IC SKYPE + IC XAT

«IC SKYPE AND IC XAT ROOM FOR PH»

I thought of adding something new to this site...

Some older members may remember the OOC RP xat, correct? Well, I was considering altering that idea and morphing it into something better. Instead of it being OOC, I was considering making an IC Xat & IC Skype. In these two groups, they would be sections of PH where people could go to have interactions that could mold the interactions between the two characters into the site.

Provided they write a short summary of their adventures in the IC Xat + IC Skype, along with having a witness so that role play is documented, it may be possible to do such a thing to make those OOC RP's count.

As I remembering feeling pretty bad I couldn't make the interactions Katashi had Canon, so I fiugre this might be the next best thing.

Tell me what you all think of this idea

Although I've never really done OOC rp'ing, nor any other rp'ing outside of the site, I do think this idea is pretty cool. So I'm going to support it :3

Sounds like a faster way to RP to me, which seems like it would increase activity. So I think it would be a good idea

I believe it would be fine as LONG as it's non altering events, and non combat oriented. Like it's a meeting, or two characters coming into contact for discussion, it could aid in speeding up potential history between individuals. There can be some hostilities, but to do fights in that speed adds to lack of detail, and frustration between individuals. So I'm cool with it just as long as it remains LOW confrontational and developing for small parties.

Alright, it seems like most are in alignment with this. As far as how the official system will go? I'll most likely reactivate the OOCRP Xat and then make an IC Skype for those who sign-up for it in a different thread. From there, I'll make a board in order for people to begin filling out different threads with a global template. What I mean by this is what you will go to the board, copy the locked template and then make your own template filling out the information as requested for a staff member to overview or witnesses to stamp.

Therefore, with all of this said, I'm most likely going to be going this a trial period in order to see how it will work on the site. This should be rather interesting for just getting to the point, making sure people are acquainted with each other and get some relations going.

Also, in terms of fighting....THERE WILL BE NOTHING THAT CHANGES THE SITE-LANDSCAPE IN THE SLIGHTEST ALLOWED. That is to say scraping, brawling and even some more serious fights will occur; but I will be denying anything like an OOC RP where some sort of invasion is taking place or they blow-up important landmarks. The type of fights I'm talking about are the ones where Katashi, Rin and others were just pitted against each other with alot of intense drama/plot.

I personally think this is a wonderful idea and I can't wait to see it grow. It allows for further expansion into the PH Universe as more characters can easily and quickly interact. It's a wise move to combine both speed and Forum Based RP into one and something I haven't seen any other forum do. And with everything else on PH it'll be something that sets us apart from the rest!

Alright, seeing how this system has gone into place, I feel there is no need for it to be placed into active Feedback Discussion. Therefore, I'm going to be moving this into arcvhied feedback and call it a day.
