It's Just Grass...
Wed Nov 20, 2013 2:13 pm
Ahhh, it's always pleasant in Soul Society... besides when all hell breaks loose, then it's not pleasant. Which is most of the time... Nevermind, I should just erase that thought. Eliah shook her head trying to erase her previous thought, bringing a grimace upon her face. The more I think about erasing a thought the more I think about! I hate that! She let out a gargantuan moan of agony. Why do you hate me brain? Stabbing her right temple with her index finger continuing to moan. Dammit, leave me alone, thoughts! The stabbing became more rapid and thorough. The red fluid she was oh, so familiar with began to flow from her pierced and irritated temple. Realizing she was bleeding after taking a look at her finger. Emitting yet another moan, and drooping her head. Eliah casually strolled, well as casual as she could be, through dirt path that looked to be traveled before by many. Yellow and brown leaves covered the ground and the sun penetrated through the near naked trees. Fall it was, the air was cool, but not harsh, and the sound of leaves crunching underneath feet was music to Eli's ears. A melody she wished stayed all year, but sadly doesn't because her life sucks and nobody cares, or so she would say. "Blehhhhhh... I'm bored." Whining as she applied pressure to her self-inflicted wound. This type of thing happened to her too often, getting carried away with her own thoughts leading to actions that inflict minor pain to herself. It wasn't that she had emotional problems, she just was silly and melodramatic about things. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. Crunchcrunchcrunch. Running through her mind as she took each step and then began to hum with her footsteps, which took her mind off her previous thoughts, finally. Proceeding on her stroll with a joyful tone she began to realize how nobody else was really around here often, but yet the grass had died and left nothing but dirt. She would only take these strolls once every four or five months, so there was no way that it was her doing that killed the grass. Curiosity began to stab at this poor kitten. "Why? Why? Why? Why?" She repeatedly began to say in replacement of the crunching sound, it was obvious that this would be going on until she figured out what exactly was going on here. Was it because these paths used to be walked long ago, or have people just been walking the same exact time for thousands of years? She was puzzled, grass doesn't just die in a perfect path like this, there had to be more to it. A small gust of wind brewed up and lifted her altered, skimpy kimono up over her head exposing her undergarments. She didn't pay mind to it and continued to walk without much vision except for the sound of the leaves, which were everywhere. So it didn't help much. "BLEHHH!" Eliah exclaimed and whipped her arms around rapidly. "WHYYYYY?" She grasped her kimono and brought it back down to her legs covering herself back up. She was the only one here, it didn't matter really to her. Then again, she hadn't trained in sometime, she couldn't even remember the last time she tried to sense someone's reiatsu. Wow, why am I even a Shinigami, sometimes I just don't know. She was so lackadaisical when it came to her Shinigami duties, as well as training and anything that had to do with the Gotei 13. She used to be so interested in all of these things when she had first joined. It's been over fifty years since she first joined the protection squads and she hadn't made much progress at all. This started to make her think about it, but then a dragonfly flew by and resulted in a loud yelp that echoed throughout the trees. She hated those damn things, they don't really do anything, but they're still scary as hell. That and why do they have to go so fast and run into things all the time? Ewww... |

The red haired girl walked slowly along the dirt path, lost in though. Her red eyes looked up towards the sky, hands in the pockets of the sports jacket she was wearing. She appeared to be an adolescent, about sixteen years of age. In addition to the jacket she wore a white tee shirt and a pair of jeans that showed off her body. As she continued, she brought her thoughts and eyes back to earth, though her eyes widened in shock at what she saw. A gust of wind had blown up the kimono another girl was wearing, showing off her undergarments. Aish didn’t know the girl who was coming towards her on the path, and a sigh escaped her lips as she saw the female bring the clothing back down.
“Oy, why don’t you fucking watch what you’re doing? I honestly didn’t need to see that yah know.”
Looking closer, Aish noticed that the girl seemed to have an injury on her temple, as if she had been stabbed by something. A quick chaos warp brought her a couple feet in front of the girl, a soft whistling escaping Aish’s lips before she spoke.
“What the devil… you’re injured. Ugh, here, let me heal you.”
She quickly grabbed the female’s arm to prevent her from running away, and seconds later Fawkes soared over, landing lightly on Aish’s shoulder. His red and orange plumage shimmered brightly in the light from the sun, and Aish smiled at the bird. Using her free hand, she ran it down the bird’s head and back while speaking.
“Hey Fawkes, I know you don’t usually enjoy doing this, but will you do me a favor? Can you shed a tear on her wound?”
Fawkes looked at Aish, the amber eyes blinking once before the bird seemed to nod. Fluttering over to the female, the bird would attempt to shed a single tear on to the wound. If he managed it, the injury would start to suddenly heal, eventually closing up completely. Once this was done, Aish would release the woman’s hand, grinning at her.
“That feel better? I hope so, thank you Fawkes.”
The bird trilled softly and then took flight again, soaring out in to the forest.

