• Appearance : When Ryujin was a young man he had black hair, though this would change as he got older. He was a built and strapping young man for his age. during his time as but a young man he did have short black hair, though for reasons he never stated he lost the coloring to his black hair soon. Though the nickname he got with it was always their, the Black Hair almost like the night skies without the stars. His coal eyes able to stare a hole through most men, but his rival wasn't most men. Ryujin only had ever been interested in a single man for a challenge, though more on his friend later. Picture below shows a time of him at his youngest.


Though Ryujin's hair changed blonde, many believe it was from the fact that he was giving off so much reiatsu that the hair itself became dyed by it to the roots. Though this wasn't the truth of the subject, he spent many of his days outside training and battling his rival till the days turned dark. It was only when he won several bouts but also lost several that showed how great the man truly was, Ryujin's golden hair had made his old nickname the Dark Knight Shinigami disappear, he wasn't fitting of the title anymore it seemed. Ryujin also seemed to of gained a scar across his eye now, the right eye seemed to of been cut by someone though Ryujin never did care about it. calling it a fond memory of his friend and his many battles. His blonde hair was long, but he seemed to have a striped chin hair pattern that he kept even from then, oddly enough his hair in that area was able to retain it's black coloring. Ryujin wear's a pair of glasses that seem rather simple though even his friend couldn't manage to break them with his insane reiatsu. So they may of been made specially for him, it doesn't seem as though his eye sight is bad however. The reason he wears them remains unknown.


As he got older and became an old man his long blonde hair became white so did his beard, old age did seem to get upon his face. However it's known that he has a body that someone could crack eggs against his abs alone. He is built like a tank, his body may just be so insanely well built that he can do feats most people would never dream of. The man is in good enough shape to swim from one continent to the other if he so choose, to give an idea of how well fit Ryujin is. Now he normally wears a normal t-shirt, with a white hooded haroi. This depending on whom he works for will be changed around. At the moment he works for none so leaves it alone as it is. Scars seem to be all over the majestic Ryujin's body. He hides how buff he is extremely well and plays off being an old man very well.

Personality

Ryujin is an old an patient man, whom has lived since before the Academy built by his friend and rival as boy Head Captain Yamamoto. Ryujin has retired from the world it seems, having decided since his dear friend surpassed him to a level he may never reach, despite defeating the younger friend every now and then. After they crossed swords once he pushed his dear friend far, but got a good glimpse of the insane powers his best friend did have that would show him no mercy. Ryujin has shown such a patient nature that some believe he could watch the world burn before making a move. However to say he doesn't have a strength that most men lack would be a mistake that shouldn't be made casually. Ryujin has strength that very few have in this world, he's shown skills that were on par and above Yamamoto before he became what he did. Ryujin has a respect for his old friend that few would have ever seen. Ryujin has shown courage when younger that few men including the likes of Ichigo Kurosaki could match. Ryujin has gone in when he knew he would lose, it wasn't because he was trying to earn anything. It was simply he knew that come hell or high water he would needed to do this, fear exited his mind and he would and could face down whatever awaited him. Quincy, Yamamoto, or even a Vasto Lorde. It didn't matter to Ryujin, he would fight and he would prevail.

Ryujin is said to be extremely intelligent as well, so sharp that he only needs to see something once to completely grasp how it works. However sometimes he acknowledges it does take him longer to grasp things, old men need time. Though he doubts at times his old friend would accept such an excuse. To say he is able to fight on level with a Captain with his skills would be an understatement, he was said to be on par with the First Generation Captains by many. His strength and skills are well known. However it's not just that, he knows how much he is capable of and is very hard to fool with foolish tricks. He believes illusions are a child's game finding them amusing he sometimes would play along with them, just to see a persons reaction. Ryujin's nature is often playful as shown by the fact he often when fighting will put a single hand into his pocket, deciding his enemy doesn't deserve to see the fierce Sea God's wrath. His nature was once very reserved, not desiring to take part in even the most tasks till he met his friend anyways.
