Personality: Despite being raised in a family with ancestral connections to French Aristocrats and a forgotten knight, Marie was half-way between popular and being a loser. The loser part of her is that she has a tendency in failing in the physical work that the Russian are proud with while she is average in academic work that Russian schools put heavy emphasis on. The popular part is due to her family connection being known throughout Russia and her appearance passes as a “pretty girl” that popular jocks tend to associate with. So in technicality, she is a high-class loser and Marie is not proud of it. How can she fix that is basically finding ways to make her stand out more than just a pretty face or “dumb blond” as a few girls referred her as.

Unlike her parents and siblings, Marie has no intention of becoming a reputed figure and instead applies her art of photography for photography club and the newspaper. In a sport of humorous comments, a reporter commented that, “it is impossible for Marie to break any camera or to ruin a good photo shoot, but it is also impossible for her not to break the rules on grammar.” Considering she was known to the girls as a “spoiled brat,” she does have quirks that make her immature while lacking knowledge of the outside world other than where her family usually takes her. Despite all the bad things spoken about her, no one seen her break down because usually she cries in secret over her inability to stand up for herself like her brothers can. She was even frequently reminded that she cannot do things along and like a parasite, relying on her brothers and the jocks to stand up for her.

BACKGROUND || THEIR PAST

Background/History: For centuries, the Alice Family are descendants of knights in France and are still holding their traditions despite being secretly aristocrats who reside in Russia as part of their escape from the French Revolution and the Reign of Terror. While the men are focused in military, the women of the family are reputed artists like Marie’s mother is a reputed fashion designer while her father is a Naval Admiral in the Russian Navy. The biggest secret they carry was their unique connection to one of their most influential ancestor, Jacquelyn Rouge, a lesser knight serving King Arthur of Camelot as they are capable of summoning that ancestor to help them in dealing with foul spirits like the Hollows. As for Marie, she is old enough to know how to call upon a forgotten avatar that is known to other avatars as “Justicar.” Reason for the secret was the knowledge of mages looking for ways to capture avatars like Justicar and bend them to their will; a situation that the Alice Family cannot allow.

Marie choice of art was with photography and as a student of a high school for either the talented or the wealthy individuals; Marie is primarily accepted because of her connection to a wealthy family, the Alice Family. With the rise of the smart folks as the cool, some of the students there looked down upon her for the fact that she was part of the wealthy family and was not smart at all. Given that she was already friends with some of the jocks and cheerleaders, something worked out for her, but she does not get any favors from the nerds and the academically successful. While her scores are average and not an outcast to the jocks and cheerleaders, she was an outcast to the smart folks. In her photography club, she was often discredited since most of the photography members are from the “smarties” or so as the jocks called them. The newspaper editors rejected her submissions in favor of her competitors who somehow have the same pictures as she does.

Being born in an aristocratic family who are reputed media or military figures, Marie is a talented photographer learning under the apprenticeship of her aunt, a reputed photographer for top newspaper companies in Russia. Despite her still being a child instead of a young adult that she is expected to be, her family are not strict about it. As a child, Marie was given her first camera from her aunt as a birthday present since her mother asked for it for Marie’s interest in photos and the mechanics of the camera. So quite literally, the camera became part of Marie’s identity and she would feel naked without it. Throughout her childhood and throughout her travels with her father and mother to shared tours, Marie carried her camera and taken pictures of the world she witnessed. When she was admitted to a peculiar high school, she was left at her estate so she can have her education.

When she entered the high school, the school was already segregated into two factions; the Smarties and the Preppies. The Smarties are the smart folks who grew into popularity rivaling the more traditional Preppies due to increasing demands for smart people. The Preppies are usually jocks and cheerleaders as well as rich folks who are given special privileges like a more luxurious dormitory and a worldly range of rich meals and antiques. Marie happens to not fit in with the Smarties due to their rejection of her dull intellect, but the athletes and rich folks are close to her like family due to her family’s connection with their families as well as her good looks. Because of the segregation between smart people and the charismatic people, Marie became who the Smarties called, “A High Class Loser.”

Ziamichi Spirit Name: Jacquelyn Rouge (Known as “Justicar”)

Ziamichi Personality: As a forgotten knight from the past, Justicar was only mentioned within the Alice Family as a secret kept from the mages and witches who are seeking avatars to recruit. During the time of King Arthur, she was only mentioned in texts as “Jacob Rouge de Normandy” or by “his” nickname, “Justicar” for the blind zeal to the faith of Karma, a phenomenon of vengeance. Unfortunately for Marie’s case, Justicar is strictly self-justified and orderly where she acts keenly when she sees injustice or lack of loyalty to the King (Auturia/Arthur.) To make things worse, she has outdated knowledge where she often thought a car is an armored horse and a semi-trailer truck is a dragon (Marie was often arrested for questioning because of random destruction of property with her at the scene.) Given that Marie cannot see spirits and Justicar can, she materializes herself even when uncalled for.

