The first and foremost thing to keep in mind about Creed is that he is downright insane. He is a bloodthirsty murderer who kills as naturally as he breathes and enjoys battles to no end. He would slay anyone whom he dislikes at the drop of a hat. Even his own followers can end up dead within seconds, should they disobey him or simply cease to please him. The sufferings he endured as a child caused him to hate the entire world but he doesn't seek revenge or anything like this, he simply hates and kills.
Creed is also deeply narcistic and megalomaniac. He cares about nothing but himself, and he considers himself superior to everyone in every way. As such, he wants to become immortal in order to remain perfect forever. Creed considers that he is the only one right in the world; he is convinced that those who disagree with him simply don't understand the truth, and he never hesitates to eliminate any contradiction. When things doesn't go the way he wants, he fabricates absurd explanations that follow his way, instead of questioning himself. This delusion is so strong that he doesn't understand why people such hold a grudge against him. Nothing infuriates him more than a persistent opposition. However, deep down in his heart, he knows when he cannot bend a will to his own, and this only infuriates him more.

Creed is obsessed with talent. He regards regular people as mere trash, and he despises even more people who have done nothing to deserve a political influence that they take for granted. Creed wants a world where only gifted people who obey him can live, and plans to select them one by one, killing anyone whom he would deem unworthy. To put it simply, he wants the entire world to revolve around him and to fit his demented ideals of perfection. He doesn't only care about fighting skills though, and he considers any talent to its rightful worth. But he only regards his followers as pawns, and if he values their strength and listen to their advices, he rarely considers their objections.

Despite all this, Creed is a very charismatic and refined person. He enjoys luxury and he lives in opulent manors and castles. When he interacts with people he deems worthy, even if they are enemies, he acts with smiling and courteous manners. Creed is also clever and knowledgeable; He knows what he needs, he knows how to use it and he rarely underestimates his opponents, only making his move only when he has all cards in hand, or where he has at least one backup plan. Yet, in spite of his caution, he is certain of his superiority and when confronted to an opponent he admires, he may reveal his weaknesses to make things more interesting.

A special infusion of reiatsu and divine intervention into Creed's body. With this blessing, he no longer ages and he can recover from any minor injury (cuts, scrapes, bruises, gashes, etc) in the blink of an eye. Larger wounds, such as severed limbs or wounds that would normally be fatal, take longer than an instant, taking a post or two for severed limbs, and three posts for mortal wounds. This seems to make him rather unkillable, however, there's a loop around this. While he would call himself "God", if one were to simply damage his brain, it would be quite possible to kill him through that, as brain matter is the only thing that God Bless cannot regenerate.

Augmented Physical Strength:
Creed's natural physical strength is nothing to sneeze at, as he's able to carve apart large sections of earth, concrete, and steel, with merely his bare hands.

Augmented Speed:
Creed's natural speed rivals that of a shunpo, allowing him to move around an opponent as if using a steps technique, when he really isn't expending any spiritual energy whatsoever.

High Spiritual Senses:
Creed may not say he senses you. Creed may not acknowledge that he senses you as you creep up behind him. But trust me, he senses you. Creed's sense of spiritual detection is uncanny, allowing him to see through illusions and detect those who hide themselves, even if they lower their spiritual pressure. However, one who is especially skilled at hiding their pressure, or one who, for whatever reason, doesn't give off spiritual pressure or a spiritual signature, would easily be able to bi-pass this.

Master Swordsman:
Creed's ten thousand years of honing his skills and his natural talent have made him one of the most prominent users of the katana. His abilities only highlight this, as his speed and strength allow him to add onto this, creating a web of damage that becomes nigh ridiculous.

Other Weapons: His katana, forged to be the perfect size and shape for him. Creed uses this not only in normal combat, but as a springboard for all his other abilities while using his power.

Untainted

Untainted Appearance:

Creed's first form has no visible changes to his being. The only change is in his katana, which seems to disappear completely, apart from the hilt and tsuba.

