"There is no point in having power..." Kaminari's plan was stopped. She had not expected him to turn and grab her blade. Her eyes widened. "AHHHHHH!" Kaminari screamed at the top of her lungs as the first lightning bolt hit, surging through Jaeden and into her. As that one stopped, she was out of breath, her body was burnt, and she could feel her body weaken. She did not let go of her sword, not smart. Another lightning bolt hit and once again, "AHHHHHHHHHH!" She screamed even louder, the pain being extreme. Once that one stopped, she refused to hold on anymore. She let go of her sword and as the third one hit, she was separated from her sword and him. She couldn't believe she was forced to let go of her own Zanpakutō. She stumbled backwards, falling into the trunk of a tree about fifteen feet away from him. This seemed to be the safest distance, so she refused to fall until she made it that far. She knew she had a moment to try and regain her composure. Jaeden's attack definitely did some damage to her, but her screaming was going to take it's toll. This time she was only two feet away from him while her voice would hit his ears. While hearing this, it would sound like nails on a chalkboard. A huge headache would hit, but that was just the smallest effect on him. Being so close while hearing that would make it hard to breathe, cause him to vomit, and even cause him to lose motor function. A definite advantage on her end. She may have been seriously hurt, but the pain she felt would numb soon. Her will would definitely keep her going. It was obvious what Jaeden was fighting for, her forgiveness. That was why she asked him out here. Kaminari was fighting for a different reason. Yes, she would keep her promise to him and forgive him if a certain standard in this fight was met, but it was not HER reason for wanting to fight him. She really wanted nothing more then to prove her strength. When she first met him, she was weak, slow, and not very experienced. His power frightened her at times. That had changed and she was determined to show it. For now, she was sitting there, watching him as he reacted to the ability that was causing extreme discomfort within his own body. She was breathing heavy, one eye was closed because of the pain. She was not going to take her one eye off of him. Both eyes suddenly shot open when she saw another lightning bolt come towards her. It was off though. Didn't seem as powerful as the others. Forcing herself through the pain, she brought her arm back and unsheathed the other sword of her duel Zanpakutō's. This one was longer, a normal sized katana. She did not use it though. She wasn't stupid enough to make the same mistake twice. Instead she fought lightning with lightning. "Hadō Four, Byakurai!" she pointed the Kidō towards the bolt of lightning, causing them to meet in the middle and stop there. |

Jaeden's ears were ringing dammit that truly hurt, her screams were painful that tore it. He'd have to do something truly drastic about this voice of hers, glancing around he tried to get something of an idea to hold on to but lighting wasn't forgiving. He watched as Byakurai met his electrical charge, boy that would of been nice. He'd almost thrown up, he swallowed the puke it was hard to do but he'd done it. His vision was somewhat blurry, lucky for Jaeden every sense was brought to a high level, his power to sense reiatsu was strong enough that well Kaname Tousen and him weren't far off, only difference one of them really was blind. Bringing her sword up, he sliced his ears each, cutting them deep enough sound no longer would work. He let a slight breath of pain, he opened his crimson orbs looking at her. He could read lips and well that would help him a good deal.
Sadly his Zanpakutō would recover his ears soon enough, slicing inside enough to do damage to his ears so his hearing was gone. But Seiryu's passive healing and regeneration of cells had fixed his eyes up enough he could see. So with the sound problem taken care of..
"I will go to any lengths to win this Kaminari.." Jaeden's eyes looked towards her, crimson orbs that appeared to be almost aglow as he rested trying to regain some of his focus now, the damage was rather severe. What could he do, the passive healing only helped with physical matters. The lighting would help him heal what would take normally days in minutes. Months in hours, but that wasn't his goal here. Seiryu figured it would be only a bit longer for him to be back to normal, he'd gotten a bit of his eye sight back despite that ear ringing.
Now what was he to do for his next trick, Jaeden couldn't use Kidō still and his choices were rather limited. Perhaps he could do that, once he regained some balance. As long as he could focus on his energy and stand still, Jae could regenerate some damages to the inner parts. But he watched Kaminari closely, he wondered her thoughts on him cutting out his ears hearing to face her. Well on the bright side, Kimiko yelling at him for paper work well that was gone. He grinned, at this he was almost ready to laugh.

