Kasumi is normally seen walking around hugging on Iori. She has a very large attachment to Iori, since they are together. Normally, she will shove Iori in between her breasts, however sometimes Kasumi will shove her face in between Iori's. She is very caring to most of Iori's family, including Odysseus. Kasumi will go out in the garden and, like a child, chase butterflies. She loves to travel across the country. She is deathly afraid of spiders, and normally will hide behind Iori when there is one. However, despite being deathly afraid of the small ones, if a spider-esque hollow or demon appears, Kasumi is the first to vanquish it. Kasumi is quite romantic as well. Well, if you call what she does romantic. She will also "glomp" Iori in any way, shape, fashion, or form that is avalible to her.

That is the normal Kasumi. Kasumi actually has a total of three personas. Each persona also has a distinct appearance. Her darker persona was crafted from the hatred that dwells inside of her. Her lighter side was crafted when she met Iori. No matter which "side" she is, she still cares deeply for Iori. To be blunt, her darker side is a vindictive, cold-hearted bitch. She doesn't take "no" for an answer and will gladly use force. She despises men. If a male simply glances at her, he will not be having children any time soon. Her lighter side, however, is a great person. This is also commonly referred to as her "Bisexual" side. The lighter side is more of the feminine side of Kasumi than her darker one. The lighter side tends to follow Misaiko around almost 24/7. However, Misaiko doesn't understand why, or even realize that she's following her, Kasumi follows her around..

History/Background:

Kasumi is actually Odysseus's younger sister. Born several millinia after Odysseus, she is the last child of their mother. When Kasumi was just a toddler, the Le Rouge de Loi Clan sold her to the Minori Clan, whom the Le Rouge de Loi owed debt to. Unfortunately, the Minori Clan ran every whorehouse in the Northlands. While she was young, Kasumi was paraded around, yet noone was allowed to touch her. She would do medial chores around two of the Minori's businesses. When she turned 8 she was forced to go into the business.

Being beaten and raped night after night, she eventually confronted her father, who was in the middle of intercourse with one of Kasumi's sisters. Using a kitchen knife, she slit both of their throats and escaped through an open window. However, she didn't leave just yet. The night after, she set the place ablaze, killing her mother, sisters, and the patrons inside. It was said by passers-by that "her eyes were glowing more red than the blood on her face." Now on the run from the Minori Clan's remnants, Kasumi hid in the dense forests around the Northlands.

Running was hard for a young girl, especially an attractive one. Perverts going from Jouten no Joukamachi to the Northlands and vice-versa would offer her a bed to "sleep" in. However, what those men did not know was that she had kept that kitchen knife. Leaving them with two pools of blood, Kasumi was rumored to have killed a total of 25 of those perverts. Eventually the knife wouldn't get the job done. Thus, she killed a wandering swordsman and stole his wazikashi. In a small port town, she knew she'd need new clothes.

She was now ten years old, and she was growing in more than just height. However, not being brought up in a good home meant she didn't know right from wrong. She broke into a storage building and stole a dark blue kimono. Grabbing her knife, she cut the sleeves off of it and part of the legs on the Hakama, creating an outfit that she could move more nimbly in. During this time, she used her skills with the wazikashi and the knife to kill another twenty people personally before burning down five whorehouses.

After the 2nd Family's head's army started patrolling the city, Kasumi was forced to go underground. Stealing food and burning down the business at night, she remained undetected until a group of the 2nd Family's head's army spotted her. She killed two of them, but lost her knife in the process. She escaped and bumped into a man with orange and white hair. He wore a white Haori with a black kosode underneath. As a group of ten of the 2nd Family's head's army approached them, the man in black took them all out without drawing his sword. He took Kasumi under his wing and taught her everything he knew about defending oneself.

It took many years, but eventually Kasumi started trusting this man. Because of what happened to her all those years ago, she hated men and didn't trust a single one. In fact, most of the men she had killed were just nice men asking her if she was lost or something of that sort. He said his name was "Hikaru Masayoshi." She laughed at his name and he just patted her on the head. The two formed a father-daughter relationship and he taught her how to spot the bad people in a crowd.

