Gender: Hermaphrodite (so both)
Appearance: Apos is a rather... odd individual, and his, or her, or, well, it's appearance is only the beginning. To start with, it is important to know that Apos is a hermaphrodite, and as such has the three main sexual organs (breasts, vagina, and penis). This being said, for his average appearance, it seems that his "male" side is more predominant. Although his face is effeminate, it is easily identifiable as male. Along with this, Apos also has medium length, straight blond hair and red-brown eyes. Although he does have breasts, they are actually rather small, and with a bit of bandaging which he usually wears, Apos is able to conceal them perfectly. Simply put, it is near impossible to tell that Apos is anything but a normal young man from his general appearance. In this general appearance, Apos most often wears a black suit, looking slightly similar to some male school uniforms, as well as a black choker around his neck. In this appearance, the most noticeable aspect of Apos' appearance is the almost too innocent look plastered on his face. For anyone who knows his true character, this innocent look is obviously a facade, but for those who do not know of him, it can be quite the clever disguise.

While this may be fine for his general appearance, Apos' full appearance can and does undergo a change for one circumstance. Although he may keep the innocent facade upon his face while preforming some very gruesome acts, once his facial features begin to show his true nature, his overall appearance begins to change as well. Oddly enough, while his normal, "nonthreatening" appearance takes one mainly male aspects, once he shows his true colors, the female side of his appearance begin to take over. Although his face already had some effeminate qualities to it, when he shows his true colors, it begins to take on many more feminine qualities, until it truly begins to look like the face of a woman. While his hair and eyes remain the same length and color, the rest of his body begins to seem more "shapely", though whether this is a true physical change or an optical illusion because of the changes to his face are still not clear. Finally, while he does not necessarily hide the fact that he is a hermaphrodite, when his true colors come to the surface, Apos has a tendency to fully reveal the fact that his gender is different from the normal; generally by either removing the bandaging binding his breasts or fully removing his shirt and the bandaging. While this may seem a little odd, it actually has a psychological effect on his victims; fully portraying the fact that he is no normal being.

Personality: When it comes to personality, it is actually much easier to describe Apos' character than it is to decide on which gender to refer to him as. Simply put, Apos is pure, unadulterated, evil. While this may seem like a bit of an overstatement, it is really the core of his whole character. Apos is a man (or, woman?) who would delight in nothing less than the complete and utter destruction of every person on an individual level. Honestly, masochistic is nowhere even close to a string enough word to describe how this man enjoys the suffering of others. However, simple "general" suffering is not enough for this fiend, as Apos goes even further to find the most effective and personal way to damage, both physically and mentally, his victims. Seriously, if it’s not obvious by now, this... thing would like nothing more than jump right out of the screen and cause you an unimaginable amount of pain, suffering, and misery. It's not gonna get any better from here, so don't expect to find any redeeming qualities in this monstrosity of a being.

Now, while suffering is the greatest aphrodisiac to this man, Apos is nothing if not intelligent. Sure, he may be a beast that cannibalizes on the destruction of others, but this beast is intelligent enough to know how to snare it's prey. Because he knows that not a single soul would approach his true nature, Apos masks his intentions with a facade of innocence. As stated in his appearance, the uninformed viewer of this being would only assume him to be an innocent young man, but this goes even further than appearances. Basically, until this man actually talks to you, his entire being emits nothing more than an aura of innocence, something that only the most in-tune to the intents of others would be able to pierce. Hell, even when he speaks, as demented as his words may actually be, Apos is somehow able to maintain this air of innocence even in his tone. As an example, Apos could approach you and say something like "I would delight in nothing more than your complete and utter destruction, both physically and mentally", and other than the actual words themselves, everything about him would still seem so innocent. Not only this, but even as he tortures you in countless ways until both your mind and body are completely broken, he will keep this innocent facade up even to the last moments of your now broken life. In all honesty, it is this ability to appear innocent while performing unimaginably gruesome acts that truly define his evil.

Moving right along, while his innocent facade is something that Apos keeps up at most times, when it finally slips during a particularly agonizing and dehumanizing destruction of an individual, his true nature is able to shine through. Long gone are any hints of that false innocence, instead replaced with the overwhelming and crushing feel created by his unbridled will to destroy you as an individual. Sure, while he always wants to destroy you, once the mask that covers his true intentions is broken, this desire is take to a whole new level. Hell, he doesn't just enjoy the process of breaking you down, he is fucking in love with it; like this is his version of sex. While there is no real "orgasmic" response, during this state, the need to cause both physical and mental pain is like breathing to him; not just something he does subconsciously, but something that he must do just to survive. Seriously, once this side is revealed, Apos will not stop until something has been utterly destroyed, broken down completely both physically and mentally. That being said, even during his most manic episodes during this state, Apos is somehow able to maintain an overall sense of mental calmness and actual clear thoughts that make it seem almost as if he is fully manipulating his own internal desires.

As one would expect, when it comes to actual combat, when his victims actually have a fighting chance, many of these same qualities carry over. Generally, when beginning a battle, Apos will still have his innocent facade up, and as such those with weaker wills find it harder to attack something that seems so innocent. Of course, even while feigning innocence, Apos' full intellect is displayed most prominently during battle. While he may string his opponent along with false innocence or attacking them with psychological assaults, Apos is still able to clearly plan out his own actions as well as read his opponent; both physically and mentally. While definitely not any kind of perfect science, these traits are generally able to give Apos an advantage over most opponents; usually determined by how well they themselves are able to plan. Of course, all this being said, it is still possible to drag out his inner, more "manic" traits during battle; though whether or not this is actually advantageous to the opponent is highly debatable. Although he in no way becomes "dumb" during these phases, his main strategy changes from, well, an intellectual one to one focused more on inflicting the maximum amount of pain on his opponent as possible.

Powers:
Indelible Attraction: Probably Apos’ most unique technique, this “Indelible Attraction” is a direct result of the combination of both male and female ideas (and form) within Apos. Basically, this ability takes the form of a specific chemical mixture that happens naturally within Apos’s body that he is able to secrete from his body. Though not the same thing, it is easiest to think of this chemical mixture as a sort of pheromone because of the general way it works as well as its effects. Once secreted, this chemical mixture immediately begins to take effect. As implied by the name, this chemical mixture effects the physical attributes associated with sexual arousal. Now, this should not be confused with actually effecting the emotions of a character. Basically, the chemical mixture causes the physical symptoms of physical, sexual arousal. These symptoms include a general weakening of the body, increased heart rate, increased perspiration, diversion of blood flow to the sexual organs, strong sexual urges aimed at Apos, a lessened ability to reason, increased sensitivity, clumsiness, and at high enough concentrations, simply coming into contact with the chemicals can cause one to spontaneously orgasm. Now, these physical effects will most likely have some sort of impact on a characters emotion, that impact is not a direct result of the power, and is determined by the character and their personality. Also, because of the unique chemicals used, instead of causing sexual aggression, they actually cause a desire to be sexually subservient to Apos which, of course, differs from character to character. Finally, because Apos is the combination of both male and female, this chemical mixture is able to affect both males and females equally, as well as other transsexual individuals.
