also watched by many of the older more experienced students in the academy. It was a custom for the New recruits within the academy to find a "Lover" of the same sex, as it taught comradery and loyalty to your brothers on the battle field. Nikon thought this as weird but was soon courted by many of the older students in the academy.. Nikon Chose someone whom would later become his closest friend, his name was Adrastus. In this culture the lower ranked boy could choose whom he wanted as his "Lover" But what shocked most was that he became much more popular in a short amount of time. The older student was a nobles son, which only helped Nikon. Now Nikon was under the responsibility of Adrastus, his training was severe. He was constantly fighting for his life it seemed.
Never once did he cry out in pain, he was taught that it was a weakness, and so he made himself strong by not crying out as a blade connected to his skin. Sure he winced, but that was all, as blood ran down his arm he continued to fight and fight hard. Nikon was becoming what his parents dreamed of him becoming. But soon after his first section of training was done, he was brought to a special ceremony where he and other children were forced to run in circles around a group of older children whiled he was whipped continuously. Nikon was lightly clothed, and as he ran he did not cry like the others, he did not bow his back like the others, he ran with his head held high. He ran and didn't react to the pain shooting from his body. His "Lover" Watching helplessly as he took the pain with almost now a smile. Nikon was a tough kid and merely shook his head as he watched other recruits drop dead. The hours passed and the group of what once was fifty now dwindled to a mere twenty. Nikon stood without his back bent in pain. He was what you could call the one that would become a future king. As The lashings were now stopped, he merely stretched out and didn't wince as Adrastus come over to tend to the bleeding wounds.
The medicine stung and yet he merely stood there with no reaction. It was because of the brutal training that Nikon was forced through had prepared him for any kind of physical pain dealt to him. His Shining blue eyes still reflected the fire of a warrior within them. He continued his brutal training but at a different level. Now he was armed with a short sword and his goal was to somehow in some way injure the much bigger and tougher opponent that was Adrastus. Nikon was Smart and through the years was able to read and predict his "lovers" movements in battle. Knowing how his opponent acted was a crucial thing seeing as if he didn’t use his brain he would have been beaten half to death. As his opponent lunged forward Nikon dodged easily and from behind easily maneuvered his blade behind Adrastus's head and made a small shallow cut upon his neck to signal his victory. Months and months passed, he was nearing his twelfth Birthday where he would move up in rank in the academy. But Those nights before his birthday the raining was much more intense and he was now kept as a prisoner with handcuffs (or what they would use as handcuffs) around his wrists and he would be beaten and made sure he was immune to pain. On His twelfth birthday His surrogate family celebrated his moving up in the academy.
But it was also on his twelfth birthday that something else had to happen... it was at night and he knew it was coming. Another tradition that Spartan soldiers to be would have to go through was well rather painful for the boy. That night it was required that his relationship with his mentor turned physical... Nikon merely shrugged it off as if he didn't care that something like that had just been done to him. But what really happened in his mind was a type of fear of that happening again, really and truly Nikon only suffered through it for the fact that he wanted to become the greatest warrior known in Spartan history. The years passed and he became much stronger, his appearance changing from that of a boy into that of a matured young man. His sun bleached blonde hair seemed to be a pale silver in color due to his constant days in the hot sun. He was tall and muscular, and held lots of promise. he was shown in a mock battle to the proctor of the academy and he was then moved up with a special group of people known as the crypteia or κρυπτείαa. This was a small festival of sorts that showed off the skills of the most promising future leaders of Sparta. Sparta would declare war upon the Helot Population. The helots, were the serfs of the Spartan civilization, and every autumn their numbers were cut down. Nikon using his only weapon, being his fists. Nikon was shown to be quite the warrior as he killed with no remorse. The κρυπτείαa was a time where any Spartan citizen (those whom are distinguished students and those whom have already graduated from the academy. Meaning the students that did not take place in this festival are not considered citizens yet) could kill a Helot without fear of blood or guilt.
