New Days Dawn - Closed- Empty New Days Dawn - Closed-

What should one expect when they enter the Seventh Division, perhaps peace and serenity. Maybe a scene of people working and actively doing their job like that was all that mattered. Squad members laid on the ground everywhere, looked like a battle zone had happened Yes a war had been waged here, the sake wine would take on this Divisions member and the new Captain. He sat wearing his Haori over his shoulders now, almost like one tossed a coat on without putting the sleeves on their arms. It covered the fact that no arm was on his left side. His right hand lifted a bottle as he laughed at his Squad now enjoying the time they got to know one another. "I think you all should rest, tomorrow we'll get to work..Thanks for the good welcome party..Hahaa..." Damien couldn't help but laugh as he sat cross legged on the ground. The clean up would take a while, a few other members were here from other Divisions. He itched his head putting down the huge thing of sake, it looked to be heavy. Something that took four members of his squad to move.

The Division other then being an absolute mess, seemed fairly clean when one got towards the Captain's Office. But the drunks laid out like people who were beaten by a villain were funny for anyone to see. He laughed now again looking at them, not able to hold is as he had a smile on his face looking towards the people who mattered to him. On his right hip a sword seemed to be resting, the weapon appeared to be a sabre, though a couple things seemed fairly off about it. His feet were wearing simple sandals as he rubbed his jaw with the single arm. Shunsui-san was right this was fun, he didn't mind this type of fun as he got to his feet now. Someone could get a better look at him, his pants were not normal. He was wearing a brown color with some floral patterns on them. A white shirt that had been unbuttoned down the middle somewhat, letting people see his chest somewhat anyways. On his left side besides the missing arm, people would notice the scar on his left eye as well..

His red hair seemed seemed to be something that stood out among all the colors. "Ah this is a celebration of the many things you've done for those before me.Let's remind them that Squad Seven is still strong.. Let's get DRUNK!" He said laughing now as he seemed to be eager and able to drink. But deep beneath this was another layer that waited. He raised his cup for the others showing them who still stood strong against the sake his respect. This place was so lovely at this time of year, his untrimmed beard was light but he still couldn't help but enjoy the fun they had today. Sometimes it would be nice if every single moment could be like this, but somedays action is required. He sat his cup down now, looking at some reports of people who may of been joining. Studying them so to speak as he looked on with some interest now. Shunsui was right, the people here were also very interesting. He was surprised his friend didn't return to this place either.

So the people on the list were a girl from one location, he would have to travel there to look into it. "Hm, guess fun is almost done and I will have to go see about this one." One of the men said the Captain shouldn't be traveling so much, he grinned and spoke again now to his young friend. "It's alright my friend, you guys have had alot to drink, I wouldn't be a good Captain if I sent you. Beside's this sort of thing will need a look see before I make up my mind." His attention of course looked at the woman's bust, it was absolutely perfect what a ratio she had. Though a couple things were concerning, he seemed to be staring now at the pictures boobs as he smiled a bit rubbing his chin as though lost in a depth of thought that most wouldn't find.

As one walked through the yard of the Seventh Division home, the grass was cut and kept neat as too was the flowers and small pond with a waterfall. It was a lovely scene if you took out the tons of drunk passed out people all over the ground. Damien was walking and a guy grabbed hit foot trying to kiss it. Saying he missed his dear "Pookie" which was so funny that Damien couldn't chuckling now loudly as he looked at his friends now. They were comfortable with the new Captain, he seemed to bring about an easy going comfort to those around him. This was fine, but the guy trying to lick his foot was a bit close he pulled away now. Smiling as he shook his head, finding a bench to sit on. He'd left the large building where the body count was at it's highest. Of course they would be feeling this later as well, so the Captain would take it easy today.

It did bug the question didn't it though, when was the last time these men had fun like this. They deserved a party like this, it was over do to let the men get such enjoyment. He would have to make this a daily thing maybe, he grinned as he watched two men who were sleeping by one another. Who complete by accident, well let's just say if wedding vows were brought up, they are married. The two freaked out and almost wanted to kill one another. a Realization seemed to hit the two commonly dressed Shinigami, hangover was it's name. They both staggered away saying some amusing words that don't even truly exist in any term of language.