"There is no point in having power..." Kaminari watched him with wide, horror filled eyes. "He... did not... just..." she thought as her body trembled in shock at what she had just saw. A single tear even dropped down the side of her face, wondering how he could handle bringing such pain onto himself. Kaminari understood that hearing her voice was painful, but comparing it to that was nothing. His reactions towards the effects were astonishing as well. She could tell he almost threw up, but did not know he had actually swallowed it. It was a good thing to, she probably would have threw up herself if she realized that. As he opened his eyes and looked to hers, he would be met with a look of utter horror and disbelief. Her pupils trembling from the shock, unable to register what he just did to himself. She blinked, keeping her eyes closed for a brief moment and snapped herself back into reality. It was now that she forced herself back to her feet, ignoring any and all pain she felt. She took in a deep breathe and since her hand was still on the hilt of the second of her Zanpakutō, she unsheathed it. Focus was back. It was time to continue. Hearing what he was saying, she didn't even reply. She figured he wouldn't be able to hear her anyway, so now her mouth was shut. She wasn't sure how to react to what he had just said. "He'll go through any lengths to win, huh? This battle isn't going to end well... or soon." Kaminari wasn't planning on losing either. She knew when to call it quits, but at the same time she wasn't going to unless on the verge of death. She stood there watching him, not moving. He was watching her as well. A smile crept onto his lips, causing her to raise an eyebrow. "Not what I expected..." she thought as she got ready to continue the battle. She narrowed her eyes and clenched her jaw. This was bad. She had not planned on moving into close range with him. That damn sword style of his would do some extreme damage if he got close enough to cut her. "Distance... my best bet." Currently she was lucky enough to have moved fifteen feet away from him, and Jaeden seem to interested in closing the gap. Good..." she thought while taking in a deep breath and bringing back her complete focus. A fire lit in her eyes. She was ready. Her katana in her right hand, nothing in her left. It had been a while since she only used a single sword. "Hadō Three! Piercing Shot!" she pointed towards him and three small bullet like Kidō shot towards him, each aiming for a different spot. One was towards the middle of his chest, another towards his left shoulder, and then another towards his right leg. Each came out the same speed as a regular bullet from a 9mm gun and if hit would pierce through his body and come out behind him. She wasn't done there though. She moved into a second attack as well. Facing her palm towards where he was, aiming at his chest, she said, "Hadō thirty three, Shakkaho!" A red ball of energy shot forward, aiming to hit the designated spot, right in the middle of his chest. Kaminari still stood ready, awaiting the reactions of her opponent. |

Jaeden's eyes remained fixed on the female's lips, he wasn't sure what to do with her sword so before her attack he softly put it in a reserve holding style, using a sword against someone else not something Jae felt like doing, so now what was the call reading her lips he got the Kidō names he needed. Luckily she wasn't to complex to read the lips of, he could feel some motorization of his body coming back, he was fighting her voice powers as well as he could. It was about time for him to begin his offensive, he seemed to weave past the 3 bullets. Stepping to the left first, to avoid all contact of the first two. Ducking down he avoided the left shoulder shot and now it was time to go. Jaeden was almost ready, he'd been charging up his electrical energy again. He watched as the red ball shot towards him. Using a shunpo he dodged the attack, Jaeden was still a bit slow and he did notice it.
His body was half recovered from the effects of her screams, it wouldn't be fully for a couple more seconds, but he needed to focus and fight her. Well here's how his strategy and plan came on. Appearing right in front of her, he brought his sword down quickly, indeed using the Tengu style he'd only be able to misdirect the blade once however. He used a bit of his surge move, and the blade had extended 4 feet. This was to allow him better chance to trick her, of course this meant the blade was only electrical if she got hit by the extension, however that would cause some damage to the body.
He'd launched the style now, the slash had been vertical and it's location was in an interesting location, however the female would most like not notice due to her eyes being open. Jaeden himself picked the location but wasn't aware of it, this was a bit hard to know if it had worked. The extra slice so to speak was to her right. It was also extended due to the surge effect being attached to his Zanpakutō.
