If You Didn't Know By Now: We are a Free-Flow Site + Side Note [Annoucement]

Alright, I'm just posting this announcement to let most people who are wondering where the site's overall plot is. There has been some ramblings here and there about Platinum Heart's Main Story line. I've noticed, only speaking for myself, some members over the past few months question me about the Black War Event, The Site Plot and other related events in PC or PM. So, to address these people and many new or potential members, I believe it's time to say that we are officially more free-form then plot oriented. What does this actually equate to for the average user or staff member? Well, starting from this point on, we simply aren't going to focus that heavily on Main Storyline Events. We've tried time and time again to do such events, but on staff and some members, it's just extremely hard to do as it takes a large amount of focus, resources, characters, commitment and time in order to perform such feats of events like those that occurred in The Battle for London.

Therefore, to remedy this problem, we are simply going to focus on event related threads. These can range from organizations attacking different regions, various meetings with said orgs on their own time, member made events where PH members can come up with their own site events; provided staff is alright with it and ultimately focusing primarily on characters subplots while making Main Storyline Events occur whenever staff believes the time is right and we are ready to tackle such a daunting task. This may bum some people out, especially those that were looking forward to that Black War Arc event, but even I cannot sustain that effort as I felt dread being so heavily tied to that damned thing while all I wanted to do was have no worries, freely roam the Platinum Hearts Universe and just take each thread at a time whenever my leisure strikes me or when it tickled my fancy. So, since I do not this site follow many rules that I myself wouldn't follow, I'm simply making this announcement to make it clear: do not worry about the site's plot anymore. Simply use it for background on your character.

Side Note: I would also like members to realize that this is also not a newly made site. Platinum Hearts is the continuation of Untold Stories 1 and Untold Stories 2 with some imports from Bleach Blazing Souls after our merger. Therefore, not wanting to abandon stories, plots and characters that have been in the works since as far back as 2007, we have kept some of these elements in the overall site plot, it explains why some characters are so immensely strong (see: Shadin Yuudeshi) as they have worked a long time for their kind of power and ultimately it's something some members on PH should be aware as there some people on the site far older then they appear to be. Thus, please try to remember that Platinum Hearts is more or less five years old at this point and things aren't always as they appear.

Side Note 2: The Staff of Platinum Hearts will be making new updates, adjustments, changes and removal of some rules in the coming weeks in order to better adapt the site to it's massive changes, needs and transformations as a whole throughout the past few years. Therefore, expect some alterations in how the site is run, more clarification on some subjects on the site and removal of un-needed things that are out of date. We'll let you know when we are finished with our revamp project.
