» Personality: Squall is what one would call a, simply put, a loner. He isn't too fond of being around people and prefers to get by on his own. As such, he usually rejects any attempts to befriend him and generally seems cold. He finds working with others to be a bother. He also seems to take an allies support lightly, generally taking attempts to help him as a nuisance.
This doesn't mean he doesn't care about other people at all. Generally, he says even to himself he doesn't care. When he has a job to do, he gets it done. Yet he sees the value in people's lives. He does protect those who are defenseless and don't deserve to die. When he has comrades at his side, despite saying they are a pain, he will fight and try to keep them alive.
It is not entirely impossible for one to break through this wall Squall puts up around himself. If someone really tried to put effort into it, and was able to do this despite his attitude, he will come to consider them friends. His attitude is still extremely rough, but he won't be nearly as cold as he is to others who mean nothing to him. He does care for his friends lives, and will fight to keep them alive.
Squall is generally one to train a lot. Sometimes he does this in seclusion. Friend or stranger, he is willing to do a spar to hone his skills. He cannot complete his missions if he isn't at his best. He will take training very seriously, and if someone isn't careful, they could end up injured against him.
Squall's priorities are first those he comes to consider a friend, and second his duties. Usually they will not interfere with one another, and there isn't a problem. Yet if a friend is in trouble, he will throw away his duties, and rush to their aid. Although, if a friend chooses a path that goes against Squalls ideal and faction, and he can't somehow talk them out of it, he is prepared to fight them, to the death if need be.
Finally, Squall does not see the concept of "good and evil". To him, they are just two different sides with different viewpoints, and both believe they are right. Along those lines, Squall moves through life in a way he considers to be right.

» Background: Squall was born to a mother and father he would never get to know. He was born in Karakura Central, in a rather nice part of the city. However, only mere days after his birth, his parents both died in a fire. He was the only survivor from the family. Due to this, he was placed in an orphanage. He was actually only with a handful of other children, about 5 others.
As they grew up they were like family. Many actually looked up to Squall as a big brother. They were together for years, yet Squall doesn't remember it at all. They were separated, and shortly after Squall discovered he had a connection to some sort of power. Little did he know at the time, this power would cost him his memory. After a few years of using this power for its various purposes as he went to school and among other things, his memories of his childhood left him.
The years had been spent training, as he went to schools meant for the training of fighters and mercenaries. Without his childhood memories, the training slowly made him separate from people. He became a loner, and he didn't really like mixing up in other people's business. Now, at the age of 17, Squall has left his most recent training school. What path he takes remains to be seen.

» Natural Attributes:
Gunblade Expert: Squall has mastered the use of a weapon known as the gunblade. The weapon is basically a sword with a revolver handle on the end. The purpose of this handle is to increase the power of his strikes. When the trigger is pulled, the entire blade vibrates at high speeds, causing it to deal more damage to his target. It is an extremely difficult weapon to wield properly, and very few can do so effectively, as it is an unorthodox weapon. He has learned not only to use this weapon, but to wield it to the point of being able to use some crazy combo attacks easily. Many of his combos involve quick lunges and repeated pulling of the trigger, being able to seriously dish out damage if someone doesn't avoid them.
» Chi Powers:
Guardian Force: Quite simply, the way Squall uses his Chi is almost like linking some unforeseen entity to his being, allowing him to do feats of strength and magic. However, this power comes at the price of his long term memory. Over long periods of time, if there is nothing to remind him of it, things will vanish from his mind. If he is somehow reminded they will come back, but otherwise they are gone. However, he can remember things as far back as a year or two easily, and as long as he remains in contact, he will remember people. If there is some event someone doesn't want him to forget, then they best remind him of it every so often. If he doesn't want to forget something, he generally writes it down somewhere.
Magic: Basically, Squall has access to a wide array of spells through his Guardian force. By channeling his Chi, he can use abilities akin to Kidō or other forms of magic. Each spell generally isn't tied down to 1 level, sometimes having 3 or more, with higher levels being stronger.
Thunder Barrett: With this spell Squall holds out his hand and charges energy into it. After a moment (or if he chooses a few moments, for the strongest is if it is charged for 10 seconds, but a minimum charge of 1) he fires out a blast of electricity from his hand. It is generally a wave of pure electricity that comes forth (stream of electricity, but holds like a byakurai. It stays for a moment from start to end, then disappears all at once. Though the damage will be less piercing and more like impact). This is the weakest Thunder Barrett type spell, and causes light damage.
Blizzard Barrett: Squall holds out his hands in front of him and charges energy into them. His hand begins to seem very cold, and the air around it can be seen due to the temperature difference. After a charge from 1 to 10 seconds (longer charge means stronger attack) a shard of ice is released at high speeds towards the target. At the lowest charge it is small and somewhat like a rock in shape. At the highest, the shard is quite sharp. This is the weakest Blizzard Barrett type spell, and causes only light damage.
Flame Barrett: Squall holds out his hands in front of him and charges energy into them. It has a charge time from 1 to 10 seconds, the longer the stronger. The air around his hand begins to crackle as small sparks rise up. He creates a small fireball and launches it out. It moves fairly quickly, and causes light damage.
Special Techs: Squall uses his energy in another manner to create several powerful techniques which he can use on his foes.
Renzokuken: This is more or less a short string of attacks in which Squall rushes in and basically tries to slice a person into little slivers. He basically swings his sword more forcefully than normal, and tends to channel his chi energy into his blade to cause small explosions when he slashes into an enemy, small and more for extra impact damage. Since he puts extra effort into this than normal combo's, it also uses more energy than usual. (he simply uses more energy to go a little faster and hit a little harder for a short (one post) period, with a 3 post cool down)
Rough Divide: Squall takes his Chi energy and charges it into his body. He begins to glow a bright blue all around as the energy gathers. After a few moments, Squall goes flying towards his opponents at insanely high speeds, with his blade glowing with so much energy that it looks like a small beam is coming off of it. If the opponent cannot dodge this attack (and this attacks speed is far beyond Squalls norm) he will swing his blade as he passes, causing a large cut and having force to possibly slam his opponent into (or through) any objects behind them. (3 post cool down)
Fated Circle: Squall takes his Chi and charges it into his body. He moves in on his opponent and surrounds his body with a strange circle. It is red, with red feather-like objects floating around in it. It also has various small glowing orbs of energy around it (they don't deal damage). This circle *which can surround him vertically or horizontally, and only extends up to 6 feet out from him) has the special effect of canceling out magic. Any "energy" type attacks that come in contact with it, are completely dismantled. If an opponent is strong enough, however, their energy attacks could break through, albeit weakened (though foes much stronger than Squall won't even be affected). This circle lasts for about a second before the entire area around Squall (in a six foot radius all around) erupts into an explosion. The moment the explosion goes off, the magic canceling is no longer effective. However, the explosion may be able to deflect some of the energy if there is any still coming at him.
