Appearance:
Short, black hair and green eyes accommodate an attitude that matches her appearance. Izuki is a girl of average height, but she has next to no figure at all, other than a slight curve to her midriff, and small breasts, though she isn't flat-chested by any means. She's proportioned to her size with grace although she could stand to gain a few pounds. Part of that is caused by her appetite, or lackthereof, and for the fact that she smokes on occasion.

Her small size allows her to be rather agile and and can climb up on top of things that many would think were dangerous. She's never once lost her balance, and for that, she often appears poised and in control. This is all the more surprising when you realize that she's actually blind. Her green eyes, while pretty in their own way, are faded and expressionless. She is often seen wearing a different variety of jeans and a tank top of some sort. She does not wear jewelry.

• Independent ||
  
  Being blind and striving for Independence don't mix very well. While she often hides her dependency rather efficiently, this also means that when she DOES slip up, her pride takes a serious beating, and she often takes out her humiliation on the ones close to her. It's not that she doesn't appreciate the help she's received, she just would rather not needing help in the first place. To placate this, she has picked up a certain method to seeing without the use of her eyes. Her world is colored with sounds and smells and tastes in a way that is, in many ways, richer than it was before... and that's not just because she was less than 5 when she lost her sight.
• Apathetic ||
  
  After the loss of both her parents, and running away from the life she would have had that scared her beyond anything she'd ever known, Izuki's life in the real world has kind of jaded her to the problems of others. It's not that she doesn't care about the problems of others, it's just that she tends to prefer not getting involved. She has always been happier left to her own devices than interacting with others. She has an outward appearance of not really caring about others and in general, she's not a team-player. This makes her dangerous though, because her motives aren't always predictable. in short- unless it affects her directly, she will not openly fight with or against you and can just as easily become an enemy as an ally[for a small fee.]
• Intuitive ||
  
  Whilst she is apathetic, she is also rather intuitive. She prefers to observe people, and picks up on things quick. This makes it difficult to hide anything from her, although she isn't perfect at it. sometimes she makes assumptions about people that aren't always 100% accurate. At the same time, it is nearly impossible to lie to her face. This is also one of her pet peeves- liars. She takes the effort to be honest about herself with those she's close to, and she kind of expects the gesture to be reciprocated in full. Her sense of betrayal will deepen the closer you were to her, and in severe cases, she'll never trust you again. Her ability to read the situation comes in handy for keeping her out of trouble. She tends to steer clear of open battle.
• Unlucky ||
  
  Prominent above all other bits of her personality is her bad luck. She runs into bad situations all the time, and on some special cases, she winds up getting hurt in some way because of the situations she gets roped into. Her inability to stay out of trouble isn't something she complains about, because it gives life to her, otherwise, completely boring life. She just kind of wishes the action wasn't dangerous to her welfare. Like, she wouldn't mind meeting a guy and having a few dates- that would be an adventure she hasn't had in a really long time. She's not a gambling girl, but the few times that she has made bets, she's always lost. It's about time her luck changed.
• Sardonic ||
  
  The second most prominent trait in her personality is her sarcastic sense of humor. She doesn't often speak to others, and most of the time when she does open her mouth, it's just to make some snide remark that borders facetious. At first, these barbed comments can really lead people to think she's deliberately being rude or mean. However, Izuki has been hurt so badly in the past, that her sarcasm today is a defense mechanism. Those that leave after the first conversation with her aren't the ones she wants to hang around with. Those that stick around despite her attitude are the ones who get to know that her comments are only an attempt at humor.

These traits fade in dominance over her personality as she gets older. They're still there, but not as easy to see in her as they once were.

• Romantic ||
  
  When she lived in the soul society, as the Captain commander's granddaughter, every aspect of her life was not hers to choose. She had people telling her how to dress, how to act, what to do, what to say, even who to hang out with. Every moment of her childhood was controlled. So Child- Izuki often dreamed of falling in love and being swept away from her silver-spoon prison. Her Romantic fantasies were childlike, of course, and she was never given much of a chance to act on them. However, she still, to this day, reads romance novels in her alone time. She'd never admit it openly, but an offering of flowers would win her over in a heartbeat.
• Naive ||
  