Two More years passed, Nikon was now considered a full fledged citizen of Spartan and he was a member of the Spartan army. He already was rumored to be the next king, to lead the army in his fathers footsteps. As He lived his life he met a woman by the name of Amynta. This woman had to have been blessed By Aphrodite herself, this woman was beyond beautiful.. she was just god like in appearance. Months passed as they became friends, their personalities complimenting each other in every way. It was not very long before the two were to be married. Their wedding was fabulous, it was small the way that Nikon and his wife preferred it. Nikon was completely content and happy, having a wife, a home and being promoted to the generals lieutenant. The General at that time was Nikons former "Teacher" in the academy. and it seemed that this teacher was not exactly happy that Nikon had married so early in life... Was it that he was jealous? Was he mad that Nikon wasn't his? He really didn't know. Small Battles were fought and Sparta Decimated all that stood in their way..
It was three years after a major battle that Sparta celebrated as one of the best victories yet, Sparta had finally conquered Messenia. Which was a Great victory. He had although suffered a rather bad injury to one of his eyes and so he wore a piece of leather on what used to be his eye and was now a piece of heavily scarred face. It was three years later when his wife bore two children of his own, a Beautiful young girl and a wonderful son. Both had inherited his oddly light colored blonde hair, and you could have said it was the best day of Nikons life. But Then after six months of being with his family, he was called to war again. But this time something went wrong, terribly wrong, sure he was in the heat of battle, he was battling the one that taught him all he knew. This wasn't supposed to happen, how come his closest friend and the general of the Spartan army turned on him? Nikon didn’t understand... He just couldn't comprehend what happened until he looked over his shoulder, His wife, and children were dead.. Thanks to this man.. he was enraged and the rage blinded him.. Nikon's life ended after he stabbed the general through the chest.. and he himself was impaled by his adversary's sword.
His dying words were " εγώ πρέπει έχω καμωμένος εγώ ο ίδιος ισχυρότερος" Or in English, "I should have made myself stronger"
Death was a confusing thing for the man, he couldnt remember a thing about himself, he couldn't remember his name or how old he was or where he was. So the Lonesome soul wandered Looking around for anything that could tell him what and who he was. That was when he felt a sharp pain in his chest. He looked back and noted a long chain that was corroding away. Seemingly panicked, the soul did all in his power to slow down the corrosion. Thank god he did, now he wandered and it seemed as if all hope was lost, as he saw another soul also wandering.. as he waited for days until a shinigami had finally appeared, the shinigami konsoed the spirit of the former general of the Spartan army. Now Out of instinct, did Nikon reach for anything that could be used as a weapon against the man with the strange looking sword. As the Man walked toward Him Well Nikon finally felt a type of fear.. But soon a soothing voice washed over him, and he knew this person wasn’t going to kill him or well hurt him the way he did to the other soul.. or so he thought.
"What is your name?" The person had asked him.
"I-I dont know" The former Spartan warrior replied, Hiro was so confused, who and what is this person garbed in black with his sword drawn at him, he had no clue why this person wasn't attacking him. Sure he had already come to terms with the fact that he was dead, but it didn't help the matter that he still felt more and more threatened. The confused silver haired man looked at the Shinigami. This time he was sizing the shinigami up, seeing as it looked like they were going to fight. His eyes closed and he asked the shinigami, "What is your name? And Who are you?" The Shinigami said that there was no need for him to release his name to Nikon But he told him what he was. Then The Shinigami began to explain what soul society was like.. Hiro now wanted to go before that chain corroded away completely. And, so, Nikon was Konsoed willingly and transported to Rukongai's 73rd district.
