Re: Jinzen training----Night of the living dead [CLOSED]

Her new appendages shot out, deflecting his first jab at her right shoulder and her eyes shifting as another blocked the one at her stomach; her other appendages keeping the zombies busy as she glanced back up at Redd, blinking. She hadn't expected another stab at her right shoulder, and she winced as she ducked down and away, feeling the intense energy of the binding Kidō as it went right past her, throwing herself to the side and pushing up with her appendages, before pointing a single finger from each appendage at Redd, for just a moment. "If you are able to snare ME... then you win!" She said loudly, going off of how a spider always traps their prey before eating it. If he could succeeded in trapping her, then he most definitely deserved to use this bankai, the one based more on spiders than any other.
However, she realized he was above him as her right arm shot up, feeling all six of his threads grabbing her arm and holding it tight. "Not... Enough!" She said as her strong-as-steel skeleton pulled at the threads, before with a cry she threw them over her shoulder, throwing them back. If Redd tried, he could keep the threads as they were; however, as it was, she could feel that he had already injured her twice; things weren't going to last much longer...
More zombies. Fantastic! Kuro thought to himself as he aimed his gun at the new wave of zombies. However, he blinked, hearing her advice as his shadowy cloak vanished. Piero, I'm... going to try something. He thought as he shut his ziamichi spirit out of his mind.
...Are you there? He asked deep within himself, in a place he had not for quite a long time.
.....................Yes. A voice finally replied, as if it were stirring itself.
...I need your help. Kuro told it, his eyes closing as the zombies came closer and closer.
You need more power... but why ask me? It said; and Kuro knew why. He had not talked to this voice in... in too long.
...Because I NEED you. He said simply, as he remembered everything he'd gone through, the time with Jenna, with Kaminari, everything as he let out a breath, holding his daggers in front of himself.
"BAN-KAI!"
He stated simply; even he not knowing exactly what would happen... which was nothing, leaving Kuro standing there, blinking. If you want it, you have to prove it! His zanpaktou replied to him, as he gnashed his teeth together, before glancing over at Kaminari.
"Nevermind, now, let's kill some!" He said, as he threw both daggers out to either side, the vice captain shooting forwards... before suddenly stopping, two steps later. "Epic, they're ready." He said as he reached to the shadows on his left, a smile on his face as he pulled out a pair of sunglasses, putting them on and looking extremely bada$$. "Now I can see in the dark perfectly! LET'S GO!" He yelled as he charged forwards, ripping through with impressive strength and throwing the zombies to the side, counting how many as he did so. You need to kill over two... hundred. The voice said as Kuro smirked, before leaping back over to Kaminari.
"Kaminari, hold them back. Allow me to kill them; just push them away!" He said, before leaping back into the fray, slashing more and more before he reached thirty, falling back for a moment at Kaminari's back to take a brief rest...

Kaminari was forced to constantly repeat the same thing over and over again. Using less than a third of the power of her Shikai, she refused to actually kill these things by exploding the flowers. She was too wary of the fact that these sewers were old and at any moment could probably collapse. She may be new to Gotei 13 and not know very much about certain workings, but she doubted highly that people came down here very often, especially since these things were here.
Kaminari's eyes suddenly widened, her head turning to her right, looking down a rather long tunnel as she could have sworn she heard someone yell. She dazed out, her attention going only down this tunnel for fear that someone might actually need some help. Her attention was once again caught when she heard her Lieutenant yell for his Bankai. At that moment, a hand of one of the dead men touched her right shoulder. She was not frightened, she was focused. She brought her right hand up, her longer katana slicing easily through the zombies body, killing it.
"Lieutenant..." she mumbled rather low, not loud enough for him to hear. She was still alert, but she was trying desperately to see if she could hear someone yell once more. She didn't even see that Kuro had put on his sunglasses. Her attention was once again taken from trying to hear when Kuro came over to her. She looked to him and then glanced down that tunnel once more. There were hundreds, if not thousands down it. She couldn't even see the end of the tunnel when looking above these zombies heads.
"Lieutenant..." she said to him as she brought in the orchids from her Zanpakutō. Holding them still around her and him, they created sort of a barrier, surrounding them likes walls of flowers to take this chance to talk to him. "Kuro... I know this sounds sort of crazy, but I swear... I think I heard someone yell from down that tunnel..." She moved the orchids only slightly to show him where she meant. "What if someone is down here? We can't just leave them alone, but that tunnel is very long. I can't even see the back of it..." She blinked a couple times when she finally noticed his sunglasses, "Can you?"