Jaeden was getting something ready in his gauntlet hand just in case, he seemed ready to go to war finally. Yes he was still feeling the effects of her powers, they were quite staggering. She was something, after this he and her would definitely need medical help. His ears hurt badly, he wouldn't soon do this again, the things people did for victory.

"There is no point in having power..." Kaminari's eyes narrowed in annoyance as he so easily dodged each of her Kidō. The first came out like bullets, so how he dodged each of them was beyond her. Then he even was able to move out of the way of her Shakkaho, another annoyance. This fight was definitely going to get bad. One thing she was proud of though, she had not even activated her shikai yet. Even not having one of her swords in her possession, she would still be able to use the other. It was about that time. "Invade the air, Hanayaku..." she said as she watched him coming towards her with his confusing sword style. Immediately her sword 'disintegrated', turning into a visible pink powder that moved out and surrounded her entire body like a barrier would. It was a pollen, just like from a flower. Knowing that he was just going to confuse her with his style, she stood there and took the attack. She may have been weakened and damaged, but she would be able to take a single attack from his blade, whether the lightning end hit, or the blade did. Though, if he continued attacking and he did not back away from her the moment the pollen was brought out, breathing was dangerous and that cut on his hand was just as bad. Since the pollen surrounded her entire body, the moment he even took a single breath, it would have entered his body. Even if he did not breathe, that lovely cut on his hand allowed the pollen to seep into his body and began to move through his blood stream. The only way to get out of this really was to completely stop his attack the moment he saw the pollen and some how get away from the cloud before it touched him or make him breathe it in. In this instance, it was all up to how he reacted to hearing her release her shikai and seeing the pollen form around her. If he kept moving forward, he was probably done for, as long as she could hold out for a little while longer. |

Jaeden's stop was sudden, he looked at the pollen around her. So this was her swords power, poison based perhaps he couldn't be sure without entering in. It seemed it was about time for his trump card, he'd gotten most his feeling back now. The electric energy began working on that nasty cut in his hand, it would be several minutes before it healed, the lighting raged in the sky. If only she knew what Jaeden was doing, he made no posture or jester just yet. Jaeden hadn't yet seen this sword of Kaminari's it was interesting and yet somehow he didn't know for sure, he glanced down at his other hand for a moment checking to see if the other had turned into the same. He could read her lips thankfully, it wasn't to great a skill but it was useful in this situation. Jaeden wasn't sure what to do as of yet, but he was getting ready to unveil his last Shikai move. Kaminari hadn't seen a couple yet, the net and now this. This took some focus to do, since he couldn't attack her in a general way.
Since he couldn't get close to her, he spun her sword around till he held it as a normal one. He wasn't exactly an expert at duel wielding, but Jaeden was one of the finest swordsman in the land. Jaeden could feel the world around him grow dim as Seiryu came forward, he wasn't visible to Kaminari of course. But he rested his large head on Jaeden as his tail wrapped around the male's waist and he carefully coiled around his master and spoke aloud in his mind.
"Jaeden, you've gone far to prove you desire innocence perhaps Kamianri will understand your determination to leave that in the past..Should the next attack fail, end it..go for the final show..Jaeden, she is weakened as you are..I've reached most my limit to stop the bleeding for you, but it's almost healed due to that..I know you are tired..show her your strength..call out to me..Jaeden!"
Jaeden nodded, releasing a roar of his power now. His reiatsu jumped as the red mixed with the lighting. savagely danced around, a giant of an attack began to come down from the skies. It was right above Kaminari, dodging in her shape would be hard due to the power of it. This attack channeled all the lighting into a giant dragon, that would leave a crater where it struck. This was the final shikai move, the greatest of all the moves taunt to him within shikai. The surging Dragon, the water around her had grown greatly, this entire field was a walking high voltage factory. Jaeden was growing tired, this move took a toll on his energy supply.
So after this, he would show her his full power. He brought his sword upwards as though waiting for to see what happened now, it pry looked as though he was getting ready to attack. The dragon would only come straight down in the form of a giant lighting dragon, sparks flying everywhere this place was about to see a major redecoration. Jaeden had stopped out of range of the pollen to protection himself, it was just curiosity really. But from here on thing's promised only to get harder for him.

