War, and a New Beginning. [War for Australia; Bathurst]

War.. For quite sometime now there had been a possibility of it happening, given the weakened state of the Monsuta. And eventually it came.. Everything starting with Shadin launching an attack on the Monsuta and their allies, and thus, Australia as well. Surely the war wouldn't effect the rest of the world physically due too being centered in Australia, but the repercussions of said war could, in the end, affect things world-wide. Honestly, it likely already has, given that such a large conflict could not go without being sensed, and surely because of this more and more superpowers may potentially join the fray.Where does this all lead us? Nowhere really, aside from the varying countries keeping an eye on happenings in Australia. Of course more than just the various governments had to be keeping an eye on this, after-all with such a large scale conflict going on, mass amounts of spiritually aware people/beings would likely sense the conflict, even if they didn't quite understand what they sensed..
And this all comes down to one male. A male whom had been hearing rumors about the war for a few days now. A male whom had already been interested by the rumors. But upon finding out that said rumors were true.. Well.. The male's excitement peaked.. From there it took some time, but the male had come to a decision, he was going to Australia, his goals.. Who cares..
Of course at this point in time any public transportation to Australia had likely been cutoff. This much was to be expected. Alas, when someone like Volund is barred from traveling through public means, there's always a backup plan. Or in the case of Volund several backup plans. The teen, after various circumstances, ended up quite extensively rich. And possessing the money, and vehicles he does, travelling when the public could not, is no issue.
As such Volund made sure he would get to Australia. Opting to take one of his own private jets, which would then take him to Australia, or as close as safely possible. And so roughly fifteen hours after the teen's jet had taken off, we find it coming in for quite the turbulent landing. Of course things could have been simpler, but Volund in his excitement, had ordered the pilot to land in Bathurst. The cause for the turbulence of the flight? The various immense fights going on all over the country. In fact it seemed the closer the jet was getting to Bathurst, the more turbulent things became. The reason behind this, though unknown to Volund, was due to the proximity of such large clashes going on. Shadin himself was just over in Sydney, the likes of Zin & Hakai clashing over in Adelaide, and the rest of the various super powers that have arrived in this war.
Volund himself was already amazed at such powers. The teen male could feel the spiritual pressure saturating the air, caused by the various clashes and release of energies. And it all weighed down upon the teen. Now Volund was used to spiritual pressure before, and knew now, the pressure he had experienced in the past, was absolutely nothing compared to what he was feeling now. And yet the human male's excitement never diminished, in fact it just kept growing.. But was this a good thing? Would Volund be able to control himself at this rate? The answer to that.. No.. Volund would no be able to control himself.. Though he didn't quite notice it yet, his blood was already boiling from the excitement, his heart rushing, and the whispers were beginning to reach his ears. Each whisper promising bloodshed, power, destruction, justice, and above all else, insanity.
Slowly but surely Volund's Sadistic personality was bleeding through, taking over. Yet Volund himself never even noticed. Not even when he had began chuckling to himself. Though the chuckling would come to an end as the jet finally touched down. Volund honestly didn't know if Bathurst had an airport, and he didn't really care, why should he when the country was at war? So.. Volund had simply ordered the pilot to land wherever he could. And so Volund's private jet would land just outside of Bathurst, close enough that Volund would only need about a ten minute walk to get into the city limits.. Once there the male would begin to determine his plans, how to test himself, and above all else, how to survive.

Aish sighed as the ground passed beneath her, Fawkes the phoenix flying her through the air above Australia, heading towards the city of Bathurst. A war had broken out in this country and Aish knew her brethren from the Iramasha were taking part. However, Aish did not want anyone else to know she was here; after all she wasn’t ready to return to Iramasha Island just yet. So instead of heading to where the other Iramasha were, she had decided to come to Bathurst, determined to do some good in this war. As the city came in to view Aish pointed towards what looked like a fountain of some sort in the city. Fawkes dropped in altitude, plopping Aish down exactly where he had asked to be put down, next to the fountain. Smiling at the bird, Aish looked around, spotting a large building nearby. Reaching out her senses, she could tell that this building was empty, probably evacuated by the monsuta organization she was meant to fight. A chaos warp brought her next to it, bright blue flames suddenly surrounding her fist as she activated phoenix fist. Slamming her fist in to the building’s side, the flames on her fist exploded in blazing destruction, the building going up in flames suddenly. This should alert most of the enemy to her location, but that was what Aish wanted. Why go looking for her enemy when she could bring them to her?

