Lazing on a Sunny Afternoon (Social/Open)
Thu Aug 08, 2013 11:06 pm
Unholy Cameraman Production Presents
A Sunny Afternoon
Out on a stroll which is more like wandering aimlessly in a crowded miniature course called the Downtown, a scraggly-haired and bearded man approaches a bench with a nice cool bottle of Coca-Cola Zero at hand and his darkened transition eyeglasses protecting his gray eyes from the violent light. Unusual for the mass, that man is shirtless, revealing his unimpressive, hairy torso with some blemishes more noticeable than the freckles on his face and arms. At least he is wearing a pair of dark denim jeans with the waistband of his briefs peeking over the belt collar of the jeans. He is rather bare-footed at the time and given to his appearance, it is not unassuming to think that he simply does not care about other people or himself as he takes a swig of the soda and closes the cap as quick as he unscrewed it. While taking the swig, he sits down onto the bench less than graciously with a thump from his back and butt landing hard on the heated, hardened plastic.
He looks around and lets out a breath as he continuously think and think, mumbling to himself while his arms occupy the top of the bench's back panel. One moment, he grins with a creaking chuckle as a funny thought appears before he observes the people passing by and the people who are observing him. He closes his eyes and reminisces in his imagination. If one has a sharp eye for details, they could tell that he is exercising his mind in an unusual meditation while his arms are not musclebound, but are strong under the guise of a weak slender appearance. His skin was not pale, but they can glow with the sunlight beating onto his exposed, hairy pecs.

Walking down the street, Steve has never been to Japan, at least not this town in Japan. He has mostly been in New York, but that was a long time ago, so 400 years ago. This has been one hell of a life, seeing all of these strange people around and those who seem to move on the air like Thor, minus the hammer. But what is even more amazing, is the fact that people, no groups of people fight these things called Hollows who attack humans.
Just like he first week out of ice, again, he was attacked by a girl and that was a hard fight. Luckily his training from the World War One and than his time in the 21st Century fighting along side Iron Man and the others who formed the Avengers. He learned a lot and taught alot on fighting and saw a lot of strange combatants.
However, here in Karakura City, this was different. He was literally out of his element and he was always on guard. he knew that he was an open target, cause his fight against that girl, whatever she was, was tough, even for him. but who knows what others here in this world, some 400 years from when he last remember, had at most a lot more that were stronger than there was in the 2010s. Walking, he slowed as he saw a bench and a gentleman sitting there drinking a soda and not wearing a shirt or shoes.
Studying him with his eyes, he saw that the man was probably just being lazy and enjoying the time and Steve thought as he sat down as well. Steve was dressed in a pair of blue jeans and decent shoes. Wearing a button up white and brown plaid shirt, and a old brown leather jacket over this. As Steve sat down, he nodded to the man. "Hello," he said to the man, his voice having a very Brooklyn accent.

When the lazy man hears the footsteps, a corner of his mouth that is out of the approaching man's sight raises as he knows he is going to have some fun. The steps to his hearing are monotonous and heavy, given that the man who is approaching him is a soldier with more focus on physique than with gunnery. As visitor sits down, a breeze passes through as the lazy man's long, fire-like hair sways behind the bench while the lazy man has his head hanging backwards. "Hello," spoken the visitor in an accent that clicks onto the lazy man's mind. "Why so tensth? I can feel th'purpse thro'yer fot'steppes." The lazy man replies while he wiggles his toes unconsciously. Given that the lazy man was not looking, it could give the visitor a strange sense that this lazy man is more than normal. The accent that the lazy speaks in was definitely from New England while the voice was mellow and deep like he could sing the blues at any moment.
What is typical of the New Englander accent is the idea of cutting words short and blend them into shorter sentences since they are mostly factory workers in origin of the accent. As the world keeps going, the mind of this lazy man is continuously formulates many ways he could mess with this man's mind for his own entertainment. He bends his right arm towards himself and opens the cap of his Coca Cola Zero and takes a swig from it before closing the cap with his left index finger and thumb. Shortly after that, he lets out an abrupt burp with a grin off to the side of his mouth to let out the gas. "Smith. Jacob Smith. Mon-Senior--Jacob Smith. MD. Doctor Mon-Senior Jacob Smith." He introduces himself as a parodied reference from an old movie series as well having his voice clear enough to sound normal, but still deep.

Steve looks over at the gentleman, "Steve Rogers," he says to him as he offers Jacob a hand. "Your from the northeast, New England area?" he asks him as he listens to the man speak. and he thinks for a moment as he ponders. "Just readjusting," he says to him as he thinks of a reason for being tense. "That, and being attacked by some girl with a sword who turned into some type of winged creature. What's worst, was that I have no idea as to why she was after me," he adds as he leans back against the bench.
Changing the subject,m Steve studies the man, "I take it you are traveling in Japan than?" he asks him as he looks around at everyone that walks. Waking up after being frozen for 400 years, finding out all of your friends are gone and you are literally alone, plus being attacked by some winged lady for some reason, kind of makes you tense. Add to the fact, that there are spirits and those who fight them here, running around kind of makes you think on a lot of things and keeps one tense.