"There is no point in having power..." "He stopped..." Kaminari thought to herself, a smirk moving onto her lips. She brought her right hand up immediately, using this moment to think up some sort of plan. One came rather quickly. It seemed he was able to read her lips. A Problem. She brought her hand in front of her lips while she spoke out. "Bakudo Number Nine, Geki." The moment the Kidō was activated, a red light would surround Jaeden and keep him from being able to move. Of course this effect was temporary, but she needed some way to get her sword back. Walking forward, through the large cloud of pollen that now surrounded her body, she stepped out of it and went to grab her sword. The entire time, she was keeping the Kidō active by keeping her hand up and concentrating on it. Once she had her sword, Kaminari would shunpo away from him. That was about as long she was able to hold him within Geki, so she had to move away quickly. "Someone is having fun." Shiroka, her Zanpakutō spirit spoke from within. Kaminari replied only with a small chuckle within her mind. Now, she was fully armed and back in action. She had shunpo'd right back to the spot that she was previously standing and just watched him to see what he was doing. Out of nowhere a surge of energy erupted from Jaeden, causing Kaminari's eyes to widen. What ever was coming, was going to hurt. "Invade the air, Shiroka!" she said and the pollen instantly returned to it's hilt, back in the shape of a blade, but replacing that was the other blade. This blade vanished and turned into two hundred orchids around her. Kaminari looked up, her eyes wide in horror. A large dragon of lightning was coming down towards her. Kaminari didn't have much time to react at all. She brought her orchids in to surround her, knowing that her body would not be able to move as fast as she would want it to. They hardened instantly, but were not able to surround her body completely on time. Once the attack stopped, Kaminari's body was laying at the bottom of the crater, badly burnt and clothes torn in multiple places. For a while, she only laid there. She was still conscious, but was also in an immense amount of pain. Her orchids were able to surround her enough to prevent this from being a fatal blow, but even just laying there, she could tell that she didn't have much left. After about fifteen seconds, Kaminari moved and pushed herself back to her feet. Her orchids had instantly reformed around her body, floating there and awaiting her command. She was breathing heavily, but this entire time she did not take her gaze off of Jaeden. She looked up towards him, still standing in the crater, holding limply onto her sword and hilt. "It seems your friend really wants to win. I'm shocked he used such an attack on you." Shiroka laughed a bit as she spoke to Kaminari. "Well.... He is.. fighting... for my forgiveness... Seems it means more to him... than I first thought..." Kaminari told her Zanpakutō Spirit through heavy breathing. Kaminari took in a deep breath and raised her arms, wincing through the pain she felt. At the moment, the only thing really keeping her from stopping the fight was a sense of pride and her Will to continue. She took in a deep breath and smirked. It was time to go back on the offensive. This was going to be interesting. Now that her injuries were greater than his. It was time for her to move in and make it all equal again. Kaminari forced herself to leap about a foot into the air. At that moment, two orchids brought themselves under her feet and pushed her into the air and brought her twenty feet away from him. This was her new footing. Without any hesitation after that, she swung her arm forward and all, except for twenty two, of her orchids shot towards him. Twenty continued to surround her body, two under her feet, and one hundred and seventy eight orchids flew towards him in four different pillars. The fastest one went over his head and came around to attack his back, two others went towards his left and right, while the last shot towards his chest. Every single wave of orchids matched her max speed, showing that she truly was ready to hurt him if need be. He showed her that was how he was working, so it was time for her to go for more serious attacks. The moment these waves of orchids surrounded him, she would twist her wrist, wincing from the pain, but this twist would cause each of the orchids to explode around his body. Each explosion matched that of C4 exploding around him. |

Jaeden had hoped for it to be over with that, he'd created a rather large hole in the ground. He was getting tired, it was time for him to play around no longer. This battle was important, it was a battle he had to win. He couldn't read the female's lips, however her Geki wouldn't hold him perfectly, due to well getting herself blasted into a hole by his attack, she'd barely been able to defend something he used to kill people at times. Jaeden breathed heavily, he couldn't help but look towards the battered female she had done well in dealing with his powers. Kaminari had proven one of his best challenges since the man Law, he'd needed a couple minutes to rest. Jaeden' cleared his throat, as he caught his breath and got ready to speak. Perhaps words to a girl he would show his all, he kept his hand raised to the sky. The Zanpakutō seemed to be well if anything getting ready, the fire and burn damages were everywhere. Kaminari had well taken this much better, Jaeden was too tired to be shocked his move hadn't finished this.
