The Madness of War Descends Upon Perth....[War For Australia] Empty The Madness of War Descends Upon Perth....[War For Australia]

Artist: Escape The Fate - Song: Prepare Your Weapon - Word Count: 763

It had only been twelve hours since it all began. But it only took a moment for the war to begin, such a moment occurred when The Beast of Karakura, Shadin Yuudeshi made his move against the Monsuta and Australia. As soon as the war began it didn't take long for word to travel, nor did it take long for one specific mind to be completely engrossed in the thought of all out war.

For Horus Sariel the news of a war breaking out in Australia was perfect. Not only would such a war cause immense carnage, but it had come with perfect timing. Horus had grown tired of his currently dull life, and this war was perfect for him to appear in the scene of things once again. And though Australia had been quite a vast distance away, Horus had made his way there at an incredible pace. For those on board of the various ships out at sea it must have been quite the sight... A crimson haired man gliding along the water at such speeds he created fifty foot waves on either side of his path.. But the thing that truly made the sight memorable, and horribly scarring for several was the absolutely horrifying and insane laughter coming from the man.. It was as if the man was absolutely giddy with excitement, and nothing could prevent him from getting where he was going...

Which unfortunately for several cruise liners, oil barges, and cargo ships, caused immense havoc and destruction. From an immense height above the sea one would be able to sea the numerous... no.. hundreds of sunk, wrecked, and destroyed ships dotting the path that Horus had taken.

Eventually the cackling madman spotted Australia in his sights and immediately picked up his pace, becoming impossible for most humans to see. As he neared the continent Horus began spotting the tell-tale signs of war.. Smoke from fires.. The sounds of explosions rocking the various cities... And the cries of death, combat, sorrow, and everything else in-between. All of it serving only to heighten Horus's excitement, blood-lust, and insanity... The man already planning to simply let himself run wild... Not even the faint, almost unheard whispers of either his Zanpakutō, nor Inner Hollow would cause him to falter in the slightest.

Not even a minute later Horus felt solid ground beneath his feet as he took his first step upon the continent. Just as quickly Horus' feet left the ground.. The spot he had left immediately exploding into a shower of dust, sand, and rock as he sped through the sky in search of the largest untouched city he could find.

Eventually Horus happened upon an untouched city, all the while ignoring the increasing signs of war around him. As he neared the city limits he spotted a sign stating its population... Reading it the insane Vizard burst into an immense roar of haunting laughter.

"PERFECT! This is bloody PERFECT! Ahahaha! Seven million! Seven million people just waiting... just waiting... waiting... to be.... hehehe... ahahahaha... THEIR JUST WAITING TO BE BUTCHERED!!"

As his words echoed along the wind said winds began to pick up rapidly.. The earth beneath Horus' feet began to rumble, before cracking as fissures began to open. All around Horus' being black and red reiatsu began to burst into existence... The sky above Perth began to darken rapidly before thunder and lightning began to split the sky... The lightnings coloring reminiscent of Horus' reiatsu. The madman's cackling continued once again, growing in intensity as his reiatsu did so. In moments an immense black and red pillar of reiatsu erupted around Horus, taking him out of view completely before it died down once again to reveal Horus.

Horus 'Shinku Nikuya' Sariel stood there as the power he unleash hummed about him. Upon his face sat a Hollow mask.. It's appearance almost as if a cross between goat and dragon. In the Vizard's hands appeared a pair of odd black trench knives that also serve as both guards, and brass knuckles. His Shikai having been summoned wordlessly. The two fifteen inch blades seemed to hum with power as Horus' Reiatsu Scalpel technique enveloped them. At the same time the Vizard pointed a single finger towards Perth, a murmur of "Cero" leaving his lips as several black/white/ and red colored cero's ripped several trenches towards the city before impacting several structures and exploding in a display of carnage.

Follow the launch of the cero's 'Shinku Nikuya' made his way towards Perth, his attack upon the city of 7.2 million just beginning. The fun had yet to even begin...

Artist: Black Rock Shooter The Game - Song: C Alien class - Word Count: 1241
There was a tense nature in the air, but why wouldn't it be in the act of war being declared? The country was in total chaos now. The shores were being invaded by enemy forces, the smell was ripe with vengeance and the revolution was being brought upon this country. And while the Monsuta was putting up a fight against their advisories, it was going to take something much more to make this an even playing field and secure the position in which they held for so long. Therefore, allies were going to be needed. Great friends from highplaces were coming, the call to help had been answered and in a flashes of bright white; the likes of the Jade Cross commander arrived upon the tallest point of the city as she looked around her at the scenes of war beginning to get underway. Soldiers from all factions spreading throughout the streets, gunfire erupting throughout the metropolis and all tons of clashes causing a resonating effect of multiple spiritual pressures being emitted within the city limits.