Surely this was the largest count of men down and not dead in history, but boy some of them pry wished they were. He smiled now as he stood out in the open by a nice cherry blossom tree, planted by someone else surely, the tree was in bloom. The petals were beautiful, such an interesting sight. Though the one of bodies laying everywhere, moaning about their heads was just so funny for Damien to watch.

"Get some rest my friends, you will pry be doing this for a while..hehe well the Party was fun.." He said to himself now as he leaned against the tree, thinking about the solution to a couple problems in his mind. His master pry never would of expected this, though him losing his arm was pry not in the list either.

Damien Soan was his name, the recently appointed Captain of the Internal Affairs Squad, Division Seven. She had been there at the captains' meeting in which he was promoted to the position of Captain in place of the siren shinigami, Kaminari Hatakeyama. There was little to be known about the man, except that he was an exceptionally skilled fighter in a time when the Gotei organization was lackluster in strength, and that he was quite the dashing individual. Under his disheveled head of red hair was a face of indulgent charisma; a robust square-shaped jaw, a long greek nose, and a bedraggled and lightly shaven circle beard. With coal black eyes looking through a pair of thin lids, he had an aura of panache about him as he strode between the two rows of Captains, accepting the position with flourish. A well-toned and tan body would get him many places, especially when he was so keen on opening up his shirt to show parts of his chest; and Yoruichi couldn't help the initial attraction she felt to his appearance. The only downsides were the arm he had lost at some point in his life, and the dreadful scar that crossed his left eye. They seemed like aged wounds, but surely the Soul Society had advanced their medical skills well enough to fix even those if he asked for it. She would remember Soifon's severed left arm, and how Retsu Unohana was able to repair in the same condition it had been before she lost it.

Now the Shihouin Princess would be making her way over to his division's barracks, the night of his inauguration. She had heard tale of a celebration being held there, and decided it would be best to go check it out and congratulate the man on his advancement. She was endowed in her casuals—a medial-sleeved orange robe with white shoulder straps was wrapped around her torso using diagonal folds, leaving a vee-shaped opening that would have revealed the woman's cleavage had it not been for the underlay beneath it. Said underlay was long-sleeved black shirt, relatively tight against her body like latex; latex, as in the material Yoruichi's bottoms were made of. Black in color and stretchable as latex was, she wore form-fitting pants down to her ankles, where white slip-on shoes were found covering her feet. As per usual, Yoruichi had her hair done in a long pony-tail, falling down to the bottom of her back even as the hairband tied it up. The rest of her fell around her head down to her neck, with two cowlicks on either side. Amber eyes dominated the focus of her face, especially at night when they seemed to glow fluorescent such as a cat's.

It was apparent she could easily see through the shroud of darkness at this time, given that Seireitei didn't use lighting outside very much. The terrace immediately outside of the seventh division was rather lavish, filled with patches of trimmed grass between the stone paths. It also had plenty of flowers, hedges, and trees to behold as they presented their healthiest blooms. The strange and perhaps most unique addition to the area was the water feature, as Yoruichi was rather sure that no other division possessed such a decoration. Such embellishment was not usually found among the thirteen divisions, saved for the courtyards of the royal families such as her own. It had her humming appreciatively, as she found the pond rather beautiful. Now, as for the corpses that lay scattered across the ground, she was sure they were not actually supposed to be a part of the ornamentation here. They each still had their spiritual presences, both were moving and groaning unceremoniously. With furrowed brows she moved deeper toward the barracks until she sensed the greatest of the presences; yes indeed, it was the same flavor of Reiatsu she had tasted in the captain's meeting. Having found her quarry, she would find herself moving toward him as his form leaned against the strong support of a cherry blossom tree. An automatic wry smile would spread across her face.

