Name: Tatsuki Arisawa

Personality: Tatsuki is still like the tomboy she was during her high school years, but she has some self-esteem issues because she's been having actual feelings for Ravana Ichiro for the past century or two, because she hasn't really been that "soft" with anyone else. She had a "hard time" in high school with relationships. She didn't really mind it though.

Tatsuki still wraps her life around her karate, even though she..well..died, and wasn't able to become the female world champion. She is still upset over that, even if it has been 400 years since then.
She would sometimes give the cheesy drama if anyone gave her crap about it, because she basically focussed on Orihime's problems when they were growing up and Tatsuki hardly-if any-had any issues. Same thing with her advice to people-it was cheesy besides with Orihime since she understood what her best friend's situations were.

Shikai Description: Tatsuki Arisawa [APPROVED, 3-3] 2h6vr5j

Shikai Abilities: The first and most obvious ability of Tatsuki’s Shikai is her sword’s prehensile tail, which can be grown or shrunk at her will. The flexibility allows her to attack opponents who are both close and far, while also remaining fast. She can also use the “tail” section of the blade to wrap around her opponents to bind them. The second power of her shikai is control of the earth element. For starters, Tatsuki can shoot her blade into the ground to either cause tremors/earthquakes to knock her opponent off balance or have it shoot up at her opponent from underground. Another attack is when she punches the ground with her free hand, which can do one of two things. The first is a defensive maneuver, bringing up a wall of earth to protect her from attacks. The second, a large boulder is broken from the ground and then shot straight towards her enemy, as a sort of long range attack. Finally, by placing her hand flat on any earth surface, Tatsuki can form multiple spikes of stone that are then shot at her opponent. Although it is a projectile attack, it is limited to mid range but focuses on firing multiple projectiles.

Bankai Description: After she releases the Bankai, Tatsuki keeps the same general look. Since she focuses more on the physical aspect than the spiritual.Inuheishi's only changes are that he has mini blades peircing out of his fur.

Bankai Abilities: Like in the Kankai description, Tatsuki's lack of spirit cuts down on her Bankai abilities. With her Bankai, she inhances her Shikai's abilities. Although she already causes earthquakes/tremors, she only uses these abilities if she needs extra physical strength. Some people call it fake steroids, but she doesn't believe that. It's her natural born talent/gift, not artificial wannabe fluid.

History/Background: Tatsuki and Ichigo are childhood friends. They first met when they were 4 years old, at the dojo where Tatsuki used to train. She claims to be the first person to make Ichigo cry at the dojo, with one blow to the upper body, which made Ichigo cry in about 10 seconds. That was the beginning of their friendship. Tatsuki routinely beat Ichigo until sometime in the 6th grade. They have not had a Karate match since the day Ichigo beat her. Ichigo also used to call her Tatsuki-chan but stopped in the 5th grade.

Ichigo's mother died when he and Tatsuki were nine years old. Following his mother's death, Ichigo started skipping school, this prompted Tatsuki to go look for Ichigo. She found him by the river-bank, which he paced from morning till night. Tatsuki believed that Ichigo was looking for his mother and claims that it was very hard for her to see Ichigo like that. As a child, Tatsuki once asked Ichigo if it was true that he could see ghosts. Ichigo denied it, Tatsuki believed him and in-turn got angry at the kids who were spreading the rumors about Ichigo.

Tatsuki and Orihime met in middle school, shortly after the death of Orihime's brother. Tatsuki became Orihime's protector and due to her friendship and projection, Orihime gained enough confidence to grow her hair long. They have been best friends ever since.

When Tatsuki was alive, she was spiritually aware to the point that she can clearly see ghosts, Hollows, Shinigami, and other such supernatural phenomena, though she lacked any unique spiritual powers of her own. She was strong enough to survive spiritual attacks most humans are incapable of dealing with, though this may be due to her karate training. She also had the ability to sense Orihime from almost anywhere, even across dimensions; she was able to sense Orihime when she traveled to Soul Society, but remarked that she can't sense her presence after Orihime is taken to Hueco Mundo.

Tatsuki had met Ravana just a few months before her death. It was right after he had become a captain. She had susupected that Ravana was a shinigami when she was alive. Aizen killed her short after, thus proving to her she was right about Ravana. She had actually started to have small feelings for him. Once Tatsuki was finally able to tell Ravana how she died, she felt that he was ignoring her afterwards. Tatsuki hasn't seen nor talked to Ravana since.

Roleplay Sample: As the school bell rang, Megumi Yuko was sent back to reality. She always had lost herself with her thoughts about the Quincy during school hours. She only had good grades because she would catch up on the lessons every night when she sat alone in her dark room.

She saw the family car waiting right outside when she glanced out the second floor window for one last time. "Did they seirously have to pay for security?" Megumi sighed. She knew the school all too well now, so she skipped out the back door once she got passed the flood of people that didn't care for her.

