She had expected him to attack her or at very least simply try to dodge her attacks but when she saw him flipping himself over her she knew that he was going to be making a counter. She did her best to flip herself with him launching herself forward while twisting over so that her back was soaring over the ground with her chest up facing him. She was still moving forward and she couldn't stop now that she wasn't on the ground. She watched him thrusting his blade down towards her shoulder. He was aiming for her right side when he jumped but with her flip it was now her left that his sword was driving for. She tried to move to intercept his blade but she was to slow. His blade dug into her shoulder but between her spin and her Zanpakutō it was forced out quickly. It still seemed to be much more damage then what it should have been.

Physics forced her to keep spinning until she was facing the ground again. She pushed her Zanpakutō fist into the ground which allowed her to turn around quickly while getting her feet back on the ground to face him. She stood up and they were face to face again as if nothing had happened except the fact that now her shoulder was injured. She flexed her arm a bit just to test it out and make sure that everything was okay. Her arm was a bit slower then it should have been but it was still more or less usable. He managed to win that round.

"Free me from my bonds? Even if you were to beat me somehow you still would not free me. I am bound by something greater then all that. Something you cannot free me from."

This was something she doubted he would be able to understand. She was bound by a past she could not remember. The only thing she actually remembered was that battle of karakura town so long ago and her name. She wasn't an arrancar yet back then. Another thing that she was sure of was that she wanted revenge. She didn't know on who or what for but she knew that she wanted it. She could not allow herself to be defeated before she found some answers about herself.

Her shoulder was injured and it had slowed down her arm and weakened it a bit. She was going to have to be careful in order to be able to match him now. She couldn't do anything reckless. She still had her speed in the rest of her body so she would use that. She used her sonido appearing behind the man. She moved to hit him but before she connected she used another sonido to appear above him driving her black right fist towards him ready to use another sonido just in case it was needed to escape.

Roderich was inspired by her move. He had never found anyone who had enough creative intelligence to come up with a something like that. He had been in plenty of fights, but he had never seen anyone doing something like that. He was used to stale slow moves, but what she just did showed that she had something beyond what he originally thought she had.

"There is nothing greater than that. You say you don't know joy. The only people who are able to come up with something that innovative are the ones with passion for fighting. Before I end you, you are going to give me the fight of your life!"

This was a different level of a playing field than it usually was. The seriousness never effected him, but the thrill that he would be challenged on a field of combat gave him a reason to let loose and take some risks. Sense he learned how to face multiple foes in the academy he hadn't ever had any kind of opportunity to test his swordsmanship on someone new besides just random hollow slaying so this was an absolute treat for him

Her move was the same as the first. He was a bit aggravated, because it was the same as her last so he was able to track it much easier, but what he didn't count on is her appearing above him. In a countering move inspired by her own he fell backwards unable to do anything but take the punch if only a second later and a little lessened blow.

He followed by swiftly snatching her wrist with his free hand and in an attempt to pull out her true strength so he could fully test his skill he decided it was time to giver her and incentive. He stabbed his Zanpakutō at her bicep and as she was falling on top of him twisted her wrist and rolled his body swinging her body flat onto the ground with her wrist twisted and her arm fully extended behind her back with her front to the ground

"Show me your true power. I know you have more!"

He knew she was holding back with the sort of moves she had, she had to have the power to go with them

Rumors had brought Ace to this gigantic battlefield known as Australia. What he had heard was that his long lost friend, Axel, was somewhere deep in the heart of the war. His dark red leather jacket and long hair was flowing freely due to him sprinting at top speeds to get to where he needed. He crossed one city to the next, all of which looked like battlefields. He made sure to stay clear out of the cities which held the most destructive battles. He kept his spiritual pressure extremely low so that no one was able to detect him.

"What in hell's name is the reason behind you risking your dam life Axel." he thought as he kept on running. As he kept on running, he took quick glances at each battle. They all looked like a massive bloodshed. "I knew this place was bad, but I didn't expect it to this point so quickly." he thought. Soon, he reached a city where one rumor said that he would be in. "So this is Ballarat...," Ace thought upon reaching the city, "this place looks like hell already."

