Kenichi stood outside the cemetary his arms were folded as he leaned on the car, his step mother was inside the car reading a book while Kenichi thought about his mother. The boy straightened his arms and walked into the graveyard slowly thw walk wouldn't be that long he eventually found his mother's grave and looked at the tombstone, The boy peted the top of it and moved back he kneeled in front of the grave "hey mom..sorry i havent been in to visit lately, I guess i have been overwhelemed so much is going on...dad he is still a major jerk...he wants me to follow in his footsteps and be a lawyer, which isn't me...Aunty is still in America...I think i may go there after graduation, get as far away from that jerk as possible...hmm what else I made it to black belt in Taekwondo, I had to fight Nobu...you remember right i told you about him last time i was here..well I beat him this time...he did not take defeat so well, but then again his type never do" he spoke quietly he smiled trying to stop himself from being sad.
The boy closed his eyes and smiled "oh guess what...the twins are going away as exchange students, yeah it's exciting Yuki told me...its really exciting and I am a little envious, I always wanted to go off and see new things you know...Yuki shes also attending my school now which is great, she and dango have broken up im trying not to find joy in that....I really am mom." he spoke quietly. Kenichi kept his eyes closed "Kenichi" he heard a soft faint voice. it sounded like the voice of his mother, he had longed to hear it and knew he was imaging things he heard the voice again "Kenichi..RUN" Kenichi opened his suprised and with a sudden thud he saw a massive black tenticle like foot land on his mother's grave.
The teenager stood up and looked up to see a squid like create with a white mask on it's face and red markings on the mask. The boy was scared, but more than anything he was pissed off "HEY UGLY GIANT GET YOUR TENTICLE OFF MY MOTHER"S GRAVE" he yelled out a powerful force of spiritual energy poured out from Kenichi's body as his body glowerd brielfy Kenichi listened as the giant spoke "right after I devour yours and her soul." Kenichi was confused and suddenly he found a woman in front of him, the boy could regognize her instantly "Mom" he spoke in shock.
The boy watched as the hollow knocked her away with it's tenticle and moved in to strike kenichi delivering a tenticle attack from above, kenichi rised his arms to block it in an X he knew he was done for and there was no way to survive, he closed his eyes and felt something deep inside, he opened his eyes shocked as a blue circle appeared with a snow flake mark in the middle. A massive disc like shield of ice came out. Kenichi was shocked he could see through the ice at the monster. [am I dreaming...or have I lost my mind] he thought to himself kenichi watched as the creature raised it's tenticle only to deliver another strike it hit the shield, but still it held its ground.

"Those who prey off the weak are a disgrace!"
It was a simple day really. At least for Yukiko, do work, train some new shinigami, talk to her adoptive brother and have a small snack with him, and have a good nights rest after some hours of training. Unfortunately, it was decided that SHE had to go and attend to this hollow scouting. Why her? She'll never know. Yukiko didn't have much time for this, let alone patience. Her piercing cold red eyes glared at the hells butterfly when she received the message. She sighed softly as she tied her hair up in a long ponytail, hair could be such an inconvenience while on the job. Yukiko then grabbed her sheath that held her weapon, the charm clanging against the hilt as she placed it at her left hip, the familiar feel of the object slightly bumping against her hip. Oh how she had missed the feel of it, but no time to for a blast in the past. It was time she got to her stationed spot.
It didn't take much long for her to get to her station, she kept watched of Karakura city. Strict orders not to wander into the city and buy sweets for herself. Her eyes seemed to glow slightly as she scanned her surroundings. This place was like a ghost town! And it didn't help she was not far from a cemetery, she never liked those places, too many bad memories collected when she went past them. It also gave her the chills, something Yukiko would usually never get from her stoic nature. She sat upon something hard, she couldn't tell what it was. Her arms folded across her chest comfortably, her eyes closed in concentration but all her other sense high and alert. Suddenly her eyes snapped open, a hollow! She could feel it. Yukiko swiftly got up and began to walk to the cemetery, sheathing her katana as she glanced at the other presence. A human? Shit, this could be bad if she wasn't careful. Knowing humans, this boy would most likely get in her way. 'No matter,' she thought as she quickly ran to the hollow, jumping up with her katana at her side, if the boy could look closely he'd see her swipe sideways up, and in a blink of an eye back to the ground. One thing she learned from Tsubine, don't ever turn your back on the enemy. Yukiko quickly turned around to glare the beast in the dark sockets they call eyes.
Snow switched her attention to the boy, a small smirk came upon her face. This boy had some spiritual abilities it seems, maybe he won't be much of a dead weight after all. She at least hoped so, quickly moving her focus on the hollow she leaped once more to take another slash at it's tentacles. When she landed back on her feet she inwardly shivered. Tentacles creeped her out.

Kenichi glared at the monster, he wanted to kill the creature for touching his mother's grave. he felt his anger boil and in a flash Kenichi saw something strange slash. the boy looked back at the monster to see it lose a tenticle. the creature seemed pissed, it brought another tenticle up only to be cut off.
The teenager had no idea who this person was or what this thing was, but he did not care he just wanted his mother's resting place to be untainted by evil. the creature spat out a black ball that crashed into the shield. Kenichi gasped watching his shield disasperate. The boy was left exposed as it raised it's giant tenticle to strike Kenichi the boy clenched his fist and ran towards the beast. his legs glowed white as he jumped up towards the creature his fist glowed blue and suddenly the creature opened its mouth and spat out its long tongue wrapping it around Kenichi's body. the creature brought the tongue in to go near the mouth, the bow was shocked "IM NOT A HUMAN HAPPY MEAL LET GO OF ME NOW!!!!!!!!" He yelled in fury his hands touched the tongue and ice shot out cutting part of the tongue off of the creature. the creature snarled and brought up a tenticle at Kenichi, the boy dived out of the way narrowly missing from becoming road kill.
Kenichi was panting and closed his eyes he heard a scream and opened them, he was shocked to see his mother inte tenticle of the creature "MOM" Kenichi yelled shocked. the creature dropped his mother in it's mouth and closed it tight "MOM" Kenichi yelled as he got up and ran towards the hollow.