»Entwurf, Skyzen« »Quincy[2-4+]« After being told about the catastrophic happenings that were taking place off in Australia by some allied Quincy he met years back Skyzen decided that it would be in his best interest to stay as far away as he could from that area. Therefore, he figured he'd go take a trip to Europe in order to keep his distance. Not only this, but it would be a great place to hone down on some different types of painting or different styles of art in general. He had been stuck with doing his Manga and the other random freelance jobs that he often did to survive. However he had been putting money away for a trip for quite some time now. He decided he'd pack up his things and just take the next flight to Spain in the morning. High amounts of wind and turbulence, as well as the crackling sound of fire, could be heard as people screamed in fear of the plane coming to a sudden crash. A small ding came from the overhead speaker, "This is your captain speaking, it seems as though we were hit by something and are trying in our best efforts to land to the nearest land possible. As of right now we are South of Indonesia where we were planning to link up to another aircraft to refuel. We will continue heading south and prepare for a crash landing outside of Australia where the Australian Coast Guard will meet with us for our rescue. Please fasten your seat belts and brace for impact when we say so." A loud clacking sound from the captain putting the microphone away came through the speaker as he stopped talking. Skyzen sat in his seat, flabbergasted by what had just happened. As if fate had just made his decision for him. All that money he had saved would be going out of the window and to him fighting in Australia, what joy. "Nope, this isn't happening." Skyzen told himself as he unbuckled his seat belt the lady next to him gasping in shock. "I'll be alright, I just need to relieve myself. Though it's not the best time for this, it's better I do it there rather than here. Agreed?" A grin came across his face as he bold-face lied to the lady, who nodded and giggled at him. "Great, a smile, that's probably the best thing you can do as of right now." He nodded back at her and continued out of his row and went down the aisle where a flight attendant tried to tell him to return to his seat. He pulled a ginto tube from his belt and went to hug her, as he did so he grasped her tight and used the ginto tube to push reishi through her back and into her heart. She gasped and then collapsed in his arms, he looked around and then patted her back telling her it would be alright to make things look less conspicuous. He continued to hug her as he slowly dragged her back to her seat where he sat her up and buckled her back in. He entered the restroom where he prepared to himself to hijack this plane and land these people far away from Australia. The plane began to rumble rapidly as the nose of the plane began to fall toward the Earth. "Shit!" Skyzen shouted as others in the plane began to scream. The limp body of the flight attendant being slung around in her seat Skyzen kicked the door open as he stood on the wall of the bathroom. He flung his body out of the door and onto the wall outside of the captain's pit. He opened the curtain and looked in to see both pilots laying face down on their controls, the nose dive must have knocked them unconscious. Skyzen shook his head in disappointment. As he looked through the glass in front of them he could see the ground of New South Wales coming closer and closer. He was surprised they had made it so far in Australia in such a small amount of time. A loud metallic screech was heard that sent even more people into fear as the plane's wings ripped from the sides taking some of the exterior of the plane with it. The plane made a ninety degree spin putting it on the side that didn't have a hole. Quickly Skyzen began to run for the hole on the side of the plane in order to make an escape before this thing became a part of Australia's landscape. He bounced from chair-side to chair-side until he was underneath the hole. He jumped grabbing the side of the plane, but was immediately whipped out of the plane. He began to flail in the sky until he gained control of his fall and then stopped it by stepping in the opposite direction. Skyzen sighed then looked down at the plane that had crashed about three-hundred feet below him. "Well I tried." Skyzen told himself as he watched the people fly out upon impact, their bodies ignited along with the ground around them. This was sure to make news, if there were any people even left on the continent. Skyzen began to slowly fall to the ground, as he did he noticed a sign that said "Bathurst", which made Skyzen sign again. "Fuck me, I try to get as far away from this place as possible and I end up in this fucking place." An explosion could be seen in the distance, soon after revealed a blanket of flames around the large building. He could sense a presence behind the building, Skyzen was ready to let out some anger. He began running that direction, as he did he grasped his cross laying on his chest and crushed it blue reishi scattered around his hand and then formed his bow, Uzi, to his hand. He aimed at the building and shot off a volley of reishi-based bullets toward the middle of the structure, cutting the building down to two pieces. The building slid off and slammed on the ground causing dust to consume the area. Now that they had gotten his attention he would give them his. »END POST« |

When Isao Shinato first hear about the war in the human world, particularly in Australia, it not only peaked his interest, but struck a nerve. While it was true that the young man hadn't been a Shinigami for very long, but it didn't detract from the fact that he felt very strongly about his role as a Shinigami, and what he could do to help people. Here, in the Seireitei, he wasn't helping anyone, and he wouldn't be able to until he became at the very least a ranked member of the thirteen court guard squads, that is, belonging to a squad. With the information he received, or rather, overheard, the battle had been going on for a short while, at the least.
If Isao disliked anything, it was standing by while others fought, being completely helpless while watching others from the sidelines. So, at the first chance he got, the young Shinigami slipped away, making his way to the city of Bathurst, Australia. From what he had heard, not a whole lot had been going on there yet, and the majority of the powerful foes were a good distance from that location. At the moment, it seemed to be rather accurate. Isao stood on a rooftop in the city, and for the most part, things seemed rather calm. Of course, that was obviously only what his eyes could see. After all, even someone who hadn't trained much in the art, could sense the enormous spiritual pressures of his allies and enemies alike.
