• Appearance Description:
Dansen while wearing a usually shihakusho has it loose on his person so as to make it seem less informal and also due to his feeling that the piece of clothing is to restricting for his tastes. While he does wear his outfit improperly what can be seen with the Shinigami in general is the a slim and rather toned body that has seems almost anemic and pale at first glance but is mostly due to Dansen very rarely having time to work on his tan.

His hair is the color of darkness and contrasts with his rather bright purple eyes. Standing at 6'0 and only weighing about 95 lbs the layabout Shinigami seems rather non-threatening due to his form but even so his shihakusho hides another part of his story, the outfit is covered in cuts and damage mostly from battle as well as being rather unkempt most of the time.

• Personality: Dansen for all purposes is as lazy as most people come. He dislikes having to do more than anything than sleep and rest while eating or drinking lazily, it is because of this that his attitude is seen to be extremely lax and for the most part to a fault. His actions deem him rather unmotivated to the point he enjoys shirking his responsibilities to instead do anything else leading to the gaining of ire from others.

One thing Dansen may actually do however is fight when it comes down to the wire. This is mostly out of his own enjoyment of a bit of physical training but this trait too has a thread of laziness as Dansen dislikes having to go and fight for extended periods and wishes to end fighting quickly so he can get back to all of the things he would usually do.

However under his lazy exterior hides the heart of someone who does what right for the right reasons, he maybe lazy but Dansen will never let down those who need his aid when times get tough. Though he will still complain like he hates it though.

Dansen even though he has such an apathetic view on the world and also wishes to protect all those he now has a responsibility to whether it be his Shinigami allies or the souls of the innocent that the Shinigami are dedicated to protect and because of this Dansen will defeat any opponent as quickly as possible in the protection of those he is sworn to protect.

• History: Dansen was born in the human world as the eldest son of a broken family, his position was that of protector since he was old enough to hit back at his parents who regularly blamed he and his younger sister for all of their problems. It was a job that led to Dansen's rather apathetic lifestyle not wanting to be involved with what could make him have to try and excel. His only lot in life was his little sister's big brother but soon that no longer had much meaning.

His reaction upon hearing about the accident that took the life of his sister was the most shocked that Dansen in his living time had he never looked it but he was devastated more than anyone upon the funeral coming around he never cried but his night were now spent walking the streets aimlessly without purpose or anyone for him to truly love. It was then that his life changed as after a month after the accident Dansen saw his sister once more. It was frightening and also joyous, by some miracle or invention by god his sister was saved, or so he thought.

As he ran to her shouting out for her to respond he felt a cold apprehension come just before getting to her. He saw her eyes and realized that they were dead and what was even more terrifying was the sight of a monster appearing behind the young girl. It had seemed that a Hollow had used the hallucination of his sister to attract him and steal his soul, Dansen had never seen a hollow before but due to his own introverted lifestyle he had simply denied his own gift at seeing other supernatural things even though his spirit was surprisingly strong for a human.

The next part of Dansen's story was a blur even for him the beast attacked dispelling the figure of the girl and Dansen could not resist. As he lay on the floor bleeding and ready to be consumed however his luck turned and a Shinigami came upon him and defeated the hollow. This was to late though Dansen's lifeforce left him but luckily this was not to be the end of his story.

After coming to the Rukongai Dansen was soon found to be rather skilled in both brawling with a sword using his quick style along with his small frame and also his Spiritual Pressure which was enough for him to be allowed into the academy and trained as a Shinigami.

Now many years later Dansen finds himself in the Gotei 13 with a laid-back attitude and a rather sketchy work-ethic due to his past, but now he has a chance to protect more than just himself, now he could protect souls along the way.