Ace entered the city and began walking around looking for Axel when he had stumbled upon a group of Monsuta soldiers lying on the floor. Ace began walking to them and examined each of them. He looked around and saw that it was a 1 vs 40. "An ambush that turned into a slaughter eh?" Ace thought. He then noticed a set of footprints led towards another part of the city. "These footprints lead to someone that might help..." Ace thought and began following the trail, keeping his spiritual pressure to an unnoticeable level.

After some following the footprints for some distance, he felt two strong spiritual pressures in the area ahead. "Looks like a battle going on." Ace said to himself with a sigh. He sprinted towards the area and found the two figures fighting. He moved out of sight and examined them closely. "A shinigami and an arrancar...should be an interesting fight considering both their spiritual pressures feel strong. Hmm went to go in..." Ace thought to himself as he saw the shinigami and hollow continue fighting. He continued to keep his spiritual pressure low and stayed hidden. His hand was on his face and the other on his zanpakutō, waiting for the right moment...

Yogenhoshi was already on the scene and hiding amid the debris of crumbling buildings and burned out vehicles, most of which were flipped one way or another. It wasn't out of cowardice but logic, as the Shinigami was obviously much better suited for this caliber of combat and hadn't even taken damage yet, plus field medics had implicit instructions not to be drawn into open conflict could it be avoided. You can't save lives if you aren't alive, yourself, he thought, beginning to detect the sound of approaching footsteps through the tumult. Probably heard the sound of battle and came running...

The problem was that it could be anyone, from any faction, and he felt morally obligated to interfere and give warning to his Shinigami ally-- currently locked in a duel of flurries-- of a new threat if this turned out to be an incoming Arrancar. He deliberately didn't make any sudden movement that might cause sound, as he was already laying on his stomach beneath a net of wreckage that ensured no-one would notice him until they were already close enough to strike at from the shadows. As the footsteps neared he held his breath, waiting to see what fate had dealt him, one hand aiming through one of the many breaches in his camouflage palm-outward; he already had a particularly nasty Hadō in mind. It packed a real punch and would definitely alert Roderich.

When Ace moved into visibility, still assessing the ongoing battle, Yogenhoshi slowly let out the breath he had been holding in anticipation and lowered his hand back to the cool pavement. The posture this new-comer adopted, almost like a stance, was odd to say the least. Why is he covering his face? he wondered, a thin eyebrow inclining quizzically. "Got an itch you just can't scratch?" he whispered from the nook, figuring it was best to to get his ally's attention before he could act and potentially catch something else's... attention. "Division?"

Killing field [Ballarat] [War for Australia] - Page 2 Empty Re: Killing field [Ballarat] [War for Australia]

She wasn't expecting him to fall over in order to try and counter her. She thought he would counter what he thought would be an attack from behind and be struck by her attack from above. His move of dropping seemed to actually be similar to her own move. He probably adapted it from what she had done to counter his strike from above. He would incorporate new moves and ideas that quickly spoke a lot about his skill. The two of them did seem to be very closely matched. One smart move by one side or the other could be what determined the outcome of this match.

She saw him grab her wrist and she knew that the outcome of this was going to be bad for her. She saw his blade stabbing towards her arm. She moved her own blade in to try and intercept it. She positioned it in the way to prevent her arm being stabbed but once they hit the ground and he twisted her so he would land on top her bladed arm somehow ended up under her body while he held her right arm still glowing with her reiatsu. It was a difficult position to get out off. Maybe it was more accurate to say that one bad move could decide the match.

He asked her to show him her power and at that moment she didn't know who had made the bad move here. She looked at her wrist in his hand. Less then inches away from the bare skin of his hand was the skin of hers. Her pheromones that she started making at the start of the fight still there waiting for skin contact. She started to tug at her arm which he would probably perceive as an attempt to free her arm but she was just pulling at that short distance to touch her hand to his. Her arm might be glowing with reiatsu but it was still just her arm there. He would be in for a big surprise should she succeed in the contact. She pulled just a little more to close the distance and watched as her wrist moved just a little to create what she wanted. He probably wouldn't be to let go in time even if he did know what was going to happen.

Still even if he did let her get in the contact there was the risk of him being able to use it against her or being able to resist it. Plus with how little would be applied from this touch it would probably take a small amount of time to get applied so she had to figure a way out of where she was. She knew that struggling against him would not wield much result so she had to come up with something creative. She saw her blades on the ground beneath her. She thought of a way to get free but it was risky. She wasn't able to control it very well but she just needed to get herself loose. She charged her cero in the middle of her blades pointing them down into ground. She fired causing the ground to explode which would launch both of them into the air while creating a hole in the ground.