Taking a deep breath to inhale it all, a very staunch expression came over the commander's face. For through those crimson eyes that stood out like an utter blaze out of her face and past the golden locks of her hair, this was the chance to once again prove her worth to the likes of the Kokuryuteshi. Being that she had no other home at this point, there was some form of loose pride which made her feel content in massacring these targets, but there wasn't much time to indulge such notions. The calculating mind of Veras had to come into play as she scanned the vicinity for all approaching enemies and obstacles currently within the city. Releasing that only miniscule forces were within the depths of the city, she commanded her faction to hold them back until she could make the needed accommodations to make sure this city would be safe from enemy attack.

Pinpointing an aura that seemed above a large sum of civilians in the city and not associated with any sort of power she is familiar, one could deduce that this was indeed a rogue force. Compounding to the fact that there didn't seem to be a large following before this strange hollowfied being, this further supported her theory that this person was working alone. And being that she seemed to have the upper-hand on him in regards to her spiritual energy, she factored there was a large chance of having a victory within this city if she acted swiftly and correctly.

With most of the attention towards other major cities in Australia, she'd take full manipulation of that fact and summon in her Cross in full gear. Being that thousands of Kokuryuteshi Soldiers were entering into the city at full-speed, she commanded a roughly ten thousand of them who were proficient in crafting barriers to begin producing a dense barrier throughout the city. From there? The Kuro Sosu would be controlling it as a large boom could be heard bellowing throughout the city to announce it's arrival via a dimensional portal from the depths of The Kokuryuteshi's realm.

Given that it would take awhile before this Kuro Sosu would root itself in the city, Veras was going to need to make sure it was maintained. With that in mind, she'd then have a large collection of spiritual energy condense itself across a twenty mile radius; one being stronger than the outward one being developed outside of the underground sections of this city.

After settling those matters, she'd pay attention to radio-warnings that were taking place on communication devices attached to all K-World Personale under her control. According to their allies, the release of a shipment of Knight Slaves from the likes of Shadow Fall were entering into the War. Taking care of the teleporation coordinates herself, Veras seemed to have two dozen of these machines transport themselves into the depths of the city; as they went on obliterating enemy forces from the likes of The Yayjuu and Vizard Corps that didn't seem to pose much of a challenge to these newly developed creatures.

Furthermore, getting a plan in order, she coordinated Monsuta and Kokuryuteshi soldiers who were of Vice Captain strength to enter into these machines and sync with them to give them a boost in power and strength. Two of the stronger Knight Slaves were sent to the depths of the underground, while two other stronger versions were focused on speeding up the process of the barriers formation around the city.

Now with these areas taken care of, there would be a HEAVY increase in military, Monusta, Kokuryuteshi and Shadow Fall presence within the skies, the city limits, the underground and throughout many roof-tops in the city as they were attempting to secure the city from enemy forces. Which left only one thing left to do in Veras's mind: tend to the rogue attacking the buildings. She wasn't quite sure what was transpiring on the battlefield with this male; as the mind of this individual seemed blank to her. However, she was certainly going to take care of it with her own two hands as she could get the job done as efficiently.

With a hop, skip and jump; Veras used the infamous Chaos Warp technique of the Iramasha in order to appear directly in front of Horus. Not wasting a single moment, she'd attempt to deliver a swift kick directly to his face with enough momentum and force behind it to obliterate three city blocks with ease; but all of it's impact was going to be focused on every square inch of the male's being. From his skull, to his brain, to his heart, to his neck, to his arms, to the blood vessels within him; every blow that had a chance of connecting increased the possibility of her shattering his bones, ruptured organs and bringing him own with her accumulated hand-to-hand ability. From there, she'd quickly retract her foot to hopefully avoid any sort of attack, and then direct a hard punch to his gut, then to his face and repeat five extra blows before going in for a uppercut and slamming her foot down in the form of a dropkick to hopefully send him flying backwards with enough guided striking power to leave a mark on him at the very least.

Moving the hair from her face, she'd take a soft sigh and appear within a flash to a ten foot distance vicinity that was away from Horus no matter where he would re-appear or do. This was so that she could establish a form of communication. "I'm not sure who you are, I'm not sure what you think you are doing; but I'm assured i n my capacities. And my capacities tell me you: you aren't going to be destroying another piece of matter in this city. I'll let my actions speak for themselves, give you a warning and a chance to walk away from this. If you continue to proceed in combat, I'll put you down swiftly." Having no sort of aggression, arrogant nature or any other non-sense in the way she spoke; it was clear that she had meant every last word that she said to the fullest extent of her faith. This wasn't the time for games, this wasn't the place for children and she wasn't the one to be tested.