  This particular trait was killed and buried as she aged. Her curiosity on how the world worked was squashed flat by hard, realistic facts. Tears were shed, hearts were broken, but in the end, the knowledge she gained from her sacrifice made her who she is today. You usually have to destroy your innocence to gain wisdom. With Izuki it was no different.
• Mischievous ||
  
  Remember when I said Izuki had horrible luck when it came to running into trouble? This trait goes hand in hand with that one. Even though she wishes her luck would change, her mischievous trait makes her relish in the danger to varying degrees. It depends on the amount and nature of the danger she's in. Secretly, she loves to needle her way into anything happening that she feels is interesting.
• Obedient ||
  
  This one also died soon after she ran away from home. Growing up, Izuki was told what to do all the time, and when she was really young, this didn't bother her. She did everything she was told without kicking up much of a fuss over it, not even if she didn't really want to do the things she was told. She knew she would be rewarded for her obedience some day... or, so she had hoped.

Zanpakutō Name: Full name: Akuma no Kasanki
Shikai: Kasanki.

Zanpakutō Spirit Personality: A cold, ruthless killer, who revels in the bloodshed of her victims. "Kasan" Burns with a deep seated hatred for almost all humanity, and she can be difficult to deal with when she's provoked. Her hatred stems from the fact that she loves Izuki with all her heart, and the pain that Izuki has been through affected her into thirsting for revenge. She would do anything to protect her master, though her methods of doing so aren't always Izuki's favorite choices, especially with how doting Kasanki is over Izuki and how independent Izuki likes to believe she is. Thus, they don't always get along, but beneath their bickering is a bond of understanding that is difficult to fathom, and nearly impossible to break apart.

Inner World:

An endless forest stretches beneath perpetual moonlight. The stars glimmer overhead like distant pinpricks of silver. The moon seems abnormally large, as though it were really close, However, it remains unseen unless one were to look straight up in a clearing. That is because while the moon is close and the stars are far, the trees are so huge that one would feel as small as a mouse in comparison. The ground is covered in a layer of dead leaves, and tussocks of grass, with patches of bare dirt where the ground has been trodden on most frequently.

Thankfully, it is just the trees that seem to be supersized. The rest of the forest appears normal, albeit distorted. The power level does not seem to make it any less confusing, although overtime, especially as Izuki grows older, the trees shrink to normal-size. Possibly signifying that the world is huge when you're young, but as you grow older, the mysteries of the world shrink down to less of an enigma, and it is easier to decipher, while you are more logical to understand. Now, her world evolves with the seasons, and not only that, but the moon is orbiting again... maybe sometime soon the sun will rise?

Sealed Zanpakutō Appearance:
Short thin, it looks more like a long dagger than a sword. The guard is shaped like a snake skull, and the hilt is wrapped in worn leather. It seems to be very old and kind of worse for wear. The blade is rusted, although sharped to a usable point. Because of it's fragility, it would easily break in open combat, which is why Izuki does NOT engage in open war. She's an assassin, not a warrior. she is, however, quite skilled with the small blade, when pushed, and because the edge is usually poisoned, all she has to do is land a single scratch on her opponent.

Shikai Information

Shikai Appearance: The rusty dagger shatters in half to create two gripless kunai knives. The guards are a simple pentagram circle. The blades are corroded to barely show any of the original metal. The smaller, rustier blades pose the threat of infection if they slice through skin, and that's not taking into account the fact that now the blades are dripping in visible poison. They take on the appearance of fangs.

Shikai Abilities: While her kunai knives aren't all that impressive, they grant her the freedom of agility. The blades are small enough to slip through the cracks in her opponent's defenses, and without a heavy sword to swing around, she can easily dance out of the way of attacks, which she tracks through sound and wind sensations. she still wouldn't get much of anywhere in head-to-head combat. Even in shikai form, her power rests more in stealthy killing than honorable bloodshed.

Bankai Information

Bankai Appearance: There's really nothing different about Izuki, except that her eyes are now gleaming a bloody red instead of green. Her skin takes on a scaly appearance, as well. Her kunai's corrode to nothing, but this is an illusion. The blade shards become an invisible cloud of gas that is only revealed under blacklight. The UV rays cause it to glow a neon green. What is revealed is the ghost image of a ginormous snake- big enough to swallow a man whole if it were solid enough to do so. The eyes gleam like burning charcoals.