"Oi, Soan-san," she would call in a chirpy tone, her stride finally bringing him close enough to see him in full detail; he had the same look as before, clothing and all. Yoruichi would raise the object she had been holding in her hands all this time up to her chest, showing a bottle-shaped gift wrapped in florid paper. To welcome Damien Soan to the position of Captain, Yoruichi had thought it a rather nice offer to give the man a sizable bottle of Sake, since he appeared the type to be into drinking. However, looking at the state of his fellow officers, it would appear she was a little late for her brand of presents. "Congratulations on becoming the Seventh Division Captain, just thought I would welcome you and bring you a little something something, but..." She looked around, obviously noticing the fallen squad members. "Bah! You already had the party! Not fair. She appeared rather disappointed as her expression shifted to begin pouting, but it would slowly revert back to the smirk and knowing eyes that would show she was mostly playing around. She would hold the bottle out with one hand, shaking it around to hear the liquids within sloshing. "Such a waste, too," she finished in a soft voice.

Damien laughed at the comments of the female, she had such a devilish look to her. Part of him thought, I could ride that, for a second. Damien's coal like eyes lit up into the smile, he had this infectious nature that just seemed to bring joy to the others. He brought his arm and took the gift, now those features lit up with a smile. "Come let's have some to drink, would be rude of me not to give such a momentous gift to the gift giver." Damien said now, his facial features not yet changing. He gestured towards the home building, it was divided among four. He glanced at her most noticeable trait now, he'd been staring when he first met her and thankfully had mastered the skill of nod and smile. Her boobs well they were just something people thought about, well constantly. Those coal eyes closed now as to reflect on something. The crimson hair moved around now, bouncing as he stepped to go across those eyes.

"Thank you for coming to see me Shihouin-chan, I was trying to loosen my Squad up a bit..such a spirited bunch of people, I will certainly enjoy working with them..Though I do find this place a tad different. Kyoraku-kun left out some details about paper work." Damien said walking up some stairs that were made of what seemed to be wooden planks, his sandals making a noise upon each one as he sat down. His legs crossed now, sitting down at square table. His fingers opened the object now with his fingers. Pouring her a cup first, letting the fluids fill the old style cup that some saw in Japanese tea houses. Rounded in it's pattern, he poured him one as well now smiling as he waited for her to act.

"Quite the troublesome position this place is in Shihouin-chan." Damien sipped from his cup, still keeping a small smile. This certainly would be some work, even for one of his skills. He could see the destination with his special gifts, but the route was something that would take a while to get too it. Damien looked out at his people, turning his head smiling softly at the light weights that they were.

Damien's form seemed to be a sturdy one, though Shihouin would pry of already know this about him. Damien knew about the power to heal his injuries, but he enjoyed the limitation of missing such an object. Never even considering the thought of getting them fixed up so he may become a stronger person, only if be would he ever do it. His Captain's Haori ran across the ground where he sat, he thought about some of the situations going on. Chances were he would need to step in for his children, yet again.

Damien liked to stay out of these things, but perhaps it was time for him to resume the control of the Crows. Jaeden-kun had suffered such a loss at the hands of his own sickness, but it's something to consider as he sat and drank from his cup. " So Shihouin-chan, I have a question for you, more of a gathering of opinion." Damien said looking at the female, still hiding beneath that endless volume of smile that seemed to infect anyone around him.

Damien waited now, something he'd done so well his life. He waited for her to answer him.

Regardless of the fact that Damien and his pals were already drunken as all hell, he snatched the bottle from her hand in good graces, rather pleased by her choice of gift. Well, at the very least he offered to share the liquor, and for that Yoruichi was most grateful; it would not go to waste, most definitely not. So, he directed her attention to the nearby barracks building, which she presumed they were to be headed. But for a second she stopped and considered that this was all his now. He had soldiers at his command, and one of the thirteen divisions to his name. It made him one of the most notable people in all of the Soul Society, even though days ago he was but a nameless nobody. Yoruichi always thought it strange how the Seireitei worked, not always approving of their decisions. Heck, she had abandoned her home and lineage for one hundred years to intervene with one of their most mistaken of decisions. She could only hope there was no déjà vu, and that with the reconstruction of the Central 46 and its dominion, she could trust in her superiors. Her expression became thoughtful for a short second, though it would go unnoticed by Damien as he had begun to lead her indoors. Quickly returning to her ordinary mindset, her expression would soften once more and she would pick her feet up to start following the crimson-haired man.