At times, the pressure would get to him, and he would break out in a sweat. Then, through gritted teeth he would curse himself for not being able to handle it better. At one point, he even had to fight to keep himself up, actually dropping to a knee to get a grip of himself. But then, in a strange way, it gave him a sense of determination to improve himself. Here, in a place where he could potentially make some sort of difference, was the ideal place for that. Now, staring at the city from a high rooftop, Isao took in the sights, doing his best to ignore the varying degrees of spiritual pressure, he thought about what to do. He couldn't sense anyone close to him, friend or foe, nor could he see any viable means of helping at the present.
Suddenly, however, a sign presented itself. A building not too far from him exploded into flames. "What the..." Isao began, gritting his teeth as he jumped across a rooftop, making his way towards the bonfire that the building now was. "I wonder what could have caused that. Is a battle already happening? I need to help! Whatever it is..."

Ten minutes, that's all it would take.. And nothing would happen until I get there...That was the thought that had originally gone through Volund's mind as he made way down the steps of his private jet. Of course the teen would happen to be completely wrong. During that period of time a multitude of things had happened, from large scale fights getting more intense, to things heating up in Bathurst as he approached the Australian city. Each step he took, each beat of his heart.. Every moment the anticipation that Volund felt continued to grow, even as he continued to feel the heightening pressure that likely coated all of Australia by now. The male knew that by this point the superpowers located across the country had picked up the fight.. It was the only explanation for why he could feel the spiritual energy weighing down on him despite none of the superpowers being located within Bathurst.
While the war only grew intenser across the country it had yet to truly begin in Bathurst, forces from either side had yet to move into the city despite the evacuation having started long ago. And so it was as he entered city limits that the blonde male picked up on something he hadn't noticed before. Something or someone was approaching the city, and quite quickly... Rather multiple objects seemed to be approaching the city and from different directions. Thankfully for the male it seemed that none would end up directly near him, though they would end up within the city.
It was only as the objects, or beings approached that Volund finally got a sense, and sight on what they truly were. In one direction Volund could sense some sort of unfamiliar spiritual power, which he was able to pinpoint to what seemed to be a phoenix and a girl with it. From another direction, the male was able to make out an approaching aircraft which seemed to be in quite critical condition. It wasn't long until the aircraft crashed outside the city, a large ball of fire leaping into the sky as it impacted the ground.
From that moment on Volund could sense two distinct spiritual signatures, one distinctly human but different, and the other completely foreign. Suddenly in the distance a building was engulfed by flames before it was seemingly cut in two. Right then the blonde knew he could find two potential foes off in that direction.. The thought of combat, of spilling blood, was enough too cause his own blood to feel as if boiling through his veins.. The anticipation and excitement was slowly beginning to take hold on the male.
Slowly at first Volund began to make way towards the downed building, his pace increasing every step before exploding into a full on sprint as spiritual energy channeled through his body. The result was the blonde quickly reaching a running speed that could keep up with residential driving speeds. During his sprint the blonde made sure to keep aware, which led to picking up on the weaker spiritual signature also heading in the same direction.
Within moments the blonde male could be found on the roof of a nearby building, having scaled it with ease. From there Volund took in everything before him including the redheaded girl, and the white haired male. As he did so his mind was busy trying to figure out just what they were.. He knew the male was human, and figured he had to be a Quincy due to the ambient reishi in the area. The female though he still couldn't figure out.. The signature she gave off was completely new too the blonde.
As Volund watched on his eyes seemed as if they were becoming clearer.. Though what they began to reveal would be quite startling too some. Insanity shone through strongly within Volund's eyes as he took in the scene before him. The potential for bloodshed in this situation was beginning to stir the deep seated insanity within him. It wasn't long before a gentle cackle began to slip from Volund's lips, the volume low enough that he likely wouldn't be heard from below.
While the soft cackle continued the blondes gaze dropped to the ground at his feet, catching sight of the steel roofing of the building he was standing atop. At that very moment the gleam in Volund's eyes became stronger as he knelt down, palm resting against the steel. Volund knew he could have simply used his own spiritual energy for what he was about to do, but using materials at hand was much less taxing. Thus, smirk making way across his face, Volund began to do what he did best. Create. A soft golden glow briefly lit up the young teens face as he drew his palm back towards himself, the steel of the roofing following. As the steel flowed it began to shape itself, forming a large spear, the head of which was made even more dangerous as golden reiatsu formed around it. The total length of the spear as it finished forming equaled Volund's height of 5'10", granting him quite the reach.
