What had begun as a simple excursion to Australia in order to partake in the war had evolved from being such. The path that Horus had taken has been one that has tested the male in various ways, some of which he is completely unaware of. Between the choices of continue life as he was, or risking the unknown to walk a new path, a path of hope, the male had chosen the latter. This had then led to the current confrontation in Canberra, as well as a test of his mental fortitude and strength. While things had seemed to be going in the Vizard's favor soon they would begin to stack against him, each time probing at his mental fortitude, testing him, pushing him further and further. That is until Arashi, the inner hollow, decided to intervene and input his own desires into things. Thus as the battle for Canberra continued on the inner hollow constantly prodded at his hosts emotions, slowly building a raging inferno of anger within the crimson haired man. Then finally the moment was right and the inner hollow pushed just hard enough resulting in the Vizard snapping and losing himself to the rage within him, all the while Arashi sat in satisfaction within the inner world of the male. For the inner hollow it seemed as if things would keep going well, some more poking and prodding and just maybe he'd get the chance to consume Horus's soul and take over.
Yet just as Horus had unleashed his unrestrained fury upon Elisha in the form of his Vajra things would once again change. Veras, through a telepathic link, spoke to him, calming the fury that continued to rampage within him for a brief moment of time. In this moment rationality returned to Horus, allowing him to once again enter a battle of wills with his inner hollow. Now the only question for the male was whether or not he could keep himself in check, whilst combating his foes, and his own demons. As his mind held the moment of clarity Horus gazed intently at his technique as it closed in upon his target, the energies within it screeching through the sky before finally meeting something just before impact with Elisha. In the moments that the technique had traversed the distance between himself and his target several things had occurred that would lead to the disruption, and destruction of his attack. Weapons would clash as Eira brought herself between Elisha and Veras before pushing herself and Elisha away as the technique grew closer. Wind clashed with large amounts of reiatsu and electrical energies for a few brief moments before the Vajra began to divert, yet before the blast could continue on the electricity within it was brought under the control of another, essentially causing the technique to attack itself before erupting into a brilliant explosion of violent energy. And so Horus's technique met its end before even meeting the target, such a thing caused the blood in the Vizard's veins to stir in fury once again as the male fought to keep control over himself whilst his inner hollow continued its attempts to trample over the mental defenses of its host.
As his technique was dealt with it quickly became apparent to Horus that this battle needed to end. Even as he fought against his own rage and inner hollow the male could tell that if the battle continued on much longer they may do much more damage to the city, causing more harm than good in the end. Aside from his worries about the city the male was also worried about himself, and his mentality. He knew he was struggling to hold off the influence of his inner hollow, as he could feel the unrestrained fury boiling in his veins.. It was just a matter of time before he would lose the struggle between he and Arashi, at which point the combined rage of the two would consume him once again. Even as Veras spoke of his rage doing such a thing the crimson haired male fought to hold it off, fought to keep in control, and fought to be of use rather than a hinderance in these last moments of battle. The male could feel the blondes gaze upon him as she spoke, her words of understanding him reaching him quicker than any other she may have spoken that day. How could she understand his position? The struggle that he endured? The rage and insanity always boiling beneath the surface? How could she understand him? These questions rang through the golden eyed males mind, said eyes showing his internal confusion as he gazed upon the battlefield, his eyes seeing all before him yet seeing nothing as his focus was stripped away by his allies words. The words that would follow would be words that would change the rest of the confrontation for the male. They would give him the strength and means to continue fighting, to continue resisting, and most of all to triumph over the rage that crawled beneath his skin in this very moment. And so as Veras relayed the information behind the URE sphere she had gifted him with in the previous city the male had already begun tapping into said devices power. Already, even as the URE link implanted itself within his being, Horus could feel the power that the URE sphere granted him flowing through his body as it strengthened him.
“Storm… front!”
Golden eyes gleamed with unbridled determination as the name of the assault was called out by the target of his earlier attack. Yet the apparent assault lacked just that, an assault.. Rather it seemed to be some sort of barrier constructed by vicious winds controlled by his foe. Though the barrier did give off its own powerful gales, causing Horus to utilize trace amounts of his reiatsu in order to create a barrier between himself and the winds through use of his Telekinetic Barrier technique. Over the torrent of wind clashing with his barrier Horus could barely make out the sounds of Elisha speaking before she decided to unleash her rage in yet another attack, this time focusing upon Horus himself in addition to Veras. The attack, which took the form of two powerful lightning bolts, split the sky as it roared towards its targets, all the while Horus's golden gaze watched with signs of amusement. Was this girl a fool? He would think as the bolts blazed through the air towards their mark. It was painfully obvious this foe knew next to nothing about those she entered into battle with, as if she did have any knowledge on Horus she would know that he had a resistance to electrically based abilities. Thus while she did not know it her technique would lose out on 20% of its effectiveness if it did manage to strike its target. Yet the passive ability would not be needed, for as Veras went about her own plans, which would result in a white glow spreading throughout their forces. Before the glow could overtake Horus he would focus large amounts of reiatsu into his body, strengthening his muscles before vanishing in an unnatural burst of speed, his path taking him away from the path of Elisha's attack before reappearing atop a building a couple hundred meters away. The Vizard knew that without the energy supplied by the URE Sphere he wouldn't have been able to move as fast as he had, and thus may have been struck by Elisha's attack. As it were the male now stood atop a small building, his masked gaze locked upon the Nature Iramasha before he simply raised a single finger, muttering a ruthless, "Cero". Black, white, and crimson energy converged upon a single point before being unleashed in a moderately powerful beam directed in Elisha's direction. No matter what it would impact with the resulting explosion would be quite sizable, doing moderate damage to his target if caught, as well as devastating the effected area.
With his cero launched Horus's gaze would remain upon Elisha whilst the white glow that resulted from Veras's actions finally overtook him. If plans went well then Horus, like Canberra, would be in an intangible state as The Kuro Sosu was used in ways that the crimson haired Vizard completely failed to understand. Though he did know one thing, if Veras's plan had worked out then any potential counter attack that would follow his cero would be useless. As Veras spoke her last words to Dayalu it became apparent to Horus that the battle was indeed over, and continuing it any longer would be pointless. Despite this the male knew that his own struggle had yet to end, and that even now he would be unable to let up on his mental struggle with Arashi. With the war ending Horus could only begin thinking about what his future may hold.