Now whence the confused man found his way through the district, he became well known to be someone that beat on anyone that wasn't a child that stole from the street vendors. Mind You he never did that, Nikon never attempted it despite the burning hunger inside of his gut. He became Very respected and so he kept that reputation when a citizen asked of his name. Hiro replied with a simple, I have no name... The Citizen was shocked to an extent. But Accepted that answer. Now At the time he was staying with an elderly couple and taking care of them by getting food and water for them although they never seemed to be hungry or thirsty at all. Which was yet another strange thing because he seemed to always be ravenous. The elderly people heard that and smiled, "You can carry on a family name then.." Said the old male, "Your name from now on will be Hajime, Hiro" Hiro smiled, he wasn’t a no body anymore, he had a name to be called by...
Hiro continued to live as a "protector" of sorts for his "grandparents" and so he continued to barter, trade and do almost anything he could to get food for his family besides steal. His Morals in those days reflected the morals he had as a child and growing up in Sparta. As he lived his peaceful life he was approached one say by one of the Shinigami. Now being the Man he was, and being as congenial as he was he talked with the shinigami and was informed about the reason he was always hungry. It was this thing called reiatsu. Now Hiro didn’t believe anything the Man said about reiatsu and so he told the shinigami that until he sees it for himself he will not believe that he had any powers that were out of the ordinary. But The shinigami persisted on telling him these things until He hit a sore spot in Hiro's heart. The elderly couple that Hiro had become a grandson to. He was told with this power he could kill them and possibly kill himself. He became rather angry with what this complete stranger was ranting and rambling on about, so he took care of it his way. A fist to the Shinigami's face and he went flying backwards a few feet before skidding to a halt.
Hiro Heard what the man had said, "You will regret this choice for the rest of your life" Hiro merely laughed and went on with his daily life in Rukongai’s. Years Passed and he happily helped the couple keep the ramshackle Shack clean and a place that was livable. But he noted how the spirits that he took refuge with were beginning to weaken considerably. Hiro blaming himself and his constant need to eat. So He bought and bartered whatever he could and left it in a pile for the couple to eat whenever, before running off. District By district he made his way to the third district where he saw a group of shinigami academy students. They were all laughing and having a great time harassing Rukongai’s citizens. Again Hiro stepped in and scared them half to death with the power that radiated off of him, and it was not just the power of reiatsu. But The power he had when being in a brutal military and the ability to know how to deal with people like them.. So he used his military experience to really kind of warn the students of the consequences of harassing citizens of rukongai once more. He had strength of spirit. That was what made him a leader, but a leader with a fault. He never grew attached to the new group of citizens that now followed his example in protecting other weaker people. But there were a few that abused this privilege and were severely punished. Hiro when it came to people like them was extremely ruthless.
The years went by and he and his rag tag gang of followers finally held a meeting. It was a meeting that would forever change Hiro's Life. The Gang had said that the shinigami could be whipped into shape if you taught them they way you had taught us. It was at that Moment when Hiro made a decision. He looked back to the day when he attacked the Shinigami for saying the things he did about the old couple he used to live with. It was then when it all clicked in his mind. It was then when he laughed in spite of his stupidity. This thing they called reiatsu was half of the backbone that made him the commanding and strict leader he was during these times. His followers and their constant support of their leader was what made him feel at home. It made him feel like he was a part of an army. It Made him feel like he was in Sparta again.. Although he had no memory of what had happened in his human life, he did however never really feel at home until he was like this. With his own little army of followers that believed in him. And He Believing in them. It was that Night he made his decision to become a Shinigami. Within that Night he promote a close friend of his to carry on his will and keep their band alive. And With those final promotions and fond farewells, Hiro departed from his army and into the Shinigami Academy.