She knew that she took some damage from the blast but he wouldn't be entirely spared either. She used the time they were in the air to twist herself to face him. She planted her feet against him and pushed off with them launching him away from her towards the ground while she was pushed the other way. They would land on opposite sides of the hole. She positioned herself for a decent landing as she watched to figure out what this shinigami would do in reaction to this move.

Roderich still had a smile on his face and this wasn't bothering him, but it was turning out to be something that he didn't want to spend his time on. At first he believed this women could give him a challenge, but as it stood she wasn't being very interesting. In fact he was beginning to get bored with this step by step duel. It encouraged him to be a bit more innovative, but it wasn't enough to keep his interest. So he made the decision if she wasn't going to show him her power he would end it.

While she struggled to free her arm Roderich simply stabbed his Zanpkuto through her bicep and into the ground pinning it in place not allowing movement without extreme pain. As he saw the bright red light emanating from under her he had seen enough hollows to know what was about to happen. He twisted her arm behind her back with the hand that was holding her wrist as he rolled his body to the left he allowed her to take the majority of damage.

The cero then exploded sending them both into the air ripping his Zanpakutō from the ground and her arm. In mid-air when Miraya kicked Roderich away he was launched backwards and rolled to his feet. Brushing off his coat with his Lieutenant emblem on his right arm. He simply looked at the women.

"If you are not going to show me your power then this is no longer something that is fun.

He looked to the two shinigami that he noticed when he was in mid-air. He had the same smile he always had as he looked at the one who was visible and the other whom he had just barely noticed move around then returning his gaze to Miraya. He yelled to them

"If you want to join now is the time. If you wait to long there wont be much left, and Miraya I am sorry. If you aren't going to show me your power then I have no reason to keep letting this fight continue.

Roderich then raised his Zanpakutō pointing it at Miraya and raised his left arm pointing out to the left of him

"This is your last chance."

Ace noticed the shinigami behind him as he put his hand on his face. Hmm how very stealthy you are shinigami. Ace thought to himself as he kept on watching for his opening. Ace saw the battle unravel as he began looking for an opening. The shinigami, who looked like around like a squad leader of sorts, had pinned her to the ground. Ace watched carefully as she tried to move out of his grasp and then stop as she made contact with him. Hmm either she gave up trying to escape or some type of chemical coated her skin. Either way, probably best to not make body contact with her. Ace thought as he examined the fight in front of him.

He saw the lieutenant-like shinigami stab his sword into her bicep and Ace was about to come in and then saw the the bright red light that emanated from under her. He stopped himself and continued to watch as he saw the shinigami roll his body and get blasted into the air along with the hollow. Ace saw the hollow push away from the shinigami in the air and get a footing in their positions. That's when Ace heard the shinigami announce his presence along with the one next to him. "What a total ass that guy is, eh shinigami?" Ace said loud enough for the person next to him hear it and then made his move.

With a quick pull of his hand away from his face, his hollow mask appeared. He made a quick flash step towards the hollow. He appeared behind her and made a quick and powerful wing at her left side. He felt contact and made another quick strike for her right side. Upon hitting, he made a quick flash step besides the lieutenant looking figure to observe the effects of his attacks. "The name's Ace, by the way." he said to the shinigami next to him as he used his free hand to take off his mask.

Killing field [Ballarat] [War for Australia] - Page 2 Empty Re: Killing field [Ballarat] [War for Australia]

Yogenhoshi continued observing the scuffle as well, still laying beneath the camouflaging wreckage without any incentive to disentangle himself, something that could be easily done with surprising alacrity given his physical prowess. "Ass, eh? I'm not so sure about that..."

It seemed like a matter of preference, though some would frown upon goading an opponent into giving it their best shot in lieu of the potential for an upset and loss of life to the Seireitei cause, but others... well, the 11th Division was a shining example of those that enjoy the type of combat which pushes them to new levels, something to risk their very lives on in the name of power and the exquisite pain brought about by an all-out death match where the margin between two conflicting powers was too fine to be determined without a final decisive blow. He couldn't relish battle on that scale, himself, but he could applaud their irrepressible resolve. It truly was admirable.