Truthfully that was the only thing that kept paleness from showing on the tired Captain's face, this had been indeed a push Kaminari was showing her stuff as a strong warrior an able body fighter at that. Jaeden's attacks had not phased her and well that was indeed something to be surprised at for him. Jaeden opened his mouth to speak now, he would utter his last sentence to her before turning it all off and becoming a being like no other.
"..I..haven't fought like this in sometime, it's been so long since someone has made me go this far....this far..I hope truly you like what you are about to be shown....It's been so long, let's see if I remember...it....BANKAI!"
Lighting shot from all sides and came down upon Jaeden's form as the lighting wings began to form around his entire body, this was it. His chance to show Kaminari his true strength, something he'd hid from her despite her not knowing. Jaeden wasn't going to hold anything back any longer, in this form Jaeden could coordinate blasts like before, the rain and storms got heavier as he began to lower his sword. Electrical wings picking up every single piece of static electricity in the air. Jaeden could feel it, sadly he didn't know for sure how long he could hold out as tired and sore as he was. He would just have to do it, he could see the incoming attack as he yelled bankai. The wings acted as a shield, covering him from most of the damage, they were large enough to wrap around him fully. The explosions hurt and damages the electrical wings Jaeden had built. Kaminari appeared ready as well for a fight.
Jaeden's body was injured from those explosions and well truth be told, he'd lacked a good defense. Blood was pouring down several parts of his body, he'd activated his bankai and indeed it reduced the damage by a bit. He'd pry of died otherwise, he breathed heavily feeling lighting hit him constantly, flapping the electric wings had caused a greater storm to come up.
"This is my last attack Kaminari, I'll put everything I have into it..I am not going to be standing much longer..So..enjoy..Storm of a thousand pedals!"
Jaeden roared out his last attack, shooting lighting into the skies. Around him and Kaminari petals began to fall rapidly almost as though rain, they were small and well coming down in numbers, Jaeden's arm lowered the sword using it to keep himself up. Normally this move would of been used in worst case scenes, the lighting poured down around them both. The pedals were both a good defense and offense at the same time. Jaeden had put in the last bit of his strength into this, he'd not been sure if Kaminari had gotten what she wanted out of this or not. But he was tired and well the fight was reaching it's final stages.
Around him as he watched he could see petals falling and causing minor explosions of electrical energy into the ground, these countined to fall and would for a bit longer. Those struck would be hit by a force almost equal to that of surging Dragon. The voltage from these would grow stronger and stronger upon each impact, Jaeden was immune if anything it was recharging him to fight a little more. But he wasn't able to as it would turn out, he'd lost alot of blood from those injuries and had finally found his limits. Having called upon the moves name had increases it's power, the glowing petals were beautiful to look at. However Jaeden hadn't used them due to the other effect, around them this garden was quickly becoming nothing but a war like zone.
The radius of effect was rather large, it was 98 feet in a circle. Grant it they fell much faster and often around Jae, so those in the range of 30 feet were pry in alot of danger. More so than those outside of it, each petal swayed and drifted down before discharging. Jaeden sometimes pondered making them all come down at once on a singular target, but his control wasn't so good. Jaeden's red eyes were growing tired and well he assumed Kaminari was reaching her limitations as well. He could feel some of the blood flowing down his body, well he was reaching his final phase. The petals would fall for sometime now, it was only to watch the final outcome.
Truthfully that was the only thing that kept paleness from showing on the tired Captain's face, this had been indeed a push Kaminari was showing her stuff as a strong warrior an able body fighter at that. Jaeden's attacks had not phased her and well that was indeed something to be surprised at for him.