Spear created Volund was almost ready, now it was his turn to draw some attention. And so very carefully Volund allowed his reiatsu to reach out, wrapping around two moderately sized pieces of rubble. Upon doing so it only took a vicious swing of Volund's empty hand to send the rubble hurtling towards both Aish and Skyzen. As the two pieces traveled Volund sprung into action himself, leaping from the building he gracefully flipped through the air, landing with practiced ease before immediately making way towards the white haired Quincy. These two wanted attention, and attention they would get. With the distance closed enough to strike Volund brought the spear through an arcing slash, flaring a minute amount of reiatsu through it too increase the sharpness of its blade. With this slash Volund simply meant to test the Quincy, whom if not attentive enough or quick enough, would suffer an arcing slash across the back.
From there the blonde would slam the end of the spear into the ground, vaulting himself over the Quincy and towards the redhead. The moment he began reached the peak of the vault Volund immediately put his Weapon Transmutation to use, altering the spear he had already created. Once again a soft golden glow would cover the weapon before dying down, this time revealing a large battle axe. Utilizing the momentum of his vault, and the added weight from the axe Volund would bring said axe arcing from behind him, intent on cleaving the redhead from shoulder to hip.
With the combination of the distraction he provided himself, his natural speed, and weapon skill, both foes would be hard pressed to defend. Immediately after each attempt on the individual foes Volund would seem to vanish in a brief blonde blur as he distanced himself from the two. Keeping his attention upon both foes at this point Volund merely awaited the third too arrive, meanwhile he had set the head of his axe upon the ground using it as support while he leaned against it. Cocking his head to the side while gazing upon the two Volund chose to utter a few select words, the reply he would receive may just decide whom he fought, and whom he left alone.
"So here's whats gunna happen! You two right here are gunna tell me just what the hell yah think your doing, and depending on how convinced I am by your answers yah may not get your asses handed ta yah. Yah get me?!"
During the entire period Volund spoke his head never moved from its tilted position, which effectively caused that ghostly grin to appear even eerier than before. The tilt also served to hid the blondes eyes beneath his hair, which unknown to him, would prevent either foe from spotting the insanity in his eyes during those moments.

Aish sighed, moving away from the building as the spray of reishi based bullets shot through it. When the being who had caused this came in to view Aish blinked in surprise. She hadn’t been expecting a human to come, she had been hoping for monsuta troops. However, any troops in the city would come soon enough. She also detected two more individuals, one closer than the other, the further one definitely the weaker of the two. Aish spotted the blue haired male as he came down, attempting to slash at the gun wielding human with a strange spear. Immediately the red head raised her fists, both suddenly being surrounded by the blue flames of her phoenix fist technique. She watched closely as the man vaulted towards her, eyes widening slightly as the spear turned in to an axe, but her surprise ended quickly. Waiting until the last second, Aish would chaos warp just slightly behind the blonde, turning around so that she faced his back. With that her left fist slammed forward towards his back, attempting to hit him right in the center of his back. If her fist connected, the blue flames would explode, doubling the force of her punch and possibly setting the young man aflame.
With this finished, whether she successfully landed her blow or not, she would land softly on the ground, her eyes turning to look at the man’s new location. Had the white haired human been injured by the blonde’s attack, a mental command would send Fawkes to him, a few tears dripping from the bird’s eyes on to the wound, the healing powers of the phoenix’s tears attempting to heal the wound. Either way the bird would then rejoin Aish, siting on his shoulder as it too looked up at the blonde. When the red head heard the man’s words, a grin spread across her face though, one fist still alight with blue flames.
“Seriously? You think you can defeat me? Who the fucking hell do you think you are, Alucard? You’re just some shithead who thinks they can do whatever the hell they want. Also, I’d rather go to hell then tell you what I’m fucking doing her! You have no business knowing, so get your ass out of my business!”