He began speaking again, but as he addressed her she felt addled by the usage of the 'chan' honorific. Now, she already felt rather irked by the usage of formality and honorifics with her name, despite the fact that she loved to use them in turn to tease. But to be referred to with that diminutive title by someone she had just met... it threw her off guard. It was one time, so she simply let it pass and listened to what more he had to say while he commented on his new duty as Captain. Then she caught another quirk in his words as he referred to Shunsui with the 'kun' honorific; and that she would not allow to pass easy. "Kyōraku... kun?" she inquired as if she wasn't sure she heard Damien right, before placing her hand over her mouth. He was already on his way up the stairs, but Yoruichi paused at the base, as suddenly she was trying rather hard to stifle the hysterics that threatened to burst forth. Before long it happened, as the woman suddenly began laughing aloud as she found this matter to be incredibly hilarious. The fit would last for a short while before she managed to calm herself, and even then there were giggles that escaped her throat like hiccups. "Kyōraku-kun, eh? It would seem you two were a little closer than I had originally thought." She said this while bringing her hands up and interlacing her fingers in a comedic gesture of togetherness. 'Kun'... well, it was almost like 'Chan' in the way that suggested quite the close bond.

Now Yoruichi didn't really think he intentionally meant the honorific in such a way, and probably wouldn't even realize the joke behind it. But, he seemed to be adding such endearing subtitles to the people he was addressing, most likely mistaken in doing so. The joke would have its glory, and eventually it would pass and Yoruichi would bring herself to composure. With a cheeky breadth, she began her ascent up the stairs to follow him to whatever room he was taking her to. It was an open and plain one, with only the simplest of adornments and furniture. As Damien found his seat at the table in the middle, she too would join him in the same indian-style position, across from him. The electrifying liquid would be poured into two cups, one for each participant of the drinking. And as the bottle was set on the side with a light clack, Yoruichi would grasp her cup and take a gulp from it the same time Damien took a meager sip. Downing half the liquid in one go, she thumped the table with the base of the mug loud enough to make a knock on the wood. She let a toothy smirk for the fellow Captain, showing she still had her attitude about her, but he was looking elsewhere. The woman would try tracing his line of sight, but it only led outward into the messy hall where his drunken subordinates lied.

He addressed her again, once more calling her 'Shihouin-chan'. Yoruichi heard him out until he quieted, but instead of immediately answering him, she would speak her own thoughts at the moment. "Well, I can see you already know me at least a little bit, since I am a pretty big deal. But, I haven't really introduced myself. I'm the Captain of the Second Division and Commander of the Onmitsukidō, Yoruichi Shihouin. You can call me Yoruichi, just Yoruichi. You don't have to be so formal." She took her cup up to her face again and polished off the rest of the liquor remaining, before setting it down again with the same force as before. There was a second of silence before the purple-haired woman let out an abrupt belch, displaying just the kind of casualness she was used to. And she would not let anybody—save for Soifon—chastise her about the matter. With a smile to match the one Damien gave her, she continued. "In fact, I insist you don't. Now, what's this about opinion gathering? Something you want to know?"

She now held out her empty cup to Damien, obviously wanting him to fill it up again.

Damien blinked realizing the error now, he wasn't educated and Shunsui-san had never corrected him about it. He realized the mistake in his words, he thought Shunsui pry liked the way he spoke more. He turned a bit read laughing softly at himself now."Ah well it seems I am not quite adjusted, I don't know why Shunsui said for me to do this...Thinking I was some big deal, but on to the other issue." He had turned almost red at the sight of the female's sign for closeness between him and Shunsui, they were good friends but that was pushing it for sure. His eyes focused in on her now as he poured that next cup. Refilling his own he'd drank down as he appeared to be losing that grin now for a moment. "Everyone knows of the Flash Goddess Yoruichi, but I have been watching my family..My real name is Damien Crow, Soan was something of a joke to play on someone." Damien waited pausing to let the female catch up with him, he was deeply troubled about his families troubles as he looked down at the reports.