Artist: Thousand Foot Krutch - Song: Courtesy Call - Word Count: 1174

Cries of despair... Pain... Agony... The resounding calls of soldiers commanding others... The explosions resounding throughout the city... The tense atmosphere... The sheer chaos... It was marvelous.. Absolutely and utterly marvelous.. And Horus was engrossed in every moment of it. As the ruthless Vizard made way through Perth anything in his path was swiftly cut down without a hint of mercy, all the while a haunting, and excited laughter escaping Horus' lips. Unfortunately it wasn't all that long until 'Shinku Nikuya' felt the arrival of a power surpassing his own, and with it, the arrival of an unknown amount of soldiers.

Before the unknown being had arrived Horus was easily the most powerful source of spiritual pressure within the city.. The numerous clashes of lower levels going completely unnoticed by him for the most part... But when this being arrived even his own spiritual pressure was swept beneath the tides of this new arrival. Yet this served only to excite the Vizard further, whom was now essentially bouncing on the balls of his feet.

Then he felt it... A distortion in the air itself around the city.. Coming to a halt Horus watched as whatever was going on simply happened. As some sort of barrier began to form around the city a loud resonating boom swept throughout the city, the result of the barrier arriving from another dimension, though this was unknown to Horus. At this point the Vizard was oozing excitement, and his reiatsu was beginning to reflect it, currently whirling about him rapidly. Horus could feel the increase in military within the city, and it was immediately obvious of just how much fun Horus could have with this city.. If the stronger being left him alone that is.

Yet despite everything that had just occurred Horus was not swayed in the slightest. The only thing these occurrences having caused is an immense increase in his excitement and blood-lust.. Which had hit such heights that the insane Vizard was nearly drooling at the prospect of butchering everything within the city. One step... Another.... And just as the Vizard was about to burst off in a reiatsu empowered sprint something, or rather someone appeared before him, and before he even could register just what was going on said person began her assault.

In his immediate surprise at her arrival Horus was completely taken unaware by the powerful kick just delivered too his face. It was only as the Hollow mask upon his face shattered, that Horus had realized just what happened... And then came the pain... That wonderful pain.. And god did he ever feel it.. The single kick seemed to reverberate throughout the crimson haired males entire body. Every single inch of his being ached from that one single kick.. But as quick as the pain came it was shaken off, which normally, if Horus weren't so utterly driven by excitement and blood-lust, would have taken a few moments longer. And if this were said normal situation the woman's follow up to her kick may have completely landed...

A sickening smile threatened to split Horus' face as a trail of fresh crimson blood drip from the corner of the mans mouth. The smile only grew as the Vizard was overcome with sheer insanity.. His eyes began to gleam with murderous intent and insanity.. The laughter that now rumbled forth was utterly insane.. High pitched and joyful one moment, before becoming low and murderous the next. Blonde hair and crimson eyes briefly entered Horus' view as the woman retracted her leg before throwing a powerful punch towards the Vizard's gut. BOOM... a loud echo rocked the area as the crossed blades of Horus' Shikai met the woman's punch just in time.

Before Horus' body even had the chance to be rocked back by the strength behind the punch the woman was already following up with a swift six shot combo. The first punch, aimed for his face, barely half-missing, and still cracking the bones in Horus' jaw. The next five punches were another story, each one landing just as solidly as the one before it. By now Horus' lip was busted, blood pouring from his mouth, face beginning to swell. Yet the pain once again was shaken off as the insane man simply GRINNED at the crimson eye'd woman. Despite his condition Horus was able to step back and avoid her uppercut a mere moment before it landed, thus also barely dodging her followup of an axe-kick/drop kick.

The ground beneath Horus' feet was another story. Erupting as the woman's kick met it, and causing the Vizard to be thrown back a bit despite not being hit by the kick itself. At this point Horus' just stood there as he swept a hand over his face before looking from said hand, to the ground before him, and then the blonde. The moment his eyes landed upon her laughter erupted from depth within his chest once again. Yet this time it didn't appear to quite hold the insanity it had before.. No.. This time it was.. More joyful??

Horus' simply watched as she suddenly appeared roughly ten feet away, his laughter yet to cease. The mans body ached... His face throbbed.. And honestly once his excitement, adrenaline, and blood-lust died down, he'd be in for a world of pain even with his tolerance for it. Not quite paying attention to what the woman was saying, Horus was absorbed in his own thoughts, which happened to revolve around the woman before him.

'Hehehe.. This woman... Ahahaha.. Fuck this bitch is strong!.. She means business too.. FUCK!...' Horus' thoughts continued to ramble on as the woman spoke.. In the end one thing became obvious.. He wasn't going to be butchering the civilians of this city anymore. With that realization Horus simply mumbled a quite fuck.. Though the insane smile upon his face had yet to falter even the slightest. With a sigh the Vizard deactivated his Shikai, sheathing his blades.