Dansen walked with letter in hand to the disclosed location, his new Sensei would be waiting there most likely and with them his new teammates. His first impressions on his Sensei.... He was an idiot. Not just an idiot he was an idiot with a god complex, the man already seemed to be a mismatch for the boy, his dramatic speech at the beginning of the Spring festival was more than enough evidence to show the teenage Genin that. What's worse was that he was a from a clan of self-important Genjutsu specialist, Dansen had never been fond of the art of illusions this came to him even worse when he found he had a greater proficiency in them than even Ninjutsu. Still this was a single stepping stone in what could be his progression that would further his skills.

The boy walking lazily towards the theatre had not tried too hard to impress, he had not given much thought to what he would need so he simply left with essential. The Genin wore his regular attire but with his jacket that he usual kept buttoned loose as the surprisingly hot spring weather had got to the young man who needed to cool down. Not much else would be noticeable on Dansen's person, his headband hung loosely on his belt as it always did, covered in a markings of dust and the scratches of animals that had tried to claw at the young boy with the head band over his face sleeping with it to block the sun. The only thing that he had brought with him was a Kunai holster; he packed light in order to make sure he was ready for an surprise the overly-flamboyant Chuunin had in store for his wards. Dansen did not move to quickly to get to his destination, he had plenty of time to get there and what every his Sensei had to show them was probably less coherent that even his rambling speech before at the selection ceremony. What Dansen was more interested in at this point instead of his teacher was his team-mates.

They were both younger than him but both seemed to hold a certain something that made them uncommon compared to some that Dansen had seen in the village. "Uncommon is good, shows they've got some history." The boy thought this to himself when he began to stop procrastinating, wandering around the village and instead got back to his journey towards the Theatre, his first team-mate was called Sanjiro, and he seemed to have something strange about him when he discovered he was a part of a team. It was like he had not expected it but Dansen could not really get a read on him, he was a mystery at this point "Of course he is we haven't even met..." The Genin smiled at his own thinking, he didn't know this guy but what seemed most prominent from his first glance was the way the other Genin held himself. He seemed to have a sense of strength, something that very few seemed to have but the way he walked and acted it held what Dansen would call 'pride', maybe it was his status as a Ninja that gave off this feeling but there was something more... It seemed to hang around the presence of the other boy, a constant feeling of... regret?

It made him wonder as he thought to his other team-mate. Kurea, this one was a girl and she was the youngest as well she looked almost unreal with the way she looked, it was like she was less of a human and more doll-like it was strange but though she was the youngest but the way she acted seemed more mature than what the boy had expected from people of her age. It was interesting to see a young person not acting their own age and hopefully the girl would contribute along with Sanjiro, otherwise they could both stay out of Dansen's way.

The boy had found himself staring at the theatre after a few minutes of walking; the destination still did baffle him, the theatre? Why would you give directions to the theatre unless... The boy knew the man was dramatic but this would be too much. He entered unannounced and looked at the tall man at centre stage, really not the first thing Dansen wanted to see when as he came in, but the theatre was dark and he could not see if there were any other attendants as the lights soon went out and the only light was focused on the actor on the stage... And then he began talking. It seemed to be a monologue that was improvised by the actor and made as much sense to Dansen to any other artistic piece, he was not that interested in theatre he enjoyed a music number more, but from what he guessed that might have been good?

Then his realization came on like a lightning bolt, the actor was... Joushi Ryougi. The astounded boy sighed and added a new comment in his head to what he thought of his teacher.

"No, he's not an idiot... He's positively and absolutely a complete and utter moron."

The unimpressed boy moved towards one of the stalls and put his feet up on one of the seats in front of him and waited for his new sensei to get to his point.

Okay I see two problems with this app. The first is the personality isn't long enough. It needs to be at least 10 sentences, I only counted 7. Try and go a bit deeper into his personality. Is there anything he has other than laziness and kind heart? Any other quirks? Just try and extend it somehow.

Second, your sealed Zanpakutō ability. I don't honestly know what exactly he is doing. How does it make his attacks hard to judge? Just a bit more detail so I can understand what he is doing better.

Edited and took out the Zanpakutō ability because I realized that it does not make to much sense in the long run or in battle.