»Entwurf, Skyzen« »Quincy[2-4+]« ((OOC: Ok, I'm not exactly saying you can't do what you just did there, Tina. However, for the sake of a smooth and easy to read role play can we not counter attack when Horus stated: "Immediately after each attempt on the individual foes Volund would seem to vanish in a brief blonde blur as he distanced himself from the two." Although they were attempts, they were indirectly meant to be dodged or blocked. Is this meta? No, not to me at least, because it creates an easy to read and better role play. Now this is just my opinion, and I'm not saying you did anything wrong and I'm not upset or have an attitude or anything, just giving helpful advice. Dodging or blocking something that was unexpected even though you wrote, "Aish spotted the blue(you mean blonde? ;]) haired male as he came down, attempting to slash at the gun wielding human with a strange spear." Would still be considered a feat in my opinion, seeing as I don't believe is very possible to get around a large building that quickly without stating how. Skyzen shot the building to two pieces, one would more practically think that it was shot in half if it were in two. So you couldn't exactly see over the building. However, seeing as Volund is able to scale buildings as stated earlier in his post he would be able to spring over half of a building with ease as he explained it to be. Not to mention the fact you probably can't see shit due to a building being set on fire and it crashing to the ground... Though this mainly my fault because I should have stated where exactly I shot the building and where the remnants of the building were falling toward. Anyway, what I'm saying is for a smoother roleplay with little to no issues or arguments(I'M NOT ARGUING! OR I'M NOT TRYING TO!) to just play along to an extent. Not saying let your character get hit or die, just saying create an overall better roleplay through realism and teamwork. Also, adding details of how you do certain things help a lot considering I have no idea how you just appeared around a building so fast, saying quickly doesn't really describe anything. As quickly can be interpreted many different ways. lol. Also, can we pick up the word count and amount of detail in our posts so that we all have equal material to reply with, please? At least 800-1k words? It's not like Horus and I finish our posts in a matter of ten minutes, so I don't think anyone else should either. Again, not mad or upset, just want to enjoy writing and reading as you should too. Shall we continue? Let's. :])) A loud crashed announced Skyzen's presence in the area, the building slammed down to the ground ejecting a large gust of wind in all directions producing a thick dirt smog in the area. He stood not too far from the building as it came to a halt with the ground, as gravity continued to do it's job pulling lose debris that came loose from the impact and flames. As the wind of the crash hit Skyzen he grasped his head, making sure his beanie didn't come lose as his clothes, and hair fluttered in the wind. His arm that carried his Uzi swayed along as well. He took a step back and examined the damage and got a little tickled. He remembered watching this show one time from way back in the day called "Family Matters" it was an American show that he had found on the internet whilst on an escapade to cure his boredom. He remembered the nerdy boy that was the main character of the show saying "Did I do that?" after he would make a mistake. He stopped his laughter and brought his mind back to the scene spending only a split second in thought. He looked around to see nothing, but began to feel spiritual pressure all over the area. In addition to the reiatsu that set the building ablaze, he could feel a spiritual pressure that was somewhat similar in strength, but not quite. Looks like things are starting to get exciting. I could use the release after my efforts to stay away from this place were foiled. He told himself within his own state of mind. Soon after the building crashed and the dirt and smoke cluttered air cleared to a low-visibility rate of sight he glanced off to the side where he noticed the fire-starter's reiatsu had shifted to a line of fire. He was able to see a silhouette of what seemed to be a girl, or at least from his experience was a girl. He didn't engage her with full eye-contact to make it seem as though he didn't notice her, he wasn't sure if her visibility of him was better than his was or not so he continued to examine the extremities of the damage and defined it as something that was worth recording after the rest of this area was turned to a ruin. If only he hadn't lost his extremely expensive camera in that damn plane crash. He didn't even think twice of grabbing his carry on which carried all of his freelance work that he had been working on for several sites, his phone, and his camera along with materials he would need to stay clean on his trip. However, he didn't think he would be taking the time to shower after this battle was done and over with. Thinking about all of these things tensed him up some more, the stress was getting to him. Not to mention, he was already stressed hence the reason he wanted to take the trip in the first place. His veins began to pulsate from his arms and forehead he clinched Uzi hard enough to make his hand bleed as his fingers dug into his skin in his other hand. The feeling was numb to him as his feelings consumed his mental train of thought. These signs weren't like Skyzen, but did come in ever so often. The last time he had this sort of numbness and lack of logical thinking was when his parents were killed by his own blood. He used all of power to lash back at his brother, who was considerably stronger than him, to defeat him. Though it was a rare feat that he would probably never accomplish again, it was one that had significantly improved his strength and overall resolve. Yet another spiritual pressure had approached in his radar, though it was minuet compared to the ones that surrounded him as well as his own. He was unsure as to why someone of that strength would even think about entering this area. The thick reiatsu that covered the whole continent had even Skyzen a little weary when he moved. There were definitely people of God-like strengths included in this war, and that was something he would stick to avoiding. Hopefully it wouldn't turn out like his earlier hopes. Upon noticing the new spiritual energy he could feel the distant one closing in on the two. It wasn't long before the wielder of this spiritual energy was within a radius of attack for Skyzen, however he would savor his energy until he was able to analyze his opponents. At least that much made sense to him in his ill-state of mind. The smoke cluttered his vision and the heat caused Skyzen to sweat slightly, his face began to become covered in little mud droplets from the mix of dust and salt