"The fuck am I supposed to do now! Huh?! Fuck.. I came here to fight.. to kill.. And you! You fucking showed up and brought a stop to that before I even got started! I WANT TO SPILL BLOOD WOMAN! WHO AM I GUNNA KILL NOW!"
As he spoke the Vizard's voice seemed oddly calm, yet chilling.. Then the insanity, anger, and blood-lust began to spill in as he became enraged at the fact that his fun had been halted. Horus was pissed.. And absolutely itching to spill blood.. And quite frankly he didn't care who's it was. The only thing preventing him from spilling the woman's before him was the obvious fact that she carried much more power than he, then there were her forces, and potential allies to deal with..

At this point the insane male began pacing back and forth, muttering murderous thoughts as he did so... The man definitely needed to let loose soon before he simply snapped, and if that happened, not even the knowledge of superior foes would prevent an attempt at obliterating the island continent.

What in the world was this feeling? While a cold wind blew throughout the city streets, Veras gave the likes a Horus a very callous gaze as she looked down upon at the likes of the male with a sensation of familiarity. For a few moments, with the way the vizard carried himself, The Fair Lady could have sworn that...he reminded her all too much of the chaotic nature that her younger brother once possessed when they first met so many years ago within the depths of Old Karakura Town. From the shouting for blood, to the desire to destroy for more and with the ferocity for more. There was something off about this behavior that she was paying witness to, and The Jade Cross Commander wasn't going to overlook this reaction in the slightest.

Ergo, with a soft sigh escaping pass her lips, Veras had already decided internally what she was going to from this point onward. Henceforth, it was time to begin an exchange of words with the male to see where their paths would go from this point onward. "You say you desire to slaughter more? You speak words of destruction? And you take it all with glee?" Pausing for a moment, a more unsettled expression would emerge across the likes of the Jade Cross commander; almost one of uneasiness. Though, that for but a brief moment before she transitioned back into a neutral glow.

"You remind me too much of someone I once knew...." Muttering almost to herself, she'd shake her head and took a glance around her in order to scan the area to see if any enemy forces were arriving. Based on the fact a large sum of the enemy happened to being forced back out of the city as more allies were arriving and turning the tables on this city, Veras estimated that this takeover will have been completed soon enough. Henceforth, she had time to further indulge on this personal pursuits that were beginning to dance in the mind of the Cross Commander as she further interacted with the likes of Horus. "...to be sincere to myself, you almost remind me of my brother...."A softer voice coming out in light of these words being echoed out from her soul, the blonde-vixen would release yet another gentle sigh before getting onward with the proposal that was beginning to come to mind for The Crazed Vizard Male.

Perhaps it was something to fill the gaping void expanding within the depths of her heart, maybe it was a gap in clarity on her judgement; but no matter what the case may be there, it could never hurt to take in another soldier filled with valor and give him a direction of guidance in a world filled with purposelessness. "...which is why, I'll be giving you a chance to fight alongside the likes of Kokuryuteshi And Monsuta. If you crave destruction, if you desire a reason to battle and wish to take yourself further; than simply join us in this war as we shield the likes of Australia from the opposing forces on this planet. It does not matter which organization you long to join, so long as on this battlefield, in this place; you take up the mantle of your spirit's flare and use it to obliterate everything within our path."

Now pulling out a strange sphere-like device that seemed to have holographic controls, Veras appeared to be tapping in a strange series of numbers and keys in it until a small box came into view before them in a gentle expansion of light and slowly floated downward to the likes of Horus's feet for him to take.

"Take that box. Inside of it should be pills to restore your health back to normal. There are roughly nine within the box, and you can only take three in a row before unsightly side-effects will take place on your body. They are filled with varying energies from within my organization and should help you get back to normal." Still inputting data, after a few moments of waiting, an illuminating silver sphere materialized before them; hovering behind the likes of Veras while she looked back at Horus. "This is a URE Sphere. Within the core of it lays nearly infinite energy...provided it isn't damaged heavily. I am more than willing to give this to you..." Closing her eyes, The Cross Commander would take a brief pause before getting on with her speech. "...but before I can give you the next token of our appreciation, I'll need to receive an answer on what you intend to do. WIll you follow me, or go back to your old ways? The choice is yours for the most part, but I cannot bestow this wondrous gift otherwise..."

So with those words echoed into the area for him to digest however he may, she'd re-open her eyes and inhale a new breath of air. Taking her internal focus away from the likes of Horus for a few moment, she felt stronger pulsations and ripples within the core of the city underground as the likes of the Kuro Suso was finally coming together. There seemed to be more established roots within the city, the barrier around the metropolis happened to be roaring in strength and there were still no scenes of enemy forces.