She winced as she felt her arm being ripped back, straining her muscle; she hadn't been expecting his reactions to be quite THIS good. As it were, she merely grit her teeth and blinked, seeing him in front of her once more, as he fired out a net of Kidō, wincing as she ripped it apart... except for on her arms, where he had gotten her. She saw him leaping to the ground, and with a cry, was after him, skewering zombies as she reached the ground. However, it was far from over as her appendages began spinning and rotating, and she shot forwards, stabbing and slashing with them, two on her left, then two on her right, then repeating the action six times, before taking a step back, as she moved back over to the left; however, she had enough movement stored up that she literally FLEW across the ground, staying barely suspended on her heels as her back was facing up at Redd, all of her appendages swinging at max speed as she attempted to rip up the young shinigami's legs...
Kuro finished off another few dozen zombies, having reached a total of 80, smiling as he turned back to Kaminari, his head tilting to the side. "...I'm not sure... but it looks like there's two shadows... leaping... down? Over there... should we check it out?" He asked her, blinking once more as he turned his head around, his dagger flashing out as he killed yet another of the beasts in that simple turn, before he suddenly felt the blossoms going all around, and he leaped back, literally right next to Kaminari, not even a few inches seperating the two as he blinked, turning his head around and looking at her as the barrier formed around them, keeping out the zombies, and his sensitive nose twitched.
"...Kaminari, unlike this sewer, you smell really nice." He said, his expression remaining totally even as he let out what he had been thinking, unaware as usual as to what he was doing and trusting his instincts like she had meant for him to, something he had actually picked up on, despite her not telling him...

"There is no point in having power..." Kaminari nodded to him, trusting his judgement about people that might be down in the area. "Yeah... I think it would be a good idea to check it ou-..." She blinked a couple times at his sudden, yet sweet, comment on her smell. She stared blankly at him for a moment until it changed into an innocent smile, "Thank you." With that said, she began to focus more and turned her head towards the tunnel they were about to make a short, but tedious journey down. "You ready?" Kaminari didn't really wait for him to confirm whether he was ready or not, but instead raised her Zanpakutō. The orchids followed her thoughts and movements. They burst out towards the zombies that had been closing in on them, tossing them back into the walls of the sewers. She quickly moved into the other tunnel, sort of hopping over the sewage to avoid it and landing softly on the other sidewalk. Bringing her right arm upwards, she sliced through a few zombies easily killing them. At that same time she brought her left arm forward, the orchids following her movements as well and shot forward in front of them, pushing the zombies back and allowing them to bunch up in the tunnel that they were trying to go through. Even though she knew this would block their way, she continued to do it until finally she called the orchids back. The zombies were now piled up on top of one another, struggling back to their feet. She was hoping that Kuro would understand and take this opportunity to kill as many as he could since he seemed excited to do so. |

She was surprised at his determination; he was refusing to give up. However, in the end, if he lacked the skill to back it up, there was nothing he could do. However, as she felt him pulling her down, she closed her eyes tight; she was dragged right along with him, as her appendages came down, buzzing like saws as she turned her back to Redd...
Kuro merely smiled at her as she asked him if he was ready; he was BORN ready. He watched as she piled them up, and chuckled to himself, reaching a hand out to the side as a large amount of shadow literally went ONTO his hand, forming into a very dark sphere, as Kuro brought it up to his mouth. His smile was wide as he opened his mouth all the way, shoving in the entire thing, as he closed his mouth again, swallowing, his eyes closed, before they suddenly burst open, a fire in his eyes as he vanished, reappearing above the giant mass of zombies.
His daggers were literally twirling in his hands as he stabbed and slashed all over the dead flesh; he could feel so many dying at the extreme speed his body had been placed in that it was sending him into a rush. He began throwing them to the side after he was done with them, clearing the path as he counted, and counted, his count reaching one hundred and sixty zombies as he kept plowing, hoping that Kaminari was right behind him...

"There is no point in having power..." Kaminari watched for only a moment as he went forward first and sliced through a large amount of these green men. Zombies being cut up left and right, she finally moved forward with nothing but a look of determination on her face. She wanted to get to who ever was down here, just in case they were in any need of help. Once a path was drawn, she shunpo'd through, being able to slice through a couple of these enemies herself. Bringing her left wielded sword once more, the orchids followed and shot forth, pushing another large amount of these men into a large pile, and once again she avoided using her ability to explode the orchids, allowing Kuro to move forward once they were in play. With that last push though, she felt slightly weakened. She hadn't used her Shikai this much before. It was draining her rather quickly now, causing her to sweat and her breathing to become shallow. As she pushed those forward, she rested for a moment and allowed Kuro to pass again. Just over the heads of the hundreds more green men in front of them, she could finally see two shadows off in the distance. They looked as if they were fighting off the zombies as well, but she couldn't tell completely. Once she had caught her breath, she stood up straight and waited for her second moment to move forward once more to get closer to those in need. |

She couldn't believe it; he had come up with a way to beat her. He had successfully caught her in her own web, as it were. However, he vanished, and panting, she realized she could no longer see where he was, as she let out a large cry, looking right up at the ceiling. All of the holes of her appendages shot out, going out for 20 feet in every direction around her, in 12 cardinal points, searching for him, clearing away the zombies as her scream pierced them even through their dulled senses, causing them to move away; they were afraid. Her eyes were searching everywhere; this was getting to the endgame...
...And she knew it.
Kuro smiled as he continued to cut through the horde; his smile growing immensely as he cut down his two hundreth, talking to his spirit. All done. He told it bluntly, a wide smile on his face. Very well... Then, I shall allow you to learn it. His zanpaktou replied, as Kuro froze for a moment, his jaw dropping. YOU MEAN I STILL HAVE TO DO MORE??? He roared, stomping his foot in frustration as he began cutting down the zombies twice as fast, going near-shunpo level speed now as he charged through their ranks. Yup. But I will let you release shikai with ease now. See you soon, Kuro! It said as Kuro, his eye twitching, kept up his pace, moving right through the ranks of the green men at an impressive pace.
