Personality:

Shukaku is cunning, but also incoherent, giving it the demeanour of a madman. According to Nagato, because of its innate rage and bloodlust, Shukaku relishes the opportunity to kill anyone in sight, even more so during a full moon. Like all tailed beasts, Shukaku has a strong desire to preserve its own life, and as such, will grant its "container" it's powers, and give them what they need to survive. Shukaku is the most bloodthirsty of all of the Tailed Beasts, ready to destroy or kill if it suits him. Being the One Tail, Shukaku despises the higher tails, because they believe they are superior to him because of the idea that more tales means more power; this, in part, is actually true, making Shukaku the weakest of them all.

Appearance



Shukaku is a sandy-brown coloured tanuki, with dark blue markings all over its face, body, and tail. It has a jagged, concave mouth and the sclera of its eyes are black, containing yellow irides with pupils that each takes the shape of a black four-pointed star with four black dots around it. Shukaku is absolutely gigantic, just like the other beasts, being well above 500 feet in height, and easily weighing hundreds of thousands of pounds, due to being made up of "minerals" in his physical form.

The Tailed Beasts came to be when Nagato formulated a massive plan to.....well, let's save that for later, eh? Anywho, Shukaku was the last one created, and created with the lowest amount of energy out of all 9 of the Tailed Beasts. The Tailed Beasts are essentially beings made up completely of energy by Nagato, that were brought into existence through the use of Creation of All Things, and now possess physical bodies. They are similar to Ziamichi spirit, in a sense. Well, after being created, Nagato instructed them to do whatever he wished, no matter what, and they all agreed. Nagato currently has a plan in action that involves

Spiritual Energy: As a being formed by pure energy, Shukaku has a relatively large amount of spiritual energy. Shukaku itself has the spiritual energy of roughly a low-level captain-level shinigami/warrior/etc, making him pretty strong, though not extensively so.