Many types of soldiers were ready to shoot down aerial threats, slaughter targets on the ground and rip through any sort of cyber-based attacked. Everything was on edge for this moment, there was a lot riding on this war and the tense nature could be felt as they all waited anxiously for their plan to go into effect as the country broke further out into war; sensing many powerful entities even from hundreds of miles away; showcasing that the level of this war was surely escalating and this needed to hurry.

"...and I'm afraid there isn't much time to decide on a choice. As I'm sure you can sense from how you fought, this war for the nation of Australia is growing in intensity. Many superpowers are amassing on this island as we speak, a plethora of soldiers from all factions are losing their lives and much destruction is taking place. My plan is going into effect here, but after this city is secured, I will ask of you to follow me into the pits of hell and put your resolve to use for our cause. There are still many battles to be fought in this war, so please come with me...."[

Once again closing the each of her eyes, Veras would mutter softly to herself. "...if only for my sake." And with that, she'd put an end to any further interaction; focusing her mental energy on coordinating positions of her men, ensuring the different sections of the city were protected and that this plan was going to go as efficiently and smoothly as it possibly could with the least amount of damage and swift speed.

Only time could tell at this point where these actions and words would lead them as the War for Australia grew more urgent in nature, and the pulsation between these two grew stronger.

Artist: Hans Zimmer - Song: Psychological Recovery - Word Count: 1416

As Horus continued pacing about, his footsteps occasionally hastening before slowing once again. All the while the male could feel the blondes gaze upon him but opted to ignore for the time being.. Or at least that was the plan until Horus steadily grow annoyed at the woman's constant gaze. It was when his own gaze snapped to her that the Vizard realized she seemed to be lost in thought, or at least had been for a brief moment. As his gaze met hers Horus couldn't help but feel lost at what was happening.. He knew the woman could deal with him if needed, yet here they were standing a mere ten feet from the other, their gazes locked as a soft sigh escaped the woman.

It was at this point that the blonde began to address Horus, whom allowed her most of his attention.. The crazed man couldn't help his growing curiosity concerning both the woman, and the entire situation of the war. As the woman spoke of Horus' wishes she, for but a brief moment, seemed unsettled to some degree. Perhaps it was due too his insanity.. Or maybe the simple fact that Horus simply enjoyed blood-shed, carnage, insanity, and utter chaos. Either way the golden eye'd male hadn't missed that brief moment the blonde had been unsettled for.

The next words the woman would speak though would be words that would cause a brief, but abrupt chuckle to escape Horus' lips. He honestly hadn't expected something like this.. After-all how often is one told they remind someone of a person from their past.. Especially when said person who had just heard such was Horus.. Who in the world could he possible resemble that made him remind this blonde of someone... These thoughts and more began to race through the Vizard's mind at a rapid pace.. Despite his outburst the Vizard had yet to move, and had yet to remove his focus from the blonde, whom now sincerely intrigued the male.

If Horus had thought he was surprised before, his audible intake of air would be the only sign that this time he truly was surprised.. He had never expected the one whom he reminded her of to be so close.. And somewhere deep in the recesses of his mind and soul a small portion of himself and his Inner Hollow were grinning at the possibilities this information could entail.. This could be something quite useful in the end.. And while that small portion of himself was plotting the rest was still getting over the moment of shock. This was becoming too much for the man.. First his plans had been ruined.. He had been beaten, and he knew it, and now this...

As the Vizard struggled with himself internally there were reactions externally, his reiatsu in reaction to his current mental and emotional chaos, began to come into existence at his feet as it began to whirl and wisp around the males body. As this continued a savage, insane grin split Horus' face.. His golden eyes holding a chilling glint of.. something.. within them.. Yet somehow the male managed to keep hold upon himself, and kept his attention upon the woman, no matter how he itched to simply take his blades and lodge them in her throat before cutting clean through the neck. The mere thought of doing such a thing causing Horus' to lick his lips, the action resembling a starving person held still before a feast.

Kokuryuteshi And Monsuta... A chance.... A choice.... A purpose.. A reason.. Destruction.. War.. Chaos... Carnage.. Obliteration...... A purpose... Something the Vizard had always been without.. And this woman was offering it too him, all she asked was his insanity to be pointed else where it seemed... But there was more too it.. The Vizard had always been alone.. And whether he, or the woman realized it or not, this was a chance the deepest recesses of his broken, insanity stricken soul would not allow pass by. Horus could hear the dual voices of his Zanpakutō and Inner Hollow, the two apparently in agreement for a change, both essentially yelling for the man to join the woman and end his lonesome existence.