Ziamichi History: Justicar was part of the noble French family who served the French King, but given that the ruling over women are not justified to her, she secretly learns the ways of the knight. It was when she is at a matrimonial age that her father discovered her in his dead son’s armor and holding his sword and shield; it ended with the father trying to kill her as a way to cleanse himself of his sin for having “a devil’s child” for a daughter. However, Justicar slew him and justified herself that she chose to live as Karma wishes her father to die because he is meant to die for his pride. Despite the justification, she was forced to flee into England, where she disguised herself as a roaming male knight. Eventually she meets King Arthur during the war.

She was recruited by King Arthur as a lesser knight and during that time, witchcraft and wizardry was rare, but catastrophic to spare, so Justicar was tasked with slaying mages and witches who opposes King Arthur and sought for the Holy Grail for themselves. Throughout the multitude of battles, Justicar slain many mages and witches and overcame dozens of curses that would normally hold down normal knights. In the end of her career, she was discovered to be a woman by Sir Lancelot and was dishonorably discharged. The final moment of her life was when she saved Sir Lancelot from a dark knight known as Berserker with a pitchfork and no armor; she was mortally wounded and smiled to her end, knowing that Berserker will pay in kind and Sir Lancelot is ashamed for being saved by a woman. In the present, she serves the Alice Family as a guardian spirit (or a Materializing Ziamichi Spirit to be technical.)

Ziamichi Powers: Avenger of the Lost is a minor title due to Justicar’s rare talent of overcoming impossible odds for the sake of avenging her allies. Whenever she is materialized, all allies and bystanders who are considered casualties (incapacitated or dead) will count to her prowess and abilities as a boost of willpower/determination.

Divine Zealot is a mindset where Justicar’s willpower and determination substitutes her physical abilities like Strength, Durability and General Speed. The more resolute she is, the stronger she becomes with blind faith in Karma.

Forgotten Oath to the King is a mark that reveals her loyalty to Auturia/Arthur in the past and whenever she is near Auturia/Arthur, all her allies are counted to her Avenger of the Lost, regardless if they are casualties or not.

Magebane is the role she was given when she first joined King Arthur’s army as a lesser knight and it marks her as capable of fighting mages, witches and overcoming some spells that would normally overwhelm her allies. Meaning that the more willpower and determination she gains from Avenger of the Lost, she becomes more likely to be unfazed by strong spells and curses. To an extreme, she can virtually shatter barriers as she comes through in order to reach the mage or witch (even Kidō users.)

BENEFITS || OF HOST

Unique Traits: She gains nothing from her ziamichi other than the ability to materialize the ziamichi spirit at will by calling out, “Avenge the Fallen!” From there, the best Marie could do is to stand by and avoid trouble as Justicar handles the rest.

Forms: Marie has no forms at all to speak of.

Drawbacks: Given that she has nothing given to her other than the ability to materialize Justicar, Marie’s primary drawback was her not being fit for battle situations. Because of that, if Justicar goes into the offense, it guarantees that Marie will be vulnerable to attacks and if Marie was incapacitated or killed, Justicar “dies” and just returns to where she comes from to wait for the next time she is summoned by a member of the Alice Family, her direct descendants.

Control: Zero, Marie cannot control Justicar as Justicar acts on her own, so even if it appears that Marie has control, Justicar is actually doing what she believes to be justified.

Comments/Notes: This is apart of my massive check to give the correct Tiers/Classes to Ziamichi and their spirit's following their update a few months ago. If you have any issues with it, feel free to leave a post after this judgement is made.

In addition to that, you should also probably add in the Ziamichi Sync-Rate into their skill sheet.

"Sync-Rate: This refers to how stabilized and strong the connection between the two spirit's energy wavelengths, mental states and the overall union is. While the seal focuses on fusing the souls together, the Sync-Rate plays a much different role. Depending on how high their Sync-Rate is, they may see similar effects as the Vizard's Augmentation attributes when using their Ziamichi powers. That is, the better your Sync-Rate Skill is, the more enhancements your character may generally have when they unify with their spirit. While, if you had a lower skill in this section, you may not see many benefits in the stat boosters related to using these dual or triple powersets. To given an example, someone with an Advanced Sync-Rate will generally be able to better handle the fluctuation in power that come with wielding both theirs and the Ziamichi Spirit's energy; being that their two separate tiers. Ergo, they can see augmentation boost in their mental states, will skills, special abilities and so on. The higher you go in this skill, the more Synchronization is possible. A master or Grandmaster in this may even find a way to even temporarily boost their tier level by using the Spirit(s) and their own energy at the same time ."