He Remembered full well his army in rukongai, but didn’t worry, knowing that he left them in the hands of a very capable leader. He Left With Only The memories of his former band of policemen that did justice to the criminals that ran rampant through rukongai. The Man made his way through the districts and finally came across the Shinigami academy. Now Hiro, wasn’t exactly impressed by the look of the academy, seeing as he (in his opinion) had seen a much better academy when he was alive. So, Hiro walked into the academy and then was stunned by what was within. This didn’t look like a school! It looked like a freaking mansion! Hiro wasn't used to the newer surroundings the academy had but he still kept his cool and walked to the area for new recruits. The Silver haired male knew well enough it was probably not going to be easy to get into the academy, but when he saw that swordplay was the main part of the entrance exam.. he wanted to laugh. And So later that week Hiro took part in the entrance Exam for the Shinigami academy. He Walked into the arena and looked to see that Taichou stood before him as well as many other high ranked shinigami as they let out his opponent from the opposite side of the ring. Another recruit. They were armed with wooden katana, and they began their fight. Having already been extremely physically fit, Hiro had an advantage or so.. but his opponent was fast... extremely fast. And So the wooden blades clashed many a time before his opponent collapsed from exhaustion and Hiro stood using the wooden blade for support.
Next was the Second Part of the exam. First he got a crash course in what Kidou was and how to utilize its power, and so right off the bat Hiro knew the incantations for the 1st level Hadou and 1st level Bakudou. In this part of the exam he was to show that he could successfully bind and then destroy a stuffed dummy using the two kid. Compared to sword play this was much more complicated But Hiro did manage to pass that part of the exam. Now for the judges what astounded them was his combat ability as a swordsman. And His skills with a sword were what got him into the academy. Now, as a student He wore... a rather uncomfortable and annoying uniform that he thought restrained his movements. Even in the academy Hiro felt like these Shinigami needed to be whipped into shape. These lessons with just lectures were never going to teach them a thing! After All words could only do so much to teach a student what they needed to know. But Hiro knew well enough to not speak what he thought of the academy's set up unless he wanted to face expulsion or worse... So Throughout the Lectures, He did find one that piqued his interest quite a bit. And That was the history of the sword style: "Kendo." Hiro often listened intently On what this sword technique did for a person and, he often trained with that style in the small field that was dedicated to training students. Being That sword play got him into this academy he intended to become one of the greatest sword wielders of all time.
Like The Other Students, he had his many aspirations. His was to become one of the most recognized swordsmen in all of soul societies history. So He continued to work himself to his limits as he would when he was a child in the academy in Sparta. So As He toughed out the tiresome lectures and histories of the Shinigami in this freshman year... he made sure that he played attention.. no matter how hard it was.. Seeing as He wasn't exactly at the time most proficient with the Kidou at that time, he often stayed after hours in school just to make sure he nailed everything into his head before leaving. Call Him an Odd student.. But That was the way Hiro was.. someone bound and determined to surpass the rest.. That included the people in the advanced classes. Now Truly This Student Had Many opinions upon the setup of the school just by being there a year. Now There was a Short Vacation from the school that lasted.. a week. Great! Finally Hiro could stretch out his muscles and check on his buddies in Rukongai. And That was exactly what He did. But To only Find That his band of once heroes turned into a band of thieves. They All Had Changed within the period of time he had gone. Hiro looked down at them in pure disgust and merely spoke to them as he would have any other criminal when he resided in this place. After an exchange of harsh words Hiro Left Rukongai and headed back to the academy where he could further his knowledge.
Finally A More Interesting year! It was His second Year In The academy, and now instead of lectures there were more hands on experiences. Such as now there were sparring matches within the lessons of sword history and wielding. Hiro Still wasn't exactly used to the Katana style blade that the shinigami used. After all He used a sword that was much different when he was in Sparta. But Still Slowly But Surely he adjusted to the Blades Style, Balance and the form used to wield it. Back in the Academy Entrance Exam he was Merely winging it. In How To Wield such a blade. And It Obviously was correct in some way because here he was in his second year in the academy. During The sparring sessions, Hiro often wouldn't volunteer to go and spar with the teacher, he would be forced to spar by being called to the front of the class for "messing around" in class. When He Did Spar he fought well and knew how to read movements and attack patterns.. in a slight way. But His Downfall every time was the fact he was easily distracted from the task at hand. Not saying that he would stop in the middle of the fight to watch a butterfly, but, it is rather hard to concentrate with students making comments about you as you fight. But Then Again they weren't insults.. most of the time. Often when distracted Hiro near always took a blow to the abdomen that would knock him back quite a few feet before the teacher picked the next student to spar with. But Along With the positives of his talent in swordsmanship... there were quite a few negatives. One being the fact that he didn't know exactly when enough was enough when sparring with another student in his class. Being That he'd often go at the student the way he would with the teacher.. meaning the opponent in the mock battle would often times be crushed under the barrage of blows that were how he was used to attacking.