Thoughts running wild.. Voices clashing.. All of which were his own.. The males reiatsu began too pick up further, becoming a raging tempest around him as his inner turmoil continued, only for said tempest to die down a moment later. Crimson locks blocked Horus' eyes from view as he glanced at the woman before him, watching as she pulled out a spherical device and began striking keys upon it's holographic keyboard. As she seemed to finish an expansion of light appeared before slowly drifting towards Horus' feet before setting down. Despite his inner turmoil the blondes explanation of what was within the box was heard, and immediately opened the box to retrieve a single pill before popping it into his mouth a swallowing it. His only reaction to the pill being a mere, "Not as good as candy..."

As his attention drifted back to Veras, whom was still unknown to him, Horus noticed the silver sphere hovering behind her. The male listened as she explained that it contained near infinite energy, and she was willing to bestow it upon him. Of course the Vizard, even in his current mental state, knew there had to be a catch of some sort.. Which was quickly addressed by Veras. Whom simply asked if he would follow her, or return too his old ways... Already the male began considering his answer, the outside world becoming meaningless in these few moments.

Right now everything centered around Horus and his decision. The soldiers, no matter their number, mattered not. The preparations within the city mattered not. Absolutely nothing mattered aside from this single decision. Yet Horus heard Veras as she explained the situation, the numerous superpowers arriving in Australia, and her own plan.. It appeared she was already comfortable to some degree with the thought of himself following her deeper into this war... Her final words, whether she meant them to be heard or not, had been. And Horus couldn't even start to comprehend why she seemed to want him to do this for her sake.. If it was truly for hers that is.

Finally Horus let loose an enormous sigh.. One he hadn't quite known he had been holding in this whole time. This matter was simply taxing on so many different levels.. But in the end Horus could only see positives coming out of following the woman.. Even if he knew nothing about her aside from that she could likely kill him here and now... And so with those thoughts, among a multitude of others running through his mind the Vizard began to chuckle silently before it steadily increased until eventually becoming a blood-thirst roar of laughter.

Locking eyes with the blonde before him Horus grinned.. A true grin.. Holy fuck! The woman actually brought a REAL smile too his face.. Woah.. Well... He'd have to think back on that one later on.. There was a war to get himself involved in after-all.. And now it seemed he would be given a purpose.. Along with who knows what else. If Veras were to peer into Horus' eyes at this very moment she'd be able to read a multitude of emotion, from blood-lust, insanity, joy, rage, anger, anxiety, and oddly enough hope, within the pair of golden eyes.

Grin still plastered upon his face Horus allowed himself to bow slightly before returning his gaze to Veras. A deep calming breath later Horus allowed himself to speak..

"Hehe.. hehe.. hahahahaha.. A purpose huh!? A meaning to my life! Just that alone is enough for me to try this idea of yours.. But then you went and threw in obliterating everyone before me.. Hehe.. I think I like yah already!.."

The Vizard suddenly blurred forward, leaving just a few inches between himself and Veras as he spoke once again..

"Well lets see where this purpose you've promised me takes me hmm? Heh who knows I might just have a friend after this.. Not counting the voices in my head that is.."

At that the Vizard burst into an insane, gleeful cackle as he seemed to dance around the blond in a way only a madman could. With an agreement made it was time to unleash hell upon everything in his way.. Whether his new bond grew stronger or not, only time, and the war would tell.

The Madness of War Descends Upon Perth....[War For Australia] Empty Re: The Madness of War Descends Upon Perth....[War For Australia]

Artist: 澤野弘之 - Song: 凸】♀】♂】←巨人 - Word Count: 1610
It seemed the reply to move them towards the dawning hope of a new future was given. For with Horus's acceptance onto the path which the likes of Veras Luras put him on, there was going to be nothing left to do but to see if those words held truth, depth and most of all: action. Most men were able to utter beautiful words, moving words and powerful words; but it took stronger men to follow these words up with the integrity of their action. Never the less, though, there was a sense of relief that he had accepted her request to endure this path of bloodshed in this sea of war and conflict which they found themselves in the middle of.

Staring at the intensity of his eyes when their two gazes met, Veras could tell that the male had been aching for a moment such as this to put his worth to the test with a proper cause. At least, that is what she believed with all her intuition. For the wits of the Jade Cross commander were not dull in the slightest. These perceptions were molded together and hardened from years of moving herself up through the ranks of The Kokuryuteshi, interacting with a sea of countless people under her command and through the strifes of personal conflict within her private life.

When someone hurt, Lady Veras felt she could sense when. If a person stored hidden anger within? The deduction could be made easily enough in her mind. Of course someone can never be right with the absolute nature one hundred percent of the time, the likes of The Cross commander had a superb track record of doing so and she'd hope these premonitions that were vested within the psychotic Vizard would hold the same depths of accuracy as she had in the past.

