Personality: Saga is often described by other characters as someone with the kindness of an angel but with the darkness of a demon. This ambivalence ended up creating a split personality: a good Saga that was extremely loyal to those he cared for, and an evil one that keeps control of the body most of the time. When it takes control of Saga's body, his hair turns from Blue to jet-black. Saga's two "sides", can also communicate between them. When both personalities become one thus showing Saga's true side he has a ruthless personality and harsh characteristics, often belittling those weaker then him. He takes great pride in himself and his powers since he worked hard to reach where he is now. Saga will always protect his family no matter the costs even if he has to die for them. Also he doesn't quit until he gets what he wants. He never takes danger too seriously and can be very humorous at the darkest times. While also possessing a seemingly arrogant personality, he is very passionate about his goals and will pursue them without a trace of fear, hesitation, or sometimes sense.

His Zanpaktou spirits name is Jisatsu Kingu(Suicide King). His inner Zanpaktou world is a very large poker room where he goes to meditate and get some advice when he truly needs it. Jisatsu or Ji as Saga calls him is a relaxed spirit always calm and center minded and tries to deal with Saga whenever his darker more evil side takes over.

Shikai Abilities:
Shuffle: The blade separates into a cloud of playing cards which can be controlled by his will. (Note: This cloud of cards is like the cherry blossom petals Byakuya's Senbonzakura creates) with the exception that the hilt remains in Saga's hand. When sensing an attack the cards can be gathered up into a barrier or shield.

Cut: From the Shuffle state the cards re-gather at the hilt and reform the blade.
Waterfall: Blade extends into a ribbon of cards that can be used as a whip or rope for attacking grabbing or even attacking. (Note: this skill is like a sustained waterfall flourish with playing cards in which a player passes the cards through the air from one hand to the other in a way that seems to make them appear connected.)

52 Pick Up: The scattered cards from Shuffle or the zanpakto's release fill with energy and explode. At the end of this technique the blade has reformed on the zanpakto.

# Of a kind: Allows Saga to create two to five copies of himself that are using the same technique (ex: they are all using Shuffle, Waterfall, Cut, Straight, or Flush) though the copies can act independently of one another.
Two Pair: Saga creates four copies of himself two using one technique and two using another (ex: Two use Shuffle, Two use Waterfall; Two use Waterfall, Two use Cut; etc)

Full House: Similar to the Two Pair technique except that this technique is a two-three ratio instead of a two-two ratio
Straight: beginning with the first attack after this techniques activation each succeeding attack is double the strength of its predecessor for up to 5 total attacks (ex: if the first attack were a 2 the scenario would be 2, 4, 8, 16, 32; if the first attack were a 3 the attack would be 3, 6, 12, 24, 48; etc. All of this attack power occurs regardless of the strength with which the successive attacks are thrown; even a tap with the blade on a successive hit will do the appropriate damage.

Flush: Once activated this skill causes the blade begins to glow a dark red, and as it moves it has four following after images. These images are actually successive hits and cause each hit to be treated as five total strikes. The glowing of the blade represents that it has become energy and can cut through most solid objects easily. This technique can be activated in conjunction with either the Waterfall or Shuffle techniques giving those skills the additional characteristics of Flush.
Straight Flush: This technique actually combines the effects of Straight and Flush such that the blade is glowing and has after images (as with Flush) but also for a series of five attacks the attacks increase in power, but now it is by a factor of 5 (ex: if the first attack were a 2 the scenario would be 2, 20, 200, 2000, 20000). This technique suffers the weakness that if the opening attack is too strong the force of the impact will throw Saga backwards, and that it can only generate power that Saga could physically achieve with his shikai. Because of this he often begins this technique with a small cutting attack that eventually becomes a massively powerful attack by the final hit.

Bankai Abilities:
First Stage
In the first stage of his Bankai Loki is dressed in robes (minus the crown) that are identical to his Zanpakto's spirit form (just as Ichigo's Bankai clothing matches Zangetsu's inner spirit).

He also has a series of card ribbons winding down his arms and legs. These ribbons are often used as extensions of his limbs (for attacks or increased height). Similar ribbons wind around his waist then up from a hip (crossing one another) to the opposing shoulder leading off of it in a high arch and coming on the back and resting on the hip.

This forms power is high and all of the same techniques are available to him that are available to the Shikai, but with increased power and control. For example: he apparently no longer requires the command words for the basic techniques, though saying them seems to give greater strength to them. He does sacrifice some speed and agility but the ribbons surrounding him help to make up for this by moving automatically and expanding to defend against attacks.

Second Stage
The Second Stage of Saga's Bankai is activated by uttering the command "All In, Leave Nothing Behind" once spoken the ribbons expand and connect with one another forming a spherical shell around him. This shell then retracts and becomes a golden armor around him. Take note that when his good side is active the armor is golden but when his evil side has control it is a dark purple.

In this form his speed increases to almost immeasurable levels. This form also renders him relatively invulnerable to any kind of piercing attacks, though concussive force may still knock him back. He is able to use the skills he used in his other state but now the Waterfall ribbons can come from anywhere on his body and though initially his blade doesn't appear he can summon it to his hand from within the cards. His face is generally hidden with this skin on, but he can retract the cover on his face if he chooses to do so. He can also become the cloud of cards in order to move more effectively and avoid harm.

