• Personality: Repede is a loyal dog and friend to those he trusts. He often finds that humans tend to think he is much weaker than he appears. this causes him to give the 'cold shoulder' to most humans. But a few reconize him for what he is. A Dog Knight.

Repede is intelligent enough to understand the human languages. Often finding a few humans who he likes for their willingness to listen and try to understand. Anyone he likes is allowed to pet him, though even some he does he walks away from. He's also very... un-trusting. Repede takes the time to get to know the other races around him. He always back checks stories and doesn't leave anything out.

Repede takes pleasure in scaring those who are afraid of dogs. He can even be heard laughing in his own way. But take heed, he is territorial. He doesn't like it when people think they can come into his place of stay without permission.

• History:

Repede is one of the few animals born with a soul that may pass on into the Soul Society. Born as a family owning a dojo that trains in the ways of the blade, Repede always carried a mini dagger around his neck on his collar. as a puppy he was often found carrying a spoon or bone in his mouth as if it was a toothpick. He trained under his master who saw him wielding a dagger in his teeth, fighting off other dogs.

It was surprising to the man. He set out to teach Repede the style of his family. But one day.... Repede found a hollow attacking his master. He fought and fought before a shinigami appeared. Zen was his name. He utterly annihilated the hollow before performing a Kon-So on Repede and his Master.

For the past fourty years, Repede has been a Shinigami. The lone dog Shinigami. He is an aspiring Captain of the Gotei. Repede now saves many from hollows, as his savior Zen had done so long ago.

As a dog and even more, Repede can see over seven hundred different colors compared to human's 260+. Repede's vision is greater than any human. He can see up to ten miles away. Even more so, he has 360 degrees field of vision due to surgical implant of Kanda Yuu's right eye.

• The Byakugan (白眼; "White Eye")

The Byakugan is a bloodline trait within the Hyuga Clan that is possessed at birth. Those born within this clan by blood have almost completely white and blank eyes as the pupil is a slight grey outline. When activated, the user's pupils seemingly glow with a fire-like white aura and the veins leading into the eye sockets bulge out noticeably.

The first and foremost used ability of the Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for up to three blind spots at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra, the center spinal cord and the tip top of the skull. These spots while small in margin if noticed by an enemy could spell death due to possibility of not sensing an attack from these areas of lapse.

The second ability is being able to see through solid objects(except things like Seki Seki), as well as some degree of telescopic sight. The distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from person to person, and can be improved by further use of the Byakugan, training and also by improving one's Mentle Deduction.

The third and greatest ability is to be able to view someones spiritual energy and spiritual pressure that flows through their body. Yet this is also a double edged sword. When fighting with the Byakugan, someone like Kenpachi Zaraki who releases his power completely by removing his eyepatch would cause such an amazing flash of light from the sudden spiritual pressure and energy that the user of Byakugan could fine their eyes blinded temporarily and bleeding from the intense pain and light it will bring. These effects also can be brought about by the use of Bankai or an equivalent such as Resereccion. While a user may close their eyes to avoid such a flash, if they have power equivlent to Kenpachi Zaraki or Spiritual Powers that burn brightly in normal vision, opening their eyes for too long would cause the blindness anyway.

On the bright side, no pun intended, one can train their eyes to not be effected for long by the blindness or have trained themselves to fight without their eyes in emergency. Yuu Kanda is currently the only one who could possibly not be affected much if at all by any of these setbacks due to his level of use being the top dog so to speak. One would train by sudden exposure to a massive amount of spiritual power right before their eyes.

Another issue is that during use of the Byakugan, all your senses combine and if you cannot see them you cannot hear, taste, feel, sense or smell them. This is the most grave murderous set back of the Byakugan that may be dealt with through extensive use and training, but the only way to get around this would be to close ones eyes. Thus, opening all your senses again. You may also deactivate the Byakugan by using a hand seal consisting of slapping your hands together in prayer form. The same seal activates the Byakugan when you push spiritual energy and pressure into your eyes.

Shunpo Expert:

Though not particularly versed in its various techniques, Repede has become proficient enough of the technique itself to keep up and even surprise high-level Shinigami with his speed alone. Zen has taught him most of his abilities, Shunpo included and assists him in training it weekly. He's been able to keep up with Vice-Captain level shinigami without Shikai, and Captain level shinigami when using Shikai. How he trains is by Zen throwing steaks far as hell and making repede wait ten seconds to Shunpo after them. He's even able to Shunpo backwards, his four legs allowing higher speed and maneuverability.

Dagger Master:

Repede has mastered the dagger during his training from his previous master. In light of this, he now has a dagger attached to his tail in case of attacks from behind. His mastery is rivaled by Captain level Shinigami, most shinigami below third seat find it near impossible to keep up in basic sparring and even using shunpo. His Byakugan only enhances his ability to block by allowing him to see all attacks around him with relative ease. His reaction time is quite amazing with the Byakugan. Having virtually no blind spot and high flexability allows for blocking, attacking and straight up battle.

• Release & Description: Repede cries out with a load roar that can be heard for miles. Proceeding to smash the blade against the ground. The fragments then reform on his fangs making them as sharp as scalpels then a blade reforms in his mouth, the same blade as his sealed Zanpakutō but with a black edge.

• Shikai Abilities:

Fang!

When Repede slashes his blade, it releases a highly condensed spiritual energy along the entire blade, magnifying the slash attack and then flies forward. This slash takes the form of a crescent moon or in the shape of a wolves' fang. Repede can also fire this attack in multiple smaller waves when he controls it to release smaller portions, as if firing a barrage.