Now Alongside Zanjutsu, there was Kidou Classes He took part in. And Thanks to The extra study sessions he forced himself through the year Prior, Hiro showed immense strength in this area, that belittled that of his sword talent. In This Class, as usual he would lay low and watch the rest of the class do what they were told until it was his turn. Now he didn't exactly never volunteer, But more or less he steered away from that just because he "Volunteered" enough in the Zanjutsu Classes. Hiro when he did participate did show strength and much growth from the previous year and so The teacher he was with continued to keep Hiro after hours at the school to help him with whatever he could tell the man was struggling in. Keeping Himself in a low profile image was easy as the quieter man named Hiro went through his secondary year in school like he did with his first. Despite his strengths in Zanjutsu and Kidou, this was only for a student. Hiro was still nothing compared to what the graduated shinigami, and the upperclassmen were. It was During This Year That he noted that his sword wielding skills were also beginning to dullen because of the many Kidou lessons he had drilled into his head. As He went through the rest of the year he juggled classes and staying after to keep his memory sharp. Then Came the next vacation before his third year was to be started.
His Third Year wasn't his favorite. Not At all. It was just like his freshmen year, But this year focused on the History of Soul Society and with a little bit of the classes he called "The Good classes" Hiro was now learning how this place was formed by the soul king and what the ranks were within the Gotei divisions, And Now he kept his mouth shut and forced himself to pay attention and pass. His Grades in this year weren't exactly things to be proud of. But he made sure he passed with at least the average score. After all They didn't have to just sit there and talk did they? They Couldn't have at least Taken tours of the place? After it would be a lot more useful and fun for the students he had made friends with to look at the places the teacher rambled on and on about. He learned of the soutaichous rank and just who Orion Ichiban was. Hiro merely thought it as he would have in Sparta. Orion was the commander of the military that was the shinigami and the Gotei divisions. The Male student kept his low profile as the year dragged on like Molasses In January. But even the most patient of students had their limits and this year was pushing the limits this man had. But Finally as the year came to its close he suffered through it and received and empty Zanpakutou used for sparring reasons alone. It was the one thing he would need most in his final year in the academy.
In His Now Final Year In The academy was when the teacher would most often bring the students into the realm of the living for hollow simulation training. This was something Hiro Immensely enjoyed seeing as he now wasn't stuck in a classroom, listening to an annoying teacher drone on and on about something that he thought was rather mindless and had no real value to it. Here he was now actually fighting what they were going to fight when they graduated. Hiro often would take on no more than two hollows at one time. But there was one time when he tried to take one more than what he could handle and he paid dearly for it. A slash to his eye ruined it and forever marred the left side of his face with an rather ghastly scar that is now hidden by the eye patch. From that moment he realized he needed to change his act.. and so he did. He kept to the smaller hollows and worked his way up the scale before the graduation exam. Where each student would have to fight the breed of hollow called a "Huge hollow" Hiro now looked and watched his enemy with caution. his eyes narrowing and he finally after dodging many attacks found an opening and took advantage of it. Slashing the hollows mask clear through with a deft movement of his arm. The Graduation Ceremony was where he received his blade Masami. And From then On he was known as a shinigami.