water. He used his arm to wipe around his eyes, but his arms had the same problem and only caused the dirt to smear irritating him even more. A large piece of rubble began to hurtle its way toward Skyzen, in reaction he moved his right leg behind his leg swiftly, turning his body with it as the rubble grazed his chest enough to make a rippled tear on his shirt. He sighed in relief that he was able to dodge the attack even with the low visibility, thankfully all of his training in capoeria had finally paid off. With his bow, technically a gun, in his hand he began to sway back and forth in the normal contemporary stance of a capoeria artist. His legs shifted one behind the other with a light skip to it and a random foward and back movement as if he were two stepping. His arms followed with the flow of his feet to make a fluent, and nearly majestic bodily movement. He could feel the spiritual pressure closing in on him more and with a great velocity, this happening directly after the launch of the projectile and his entrance to his artful stance. His back was turned to the enemy and he was well aware of this, letting his enemy swing first as he usually did. The attack began to unfold as a slight smirk rose upon Skyzen's face, his head turned slightly to the right to catch a glimpse of his new opponent as the man began to unleash his fury on Skyzen's back. Still moving in a fluent motion Skyzen simply took a seat on his left foot's Achilles tendon leaving his right foot sticking out where it once was. The blade of the spear came hurling down and smashed into the ground in front of his foot. Skyzen locked his sight on the man as he began to pole-vault out of sight and toward the other spiritual pressure. Who was this guy, and who's side was he on anyway? Was this some sort of free-for-all or something? Upon the attack the man took the dust and smoke with him with his speed and power. Revealing the one that had set the building on fire earlier. He kept in the back of his mind the other spiritual pressure that was distant, yet closer than all the others he could feel. He might of been weak, but that didn't mean an assassination wasn't possible. He continued to watch as he saw the woman, as he correctly assumed to be, step out and then reappear behind the man to perform a counterattack. Skyzen raised a brow, and became interested at how nearly even this battle would be. They all were at near the same level of power and ability. He would await the man's response to the attack. After the attack the man vanished in a golden blur and reappeared in the distance. Luckily he had cleared the area of smoke with his large attacks against the two. The man was curious as to what the two were doing, Skyzen glanced at the chick then looked back at the blonde-headed guy that seemed to be heated. He was probably in the same situation as Skyzen, or maybe not. Everyone always seemed to have their own reasons. Skyzen clinched his fists in irritation of the useless question, but figured he would owe an explanation to someone eventually for cutting a building in half for no reason. Even if it was a war-ground. Skyzen snapped his eyes to the man and responded, "I don't even want to be here, this wasn't my choice! I was supposed to be going on a vacation to Europe, how the fuck did I end up here!? You tell me! Now if you want to hand my ass to me, that's more than welcome, because I'm in need a release!" It seemed as though the two had answered at damn near the same time, which would probably cause a confusion in the cluster-fuck that was this conversation. He noticed the crazed grin that was drawn across the mans face and knew that the two were on the same level of insane at the moment. Skyzen performed a little skip to hop out of his stance and began to sprint toward the golden haired man. He took it upon himself to go ahead and attack the female from a far distance as well, but he would wait until he was closer to the blonde. He began to use his stepping technique that got him close enough to the blonde to perform an effective attack to him, but far enough from the female to just divert her from coming toward this path and fooling around with Skyzen's new found prey. He squeezed the trigger of his bow as he stepped behind the blonde in attempt to grasp his outer-clothing and pull, closing the gap between Uzi and the man. He aimed for directly in the middle of his lower back where he would attempt to cause a decent amount of damage, but nothing too serious. Just one shot would do it for him. He wanted to continue fighting so he could just kill his enemy in one attack. In the chance of a counter to his attack in some way he would break his grasp, if attached, and flee the area using hirenkyaku. He would then proceed to entering his capoeria stance once more and performing a series of flips in combination with blasts from his bow directed toward both of his opponents, launching a volley of about one-hundred bullets to both of their directions, the main proportion of them headed toward the female. Once his attack came to a conclusion he performed a front aerial and whipped his body around to land and slide on the ground causing a small brew of dust to expel from the path of his feet. He straightened his body momentarily and licked his lips and sprang right back into his fighting stance, where he would await for his opponents and the little guy that was hanging out to continue on with their attacks toward himself and each other. »END POST« |

(OOC: I'm sorry, I'm still pretty new to all this, so, shelling out decent posts will take some work. Also, since my character really doesn't stand much a fighting chance here, I won't be doing much fighting. That isn't to say he won't try, though. I hope this is okay.)
Isao moved quickly from building to building, wishing he hadn't been so far away from the one that spontaneously burst into flames. What was going on anyway? Worse than not knowing what was happening was being able to sense the cause. The spiritual pressures that were nearby had grown considerably, and he could tell that all three of the beings near the location were significantly stronger than he was. "Damn...how am I supposed to be able to do anything here?" The teenage Shinigami asked himself. It was at that moment that he saw the burning building split into two sections, being effectively cut in half by what sounded like a barrage of bullets. A gun? How the hell could a gun do something like that? Stopping about two buildings away, Isao stood on the edge of a building that was now twice as tall as the one he saw split. Between the flames and all the dust he could barely see anything. However, he could clearly sense the different spiritual pressures and their clashes. Two of them felt human, or, at the least, human-like. The other though, felt strange, and in a strange way, dark. It was unlike anything he had ever felt before, and it sent a chill down his spine.
