Personality: KOS-MOS is much like her Contracter. She is an automaton in the form of a Guardian Beast. Thus, she can not express emotions as she does not have emotions. Unlike her Contracter, however, she does not have perfect logical thinking. She has perfect order following, though. Any order her Contracter gives her, she follows to every subliminal message and then some. She is always near her Contracter, and always has her neuro-link open to her Contracter. She never initiates combat without getting her Contracter's approval first. This even means self-defense, as she will only run and attempt to block attacks. Natural Abilities

Natural Techinques: KOS-MOS has enhanced strength, as she is completely artificial. Her skeleton is entirely metal, and because of that she has enhanced durability as well.

MAGI Connection: KOS-MOS is connected to the Magi Quantum Supercomputer System. Her Artificial Response Intelligence (ARI) mainframe is based in here. This means that if her body is destroyed, her mind [memories and other knowledge] is safe.

Body Replication: KOS-MOS's body, while expensive, is capable of being remade. It requires the destruction of the MAGI to destroy KOS-MOS completely.

Untainted Abilities:
.50 Alaska 8-shot Revolver: A large-bore handgun, capable of penetrating heavy armor. Harold Johnson necked out the .348 Winchester case to accept a .510" diameter bullet, and Harold Fuller developed the barrel, marrying a .50 caliber barrel to an old Winchester Model 1886 rifle. Since the rifle was designed for use on Alaska’s great bears, Johnson cut 720-grain (47 g) boat-tail .50 BMG bullets in half, seating the 450-grain (29 g) rear half upside down in the fireformed .50-caliber case. It didn’t take Johnson long to find out that the 450-grain truncated shaped “solid” would shoot through a big brown bear from any direction.
Positron Cannon: Shoulder-mounted. Capable of firing rounds into low Earth-orbit, though the power of the shots diminishes to being ineffective at such a long range. Not a very mobile weapon, as relies on an external power cable to power its function. It still uses a finite amount of ammunition, about 8 rounds.

Unleashed

Unleashed Appearance: No overall change.
Unleashed Abilities: She retains all of her previous form's weapon summons.
Twin Triple-Tri-Barrel Minigun: The main weapon of her Unleashed form. It is a pair of triple, tri-barreled gatling cannons. They have a caliber of 30mm, making them ideal for anti-aircraft or for mowing down swarms of opponents. They have a firing ratio of 8,000 rounds per minute per gun. This means per system, she fires 24,000 rounds per minute. She can keep up continuous fire for three posts with a one-post recharge.
Phase-Transfer Cannon: Phase transition is the change from one physical state to another. Given the scientific explanations, Phase Transition Weaponry seems to be a very powerful form of energy emission in the form of powerful plasma beams this likely refers to the direct conversion of mass to energy according to Einstein theory which eventually led to atomic weaponry. This would be therefore similar to what happens when anti-matter comes into collision with its corresponding matter resulting in the release of massive amounts of energy. She can fire it once per thread with a one-post charge.

Beast

Beast Abilities: She retains all of her previous forms' weapon summons, though upscaed to work with God of War mode. Their power is also upscaled 3 times.
God of War: VARIA's final ace in the hole, God of War mode. God of War mode is composed of a bulky white body with red armor (called "vestido" (Spanish for "dress"), two cross-shaped legs and four cross-shaped wings; its overall height is 10 meters. Its head is considerably small compared to the rest of the body. She can release it once per thread.


Pulse: KOS-MOS can "pulse" the wings, which house thrusters. This creates a heavy shockwave-like attack. She can use this once every other post.

Past & Roleplay Sample

Character Background: KOS-MOS was designed alongside VARIA to be the security system for the Sugiura. She was designed to assist VARIA, and to be a combination of an artillery platform and a supply system. KOS-MOS was designed in the West and North, while VARIA was designed in the East. KOS-MOS's appearance was designed to show that she was not organic, unlike VARIA. The basis of her appearance was from a sketch by a child from the North.
From the moment the Sugiura decided that security was needed, the project to design the two mechanical Sugiura was underway. KOS-MOS was finally finished around 13,000 years ago, though she was finished after VARIA by three months. The contract was already in place when KOS-MOS awoke for the first time. She immediately knew about her Contracter, and vice-versa. She wasn't field tested for another 200 years, as they were still fine-tuning her and VARIA's basic systems.
Then the time came for field testing. As an artificial Guardian Beast, KOS-MOS already had all three forms. Her firearms were incredibly powerful. So powerful, that another specially-made testing range was constructed because she exceeded the limitations on the original. KOS-MOS was finally approved for field use around 8,000 years ago. During this time, the Sugiura completed the MAGI system. KOS-MOS's Artificial Response Intelligence was booted up at full power. And now, she patrols alongside VARIA as her support system.