"I hold no promises as to where our future and paths will take us from this point onward, but I am sincerely glad you've decided to go through with this action. From here on out, the only option we have left between the two is to believe that choices we've made on this day won't be regretted and that it will bring us one step closer towards what we are aiming for in this life." Closing her eyes for a moment, more static, hazy and blurred imagery of her brother raced through the mind of Veras. Whispers of her longing for a home, echos of the life she once lead within the Espada and the constant scenery of abandonment, death and disappoint all flashed into one ball of utter hurt in this woman's mind.

Grabbing her right arm for a moment, she'd clench it heavily to subdue these thoughts as they rattled her skull like a torrent of never-ending suffering. This mental anguish was deafening, these sensations were all consuming and the entrails of her sorrow simply would not go away. It nearly reached a point of her drawing blood, but she soon stopped herself after that before letting out a deeply heavy sigh; tilting her head upwards into the sky as a burst of strong wind a nearby explosion blew in her face; moving those luscious, golden locks within her hair in an ever-so elegant matter as she gazed up at the sky to see that her actions were finally taking effect.

If they had any sense of keen instinct, they'd know something big was coming. The rumbling in the ground signified it, the intensity of the air submerged them in it and the blaring noises of the barrier above them finalized it. The city, for all intents and purposes, was going to be saved on this very day. For with the roaring of the Kuro Sosu, it's energy was not going to be used for such villainous purposes as it did the day the likes of Mana Asthavon invaded Malaysia; but instead it's awesome potential shall be used to protect this fair city from any enemy forces as her men were locking this entire city down under the command of the Monsuta, The Kokuryuteshi and their allies.

Setting her sights back on the likes of Horus, Veras observed him for a moment before deciding on what she'd do next. It's obvious that this city was going to be under their control, but the war was far from being won. Scattering over reports of in-depth fighting becoming more widespread throughout the nearby cities, there was a sense of uneasiness. So many powerful beings on one continent could potentially cause the ignition of another World War. Even where she stood now, the daunting power of many titans of battle could be felt surging all around her. With this many otherworldly beings converging onto one location, there was no doubt that this land was going to be forever marked and the world would be pushed into a new direction as a result of this war. It made the hairs on the back of her neck stand up, the chills on her spine tingle and her mind race with questionable thoughts as there were many possibilities going through her mind that could result as a consequence of this war.

But, putting things back into perspective, there wasn't time for that. After all, this WAS a war and she was A COMMANDER. She needed to lead, she needed to be strong and the time for doubt, worry, anxiety and question could come later when they are in a more secure position. For now, that talk of action was going to be needed and she had pinpointed the next location in which they'd strike: The Canberra–Queanbeyan. With the two of their powers combined, and with the backing of her men, they'd surely be able to all but ensure the take over of that city and add another section of Australia claimed.

"I don't know how things will turn out, I never have. I can only believe in my intellect, my abilities and the limitations of myself I know very well. While I would not mind being your cherished companion, it'll be a choice you'll have to make for better or worse to let me by your side as our lives become more intertwined." Now callously staring at the south exit of the city, she'd tap the air around her and produce a strange sphere that would expand to large enough size to fit the two of them through it. What was this gateway? It was going to lead them straight into the fire of yet another battle in this war within the city of The Canberra Queanbeyan.

"What lays before us will be yet another battlefield to which to claim for our cause. It will be the befitting stage to put your words, your valor and your choices to the test. There will be many difficult decisions to make, many bold actions to undergo and a grueling fight to be had. I cannot ensure your safety, but I will use what I have in my disposal to ensure your chances of survival are high enough to make this a worthwhile endeavor." Pausing for a moment, she'd soon activate a series of telepathy links throughout the troops scattered in the city via one of the Iramasha's Chaos Spells.

'This is Veras Luras, Commander of the Jade Cross of The Kokuryuteshi. In regards to my status update, this city should be secured as of now and we are going to be moving onwards to The Canberra Queanbeyan. Keep your wits about you, mend your focus to be as sharp as mentally possibly and do NOT let your guard down under any circumstances. We are going to move in, and we are going to move out. This isn't the time for blind heroics, nor is it the time for games; this is war, my men. And we, of the Jade Cross, are the ones who get the task down with the utmost precision. Our job is essential to getting the sealing of these cities untouched by our enemy forces with the most absolute speed we can muster. So all acts of bravery can be saved for fantasies. I'm not looking for a large body-count in this war due to simpletons looking to make a name for themselves. This is progressively turning into a war that will surely scar this land if we do not act swiftly enough. So follow my orders, stay close and let us commence with this operation to the best of our abilities. Over and out.'

With that message even being broadcasted to the likes of Horus Sariel, Veras let out a cold sigh as she began stepping forth into the darkness of the portal to be reunited with the light of another battle awaiting to be had. Motioning her right arm towards the direction of Horus, the Ure SPhere that once hovered so closely to her now descended upon the likes of The Vizard and attempted to merge with him to grant him access to this phenomenal power should he choose to accept this.