He trained her in many different martial arts, including what would become known as Jeet Kune Do. He also taught her a few ways to assassinate someone. Hikaru then left her, saying "You're strong and old enough to take care of 'em." She knew what he meant. Posing as a prostitute, she would lure men in before killing them. The killing spree still did not quell her revenge complex. Taking down a total of 50 of these perverts, she was known as the "Bloodlust Queen."

Finding the current head of the Le Rouge de Loi clan, whom she learned was the one that forced her to go into that horrid profession, she disguised herself. Her outfit was that of a shrine maiden. She was dancing for the clan leader, Ulysseus, when she brought out her knife. What she didn't know was that Ulysseus had a Ziamichi inside of him. As Kasumi darted out of the window after she killed Ulysseus, she noticed someone entering the room.

Seeing the 2nd Family's army approaching the mansion, she darted up the nearby mountainside. Kasumi didn't notice that she had been struck with a poison dart from one of Ulysseus's guards. As she got to the top of the mountain, the poison was all throughout her body now. Lighting a stick wrapped in the fabric of her clothing on fire, she set the mountain and thus the mansion. The 2nd Family's Army and the servants of Ulysseus were all burned alive.

For many, many years she was in hiding, honing her skills in more. It wasn't long after that when Kasumi was approached by a large creature. It was over 20 feet tall when it would stand on its hind legs. He spoke to her in a raspy voice and explained that he was her "guardian beast." At first she could do nothing but stare at the creature. It wasn't until he gave her a necklace in the shape of a rapier that the creature disappeared.

A few decades passed, and the creature wasn't seen. Kasumi was starting to learn how to use the Sugiura's Kidō equivalent when her back started to be in pain. While she could see nothing on her back, she placed her hand and felt what appeared to be two large arms sprouting from her back. She couldn't see the arms, neither could anyone else. The creature then appeared again and explained that she had awakened her Sacred and explained what a Sacred was plus what her powers were.

Kasumi started training her poisons for combat and medial tasks. She eventually was able to use them just like her regular arms. One day, while helping out some villagers, a group of murderous Yakuza appeared.After seeing them pillage through one woman's house, Kasumi used her one of her poisons. He screamed "W-WHAT IS THIS?" Kasumi would reply "This is the Hand of God...your punishment for your crimes is....DEATH!" The poison set in and he slowly, and painfully, died. The bandits immediately took off and Kasumi left the village.

Kasumi went around the entire Sugiura country for two centuries, helping the citizens of her country. It wasn't until after year 203 of her journey, that she found someone. He was a former head of the 2nd Family. He knew of her poisons and requested her help with some "business." She accepted, with suspicion, to help the man out. Her job was to assassinate the current head of the 2nd Family. She was still young, and so the task was difficult.

Prentending to be a prostitute, like earlier in her life, she was able to get close to him. And in one foul swoop, she cut his head off with her invisible hands. Darting out of the room through a window, she knocked a lamp over, setting the palace ablaze. The palace burned down, and she became the former 2nd Head's private assassin. Kasumi was, at this time, emotionless. She could care less about who she killed. However, she would not kill women and children. She said it was her maternal instincts.

For the next 300 years, she went and killed over 700 people, most were indirect kills. However, when the former 2nd Head ordered an orphanage to be burned down, Kasumi sliced his tounge, arms, and legs off. She then walked out of the building casually. Before anyone could tell anything was wrong with the former 2nd head, she was long gone. At this time, she started drinking. She needed to stop the killing, and so she would sit and drink at the bars until she couldn't walk to prevent herself from killing others.

It was one night that she met a beautiful young red-haired girl. They both had been drinking. One thing led to another, and the next morning they woke up together..."Attached." From what they could remember, the two had rough hard near-death sex. They became friends awkwardly and eventually they started talking more and more. However, for a while they didn't drink together. It turned out that the girl that Kasumi had slept with was the daughter of the Empress.