Papers were spread out before where he sat, of Jaeden Crow the Captain of Squad Eight Formally anyways. He'd been removed due to a problem that came across the male of hollowfication that happened during his test, most Captains were made aware of some of the destruction seen. "Now, I founded the Crow clan way back when things were still bad in the Rukongais other areas..But to the point I am wondering if I should step in and aid what's remaining of our broken family from the problems at hand..I used Soan so not to give myself away for a while, it was my masters name. First name of course, but..what to do.." Damien's eyes held a rather firm process of thought, he would help Jaeden and them perhaps, he needed to step in after all. He didn't really know how old Jaeden was, though he could easily tell you he wasn't two thousand. The boy was wet behind the ears for that, he was pry only the bare seven hundred area. He'd studied on him a bit watching the boy with some interest.

Damien drank his cup down, sighing a bit as he looked out towards the cloud. Hearing Akagami speak to him now within his mind, the sword's words seeming to come out with a tone of voice that made his features turn red. He smacked the sword on the hilt as he frowned at it a bit, before laughing softly. Translation the Zanpakutō made a remark about well Yorucihi's amazing chest, perhaps asking for milk and meowing would be cute. Damien had thought this a tad out of line of course.

"Though I believe soon I will need to act regardless, I wanted to let them grow alone to answer your question about why I hid. I felt a parent should teach them to walk, help them when they needed it. "But from there they needed to sit back and observe what was coming. His eyes looked towards the men laying out in the fields now, he sighed rubbing his beard softly with the single arm.

Yoruichi's amber hues would watch the pouring of the liquor into her cup with seemingly great interest, holding her cup steady so that not a single drop was wasted in a mess. Up until the bottle was pulled back upright, she would not move her hand. Yet when he stopped, the cup was sliding back her way and up to her lips. She tipped the cup over and felt the liquid wash over her tongue at the same time the scent hit her nose, enthralling the woman with a sweet taste possessing a hint of apple. Then it would course down her throat with a smooth warmth that was most gratifying. No, she wasn't really a drunkard or liquor enthusiast, but she was not afraid to indulge when it was presented. The experience was wonderful from the taste to the feel, and sometimes the dark-skinned woman couldn't help but take big gulps. She hadn't really known Damien's likes and dislikes, so the flavor of Sake was targeted for Yoruichi's more than anyone else's, thus explaining her enjoyment of the beverage. Only after she had swallowed the lovely liquid did her ears begin picking up what her host was saying, and they were words of another subject. Apparently, they had shifted topics from his recent promotion to Captaincy towards his origins.

Eh, her ears stayed perked and listened intently to his words. After all, she reflected on her position within the Gotei and the Onmitsukido; and the fact of the matter was that she knew really nothing about her fellow Captain standing before her, when it was part of her job. So she would keep her silence and put on a face infinitely more serious than a couple of seconds ago, taking sips of her Sake in occassions of pauses. Back when things were still bad in the Rukongai...? She thought to herself, repeating Damien's words back through her mind as she inquired about them. Now, she was not an expert given her royal lineage, but she knew well enough that the Rukongai was never a decent place to live—it had always been like that. But that thought passed irregardless, and Yoruichi thought not to bring it up for it was inconsequential to the conversation. The importance was the mention of his 'clan', the Crow Clan that he himself had created, to which Yoruichi would bring her free hand up to her chin in ponderance. He was leading up to a question, a question that he would most inevitably want an opinion on. And yet, how could she really give that without really knowing him? The brief rundown was simply not enough to justify a truly helpful response... She could only try her best.