Though, before she fully went into the portal, The Cross Commander would turn her her back to Horus and say: "No one will know how this battle will turn out, so choose for yourself what you think will be best and the one you'll be in less grief over. I have faith in you, but no concrete evidence. So my choice is to believe in you for now until you've proved me otherwise right or wrong. That is my choice...." Now walking into the portal, the time for talk was over, but one whisper would escape;:

"...a choice I soon hope not to regret"

Artist: Kraddy - Song: Into The Labyrinth - Word Count: 944

Purpose... the single word continued to ring through his head even now. Finally after two hundred and seven years he had once again gained a purpose. At the realization of such a thing Horus couldn't prevent the brief flashback of when he had lost his foster mother, all due too his own growing reiatsu. In that brief moment, for the first time in an unknown amount of time, true pain flitted across Horus' eyes before once again being hidden by the sheer insanity the main carried within.

As his gaze locked with Veras' own it began to dawn on him. Just how easily she had understood, and then turned him too her own side. At some point in her lifetime she had felt the pain he had, and maybe even witnessed the insanity that courses through his mind every waking moment of the day. Or maybe she didn't and was just good at manipulating people... Honestly it no longer mattered to the crimson haired male.. He once again had a purpose, and a chance. Maybe soon he'd have something to truly strive for.

But as things were now there was a war going on, and Horus still wanted his own piece of it even if he wasn't going for the same goals as he was initially. Soon Veras began to speak, and Horus listened to her words intently, determined to see his new path through to the end. As she mentioned that she was glad of his decision Horus simply nodded, somewhat proud of his own decision. When she spoke of regret the male almost burst into laughter, if it weren't for noticing her momentary lapse in attention as she grasped at her right arm. It seemed she had some internal turmoil to deal with as well..

Suddenly instinct began to flare deep within Horus' mind as he felt the immense superpowers all over the country at battle. The ground rumbled from the intensity of the energies clashing upon the continent, the air itself grew thick and heavy enough that Horus felt slight pressure upon him.. Then the noise the barrier made began.. Said barrier likely saving the city from untold destruction caused by the clashing superpowers. Despite all of this what Horus felt was not fear.. Nor weakness.. Instead the man felt such excitement he couldn't even compare it too anything he had felt before. His skin tingled with it, his heart trembled in its beats, and both his Inner Hollow & Zanpakutō seemed to wish to answer the call for battle, though the Zanpakutō being the calmer of the two about it.

Eventually Horus came out of his own thoughts, just in time to clue into what Veras was currently speaking about. She stated that she didn't know how things would turn out.. He merely shrugged, absolutely uncaring of the fact. He of course knew she believed in her skills and abilities.. He doubted she'd be in the position she was if she did doubt them.. But what he hadn't expect was for her to say she wouldn't mind becoming his cherished companion.. That.. That was something Horus had absolutely no experience with.. And for once the man couldn't keep the shock from showing on his face, though he'd be quick to hid it beneath his insanity.

The man continued to listen as Veras spoke of putting his words, valor, and choices to the test. Something he had no issue with doing. This time, when she spoke of his safety, the male did chuckle for a moment before simply stating..

"If I don't even worry about my own safety why should you?"

At those words the mans insane grin broke out upon his face again, his eyes shimmering with various untold emotions, among the ones Veras had already seen within them. Briefly after he spoke Veras' voice emerged within his mind, it seemed she had somehow created a telepathic link.. Not that the Vizard would really understand the complexities about it. As he listened to his new companion, whom he finally had a name for, the excitement contained within him continued to bubble.. They were about to move onto another city.. And though Veras didn't want a large body count, one thing she forgot for that brief moment, was that Horus was with her. And though she could likely prevent such a thing, Horus was all about the slaughter and pain once he gets going.. Whether he's there to reclaim the city or not.

When Veras' message ended she stepped towards the portal that Horus hadn't really paid attention to until now. It seemed the portal would lead the pair to their next destination. But before she had stepped through Veras' halted, motioning her right arm towards Horus as the Ure sphere from before descended upon him. Choosing to trust in his new companion Horus simply let the sphere do it's job as it attempted to merge with him.. What would result from such a thing? Horus didn't really care.. He would trust Veras, his new companion, and the one whom gave him a purpose once again. When it came down to it, Veras had taken her own risks in choosing to trust him, as such it was only fair he did the same.. Of course though he barely heard her whisper of hoping not to regret her decision.. Horus just watched as she vanished into the portal.. With a blink the Vizard cracked his back, arms, and legs before a hollow insane laughter wrestled from his throat.. As it echoed throughout Perth, the sound carrying over all else, Horus stepped into the portal.. The first step upon his new path had been taken..