Slowly but certainly, the battle between the threw powers picked up, and with a mixture of speed and power, the smoke was cleared away, revealing a now debris filled battlefield, and the three fighters themselves. Isao was very glad that he was up on this building, hopefully his spiritual pressure was minor enough that they wouldn't even bother with him. Isao knew he wouldn't be of any use in a fight like this. Through gritted teeth, the young man muttered to himself. "This is insane. Why are these people fighting each other?" Isao asked himself, his left hand gripping the hilt of his Zanpakutō tightly. No matter what, he had to do what he could to help, even if it meant putting his life at risk. It was his duty as a Shinigami, after all. While thinking to himself about what to do, the battle picked up again as one of the men took a strange stance, one that looked more like dancing than a fighting stance. He then proceeded to propel himself through the air with various flips and twists, firing his gun at his opponents. It reminded him of a fighting method used by the quincy. Maybe that was the deal with his gun, that it seemed to fire reitsu and not bullets. That resolved one question at least.
Isao leaped down from the rooftop, hoping they were too busy to notice him, and that their powers were too above his own to even warrant notice. Upon landing, he was now within showing distance. Isao was easily no more than about 50 meters out from them. Slowly, Isao drew his Zanpakutō, readying himself for whatever may come. Isao wanted to interrupt them, to shout to them to stop, but the words caught in his throat. Now that he was closer to them, their spiritual pressures were overwhelming him. (Just great, Isao. Your letting them scare you without even targeting you! Get a grip on yourself!) The young Shinigami scolded himself mentally. This fear he was displaying wasn't necessary, he was trained to defend himself, and that meant he could keep himself alive, even if he couldn't defeat any of them. "H-hey! You three! Stop what you are doing now! By order of the Soul Society!" The teen called out to them, putting on as brave a face as he could manage. The irony wasn't lost on him. He was here without the soul society even knowing it, yet he was demanding that they stop simply because he was a Shinigami.
No matter what, he would do his duty and try to protect the innocent souls of this world. With the destruction that was occurring, he was positive that there were some around here, but, at the moment, it would be foolish to try and help them while this battle was raging. His goal at the moment was just to get these three to stop fighting. Then, he would be free to search for any spirits that needed to be sent to the soul society. Worse still was the fact that all of this spiritual pressure could easily attract hollows, which just gave him something else to worry about. Why did he have to try and meddle in things he shouldn't have? He knew better than to come to a warzone expecting to encounter people at his level. (Ever the fool, right, Isao?) The teen Shinigami again scolded himself.

While travelling behind the debris he had sent at his foes Volund made sure to pay attention for each ones reactions. Unfortunately much to his irritation his aim was slightly off causing the debris aimed for the redhead to sail careening into a nearby building. Though the same could not be said for the second piece, which was directly on target. Seeing this Volund allowed his attention to fully shift towards the Quincy, watching as the white haired male barely evaded the piece in time, despite the lack of vision. Seeing his foe's quick reaction time under such circumstances served to spur the blonde on as he launched his assault on Skyzen. What was unexpected was the male breaking out into a swaying movement before moving about with a light skip, his movements carrying him back and forth randomly. Although unfamiliar with the art as a whole there was a feeling of recognition as he saw the movements. Capoeria was something he hardly recalled, it being something that hadn't quite caught his attention like weaponry did, but Volund did manage to vividly recognize the basic stance Skyzen took. Despite this vivid recognition of the style, Volund was not prepared for Skyzen to evade his strike so easily. The spears blade landing before Skyzen's foot as he evaded, before Volund continued through into a pole-vault towards the redhead.
As the blonde vaulted through the air, spear becoming an axe as he aimed a powerful cleaving strike for the redheaded female. At the last second a spike of energy was felt by Volund as his target seemed to vanish, though not fast enough for him to lose track of her signature as she appeared behind him, her fists bathed in blue flames. Fortunately for Volund his reaction time was just as fast, if not faster than his foes. In the moment it took for him to land, and the girl to vanish, he had already moved to distance himself from both foes though he did briefly feel the heat of the redheads flames as she appeared where he had been standing.
Before even speaking Volund knew he had to be weary of his foes, the redhead and that odd movement technique of hers, and the Quincy and whatever his fighting style may truly be. Leaning upon his axe the blonde questioned the two, and why they were present here. Following his question Volund could only shake his head as the two answered him at nearly the same time, causing their answers to overlap slightly. From what he did make out the blonde had less of a reason to fight the Quincy, whom was present in the war merely by chance. On the other hand the redhead, he would have no issues with handing her a beating. 'Arrogant little shit she is with that attitude.. Definitely won't have a problem spilling this bitches blood.' The blond thought to himself as he listened to what he could of the redheads response. Honestly who did she think she was coming in here, blowing up buildings, and then telling him to stay out of her business.. Hell no.. She made it his the moment she stepped foot in this city and started blowing shit up.
During this thought process Volund's face would only portray moderate interest, his eyes on the other hand portrayed oh so much more. They held a twisted gleam of excitement in them, the thoughts of spilling Aish's blood causing the insanity and blood-lust within to stir and awaken. Volund knew he should calm himself, less his sadistic tendencies take over... But knowing and doing are two vastly different things, and Volund really did want to hand this redhead her ass on a silver platter, whether or not the Quincy joined her there.. He didn't really care one way or the other.