Eventually, Kasumi asked if Iori was seeing anyone. Iori replied with a stern "Fuck no." Kasumi giggled at it, and then asked if Iori liked her. Of course, the obvious reply was "yeah, you're a good friend. Why?" Kasumi turned away and asked "Well, would you like to be more than just friends?" Since that question has been asked, the two have been together other than a spat where they broke up for a few centuries. Kasumi was cleared of all charges and was trained by Iori and Misaiko, eventually gaining her Kyuu Kyou in secret. Eventually, she was allowed to move into the royal palace, taking her place as Iori's bodyguard.

Guardian Beast: Noblesse Oblige



Towering at over 20 feet tall when standing, Noblesse Oblige is a massive creature. With small hind legs, and a massive upper body, it is unknown how he stands. He speaks rarely, and when he does, it's in a loud, raspy tone.


Guardian Beast's World:

It appears as a deserted island in the middle of an ocean. There are no relics of a past civilization here. Noblesse Oblige resides within the largest mountain of the island. Also, the season and weather depend on Kasumi's mood (loving=Spring/ Sunny; Anger=Summer/Drout; Unloved=Winter/Blizzard; Etc.)

Techinques/sugiura Kidō: Her Kekkai skills are fairly good, however her actual power behind it is weak. Her accuraccy and speed is unmatched currently though. However, her "light" side is almost completely unmatched when it comes to the Sugiura's spells.

Other Weapons: Being an assassin hired by the former head of the 2nd Family, she is quite skilled in many regards. She carries a multitude of other weapons around. However, her darker side is quite skilled with a Katana.

~Joushou~ (Ascending)

• Venenum Oris Niger Undique Neveus: (Poison - Seeing Black on Both Sides of White) : Her right hand creates a toxin that creates Rod Monocromacy. This makes sure that the victim can only see black, white, and shades of grey. The victim is affected for a 4 posts.
  
  
• Venenum Oris Gemino (Poison - Double Sight): He left hand causes Antimetropia, which is where one eye is nearsighted and the other is farsighted. This causes headaches and problems with depth perception. These effects last for 3 posts, with the middle post with the strongest side-effects.
  
  
• Venenum Parilis (Poison - Equality): If stabbed or sliced by Kasumi's darker side's blade, then the opponent's balance will be affected. It will cause the opponent to lose balance. If the blade hits once, then the opponent will have the effect of the lightheadedness after standing up to fast. If twice, the effects will be like that of spinning around for a while. If three times, it will be like someone has a BAC of .3 or higher. The length of the effects vary on how many strikes there were. If one, then it will last for 4 posts. If two, then it will last for 3 posts. If three or more, then only 2 posts.
  

~Zenou~ (Almighty)

• Morbus - Parvulus Fovea (Disease - Trap of the Child's Game): Her right hand will create a strong disease-like toxin that, when it cuts an arm or other limb, will put it asleep. This is basically like an anesthetic. Effects last for two posts.
  
  
• Morbus - Symphonius Levis (Disease - Light Symphony): This is a fun ability for Kasumi. When she strikes the opponent, it will create intense photosensitivity. This, if the opponent is below tier 1-3-, they will most likely have burns and boils appear if hit by the sunlight. If higher than 1-3-, it will most likely create a bad sunburn and sensitivity to lights via the eyes.
  

~Kyuu Kyou~(Ultimate)

While she has mentioned Kyuu Kyou to Iori once or twice, she has not used it nor talked about it to anyone else again.


• Contagio - Asper Plaga (Infection - Rough Cut): When struck, the wound becomes quite jagged. The effect of her right hand's strike is that it cannot be fixed by "Battlefield Healing," which is the quick and standard healing process. The wound can only be healed by lying down and allowing a healer to use more detailed healing.
  
  
• Contagio - Mortuus Plaga (Infection - Dead Cut): This is a stronger version of Asper Plaga. Used by her left hand, the cut will slowly kill the limb. However, like Soi Fong's Suzumebachi, the limb must be hit twice. It will kill said limb within 6 posts. It will not spread to the other parts of the body.