It had been another rough day for Miaka. She had spent most of her time looking for information on the wear-a-bouts the other members of her family. She had been determined to locate everyone so that they could all be reunited into one big family once again. Yet, once again no leads were found. She was working to find her mother and siblings. She had asked her brother Tsui for help but the useless stay useless. She wondered why he was the one to become the head of the Yazaki family when he did nothing but lay around and be lazy.
Everything about today just pissed her off. She was working her ass off for her family while her older brother did nothing. She worried how her idiot of a younger brother was holding up. He would be unable to find his way out of a paper bag, while her twin sister had died when she was young and she wanted to see her once more.
Miaka decided that it would be best to let off some steam in a nearby area. It would be best to continue to work her body to improve for the future. She thought about how people nearby wouldn’t mind if she cut some things down and destroyed the remains with her flames.
”THAT DAMN BASTARD TOO LAZY TO EVEN HELP ME OUT. IT’S HIS FAMILY TOO SO WHY DO I HAVE TO BE THE ONLY FUCKING ONE TRYING TO FIND EVERYONE. GOD DAMN IT. I should relax and calm down and do some training. I think some wide open area should be good for me. I will show that idiot that he should shape up and be a leader then sleep. “
Miaka walked into an area where she discovered two other people. Who they were was unknown to her but this was perfect to help work off her stress and kick the lazy out of them. Miaka walked up to the two individuals and got ready to introduce herself.
”It is a pleasure to meet you my name is Miaka Yazaki of the Yazaki Family. I am looking for some release from my own stress and anger. I am currently hoping that you two could help me with that. What I am asking is for a spar to push the body. I am also a member of the gotei 13 and one of the gotei must keep their body in the best shape in case of any emergency.”
Miaka noticed that the women in front of her was also part of the gotei as they were clothing similar to what is worn in the gotei 13. She expected that she could provide an excellent challenge yet the other man with her was unknown. The feeling she got from him was that he was not a shinigami but something else. What he was she did not know but did not hold much concern for it as it didn’t matter who she sparred with she just wanted to punch something in the face.
”so any takers?”

Blah, blah, blah. This bitch doesn't shut up. She kinked one eye toward the red haired girl. "Who cares if I'm injured I did it to mys-" Eli tried explaining, but was interrupted by the sudden grab of her arm, she tried to pull away but the chick had a damn death grip on her. "The hell!?" Eli shouted as the bird came down toward the two of them. Alright, this was weird this girl that she had just met was talking to a bird, why in the hell? This had Eli flabbergasted for a second, but didn't last long until that jaw started flappin' again. "Why are you talking to that bird? The hell is wrong with you, let go of my arm!" She tried pulling away again and failed, she didn't want to put full effort into getting away because that just wasn't her. If anything she'd just pull out her Zanpakutō and dismantle that string that was hanging from her sleeve that she called an arm. The bird dropped a single tear drop onto the self-inflicted wound on her temple as it began to fly away she spit toward it, probably getting some spray on the girl holding her. She ripped her arm back from the broad and rubbed it. "What's your deal? You're lucky I'm sober or you'd be missing a your damn love hand." She cooled off after letting out a sigh and came to realize that her head no longer ached like it was before. She rubbed the wounded spot and felt renewed skin. "Well, I don't know what you feed that bird... but it worked. Thanks, I guess." Staring at the bird as it soared off into the distance. Still puzzled by what this girl's deal was and why she was so nice to a complete stranger made her lead to only one thought. Lesbian. Must I ask myself this question all the time? Whyyyy? Or maybe she is just nice... who knows. I'm not cool with her either way, she just assaulted me in order to fix my head. Not cool, but play it off. She smirked at the red headed girl as yet another voice chimed in behind her something about Miaka something or other. She heard her last name twice, but wasn't really in the mood to pay attention to what was being said after being harassed for a healing. Even though the bird was pretty cool. The Miaka girl went on to tell them she wanted to spar, so that she can be "Gotei go" as Eliah liked to call it. People that were just too into their job. "All I wanted to do was take a stroll." She muttered and slumped her head down. She spun on her right foot toward the newcomer and glanced at her, she was pretty. At least by Eliah's standard's she was pretty. Why would she want Eliah to ruin her face for training? "Meeh, nah. I'm good, I was just talking a walk through the forest." As she came to a halt on her spin she lifted her left leg up and slapped down to the ground in a nice spot where the leaves were caked up to ankle height. "But I could be swayed otherwise, this girl did set me off..." She looked up at the red headed girl, "So who the hell are you, I should put you in the position I'm right now... but you did heal me. I'm enigmatic about this whole situation." Her decision would solely be based on that of the bird chick's decision. "Well...?" |