"If they're going to do that, than they'd better be sitting in class next to me," she giggled. Megumi snuck out of the school's alleyway right when the security guards weren't paying attention. She loved the rush of running away from her strict and uptight family. There wasn't any rules, and she was able to have time to practice some of her "secret Quincy powers".

Without any notice, Megumi ran into a woman. All of her stuff fell out of her school bag. "Oh no! I'm so sorry!" she replied without seeing who she actually ran into. She she picked up the papers Megumi said, "I should really pay attention more." She giggled nervousfully, hoping that the person wouldn't recognize who she was. Once she got a chance to look up, Megumi was shocked. The woman she had bumped into looked almost exactly like herself, besides the fact that she was taller and had more..woman features(haha). For a moment, Megumi thought that she was adopted into the Yuko family and this stranger was actually her mother; but Megumi knew that wasn't true

Appearance Description: Tatsuki has short spikey black hair that goes down to her shoulders. Her spikes are longer in the front and are wild, which she does by putting a generous amount of hair-gel into her hair to get it like that. She has largish brown eyes with her eyes slanting downwards slightly on the outside. She has a small nose, with large full lips just underneath the nose. Her ears are of average size. She has light skin, with little or no blemishes upon it. She stands at a proud but low five foot one inch with a whooping ninety pounds under her belt. She has generous low C-cup breasts.

She wears a near full-body black bodysuit. The only skin that is shown is her neck, head, arms, and her entire back. She wears a white undershirt to hide her back from view of pervy men. She wears black arm warmers up to her elbows covered by tan arm warmers that cover the black ones. She also wears a tan scarf around her neck. She wears a tan belt around her slim waist holstering her tanto-like Zanpakutō. She wears boots upon her feet covered by the same tan material as shown above.

She rarely wears the kimono that most Shinigami wear, preferring the mobility that her normal clothing provides her, but during important ceremonies she will wear a thin black kimono like the rest of the Shinigami, albeit with some changes. She does not wear sode on her kimono preferring to have her arms free of obstruction. She keeps the material thin and cheap just encase she needs to rip it off of herself for a fight. She wears the regular hakama, albeit with thinner material and less of it making it look like really loose pants instead of hakama.

Personality: Tatsuki is a tomboyish girl even after all these years. She is extremely protective of her friends, going to great lengths to protect them, which drove her into becoming a shinigami in the first place. Tatsuki is level-headed most of the time, unless she is provoked by someone, or somebody simply killed one of her friends in front of her. She has a mean temper when provoked or pissed off. She will hit anyone that annoys one of her friends, or gives her some sort of deep insult, like a compliment which she takes the wrong way. She will stay angry for a long time even after wrecking most of the room she is in. She puts great pride in her martial arts ability, practicing since childhood.

She dislikes being reminded of her own feminine side, especially how she writes her name in Hiragana, which looks ugly in her eyes. This is her only feminine trait that she displays. She will defend any of her friends and those who are not her friends and need it from any sort of bullying. She will defend and protect anyone that needs it, without and regard for her own safety. She is a extremely stubborn and intelligent person. She will never back down from a challenge, especially from assholes that say a woman's place is in the kitchen, for those individuals she will completely knock their blocks off.

Natural Abilities:

Master Hand-to-hand Combatant: Due to her being trained since childhood in karate, Tatsuki has displayed a very high skill in this part of combat. Enough skill to protect herself from several enemies at the same time, and train other people in the basics on how to defend themselves. Tatsuki, use to be the second strongest of her age group back when she was alive while in her teens. She came in second in a tournament with her arm broken, which proves that she is a excellent hand to hand combatant, when necessary. Since her time as a teenager, Tatsuki continued to train in Karate and different styles of Martial Arts to obtain mastery in Hand to Hand combat.

High Endurance: Tatsuki's resolve to win allowed her to continue on with a tournament despite her breaking her arm. She willingly continued to fight with the broken arm in the tournament despite several people saying she could quit if she wanted to. Her stubbornness and her resolve allowed her to place second in the tournament. While alive, she has shown her endurance when taking hits from hollows like when she battled Numb Chandelier, showing great endurance and resolve in staying in control over her own actions resisting the control of this hollow.

Mixed Martial Arts: Tatsuki over the long years of her life had learned and mastered various different styles of martial arts and mixed them together to form her own style of martial arts putting their strengths into her personal style, with half of the weaknesses taken away from the styles. She can switch between her own style and the various other styles that she has learned over the long years of her life, and trained each and every one of them to their peak during the long years of her death and throughout her time as as Shinigami.

Sealed Zanpakutô Apperance : A 10 inch bladed tanto, that hangs from the back of her belt. The tsuba, is shaped like a triangle with lightning strikes decorating it. The grip is dark blue with dark yellow lightning stripes going around it.