Her right hand persisted around her cup, while her left propped her chin up, and she would address him with her eyes. "Heh, invite me to drink things up and then start talking serious... That's funny," she remarked, trying to get a little laugh out of him. Whether or not she succeeded, her expression would harden as she hummed in consideration. "My opinion, eh? I really can only give you one, and that is to focus on your occupation as Seventh Division Captain." She paused and straightened up in her seat, taking her head off of the palm of her hand. She wanted to let it sink it before she explained the reasoning behind it, for this opinion was not one of her little jokes. "You have just been accepted into one of the most prestigious positions in the entirety of the Soul Society, and you are a Captain of its military force. You should not be distracting yourself with other matters, especially now; they all come in second place to your duties as part of the Gotei 13. That is my opinion." She brought her cup to her lips one last time, draining it of its Sake before placing it back on the table. This time, instead of holding it out to Damien for another refill, she slid it off to the side and placed her hand delicately over the top. "I think if your intent is to keep this conversation sincere, we should hold back on the liquor, don't you think." Here she'd offer a small smile, forming her thin lips into a petite upward curve. She even threw in a slight tilt of the head that caused her violet hair to shift infinitesimally at the discretion of gravity.

The male's chest began to move up and down quickly as the laughed came from his lips, he looked at her now smiling softly as he thought about what she said. He seemed to be lost in this now, setting down his cup as he tried to think about what Shunsui would tell him, perhaps something similar. Shunsui always seemed to just listen, but have some answers. Damien's eyes of black closed now, before opening up once again. The male's visage seemed to of lightened up as he spoke finally, he seemed to of switched back to that cheerful nature that he had. "Suppose nothing to do but do my job, should be interesting to see what it brings...So that's what this Division does, Combat perhaps that's why Shunsui asked me to do so.." Damien seemed to of read the female before or at least notice she was thinking about something he said before this. Perhaps she was confused about the state of the Rukongai, well it was true with the wars finished things were so much calmer.

"About what I said about the Rukongai, back in the days I was but a young Reaper, their were several wars going on between people. Large amounts of numbers, I think sometimes when I went out their were at least one hundred thousand out on the enemies side. We had maybe a tenth of that, those were the days when the answer was simply fight for the better future.." Damien said, as though remembering a memory that he could simply touch. He'd set down the sake bottle now, letting his mind seem to ponder about it. "I lost my left arm in one of the wars, first one after I finished things with my master. I was young and naive, I didn't think things through nor did I do what I should of. This was before I met Shunsui of course though, he opened up my eyes to how big the world is."

Damien was happy he got to see the amazing world that was around, a loud moan could be heard from outside. People were getting up and heading for their bunks in the barracks. Damien laughed a bit watching the state of some men going past. One male for a perfect example, was wearing half his robes. The top half was missing in action somewhere, the man didn't know he walked passed the Female Captain Yoruichi or Damien it seemed. " Ah such good people, they don't hold their liquor very well though it appears. Although I hate to say it, work will begin tomorrow. We got many things to change and get set up, to make them as comfortable with me as possible.":

Damien seemed to being say as though off hand, the male's eyes followed each member as they found their way to the barracks. Some still remained on the front lawn of the place. Damien's hand rubbed his chin, trying to think about somethings to do for now. He wouldn't be sleeping anytime soon, after all he needed to deal with a couple problems. His squad was virtually without seated members, it was hard to say what he could do next. Several things were in need of fixing, but perhaps that would come into place later on.

"So, I forgot where were we at.." Damien looked puzzled and as though he was blinking for a couple moments, the man was a strange one for certain.

His laughter was sort of unexpected; though she made small quips like that, it was unorthodox that someone actually would chuckle at them. Ah, whatever the case it was no ill thing to watch the movements of his chest as he laughed, as the dark-skinned woman Yoruichi most definitely had. She couldn't help it, having such a youthful and well-toned body before her, barely out of arm's reach. When he calmed himself down and began speaking, she wondered just how seriously she was taken. She suspected that he might be just saying things to get her off his back about it, and thus her eyes would squint skeptically at him as her mouth formed a tight line. She would let it pass for now as he chose to move on to another subject as though he had been reading her mind earlier. Not only was it explaining certain things to Yoruichi, but clearing up more of the man's background for her, including how the handsome being lost his arm. It was for a cause, but a pity nonetheless. She would decidedly add on another quip when he finished, wondering if he would laugh at it as well: "It really doesn't seem like Shunsui would be the type to open anyone's eyes up."