Now As A graduate He was to be chosen by a Taichou to join their division. Hiro was out training that fateful day when the Taichou of the fifth division walked past and observed the man sparring with a friend. He noted the way Hiro would more so try and use his mind to overwhelm his enemy in the mock battle rather than attack and try killing with just brute force. A grin spread across the taichous face as the battle continued. The Zanpakutou clashing in a shower of sparks. A more serious expression sitting upon Hiro's Face, whilst his friend has a fiendish grin as if he enjoyed the adrenaline that coursed through his veins as they continued to fight. Even then unbeknownst to them both there was a taichou watching the twosome. Watching them was none other than The fifth division captain himself. A Shunpo was all that was needed to reveal himself to the two fighting graduates and they stopped immediately. What was Hiro's First Impression? This Guy is one weird dude. Hiro's cold blue eyes examined the taichou sizing him up and really wondering if he was a taichou or if he was just another wannabe. After a rather long Conversation with the Blonde male, Hiro was then made an Unseated Shinigami in the fifth division. Now in the fifth and knowing that well... he was a long way from the rank he desired in this division. Time went by and the unseated shinigami made many friends after a long and tense year at the academy.. his truly boisterous and all around happy personality resurfaced.
In this time as an unseated shinigami, Hiro stepped up the training regimes he had as now he was often out on missions to kill hollows running rampant in the world. The Training sessions often included much sparring with higher seated members. Seeing as if he wanted a seat up there, then why not spar with them to gauge their strength and work yourself past that limit that your opponent had. It was merely a strategy that he used in all battles. So he began his regime sparring with the fifth seat of the division. Hiro focused not on taking out the seated member, but watching his movements and remembering his strategy. Yeah... he was good at gathering the info he needed. But what to do with it? He did what Hiro did best, which was write everything he remembered about his opponent down. and try to figure out how would be the safest and most efficient way to take down this opponent without killing him; Even though the chance of that was slim to none. But he was going to make sure he didn't look like a fool when fighting for that rank. After all, The Thing that helped him beat the students in the academy, was this exact strategy. So why not try it out here? So the many weeks eventually turned into months of being an unseated division member when he challenged the fifth seat of his division to a fight for rank. The Man Obviously not knowing why Hiro chose him to spar with, accepted the challenge and then by getting the match approved by his taichou they set out for the training grounds where they would start the match.
This Fight dragged on for hours as Hiro even then didn’t really have a fighting strategy, But slash the weak points that he had found. Suddenly Though his being was dragged into its inner world. Hiro merely floated in the endless night with winds carrying him to the unknown island in the sky His body being dragged by the extremely fast currents of air brought him to an windswept island in the ocean of air. Where the air currents suddenly stopped blowing as he caught a glimpse of a flash of while and blue amongst the greenery and foliage of the forest he was at the foot at, He know where he was, but he could never figure out why this woman would not tell him her name or why she resided in his mind until he came to a realization. This woman was the embodiment of his Zanpakutou... The silver haired man on the outside looked as if he was put into auto pilot whilst the mind of Hiro was wandering the inner world following a trail of paw prints and human foot steps until he reached the clearing an a voice as smooth as silk, but as menacing as a poison rang clear through his mind. "Call My Name" was all that the woman said before Hiro looked at the now appearing form of a maiden garbed in white. Her coal black eyes looking right at him with a stare that was as terrifying as it was mesmerizing He could only look at her with the same stupid expression he first had when she asked him of this. But Finally he knew... suddenly the name came to him like an old song finally remembered. Without further ado he was thrust back into the world of reality as he finally called the name of his sword. "Kirameki, Masami" The sword dissipated into ash and the opponent had breathed much of the ash in when he finally collapsed. His Taichou looked intrigued by the sudden ash cloud that had formed before it disappeared and reformed into the sword again.