Sealed Zanpakutô Abilities:

High Spiritual Power: Tatsuki's spiritual power was great enough while she was a teenager, to resist Yammy's Gonzui. Her spiritual power has only grown since that incident. Since the incident she had trained both her body and spirit to withstand more and more amounts of power, like the Gonzui, to the point where she can gather reishi into her hands, arms, legs, and feet and use it to enhance her punching and kicking power exponentially. She asked Urahara for something to constantly drain her reishi so it speeds up the production of it, so she can become more powerful to protect her friends, and the helpless from Hollows.

High Spiritual Awareness: While alive, Tatsuki was aware enough to see and sense pluses, hollows, shinigami, and other spiritual beings. This Awareness became almost like a sixth sense to her, over the years. She is passively able to sense everyone within a mile radius of her, and gauge their power through this awareness. She was able to sense Orihime across worlds while she was a teenager, even when she was within Soul Society, albeit barely. She confronted Ichigo when she could no longer sense her best friend whom was within Hueco Mundo at the time. She can now sense Orihime wherever she is, and will go to help her if she senses that Orihime is in peril.

High Reiatsu Resistance: Tatsuki has displayed her high spiritual resistance many times while she was a living teenager. From grappling with a hollow to defend Orihime from it, to resisting a 'Hogyoku-enhanced' Aizen, and preserving her own existence from being erased while in his presence, albeit being paralyzed and on her knees from the sheer weight of his spiritual pressure pushing down upon her. Her resistance to spiritual attacks has only grown since that day, to the point where she barely takes any damage from a bala fired from a low ranking Espada, or a Hadō 30 from a weaker Fukutaicho. She passively uses her reishi to empower her spiritual and physical defenses, by infusing it into her skin. When she senses she is about to be attacked she pushes her reishi outwards to ward off the hit, taking reduced damage from it.

High Lightning Generation and Manipulation: Due to her own power growing, Tatsuki has been able to generate and manipulate lightning from within her own soul. She has displayed this ability many times over the course of her life within the Soul Society. She mostly uses this to enhance her muscles by making them contract and flex faster, increasing her speed by a single skill level for a single post(goes on CD for 3 posts), or by enhancing her physical attacks by giving whatever she's punching a good shock. She has been seen using this ability to send out moderately large bolts of lightning from her hands without the need to practice Kido. She can use this Lightning to cook if she uses a low voltage and they're trying to be stealthy, on different types of missions. Tatsuki, can use this lightning to propel herself through the air, making it look like she is flying momentarily. (Scaled by Kido skill)

Lightning absorption and redirection: Tatsuki is able to absorb lightning based physical and reishi based attacks, by drawing it into her body using her own reishi to neutralize the damage that it would normally cause. If she cannot neutralize the damage that it would cause she uses her reishi to redirect it into the ground making it harmless. She cannot do this if the enemy is more powerful than her by a tier. If the enemy is equal in tier to her she will neutralize half and redirect the rest of it. If the enemy is weaker in tier to her, she will neutralize the damage using her own reishi to counter act the lightning making it harmless and absorbing it into herself to regain some reishi, that she had used during the fight.

Release: Fight Wildly, Ikazuchiken!

Shikai Description: Once released, Ikazuchiken takes the form of pitch black Karate Sparring equipment. The head-piece has a skull on the forehead, and fits snugly to Tatsuki's head. The gloves are thin, to allow the fingers and wrists to move freely. The gloves have spikes where the knuckles are and 2 inch long blades extending from the index and pinky sides of the gloves. They both have skulls on the back of the gloves. The books have steel within the toes to protect them from injury if she chooses to simply launch a kick like that. They also have spikes around them, to pierce the flesh of the enemy. The bottoms of the boots also have spikes on them, so she can stomp on her opponents to kill them if need be. Electricity can be seen arcing across the spikes, at regular intervals.

Shikai Abilities:

Knuckle Duster- This is Ikazuchiken's passive ability. Electricity arcs across the gloves and boots, between the spikes. When punched or kicked the electricity flows through the spikes and into the enemy's body to strike at their nervous system, stunning them for a few posts until their electrical system rights itself, this leads to their brain sending signals to the wrong part of their body, for example, trying to move the right index finger could flex the left arm and strike themselves in the face. For those higher in tier than Tatsuki, this would work only for the minor muscles ie fingers and toes, for those of equal tier this would work on one side of the body like trying to raise an arm would flex the leg and kick them in the butt. For those of lesser tier this messes the person up completely. For those of a severely lesser tier this effect would last longer, and quite possibly mess with their autonomic nervous system. For those of a severely higher tier this would have no effect at all.

Enhanced High Lightning generation and manipulation: Due to her Zanpakutō being released into this state, Tatsuki has greater control over the lightning she produces and has greater control over the lightning that she does not produce, as long as she forces her reishi into the lightning. In order to force the reishi into the lightning she would have to fire her reishi into it, by sending out a Kido spell to intercept the lightning, or simply using one of her shikai abilities to do so. She has a greater resistance to electricity based reishi and physical techniques while using her shikai. (Scaled by Kido skill)