At that point in time, a half-naked man walked by the entrance of the building, groaning the entire way. She was thinking on her mind exactly what Damien decided to speak aloud next; these guys did not bode well with liquor. Whereas their Captain still seemed right in his mind, Yoruichi questioned whether any of these officers could count to three at this very moment. It brought her to her own capability, knowing to be very resilient to a state of intoxication. Everybody had their limits, though, and when she hits hers, some crazy things happen. This building would not be standing long if she passed the threshold into drunkenness... These thoughts passed over, fading away into wisps of smoke before becoming nothingness within her mind. She discarded them and came to Damien's inquiry: Where were they at now? Well, they had been talking about his background so far, though that was something he would choose to give and not something she could comfortably ask for; currently out of the question without holding an interrogation. Well, they could continue with what Yoruichi had originally come here to do, which was celebrating. Though, that too seemed to be coming to a close. She twirled her cup around on the table with her finger as she thought, finally deciding to bring up the thing a Captain should know when first starting out.

"So how much do you know about the Captains of the Gotei 13? Generally it is common knowledge to know the heads of the thirteen divisions, but truth be told I'm not sure you would. You came into captaincy from the blue. I've never before seen you among the ranks of the Gotei before, so I'm figuring you must have impressed our Captain Commander greatly to have jumped to the position." Her voice was light, but seriously curious. She wanted him to know she was puzzled with the situation at hand, but wasn't trying to step on any toes and prod into his mind. Whether he explained it or not, the question still was how much he knew on the Captains. She was a veteran, and thus fairly knowledgeable on the members of the military organization of old and new. Excepting, strangely, this devilishly attractive man before her. "I can probably answer most of your questions," she tacked on to the end, trying to legitimately be helpful.

No laugh about what Yoruichi had said about Shunsui, just a slight smirk as he thought about her question. Seeming to think on the ones he did know, before he opened his mouth and spoke again. "I know some basic knowledge on the older Captains around during Aizen and those who were around during your previous time as a Captain that became Vizards like Jaeden-San. My knowledge of the current Captains was learned on last night, I know very little though on most of them. HItsugaya-san and Unohana-san have been around the longest before Hijikata-san...I am not sure if Impressed him or not, Shunsui-san used to tell me I was the most suitable Captain he'd come across.." Damien smiled fondly, remembering those chats he used to have with his dear friend. Truth be told Shunsui-san was the only friend he'd had at that point whom was above him. Someone he could talk to about the things that were bothering him deeply, his smile remained as he began speaking again. His men seemed to of all made their way inside at this point in time.

"Where I came from is an easy thing to explain, I was raised out in the wilds on a Mountain by my teacher. Whom was training me in swordsmanship, to be a warrior. Very rough training, but it was something of a learning experience that now I will always treasure and remember. Being thrown down mountains and going through pain that most don't experience in their life. Yoruichi, tell me what's the state of the military for the Gotei 13. " Damien had forgotten Kenpachi Zeraki, though this was mostly Damien wasn't good with all the names and such. He was a regular Joe, not a guy you would find anywhere but among the people. That was the charisma he held, as for his drinking. Well it would take gallons to make this main feel the sting of being drunk. He was more curious to find out what type of work this Division would be doing. What type of battles would he be used in, Shunsui-san never did explain to him the tasks of the Divisions.

"For example, what does the 7th Divisions Jobs include. The men explained best they could to me, however I want deeper knowledge on what we will be doing. That way I can lead them better, I lost my left arm once when leading without understanding. Would be a shame to lose the right one for the same error." Damien seemed wise, something most people wouldn't of expected this of the man whom was a drinking, he seemed almost tactically sharp and understanding of this situation. He was willing to ask for help to learn somethings that he didn't understand. For example this Divisions Job, he'd heard a bit about it. Though he figured more was to it then whatever they told him, it would be simple enough to just fight. Damien gave a soft smile now as he waited for the female to answer. He seemed to always smile, the reason was that he learned frowning only brought displeasure for him and this was why the smile was worn so much more often then anything else.