Untainted Abilities:

Imagine Blade:

Creed's power is called Imagine Blade. (Sometimes called Phantom Blade.) By concentrating his reiatsu on the hilt of his sword, he can create a blade made of materialized reiatsu. This blade is invisible to the naked eye, and while Creed can materialize it to be seen if he wishes, he normally does not do so. The most productive way to combat him in this form is to be able to read his combat movements, which is extremely difficult unless the opponent is on his level. His blade is sharpened to a point where it can cut through nearly anything. The reason for this is that when said reiatsu comes in contact with a surface, Creed takes a mental reading of the thickness and toughness of that surface based on the resistance the blade meets when it hits, able to tune the sharpness of his blade to adjust and try and cut through it on the second strike, all in the course of a blink. This is not, however, always successful, and certain defenses cannot be penetrated at all by it, as they use techniques that don't rely on outer skins. Along with this, Creed can fire reiatsu-projectiles from the blade, in the shape of the blade, even if it's invisible, giving him his own personal cero of sorts.

When in his Untainted form, Creed's speed and strength raise slightly. He is now able to rip entire levels out of buildings bare handed, and could stab through 5 inches of solid steel. Instead of being able to use a step technique, Creed's natural speed increases past his normal, surpassing that of your average shinigami's shunpo.

The Imagine Blade, at this stage, looks like a huge scimitar with a demonic face. The sword is (fortunately) no longer invisible, but it is still linked to Creed's mind and it gains a limited sentience that enables it to move by its own accord. The Imagine Blade Level 2 sychronizes with Creed's emotions, smiling and laughing according to Creed's humour.

Unleashed Abilities:

In Imagine: Stage 2, Creed's blade gains several traits that make it more potent than his Untainted state.

The first of these is that his blade now gains an "afterimage" of its own. Every time it slices, it copies into three "projections" of itself, along with the real blade. Of course, the projections do absolutely no damage, but they're a possible distraction, as it's randomized which of the four blades will be the real one. For example, on one occurance, the first blade that slices might be real, followed by three after images. On the second, the real blade might be the third blade in the series. It's completely randomized, and even Creed doesn't know until he's swung.

The second of these is that it can be extended, (up to 80 meters long) at a whim, extending and retracting back and forth within a second.

Another, though more strange, is the mouth on his blade. Not only can it bite opponents, able to cause possible bleeding because of this, but the mouth can also eat projectiles, up to a Hadō 54 in strength, before spitting them back out at the opponent. They don't gain any strength, they're just returned. However, it can only devour said projectiles if they hit the blade directly, if they hit Creed head on, this is null and void.

The last is a Smash attack that Creed gains. By shoving the end of his blade into the ground, he can send a wave of energy up from the ground, starting about two feet tall and slowly climbing, gaining height and strength as it goes along. It will gain 10 feet of height every 5 meters, and will also gain about a cero's strength with each height gain. It can travel a maximum distance of 50 meters, totaling 102 feet tall, worth 10 ceros, by its expiration. This attack is about as wide as a small house, gaining no width as it climbs.

As far as natural attributes, one will find that Creed's strength has improved further, allowing him to lift buildings with one hand, and toss them quite a distance, possibly clearing cities. One would also find that his normal speed has reached a point where his natural movements register around Mach 1, creating a mini sonic-boom whenever he moves, potentially causing confusion in enemies, or possibly hearing loss in much weaker enemies.

Beast

It is in this form that major changes to Creed's appearance take place. He now appears as handsome and frail-looking at the same time, lean-built, and gaining an inch in height. He is light-skinned with pointy ears, golden amber eyes and knee-length silver hair with short bangs. He has a Prussian blue crescent moon on his forehead that can be seen beneath his bangs. There are two magenta stripes on each cheek and on the sides of his wrists, as well as one magenta stripe on each of his eye lids. His armor includes a spiked pauldron that covers his left shoulder attached to the upper section of his cuirass. Both his armor and his long flowing sash have a decided Chinese influence, as opposed to the customary Japanese armor and sash. His Kimono is mostly white with a red and white cherry blossom flower crest at the collar and sleeves,showing that he sees himself as royal. He wears Sashinuki Hakama, (a type of traditional flowing Japanese pants), which are gathered at the ankles producing the "ballooning" effect. His footwear consists of flat pointed ankle-high boots (instead of sandals), also reminiscent of Mainland influence. On his right shoulder is a white object that appears to have a fluffy appearance. No one really knows what it is.

In this form, Creed fuses with his sword, which becomes part of his right arm. (In fact, Creed still holds the hilt of his sword and the reiatsu it produces envelopps his arm under a solid shape.) He also gains a demonic arm, which spawns out of his back in the center.