Final Stage
The Final Stage of Saga's Bankai is activated by the command phrase "Now I Call! Lay down the Winning Hand!" While both personalities are one.
In this form half of his armor is golden (with part of his robe as seen in his first stage) while the other half is turned into a dark purple (while still retaining parts of the robe), but when both side are fused as one half of the armor is golden while the other half is a dark purple (see pic below). Cards seem to swirl about him in an orbit. This form has both incredible strength and speed. He can call upon a cloud of cards form seemingly nowhere while still holding onto his full blade and in this same way he can also construct ribbons of cards at will. He can activate Two Pair or Full House with the affect of summoning versions of his previous forms, and while using Two Pair a fifth form will appear in his current state.

In addition to his augmented attacks the Final Stage also offers a few new techniques:

Royal Flush: creates Five copies of Saga Each with a symbol on the shoulder portion of the arm guard that is either a 10, J, Q, K, or A and a dark red heart on the opposite shoulder, each with its own blade. The power of each goes in a random order though generally the "K" is the strongest (and the true version) since Saga is most fond of the King. These forms can fight independently, even against five different enemies, using any of the techniques Saga has.

High Card: This is considered one of Saga's ultimate Bankai technique, and is only usable from the Royal Flush technique. Once activated, the lesser versions combine with the primary form and his power increases as if five fully powered versions of him were combined. This technique causes an immense deep red aura to emit from his body and sword forming large wings (the spiritual pressure begins to cause damage to physical structures and almost suffocates weaker shinigami. This is considered his Bankai's Truest Form and is only seen when he is faced with truly extraordinary opponents.

Double or Nothing: This is Saga's true ultimate technique, and is only usable when High Card is activated because of all the power that is needed to use it. Once activated Saga will create a ball off pure reishi and reitsu in the palm of his hand and then fire it up to the sky where it will rise until it has reached fifteen meters into the air. As it reaches its destined mark the orb will explode removing all of the reishi and reitsu in the area for fifteen miles from the explosion, sealing up every Zanpaktou or spirit weapon in the exploded area. This move will then afterwards leave Saga extremely tired if not on the brink of death so it is rarely used by him, because of the toll that it puts on his body.

History/Background:
~The beginning of a Boy~
Saga was born 15,000 years ago in the worst district in the souls society known as district 80. Everyday for him was a struggle for survival where just living through another night was an amazing feat. His family? don't even get him started they abandoned him long ago when he was about 4 years old thus creating a split personality one which people said was as kind as an Angel while the other half was as cruel and violent like a Demon. Everyday he has trained himself to fight those that would otherwise harm him or just kill him for the hell of it. As the years went by Saga began developing shinigami powers. As first he was able to fire off his reitsu into orb like attacks to kill those people who would harm him.

Soon after he was able to fire off reitsu attacks those who would harm him he was able to conjure up a Zanpaktou, in which he trained in the ways of sword play(but he still preferred to use his fists as it felt most natural to him). One hundred years later Saga decided to go to the shinigami academy as he heard people talk about that place, and how one could get stronger if they had a Zanpaktou. It took Saga a few days to arrive at the shinigami academy, and once he had arrived he was emitted to the academy where he would learn to control and harness his Zanpaktous power.

~The Boy Becomes a Man~
While in the Academy Sagas good side was strong enough to take over the body while his evil side stayed dormant until their lives would be in danger. Saga was kind to everyone he met and girls following him around everywhere he went. He was always smiling even as he was glad to have survived his younger years. While at the academy he met a young shinigami named Shigura who had almost no talent at all, but he didn't care and befriended her. Eventually Saga began growing feelings towards her.

A few more years had passed and Saga had graduated as one of the top people in his class and was assigned to be Captain of the 9th division as they needed a captain. Even though he was a Captain and rather busy most of the time he always found time to see Shimura. One day a powerful Spirit beast appeared and started wrecking havoc in the Soul Society, and for once Saga was powerless to do anything. The Captain-Commander called for a meeting on what to do and how to take down the Spirit Beast, but Shimura appeared and asked if she could take it on. Once the other Captains, and Captain-Commander heard that request they all laughed but Saga, he was actually afraid of what might happen since he cared for her deeply. Before Shimura left Saga told her of how he felt towards her since that might be the last time he would ever see her. Hours later Shigura came back and had won over the beast but the had given her more power, and he was very happy for her. She came back and accepted his feelings for her. The two decided to go on a life journey and Saga would help her build her clan up, becoming her husband as the two lived a lovely and fruitful relationship.

~The Man Becomes a Father~

Saga, would have quite a few children with Shimura, the first two born were Takuri and Misaiko. they would go on to have thirteen more, a mix of brothers and sisters. then one more after that named Listy, he would mainly watch over the children why Shimura handled race to race affairs and other things. teaching them a list of knowledge, both Life and educationally. After they had reached sufficient ages, to learn for their own and all, Shimura went to her own mountain range to settle down and watch over them from afar, along with her husband saga. So if the children of theirs ever needed them; they would be at their side to protect them just like any father and mother would do for their child. Now they are having a pretty peaceful time above the mountain, usually through games, and living like a regular husband and wife.
