Personality: Silent, yet seems appreciative of freedom, Ventus hardly talks as the wind usually speaks for him. Ventus is the only Elite Rider who does not have a horse as he usually rides the wind to get somewhere. Mystery usually follows him as he is likely to attack his own allies or his foes as if the wind decides for him. As he represents the Air Elemental, he acts entirely on his own and often disobeys direct orders from his All-Father. With that reputation, Deus often clashes with Ventus, but Ventus usually reminds Deus that Fate chose him to not die by Deus’s sword.

Brief History: Ventus’s past was unknown as he serves TelcinVohlis in his own accords. Considering he has been around the world, he often acts as a guide for other Cohort Commanders or for strangers who are kind enough to offer him some water. Many in the Cohort would have thought that Ventus would be one of the first to betray the All-Father and few went far as to try and assassinate Ventus, but with one sweep of his scythe, he eliminates the opposition without any remorse or regret. When he became an Elite Rider, TelcinVohlis gave him a special purpose, but that remains a mystery. All that stands, he was never involved in Cohort activities like Anima and Letum are.

Basic Powers:
Magical Absorption: Any spiritual/magical attack upon a rider or an elite rider is initially absorbed into the rider’s scythe (if the rider was aware of the attack to begin with and was pointing at the attack.) When absorbed, the magical/spiritual energy is then used as an impenetrable barrier for other magical/spiritual attacks from any direction for a full round. Its flaw is that any physical attack can bypass it.

Magical Counterattack: After being absorbed, the magical/spiritual energy can be used as a ranged attack from the rider to the targets within the wave’s reach. The wave’s conical angle is 120* (wide range spread.) However, there is no addition to the use, so what was absorbed is also released at same strength. Despite its name, the technique does not restrict to only the original attacker.

Storm of Eden: By waving his scythe in a circular motion, Ventus turns the clouds dark and shoots up into the sky. If he was pursued, the pursuers will receive a harsh electrical shock the moment they enter the dark clouds. If not the people underneath the dark clouds will likely targets of a lightning bolt from the dark clouds. If the lightning bolt misses, the impact would cause temporary deafness (next full round,) and stun (next two full rounds.) If hit by the lightning bolt; the attack would leave the target incapacitated for a while (next five full rounds,) due to the severe trauma to the cranium (head.)

Breeze of Eden: Mainly used for transportation, Ventus creates a soothing breeze that is strong enough to carry Ventus off. However, it has other purposes like waking up those who are incapacitated or to clear out toxic airborne gases.

Fume of Eden: Unlike most air users, Ventus can create and use natural gases without much requirement as he uses his body to change the elemental properties of the oxygen around and substitutes them with another kind of gas. They range from a humorous helium gas to an explosive hydrogen gas. When they are no longer manipulated by Ventus, they revert back to oxygen.