Aish felt her temper flame up as the brat before her started berating her. She pushed the anger away, it would be pointless to utilize these feelings at this time. Once Fawkes had finished healing the girl, Aish let her go, backing off a few steps. When the girl commented on Fawkes’ healing ability, Aish snorted.
“I don’t feed Fawkes anything special, he’s a phoenix. As for what’s my deal, I just was in a good mood and decided to be nice. Don’t make me regret my decision, little bitch.”
Turning, she started to walk away, but another girl showed up. Stopping, Aish looked at her, listening to what she said. Smiling, she heard what the female she had healed said and smirked. Turning to her, she answered the questions that had been asked of her.
“I am Aish Iramasha, and I doubt you could harm a single hair on my head, foolish girl.”
Turning to the newcomer, she raised her hands in a hand to hand combat form.
“I’ll spar with you miss, I need to let off some steam anyways. Don’t worry about using your sword, I doubt you’ll be able to injure me. Let’s go Fawkes!”
Waiting for the woman to be ready, Fawkes flew back to Aish, flying in circles above the two. When they were ready, Aish took a breath.
“Let’s try this out, I’d like to see how a shinigami deals with it. Chaos Blast.”
Raising her had towards the challenger, Aish gathered her chaos energy, letting loose a massive wave of bright red energy towards her. The chaos blast sped towards her opponent, and Aish waited until it had finished to lower her hand, taking another breath before bringing herself back in to a defensive stance. She wasn’t going to hold back at all here, she could always heal them up afterwards if necessary.

As Miaka made her comments she also expected a reaction from the others. Yet she could tell the laziness that came from the other shinigami as she spoke and gave her response. Miaka was bothered by her uncaringness for the gotei and lack of respect. She restrained herself and noticed how the girl snapped at being healed by a stranger. Miaka grinned at the fact that her challenged was accepted by the other woman who appeared and healed the whining shinigami. Miaka planned on dragging that same shinigami into this battle just to enjoy punching her. She knew that her fight had just started and a blast of energy came right at her but the confidence coming from her opponent seemed to radiate from them,
Yet, it surprised her to see a strange attack coming from the other girl. It was something she had never encountered before. It appeared to be coming towards her quickly. Miaka responded by releasing flames from her body and creating a layer of harden crystals to protect her as she moved out of way, avoiding what she could of the blast. The some of the blast did hit her but she the crystals protecting her had been able to soften the blow by spreading the blow among its surface area Miaka’s entire arm. After that blow Miaka recovered from the slight shock she had and pushed her body forward. She swung her blade throwing out a wave of crystals and having them explode covering the area in smoke. Once that happened Miaka gathered her flames and had them engulf her let fist while, also swiftly hardening it with a thin layer of jagged crystals. She gave her legs the energy to spring to life and make it towards the woman who attacked her with a wave of energy. Once she made it towards her foe she proceeded with her attempt of connecting her fist with the woman’s face. At that moment if the connection was made she would set the thing layer of crystals she had on her to explode causing even more harm to the “pretty face” of her opponent and letting off some of that steam she needed removed.
Miaka also aimed small exploding crystals at Eliah. Hopping to have her too join into this scramble.
”Hey lazy. Get up and get some exercise. I will drag you into this too. It’s no fun getting rid of stress when no one else is really willing to participate. Or are you not willing to test yourself? Maybe I should go speak to a brick wall they might be willing to listen more then you.”
Miaka tried her best at gathering words that would at least cause a reaction from Eliah but kept herself ready to counter. Miaka wasn’t the best at actively pissing people off but she was good at trying to keep people in line. This was not one of those days where she would keep people in line. She wanted a fight and she was expecting one.