As the three stood there, dust clearing from the area, Volund knew this would break out into sizable fight.. And for now he hoped there were no possible bystanders to be caught in it. A few moments passed before Skyzen began sprinting in Volund's direction, who reacted simply by gripping the handle of his axe while watching the Quincy approach as he increased his speed with his own movement technique. Locking eyes with his foe briefly Volund recognized the look in Skyzen's immediately, the Quincy seemed to have pegged him as prey.. That was something that would need changing, he was no ones prey.
Volund could feel the buildup of the reishi being gathered by the gun-bow possessed by Skyzen as said male stepped behind him in an effort to close the gap for his attack. As it were Skyzen would only be half successful in his efforts as Volund, spun to meet him, axe in hand. While the white haired male managed to grasp a handful of Volund's clothing, the blonde had worked his axe between himself and the Quincy. Feeling a brief amount of surprise as Skyzen took to using hirenkyaku to widen the distance between the two. During this moment Volund released his axe, allowing it to clatter to the ground as his right hand reached for the odd looking band around his wrist. Grasping the snake like portion of the band Volund twisted it, causing a click to resound briefly as the band begun to uncoil. In a single fine movement the band completely uncoiled revealing Volund's weapon of choice, his retractable sword.
The moment the blond chose to brandish his blade there seemed to be a change in him. A predatory grin spread across Volund's face, accompanied by a change in the aura radiating from the male. No longer was he testing his foes, no longer was he going to hold himself back.. Just maybe this once he'd give into to his sadistic side. Taking a step forward Volund's eyes never left Skyzen whom had now begun to pull off various flips and maneuvers while firing off a large salvo of shots from his gun-bow. Another step forward and Volund simply watched the salvo approach. Another and a dark-gold aura began to appear around him. A fourth step forward and the ground around the male began to crack, small particles lifting from the ground as his spiritual pressure began to weigh down on the area. A fifth step and the salvo was nearly upon him, though this did not prevent Volund from speaking his next words; "Your eyes tell me you think I'm the prey.. Seems I'll have to fix that and show you what a real predator is like!" Each word carried across the battle field, spoken with enough intensity that not even the sounds of Skyzen's shots exploding in various locations could prevent the Quincy from hearing him.
A final step and Volund's spiritual pressure was upon the entire battle field and bearing down upon his foes. The ground beneath the males feet continued to crack as a small crater began forming, spiritual pressure bearing down further. This would result in two things. The first would be causing the first of many shots to reach him to explode out of harms-way, causing a chain explosion among the salvo launched his way. The second effect of Volund's spiritual pressure would cause both Skyzen and Aish to begin feeling as if extra weight was bearing down upon them, in addition to feeling the intense malicious aura given off by the blonde.
Smoke clouded his vision as the salvo launched at him began to erupt into a mass of explosions, the odd shot making it through the smoke causing the male to avoid them when needed. If this was anything to go by fighting the Quincy would indeed be interesting, though perhaps more difficult than originally expected. Sounds of explosions continued to rock the city of Bathurst as Skyzen's salvo finished detonating, a few lingering shots bursting through the smoke. Grin plastered upon his face Volund watched the reishi bullets approach before shifting himself every so slightly causing most of the remainders to sail on by, exploding harmlessly beyond himself. Dust clearing from said explosions would reveal Volund, shirt smoking and his upper torso sporting evidence of impact from one of the reishi bullets. Snickering too himself Volund knew things would be fun indeed.. He just would need to get the Quincy to fight more seriously, and see just what the redhead was capable of.
Suddenly snickering turned into full on roaring laughter as Volund felt the smaller signature finally approach. Hearing a voice call out Volund turned to it, spotting a Shinigami. As the Shinigami's words registered Volund's laughter halted completely, eyes focused solely on the Shinigami for the moment.
" Stop you say? And why might I ask should we do such a thing? You do realize this place.. No.. This whole bloody country is a war-zone right? "
Waving an empty arm out before him Volund continued to speak, " You can feel it right? All those powers on this continent that dwarf ours?"
Turning his attention back towards Skyzen and Aish the blonde finished speaking, " Are you prepared for the insanity that is war? The insanity you may very well see here?" The blonde questioned the Shinigami, not entirely caring for his answers.
" Now I believe there's been enough talking.. Lets get down ta business shall we?" The moment the last word left his lips Volund ripped his empty arm through the air in Aish's direction, the axe he previously wielded reacting to the pull of his TK as it sped spinning through the air aimed to cut through the redheads waist. Following this he then held his empty hand out slightly, palm up as a golden glow began to gather in it. Not even a moment later the glow would die down to reveal an identical copy of his retractable blade, the difference being that his one was made of his reiatsu and forged with his Weapon Creation. Eyes narrowing slightly Volund slipped into a loose defensive stance of sorts, one blade held across his body, the other at his side. The male was ready, waiting, and watching his foes. If any openings appeared in their reactions he would be sure to make use of them.