He watched his taichou Shunpo down and merely grin as Hiro looked stupidly at the collapsed body of his opponent. "Congrats yer a fifth seat now." Hiro then looked up at his taichou and then back at his opponent. "Oh an' don' worry yerself, he’s just drained of reiatsu" Hiro merely blinked and looked at his blade in complete confusion before the familiar female voice ran in his mind, "Congratulations, You reached shikai Hiro." So now it made sense.. or at least a little sense. The man suddenly grinned a little and then began his walk back to the division now carrying a rank with him. Now You could say in battle, never use the same strategy twice... But Hiro was fond of gathering as much information as he could on the next seat he aimed for, which was that of the third seat. His Taichou knew the strategy that Hiro had planned out and noted that was a natural talent of those in the third division. So Despite his records from the academy about his impeccable Kidou skills, he would transfer the young man if he gained the rank he was looking for now. It was also at this time when another major change was in the works. The twelfth division taichou had been promoted to the zero division. And He often noted that whenever his taichou took a trip over there to see how the new taichou was fairing he would always come back with a bloody and probably broken nose. It was really something That Hiro found amusing as the months went by and He kept fighting with the Third seat and extremely prolonged training sessions that required him to use Kidou. The Taichou would often be there to observe the sessions as he took great interest in this man that had jumped from nothing to a fifth seat. Yeah, The academy was right, that his kidou skills were very good. And finally he watched his third seat get bound and dropped to the ground by a smartly used Bakudou. Sweat dripped from Hiros form as he looked back to his taichou and within the next day he had been moved to the third divisions third seat.
Change, was it good? Hiro didn't know. The man sat in the third division now conversing with his taichou Hiro was well suited for the rank he had, seeing as he had a natural talent for gathering information on suspicious figures in soul society.. He had more intellect than much else. Though his skills in kidou and Zanjutsu were amazing he wasn't at all good at hand to hand combat. And That was his main problem. The Man Resided within the third division constantly carrying out missions without question. He was known as the "Loyal Dog of the Third Division" for a while. The years passed and Finally it dawned upon the man as he was sent out on a mission with a close friend. He wanted to reach bankai.. Whilst the two were out on this mission a gang of hollow of all size and species had appeared in Karakura. As If something or Someone baited them here. Immediately knowing what to do he and his friend went to work dispatching the hollows one by one. But it was as if the masses of hollow were unending and they were just cutting through nothing. The fight lasted a while until the two were reaching the ends of their lines. When suddenly a bigger reiatsu than any of the hollows came into the fray. Immediately it was as if the hollows backed off as one enormous hollow appeared. His Friend Immediately charged the hollow without any thought as he began to fight it. Hiro could only stand in shock. his friend was from another division.. the division of fight lovers. And to watch him just lose all sense of sanity just so he could defeat this one opponent there, was a little more than traumatizing. The fight continued until a cry of pain was emitted from his friend. he looked to see his comrade impaled on the hollows claws. Until he went limp and the Zanpakutou he carried was dropped and the hollow dropped the shinigami it had killed and went off to find something more fun to fight.. or so Hiro thought. In The dying moments of his friend he was then given the sword he had used as a memento of this day and how His closest friend gave his life to keep Karakura safe.
But For this man, this was only the first of the tragedies that day. The hollow came back and then proceeded to fight Hiro thinking he would be a much better fight. Hiro using only the kidou he knew to bind the hollow so he could kill it was all he could think of. He didn't care about the openings he left until an immense pain shot through him. A huge rope like cut had now taken place across his back. But suddenly before he thought about giving up a voice shot through his mind. "Dont You DARE think of giving up. This will make your friends death in vain. Dont you think of dying" Hiro groaned in pain and then forced himself not to pass out. With whatever power he had left he cast the binding kidou that caused the hollow to fall to the ground with a loud crash. After that Hiro used his blade and slashed the hollows mask through and then passed out. The Twelfth division seeing the reiatsu signatures disappear from the tracker, sent out a request for a medical team to be dispatched to the area along with a few shinigami. The 1st division approved the request and so they found Hiro crumpled in a heap holding onto life with whatever strength he had. They pronounced his friend dead and Hiro in critical condition due to the blood loss.. and the fact that a few nerves in his back were severed.. which mean Hiro might never walk again. The Silver haired male didn't really know how he ended up alive after that mess, but all he knew was that he had to thank his sword for whatever it was she did to keep him alive throughout the battle.