Yoruichi closed her eyes and nodded the whole way through his explanation, listening to the couple of names of current Captains during this age of the Gotei 13. Toshiro Hitsugaya, Retsu Unohana, and Toshizo Hijikata, apparently were all he knew; of course including herself based upon his previous words. But the fact that he did not list Xaver Chayton among them was a poor fact indeed, as a man of such history who had been promoted to the Zero Division and came back to take the position of Captain Commander was a great man indeed. If anyone had to know one name on the roster of the Gotei 13, it would be his. She didn't have much time to ponder about it though, as soon came Kyoraku Shunsui's mention, and for the third time Yoruichi found the statement about him hilarious, opening her eyes to him to see if he was serious. She tried to stifle it, but ended up snickering and looking away instead, poorly hiding her reaction to it. The most suitable Captain to Shunsui would be one who would know how to 'chillax' with him, or something along those lines. This time though she would not make any snarky remark about it though, content with the fact that Damien would surely get her gist the moment she made the noise. Realizing she would never succeed in concealing the hysteric, she would look back at the man with a smirk and shake her head. She gestured for him to continue, not sayin a word herself.

The man of Damien's division were starting to file inside, filling the room up with a mixture of drunken ears deaf to all this noise, and listening ears of those who were able to stay sober enough to hear the man out. It was timely that he shifted the subject to his own origins again, as surely the men would want to catch the history of their Captain. He was raised in a hostile environment and not in any school, which would explain not only the reason he was not in any of the records she had gone over, but also told her why he was not so educated. After all, now looking at things in retrospective, he had screwed up the honorifics and his sentence structure was erratic and sometimes hard to understand. He probably only recieved the bare bones education from whoever taught him, sacrificing the rest for acquiring strength in his training. Yoruichi frowned, trying to see into herself as she wondered whether she felt this acceptable or not. It reminded her of Kenpachi Zaraki in a way; the brute stepped up to Captain only because his unconscious level of power naturally rivaled a Captains, thus allowing him to skip the academy as well. As a result, he had never refined his skills, learned any style, nor even acquired his Bankai; he lacked crucial knowledge that he could have acquired in the academy... she just knew it wasn't his style of doing things.

Yoruichi was brought out of her thoughts by the sudden question Damien brought up. At some point he had stopped talking about his past and now inquired of his Division's tasks. After a moment of surprise, the dark-skinned woman would bring her focus down to the table as she took her chin in her hand. She was remembering the specific job the Seventh was charged with, unique from any other division. "Well, the Gotei 13 is the Soul Society's military force, so your primary task is and always will be to serve as soldiers; warriors. Though, I'm sure you already knew that, having trained like you did before getting yourself into this. Now, the Seventh Division specifically... they're the Division of Internal Affairs. I don't know how much your officers have told you, but that means you also have the extra assignment of investigating the inside of Seireitei. Ever since Aizen Sosuke, its been necessary for the Gotei 13 to make sure there are no traitors among us. You'd be reconnoitering your own men, the other officers, and even your fellow Captains, so that there is no corruption among us. If anything suspicious comes up, it is your best interests to report these things to the Captain Commander, who will most inevitably report it to me, considering my own position. We have had civil peace for a long time, but that should not make us lax." The last statement she spoke not only to Damien, but to all those present in the room, scanning from left to right to include everyone in her gaze. Her face was serious.

Then she sighed contendedly, looking back down at the table. She realized she was telling this to a bunch of drunken men, a foolish notion indeed. It would be a conversation for later regarding them, and Damien would probably be the one to give it to them. With a deft flick of her wrist, she sent her cup sliding across the table without causing it to fall over. It would stop right next to Damien's, empty, yet sporting residue of the liquor as one would expect. The Shihouin herself would stand up from her previously cross-legged seat at the table, now looking down at Damien. One of her hands was placed on her hips, and she offered the other to him to help him to his feet. Whether or not he took it, got up by himself, or didn't stand whatsoever, Yoruichi would finish it up regardless. "Well, it was nice to get to know you, Damien Soan, but it looks to me as if you have a lot of children to tuck in," she said with a crooked smile as she gestured to those of his squad present. After a light laugh at her own joke, she would continue. "I think it's best if I head off now, though. Any last requests before I'm off?"
