Khaana has been around for a little more than two years now, and has been defined in most conflicts entirely by her powers. While she's not weak in a general sense, most of the conflicts she's found herself in involve situations or individuals well beyond her means to fight through conventional clashes of sheer strength. In almost every conflict, she has been the underdog, outclassed in potency and general capability, but rather than despair, she's come to revel in what she can accomplish. Not just in terms of her performance, but how far she can push her powers. With her already impressive control of her abilities she's always pushed the limit of what her powers can do, and as time has gone on, she's only continued to do so.

This isn't merely by necessity, but by passion. The thrill of a fight, and forcing herself to the edge of what she's capable of has been something she's craved despite her mundane choice in occupation. When she manages to take time off, it's usually to seek out a fight or tussle against someone strong she knows. Shes surrounded herself not with humans or people with similar tastes and occupation, but Arrancar whose respect she's earned through combat. Even going so far as to convince one of them to take her to Hueco Mundo to all but drown herself in violence, spending several days in her released state to try and get a handle on her hollow nature.

In more recent times, she's all but vanished for several weeks as a result of being drawn to Africa.However, that backfired significantly, and she found herself surrounded by a large number of hollows much stronger than her after being 'recruited' by an Adjuchas to Asher's cause. Ultimately, she was not able to keep her instincts in check, and as a result, almost lost her life fighting the hollows in the Hole.

Suffice to say, she wasn't victorious. Even managing to kill and devour several of the weaker hollows, the instant that her little tussle drew the attention of one of the larger kaiju hollows, she was almost killed. It was by sheer fate that she was retrieved by Amaranta and didnt' wind up as hollow food, that and the death of Asher putting the hollows in slight disarray.

Even in her state of recovery, she still can't help herself from challenging Amaranta, and for the first time in their many bouts, manages to deal significant damage to the woman, pushing the limits of both her powers as well as her own stamina.

Even as Khaana struggles with who she is. With the goals she once set out for herself crumbling to dust, and feeling like a monster rather than a human. It's fighting that puts her at ease.