With Roderich making an attempt to disable some of his opponent's maneuverability by piercing her arm and the Arrancar attempting to distance herself, it came as no surprise when Ace threw himself into the mix; the whole mask thing was a bit of a surprise, however. Huh, looks like we've got our own Vaizard on the field. Should be interesting.

That was a concept he hadn't yet been able to come to grips with, as the line between Plus and Hollow had always been definitive until Aizen Sousuke's mad campaign for power and authority over all things spiritual and the very realms they inhabited. As things turned out, mingling the two polar opposites not only increased an individual's power substantially but there was no guarantee the host's personality would be consumed to emerge as something else altogether. Conversely, there probably wasn't a guarantee to the contrary, either. Does it simply come down to a will to exist? A strong drive to not be undone?

Now that his two allies were openly engaging the lone Arrancar it seemed that things would wrap themselves up quickly, possibly without any injury to them or their cause, and he had no need to involve himself directly. He would simply bide his time and await the conclusion, unless circumstances changed to tip the current imbalance, then restore the fatigue and spiritual energies of both Roderich and Ace afterward.

The shinigami stabbed her in the arm when she was trying to get in her contact. He probably believed that would have stopped her from what she was trying to do with the contact but it was close enough that she didn't care about the pain. She had known pain before and she was able to fight through it for a bit. She looked at him after they were separated. He mentioned someone joining in with their fight which put her on guard because tactically that move only made sense if they were on his side. Sure enough not to much later a man appeared behind her making an attack at her left side. She caught his attack on her bladed wrist and he tried for her right side. She deflected the blow with her glowing right arm. After that strike he retreated towards the first shinigami.

"You cannot let this fight continue you say? Are you so sure of your capabilities to claim something like that."

She noticed his stance which didn't appear like a fighting stance. Maybe he was getting ready to release his sword to try and finish her off quickly. That combined with the additional help he now had would probably make quick work of her that way she was. Unless her pheromone managed to take effect on the first man she would be in for a tough fight. She couldn't wait any longer. She punched towards the newcomer launching away her quick barrage of 10 bala at the man wondering what he would do to save himself.

She raised her gloved arm in front of her preparing herself for what was to come. She didn't use this very often but this fight definitely demanded that she use everything she had.

"You wanted to see my power shinigami. Pray that you do not come to regret that decision." She looked up at the sky. "Ascend into the heavens and crash down again. Daten-si"

She punched into the air jumping up with the punch. They probably expected her to release to her true form but they probably didn't expect her to launch into the sky while doing it. She could feel her body growing larger her arms extending. Her already large shoulder blades burst out becoming large black wings. Her fingers became like claws each on lethal on its own and should she hold them together her arm would be like a spear. The backs of her arms grew jagged spikes that would deliver considerable pain should they ever enter her opponent. She fell back towards the ground her resereccion fully formed.

Roderich was a tad bit surprised in what she had turned into, but he was happier that she decided to finally release her power. He wasn't in Division 11 but in 9 and being who he was he just found more joy in this than these overly elongated fights, and when she got to join it made it all the more fun to him. By she it is his Zanpakutō. He didn't get the opportunity to bring her into play very often so it was exciting. His smile grew larger than before as his Zanpakutō was pointed at her and his arm to the left

"Rebel against the oppresive! Seira!"

A sky blue light began to fill the engravings on his Zanpakutō from the bottom of his blade all the way up to the tip, also filling the non-golden parts upon his hilt. It then climbed up his right arm in lines that wrapped around his arm nand danced across his chest to his other arm. It then began to materialize upon his body. Up to his right forearm there was a magnificent white armor and all the way from his left shoulder blade down to his finger tips was the same. A shield also appeared a little above his left wrist 2 1/2 feet in radius with four point star engravings that looked more like 4 crystals with a meeting point. The final addition was a seal upon the palm of his hand.

He looked upon the women in her new form and was definitely excited for what was to come next. Though he did not know what was to come next he was ready to finish this. He then Flash stepped to the right of her (his right) and with his left shield glowing and Seira in his right hand. With his shield glowing he bashed the rim of it into his chest and followed it with chopping Seira into her wing*