"There is no point in having power..." "..I..haven't fought like this in sometime, it's been so long since someone has made me go this far....this far..I hope truly you like what you are about to be shown....It's been so long, let's see if I remember...it....BANKAI!" Kaminari narrowed her eyes at this. Him activating his bankai meant one thing in her mind, this was going to end soon. As the orchids exploded around him and he blocked, she did not hesitate another moment. She could not be caught in the attack of a bankai. It was time. The first time he would ever see her reveal her own bankai. Most didn't even know she had it. She held her arms out to the side and opened her hands from the hilts of her swords. "BANKAI!" she shouted out loud. The swords glowed, and looked as if they shattered and the energy moved behind her. A HUGE gust of wind blew through the place, shifting it's direction and becoming stronger. A very large orchid appeared behind her, only to break down a moment later. Kaminari had activated her bankai. Three things happened with the activation. First, was a green colored pollen left the flower and moved itself through the air to surround her body like a thick cloud, only allowing herself to see clearly through it. Her cloud of pollen can easily be seen through, it's only hard if you're travelling through it. Second, the petals of the orchid flower behind her separated in to two thousand petals that were just a bit smaller than the orchids within her shikai. These petals flew through the around around her, floating there and waiting for her command. The third and final thing that happened with the activation of her bankai, the stem of the orchid separated into twenty vines. They slithered their way into the ground below her feet, able to move freely and at her regular speed while in the ground, doubled if they are out. Each vine is twenty feet long and two inches thick. Kaminari looked up and saw that lightning was seeming to rain down upon her in a massive storm. Her eyes widened in shock and fear. She could not get hit directly by one of these things. As one came towards her, she forced herself to dodge by jumping away and rolling, stopping on a single knee. This caused her enough pain to tense up her body. Another was falling towards her. She brought her hands upwards, and as if following her command, the vines shot out of the ground. She brought her arms in and the vines all wrapped themselves tightly around her, covering her like a very strong and thick cocoon. At this point, until she felt that she could step out without being annihilated by another bolt of lightning, she was stuck. The vines that surrounded her were extremely durable, very hard to break. It would take a while for them to break, even under immense amounts of pressure. |

Jaeden's eyes looked on at Kaminari's bankai so he'd gotten to see it. His and her first time showing one another their powers, Jaeden pushed himself up to his feet again blood pouring from his injuries. Walking forward slowly, he advanced towards the female's location, he knew how this would go. The outcome was a conclusion that he'd come to, she was truly gifted and well that was important. He wanted to say something to her now, before he passed out and he could feel it growing closer. Blood loss was making him weary, he wouldn't be able to keep Bankai up to long. The man walked forward, his eyes hurt from the strain of trying to do so much, Jaeden had pain in places that hadn't felt this pain since so long ago. Jaeden advanced forward, stumbling as he spit some blood up. It was hard to say what was driving him, Seiryu shot warnings to his master now loudly.
"Jaeden! Don't you dare, it's dangerous she will kill you if you go any closer don't be foolish my precious master, I don't want to lose you..not to her and not yet."
Jaeden's lighting petals began to fall, his wings were breaking into pieces his bankai was beginning to fade away, well it seemed his limits were met. He was going to make it, he spoke somewhat loudly though he only had one phrase that came to mind, he'd only be able to ever say one thing to Kaminari. About his mistake, being so weak himself that he couldn't understand his mistakes in life at the time. Jaeden stumbled but seemed to refuse it, till he got to her. Finally reaching her, he managed to stand up for a bit longer. He couldn't bare much more,m his body looked to be in rags. The Captains Haori was torn in several places, Jaeden's hand had lost it's grip on his sword a while ago. Touching Kaminari's head softly with his bloody hand, he spoke softly, his voice somewhat raspy from his tiredness and weakness now.
"I am..sorry..for before..and you've grown so much since that day when we first met, I am proud you've shown me......the growth you've come to...thank you.."
Jaeden slowly attempted to turn around but found himself collapsing, he was able to just sit down on his butt, that was the limit of what was left from the Captain. His body dripped blood on to the ground, he smirked at the sword and touched it softly.
"Sorry Seiryu...things..didn't go your way." Jaeden's last sentence before becoming silent sitting there before Kaminari, his head lowered as he simply bled.
