The Seven: The name of the group is known well to those whom have ascended into the world of swordsman, the place is known to house only the best of the blade. However it should be known each member isn't even aware of the other, this is simply something each person as discovered within themselves. Those who do earn a piece of paper sent to them with a number on it, the number contains a special spell on it which let's them unlock further growth as a swordsman. The Seven have been selected based on upbringing only a couple are known to grace it's ranks. Race is something they don't acknowledge as a factor within this secret society. The only known goal if one could call it is that the Seven are aware whom they are. The group acts on the orders of no one, the members may not even be aware of one another. Those whom are brought into the rank of the Seven are known to be the finest swordsman the land has produced both from the past and the present. Each has a story that is old as time.
The fight each one has shown through the ages has been recorded, the group has been established since the days of Edo Period within Japan. Some believe it was founded by the Samurai of the ancient Japan. Musashi was said to be the one whom brought it to light. However this is a rumor that hasn't been proved yet by many. The distinguished feature of the Saint's or Sages is that they show a tremendous skill and a have style they alone can use. Only one, earning the title of the Saint or Sage allows a great deal more knowledge then one would realize. They are an almost secret society. Members are chosen and do not even know why or how for the most part. Simple letters arrive which unlock something for some. Others it happens within a dream, the way that people are brought into the secret and if not most hidden of groups is absolutely hidden. Members are only aware they are ones when they have the method put upon them, each person is different. The joining is up to them, they may chose to accept the sword art they've been offered or to ignore it.
Each sword style is known only to the wielder, they are special and different from each user. The knowledge of previous Saint's or Sages from their rank are given to them. It can be linked ot many a minds, however it's hard to consider it much outside of what one could think. It's highly possible for one to learn swordsmanship's most ancient's masters have to teach one. But keep in mind a person whom is calm and eccentric would likely end up getting some people whom more present their area of the 1-7. For example let's say you were a murderous genius whom fought hard and had lost his path. You could end up Hanzo or perhaps Oda himself it's a matter of simply learning what the former Saint's and Sages knew about the power that they had mastered. This knowledge is simply combined with the current, this won't give a GM or such in mental deduction or anything. This allows the user to simply gain a step closer to the Master of the Blade. To know what others have only dreamed or saw on the Television.
The Seven maintain a distant relationship, they do not know one another by name or even that they are within the same group till they come upon one another. The group remains extremely separated and to this aspect when they obtain enlightenment things don't change for the person all that much. They get given their enlightenment by the person whom came first, the knowledge of those who shared the number they are given is poured into them. Then it's developed into a style that fit's the person's personality and fighting style to a tee. This is a secret form that most of the Seven don't show unless they must. It's rarely seen and considered one of the greatest sword styles that a person can law their eyes on. It's hard to say what it could be when dealing with one of them. Only a single fact is certain, once enlightenment occurs the members do not leave they remain till the day they die. That fact remains as the spirit of the Sword shall lay within them forever.