Beast Abilities:

Going just by natural abilities, Creed's strength and speed skyrocket. His physical strength alone is enough to crumble several buildings with a swing of his sword. His attacks will bring extreme pain if they hurt to any who don't have at least decent durability, as his fist could probably crack sekiseki at this point.

Speed-wise, his natural speed actually lowers, hovering around the same shunpo-type speed that he had before release. However, he gets a steps technique titled simply: "Way of the Demon." This step technique sends him hypersonic, as he is able to cross vast distances in the blink of an eye, sometimes being able to make an attack before one weaker than him would know that he had moved.

As for his Imagine Blade, Not only Creed can extend and distort it in Stage Three, he is now able to increase its size and to reshape it into other melee weapons. The same goes with his demonic arm (minus the melee weapons and reshaping.)

Creed wields this arm like a normal one, but one with a strength way over that of Creed's regular body, surpassing that of a nuclear explosion in force. Creed mostly uses it to grab things and propels himself, to grab his opponents and toss them violently on the ground, or to throw large pieces of rubble. Creed's attacks create so much pressure that blocking them becomes difficult, and even if you dodge, you may feel moderate pain from the pressure as they pass. He can also synchronize the sword strikes and the arm attacks, so that he can hit his foes with one, right after they dodged the other, potentially.

In this stage, the imagine blade can let loose black-red blasts of pure energy, spawned from deep corruption and undying hatred, the essence of Creed's own soul. These blasts compare to Gran Rey Cero in strength, able to be devastating if used correctly.

His sword also has another trick. If it does slice through the skin, it will slow regenerative capability significantly. If he manages to slice off a limb, the blade will null regenerative capability entirely by using its own reiatsu to negate the effect. If an opponent has a defense against this, or a counter against it, then this becomes rather useless.

His final blow is a doozy. Raising his blade skyward, Creed's Imagine Blade can become roughly the size of a house, made of pure purple-blue energy, creating an aura around him, charging for one post. When he does this, he may then LAUNCH said energy forward, at twice the speed of sound. Said energy will create a blast upon impact roughly equal to to fifty million metric tons of TNT, the equivilant of a multi-stage hydrogen bomb. Said explosion will create a fireball reaching up to 34,000 feet in the air. This attack is so draining and devestating that Creed will have no choice but to retreat afterward, utterly drained of all energy.

Past & Roleplay Sample

Character Background:

Creed was born as the undesired son of a single, alcoholic mother who intensely abused him. She constantly insulted him, hit him and blamed him for everything wrong in her life. He later ended up living in the streets, picking "food" in bins and being beaten down without reason by local enforcers. All these ill treatments drove Creed to insanity and gave him a fierce hatred towards the entire world. However, despite this, he grew to want to help, opting to eliminate those who did evil rather than become evil himself.

Some time later, Creed was taken in the ranks of Chronos: a secret organization that plotted to take over the world's economy and politics from the shadows through rumors, and undermining kings and emperors. There, he was trained to become one of Chronos' countless erasers. (assassins) Over the years, Creed developed a swordplay beyond human level, and became one of Chronos' top-class erasers. Therefore, the Elders of Chronos considered making him join the Chrono Numbers. This group was Chronos' elite brigade, a group of thirteen supreme erasers, each one of them being unmatchably talented in the use of a specific sort of weapon. During this time, Creed's kill count rose. Countless evil-doers fell, and while his intent started good, by the end Creed's interest in the kills became more.. personal. More for revenge.. When it came time to decide on his membership into the Chrono Numbers, Creed's bloodlust, insanity and desire for power were (rightfully) deemed too dangerous. For this, he was eliminated, executed by stoning.

While the end of his life was clouded by insanity and hatred, his early legacy was pure, full of the intent to genuinely help. Because of this, he was granted entrance into.. another life. A life.. as a Guardian Beast. When he awoke in the Guardian Beast lands, he knew he had a second chance. He debated what to do with it, at first considering dropping his blood-craving and starting anew... But in the end, his insanity took over, and he decided that there was no better opportunity than this to take revenge on the entire world. To this day he wanders the Guardian Beast lands, driven by the need for more murder. Another fool to slaughter. Another life to take in penance for the world's crimes against him..