When Hiro did wake up, he was hooked up to all kinds of machines. What he didn't know is whist he had been asleep a far bigger tragedy had struck soul society. 8 Shinigami of either taichou or fukutaichou rank had disappeared from soul society. What he didn't know is that one of those taichou was his own taichou. The man stayed in bed for a while. Often having the extensive wound n his back checked for any sign of infection. Luckily Hiro had no signs of infection with the wound.. but there was a big question that needed to be answered. Would he walk again? Would he be able to serve the Gotei 13? Hiro was about to find out. After having said that he didn't need any of the machines for him to stay alive they unhooked all but the IV in his arm. Hiro Stood up for a bout a few seconds and the needed to use whatever he could find as a cane to make sure he could stand stably, The Taichou of the fourth Came in and talked to hiro about how it would be a long while before he would be able to walk again. The Man knew this and decided to take a leave from the Gotei to teach at the academy. That is after long hard month of learning to walk again.
Once he got back on his feet he was suddenly struck that he should also stay with the Gotei to help protect the squads so letting teaching be his main duty, the former third seat took up residence now in the academy becoming one of the newest teachers with the more or less non traditional teaching style known to the academy. But he was always on call and ready to help his squad whenever they needed extra people for a mission and such. But teaching seemed to be a passion that not many people saw him with. Years and Years Passed and he taught many students, but nothing could have prepared anyone for what had happened the fateful day a former friend was to be executed. Souske Aizen, and his two cohorts, all left soul society to ally with the most disgusting race that existed, the hollows. Hiro wasn't exactly shocked. Not at all, In fact he was more disgusted and angry than anything. Now his former division was probably running rampant in panic, because they had no leader to tell them what to do.
Then The appearance of the negated souls was another whole thing for this man. He never faced one in battle, but he had heard of the gruesome tales of how the supposed leader of the Negated defeated a fukutaichou and her comrade without any difficulty. He himself felt helpless that he couldn't even try and help defend soul society. He was stuck here teaching. This was one of the few times where Hiro had to leave the academy to figure out what the hell was going on with these supposed negated. Only Gaining bits and pieces of information Hiro became frustrated and finally one day saw one of the negated appear in Rukongai. That was all he needed to see to know he needed to step up in his teaching regimes. Now also adding in tips to keep yourself alive even if the opponent is much stronger than you. Only using his knowledge from that accident those many years prior to this day he passed on everything he knew to the students of that year.
Currently nowadays he is more active in the Gotei than he is in teaching. But he still manages to keep everything balanced out. And Sooner or later he is aiming to leave teaching at the academy to go back to his division.
Roleplay Sample:
Eh?" Kitaro said, poking at the child. They were so tiny, how could she see him?
The vein on the blue eyed girl's forhead throbbed as her eyes narrowed. She glared up at the much taller man. Both had thin figures, but he was lanky and she was... Well, she almost seemed graceful.
"How d'ya see me?" Kitaro questioned curiously, leaning back on the wall behind him. "Geez, what, do all ya humans see us now? Eh?"
He poked the fuming girl again, curious to see if she would actually respond. Well, he got a response. It just wasn't one that he wanted. He got a shoe to the face, and then the girl slammed her window shut, right on Kitaro's finger. "OW!"
He glared at the girl through the window for all of three seconds before he finally just gave up and stopped trying. He began to walk away, fuming at the girl who had just crushed his finger in the window. As he left he muttered, "Friggin' human
